We had a beautiful experience during our Melukat ceremony. We felt very welcomed from the very beginning. Everything was explained to us — the meaning of the offerings, the purpose of the meditation, and the spiritual significance of the purification ritual. We meditated together, then came the cleansing under the waterfall and the 10 small holy springs — an incredibly powerful experience. Afterwards, we prayed together, all the while every step was explained to us. All temple clothing was thoughtfully provided for us (sarong, blouse and sash for men and women). We were also given appropriate clothing to change into for the water purification pools. Just remember to bring your swimwear! It is required underneath. After the ceremony, we enjoyed delicious Balinese snacks. Agung and Ayu were incredibly kind and genuine in sharing the Balinese culture with us. Their warmth and guidance made this ceremony unforgettable. We highly recommend this experience!

At first, I was skeptical because Putu informed me that she wouldn’t be there in person and that her team would conduct the ceremony. However, I was welcomed so warmly by Agung and Putu’s cousin that my nervousness completely disappeared. Two years ago, I experienced Melukat in Beji Griya, but there is truly no comparison to this. It was heartfelt, deeply spiritual, and profoundly healing. Agung chanted a beautiful Gayatri Mantra, and during the purification ceremony you could truly feel her incredible energy. The same was true during the prayer — she is a pure and beautiful soul with a deeply healing aura. The meal after the ritual was fantastic and authentically Balinese. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to everyone. It is life-changing, authentic, and absolutely beautiful.
