Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles

The house was in a location close enough to LA, Topanga, the Getty, hiking, shopping and restaurants. The owners were very responsive to our requests and feedback. The outdoor space was comfortable and the house was perfect sized for my friend and I to stay and catch up with, and host for brunch, three old friends. Thank you!

We have stayed at many AirBnBs but this was by far my family’s favorite - from the insanely gorgeous home with unique and over the top design to the walkable location and picturesque streets we felt like we were in a movie. We were able to walk to some of the best restaurants, shopping, and coffee but honestly the house in itself was an experience so it was hard to even leave! Jolie was extremely responsive and kind. The house is filled w extra towels, pillows, etc. we will be back every time we go to visit my brother!

Phillip is such an amazing host and very responsive. His place was clean and well kept and made me feel at home. I would definitely book his home again.

Hands down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Sarah’s place is a dream home, spotlessly clean, with the loveliest hosts and best quality everything - the polar opposite of the standard sterile Airbnb. (We felt like we were staying in a very stylish friend’s house!) The location is unbeatable - a short walk to great restaurants, shops and cafes on Ventura Blvd; beaches, Universal, Beverly Hills all within a quick drive. The best part was the home itself - light, bright, quiet, 5 bedrooms (2 interconnecting) and multiple different living areas, so plenty of space to spread out - huge eat-in kitchen, separate formal dining room, formal living room, cosy TV room (with huge cinema screen for movie nights!) and peaceful skylit sunroom - something for everyone. Super comfy beds, stunning bathrooms and a kitchen better than a magazine cover. Enclosed, private garden front and back with a lovely pool and outdoor kitchen. If you are taking the family to Universal, rent this place. The location is spectacular and only 8 minutes from Universal. The beds were very comfortable. One of the bedrooms is over the garage and separate from the main house. That might be an issue for parents with small children. It was actually fine for our group. One of the adult couples had a nice semi-private getaway. Shopping and restaurants all close by. The host was very helpful and responsive. I would stay here again. Only minor complaint was the deck with the hot tub needed sweeping. I’m sure the location makes keeping up with that challenging.

Oliver is an absolutely amazing host. This is quite literally the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. I don’t usually write reviews but this is worth it. The home has so much character and love you’ll feel more than at home. There is a reason why Oliver is 5 star host with zero 4 star ratings because there is literally no way you could ever give this host anything less the 5 stars. Absolutely amazing Airbnb you will not regret it one bit.

We came to LA for a concert at the Hollywood bowl, this was a perfect location. It was cute (love the faux plant touches) clean, and comfortable! And the swimming pool was excellent! If you're going into the city, definitely need a car! Would highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay. It was very comfortable. Loved that Whole Foods was in walking distance as well as local restaurants. That was the best part. Very cute place and just a great location.

Chase was a great host. My girlfriend and I stayed there for almost 2 weeks and everything was perfect. They were very responsive and I would highly recommend anyone to stay there. Big thumbs up!!

Maggie was an exceptional host. Any thing that we needed or if anything happened she was one phone call away. The location was awesome and perfectly described. We loved our entire experience and we would most definitely stay at this location again.

The LV House was wonderful to stay in! It was exactly as described, and was a beautiful and modern place to stay. Cassy made each step of the way easy and checked in often to ensure we had everything we needed. The area was also very close to a lot of fun activities and site seeing.

The place was very clean. The location was beyond perfect with very cool attractions and restaurants in walking distance. The host had great communication, hospitality, responsive throughout and more than accommodating if I needed anything. This would be my place of choice for next time too!

My sister and I come to LA every summer. This was a great place to stay. Echo park- stone’s throw from silver lake. Amazing walks. Pete’s cabin was cool and quiet. Just what we needed.

Finding a rental in this area of Los Angeles is very rare. It’s near where my daughter and her family live so we could walk there every day without having to hire an Uber or Lyft. Plus the area is quiet and felt very safe. We would definitely stay there again.

Jesus’s home was very clean and updated with beautiful modern farm house touches! So much thoughtfulness went into their welcome basket, to baking supplies, fully stocked coffee bar, variety of fun complimentary snack cupboard, and lavender soaking tub supplies! Property was very private and quiet with lots of outdoor seating along with a big Santa Maria charcoal grill. Definitely would recommend 100%

What a cool place! Kagel Canyon is so close, yet feels world's away from the frantic pace of LA. The house is great - and you quickly get used to the canyon's winding roads to a parking spot right at the gate to the property. Host Vic is very responsive - when we had one issue the first evening, he was there in less than 10 minutes to correct it. He and his co-host are dedicated to making improvements to create a perfect guest experience - even brought over a new table & chairs for the patio while we were there. Kagel Canyon may be further away from downtown LA & Hollywood, but has a similar vibe to Laurel and Topanga canyons, legendary hangouts of the late 60's. Quirky and interesting homes amongst the giant trees - fun to stroll the streets even if there's alot of up and down hiking. Especially enjoyed hiking up the trail from nearby Veranda Dr. - 360° views down into the canyon and into the mountains. Very quickly felt at home - a perfect respite from a very busy city. 5 stars!

It was perfect, better than perfect: Top of line new Airstream ✅ Best sauna you’ll ever sit in ✅ Best hot tub ✅ Wood burning fire pit with proper seating ✅ Best Landscaping and well curated outside lighting ✅ coolest outdoor shower you’ll actually enjoy using ✅ every amenity (robes, slippers, easy to use coffee machine, audio, most comfortable patio seating ever, towels, blankets, huge fridge). It was magical. The host is soooooo responsive. We’re big coffee drinkers and we used all the instant cups for the maker so I mentioned it. We noticed a platter full of the coffee maker things (I don’t know what they’re called) placed by the front. It was like the coffee fairy payed us a visit. They asked if we needed anything after we checked in and before checking out. The bed was super comfy. I can go on.
