Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

La Casa nel Borgo is located in an ancient and typical Italian village on Lake Como. We are in Domaso and specifically in the village of Pozzolo, at a height of 310 msl and 2 km by car from the lake. We recovered an old stone house, then fixed it up in the 1980s, respecting its identity and the atmosphere of the past. We had a great time! The space was particularly clean and well kept. The view is just beautiful! Having a parking space is a very nice thing! Elisabetha was very kind and very welcoming. We were able to walk to the lake, but you have to be careful because the street has no sidewalk. Thank you for this trip! I would 100% recommend this listing! Feel free to book!

Great place to stay in Gravedona. Everything was within walking distance. Check-in was very nice. Even in bad weather, the apartment is worth it as it offers a great view from the bedroom and from the balcony.

The accommodation "Sweet Memories" made our stay at Lake Como perfect. The apartment is very nicely decorated, absolutely clean and easily accessible. You feel comfortable from the first moment. Gravedona itself is a fantastic town – quiet, charming and with magnificent views of the lake. We would like to highlight the hosts Carlos and Valentino, who were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. You can tell right away that they care about the well-being of their guests. We highly recommend "Sweet Memories" and would be happy to come back!
