Chisato is the most attentive, generous and understanding host. Check-in very easy as picked up at the train station. Breakfast tastes very good. Chisato's surprise was inviting me to an internet chat in English. Chisato's travel hints were eclectic and helpful! In short: a wonderful stay!

I was allowed to stay for 3 days. Thank you for being polite from the time of booking to checkout. I'm from Kumamoto, but I'm really glad to have found such a warm place in Yamagata, my father's hometown. My parents said they'd like to use it again when they visit, so I'm staying. Thank you very much.

Host was very helpful in giving recommendations! She even helped me and my husband get a reservation for our anniversary dinner. The place was very thoughtful esp for group trips, from enough amount of towels, soaps, etc. Cute small shops and restaurants are also walking distance!

Pleasant and spacious house in a very beautiful part of Japan. Toshiharu was very friendly and was always helpful, even making me a lunch on the day I left. Guests should note that this is a more social experience and you’ll be asked to join for dinner and activities during the day. I was very tired on my first day and it was hard to communicate to Toshiharu that I needed to rest.

I arrived earlier than the scheduled arrival time, but they handled it kindly. The room was spacious and clean, with an electric kettle, tea set, and wine glasses, and everything we needed.I especially enjoyed the jetted tub in the bathroom. It was also nice that the garage was right next to the room.I am satisfied with the reasonably priced space.
