House is very clean and much larger than the pictures shown. We would defianly stay here again.

Benjamin was beyond expectations. He was so friendly. Communication was amazing. And was so understanding. We went for a weekend softball tournament. Place was so nice, pool was a plus. Couldn’t thank him enough for the best stay. Will be back in a later future!

We were in Lafayette under difficult circumstances. Our family needed a place to be together, and this was the perfect home away from home. With everything we needed to quickly settle in, communication with our host quick, helpful, and compassionate, the thoughtful effort of timeless art exhibited in this home is top rated.

Great place to stay, the house was very clean, with great smells throughout. Bedding was comfortable. The pool was perfect, large yard the front porch was relaxing and serene and the host was very responsive. Will definitely book this property again next time we are in the area.

Great space for our family trip. We were in Lafayette to visit family and the house was perfectly size for our family to stay (4 adults, 5 kids, 1 baby). Everyone had plenty of space and that was in the main house. Overall it was a great value and perfect for our family Thanksgiving trip.

Our party of 8 were extremely comfortable. The beds were so comfy. The house had been totally renovated and was welll appointed. The weather was stifling. But the AC was really cold and felt so good when you walked in. The pool was a good size and the neighborhood was a nice residential area. We felt extremely safe. I was disappointed in the quality of their knives (very dull). The only downside. We did have an occasion to communicate with our hosts. They were always quick to respond. We had a great time. Thank you Daniel and Sydney.

The house is beautiful and very accommodating. The kitchen is fully stocked and we wish we would have had more time to use it. The covered porch and lounge area by the pool was very relaxing after a long day. There were lots of floats and toys for the pool. Our three kiddos loved the house as much as we did. Will definitely be renting from Paul again who responded very quickly and kept in touch throughout our stay. 10/10 highly recommend renting this place!!

This beautiful home was perfect for an intimate family gathering. My husband and I exchanged our vows in the beautiful garden and entertained our family for the weekend. There was more than enough room for everyone and they all enjoyed staying in such a charming, historical home. Kitchen is ideal if you love to cook and the family room right off of it was the perfect gathering spot.

My wife is a Harry Potter freak and I found this place for us to get away to for the weekend. First off, how have we never heard of this gem!? It’s not far from where we live and a must stay if you’re into Harry Potter. The attention to detail was amazing. My wife would point out little small things that she noticed throughout our 3 day stay. Jennifer was a fantastic host and we can’t wait to see what is in store with the double decker bus. Everything was a 10/10 and we will definitely be back.

Nice Home in a very quiet neighborhood. Very close to just about everything you'd want to do in the area. The host is also very friendly and responsive if you need anything. Will return in the near future.

Beautiful home with a big front porch and magnificent magnolia tree. Good location you can walk downtown from here.. kitchen has everything you can think of but you might have to hunt for some stuff.

This place was absolutely fantastic. It was better than we ever expected and had everything we needed. We attended a wedding at the church 3 blocks away, and it was very convenient being only minutes away. The house was very spacious, the beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay!

We’ve had good luck with some really nice Airbnb’s, but Chelsea’s place is the absolute best we’ve stayed at because it is the total package of everything you’re looking for. It has plenty of space, privacy, is totally well-outfitted, has a great layout and furnishings, a nice outdoor space, easy parking, easy access for loading and unloading, plus close proximity to groceries, gas, the downtown area and the University of Louisiana. The communication with the hosts was fabulous, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. We’re already looking at the calendar to plan a return trip for the fall! If you book this place, my only suggestion would be to maybe pack a couple of extra chairs for the back deck. We had them with us and really relaxing in the outdoor space our entire week.

Overall 10/10. I’m a Louisiana native and know the area well, but this place would be consider a hidden gem. Overall, the host was responsive, proactive in his approach and clear and concise on check-in, expectations and the entire process was a breeze. D&S marketed, represented and maintained this place well. Also, as a “neat freak” I appreciate the small details of the cleanliness, neatness and organization of everything. Not a singe complaint about anything. Anytime I’m visiting home, this is my first place I’m checking its availability.

Everything was wonderful at Matty’s place! It was spotless and nicely decorated. (I feel like every day we stumbled upon another piece of art or stylish decor we hadn’t seen before! ) We had everything we needed and especially appreciated the laundry detergent and other items provided for our convenience. I love that it was close enough to walk or run into downtown every day and explore the history and local art Lafayette has to offer. We branched out and visited Avery Island (home of Tabasco and jungle gardens/bird sanctuary ), the AcadianVillage , and Rip van Winkle gardens - all within a reasonable drive! It was nice to come back to relax in the spacious house or on the covered porch after a day of exploring. The office space was nice for my mom as she had to do a little work while we were there and internet worked fabulously. Thank you, Matty for hosting us!

My colleagues and I had a great time at Five Oaks Farms! We enjoyed coffee on the rocking chairs with the chickens in before and after our work days. The house and beds were very comfortable, everything was clean and lots of little attentions everywhere. Great morning farm eggs too. Thank you, we will be back!

The home and space is lovely. Great location to walk to downtown. The only draw back is the road and train near by can be very loud at night.

This is a great option in Lafayette. It looked exactly as the photos. I am pretty particular and found it incredibly clean and tidy. I really appreciated the pack and play, booster seat and children’s cups that were available. The location is a little isolated but a short ride to anything you may need. Jeffrey was a great communicator. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place! Our family really enjoyed our stay in this cozy little house which we wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely the best place to stay in the Breaux Bridge area. My girlfriends and I get together periodically!! We all met in Lafayette at 17 years old, freshmen at U of L (USL) at the time!! We decided to spend our time enjoying the Festival International in Lafayette!! I found this wonderful AirBNB for our stay!! At our initial booking to the moment of our last day, Frances responded to ALL and ANY of our messages!! Her home is SUPER CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE!!! I highly recommend!! Thanks again Frances!! Very relaxing and peaceful stay right along the bayou. We loved the character and decor of the space. The hot tub and the dock outside were nice amenities. Beds were super comfortable and there is an oversized claw foot tub and plenty of hot water. Pet friendly and plenty of room for dogs to run. A couple of drawbacks to consider…the AC generally works well, but the bathroom does get uncomfortably hot in the afternoon and early evening. Additionally, the wifi wasn’t the strongest. Finally, it is very much an old barn and not all the doors and windows seal well, so you may get a couple of 6 or 8-legged visitors during your stay. Par for the course in rural Louisiana, but good for anyone squeamish to be aware of. Overall a great spot and would stay again.
