The cottage near the lake

The cottage by the lake is a charming self contained chalet that boasts both modern clean lines and that warm traditional Portuguese feel. This sweet little chalet is ideal for couples or has a sofa bed to sleep up to 3 people. A spacious clean and modern bathroom is adjacent to the sleeping area which has a great double bed, space to hang clothes and a lovely view of the front garden. There is a modern yet rustic kitchen that includes a microwave, fridge, double hob and basic amenities. There is a dining space for meals and a huge flat screen!! At the front of the chalet is a seating space for two and around to the side a large eating area with a beautiful wall mural, barbecue and large table and benches beneath the grapes vines. 🍇 A quaint and luxurious place to relax in peace and take in the view and only minutes from the town of Pedrogao Grande which has plenty of bars, restaurants a supermarket and many other amenities. Just a 2 hour journey to both Lisbon and porto airports and just 40 minutes to the beautiful city of coimbra. A daily breakfast is also included

You can come and camp with your own tent on the lovely meadow next to the small stream.

Beautiful, clean house, stylishly decorated. Food for breakfast was in the fridge, with fresh bread a croissants delivered in the morning. Owners recommended us a restaurant nearby for dinner, where there was a great chef - Taberna Dos Sabores. It was a great experience. Only issue was with the Wi-Fi which did not work, but we did not mind.

We adored the Casa das Camélias Tortas, we loved the place, we loved it all! The owners of the house were incredible, very friendly, very available, always willing to help and make our stay amazing, which was. They are a wonderful family! We chose this house for the New Year's Eve and we would do it again without a doubt. The house beyond beautifully decorated is very comfortable and filled with all that is needed for an amazing stay. Castanheira is a very cold area, but certainly the fireplaces available, both indoor and outdoor, made everything more magical and warm. The cherry at the top of the cake was the breakfast delivered on the 1st, with variety and quality, at a very friendly price. Everything was perfect, we loved it so much ❤️

Cerdeira was a dream. Great apartment, clean and comfy and the breakfast was amazing. Loved dipping in the little spring fed pool.

The apartment was charming—beautiful art work, nice layout, two comfortable bedrooms, nice kitchen/dining/living room space! The yard is verdant with a lovely pool. We took a delightful walk along the river on a beautiful dirt road. So peaceful! We didn’t have a car, but walked to the center of Tomar in just 12 or 15 minutes. Rita was SO helpful! Having fruit, eggs, bread, yogurt, etc. made it so easy to have breakfast and even a light dinner. This was a fantastic Airbnb!

Carolyn's place is located near Tomar but outside the busy town. The area is beautiful. It is close the the train station. She and her husband are friendly and personable. We really enjoyed our stay of 2 weeks.
