Great place, I would rexcomend to anyone. The house is comfortable, big and well stocked with amenities..as well as a full kitchen.
An open living area features high wooden ceilings and large windows that allow natural light to fill the space. A comfortable black sofa is positioned next to a wooden table, while a television is mounted on a light brick wall. A cozy sleeping area is visible through an archway.

A beautiful house families and groups of friends

Staff was very helpful as he came over to help us with operating the APPLIANCES. Host also cleared the garbage for us as we were staying for an extended period. Accommodation itself was spacious and clean. It was also very convenient as there is a clothes dryer. The kitchen was well stocked with tableware and cutlery for us to cook our dinner. There's also a nearby Seicomart if we just want some convenience.

Maruko was a wonderful host. It was a cold and rainy day when we arrived and the heater was left on so we wouldn’t be cold. The place was very clean (rooms, kitchen, bathroom), as described in the listing. We had a wonderful time staying and would definitely recommend.
A sleek coffee machine is placed on a smooth wooden surface, featuring a modern, curvy design in black and white. Nearby, a box of Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee pods is visible, labeled 'Regular Blend.' Instruction materials are partially seen in the background.

Limited to one group per day! This accommodation is close to Asahikawa Airport, which has a great view of the great outdoors

Had an early flight to catch therefore I chose an accommodation that’s near the airport. Very comfortable place, check in was easy. All good thank you!
A spacious room with tatami flooring and sliding shoji doors allows natural light to filter through. Wooden paneling creates a harmonious atmosphere, while a ceiling light provides additional illumination. The room's minimalist design encourages relaxation and simplicity.

民宿やまのほ

The hosts are very kind and responsive. They offered to pick us up from the station and also drove us around the area, as we came without a car. We traveled with a small child, which was no problem. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook. We also ordered the delicious dinner, that the host offers and delivers directly to the place for an additional price. We can further recommend the Shirataki Geopark Visitors Center and their exhibition on Obsidians. They offer workshops to make different things. If you are interested in Aikido, the founder Morihei also lived in Shirataki. A remote, naturesque and interesting place we can only recommend!
