Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Schwyz

Even though we arrived later than the originally scheduled check-in time, the host was very worried that we wouldn't be able to find the house and waited for us until check-in. The host is very kind and thoughtful. The condition of the accommodation is impeccable, and the scenery is even more amazing. (Actually, I talked about it just because of the scenery. It looks like a composite even though I'm looking at it with my eyes.) I was really satisfied with the sauna facilities. It can be difficult to find if the surroundings are too dark, so pay attention to the check-in time! If you're late like us, you'll have a hard time. 6 out of 5! The three of us originally just wanted to book a stay near Schwyz with a few separate bedrooms for hiking around Stoos and Rigi. We casually chose this place, but it far exceeded our expectations! Just as my companions were complaining about feeling a bit jaded after three days of sightseeing around Interlaken and Grindelwald, the stunning scenery along the winding mountain road to the village of Sattel still took our breath away. Upon arrival, Sonja and Marcel warmly welcomed us with a detailed room tour, carefully explaining how to use each facility. The entire house was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful little touches both inside and out, reflecting the hosts’ great taste :). If our travel plans weren’t already set, we would have loved to stay for a couple more days! If I ever visit the area again, this would definitely be my top choice. Our two days in Sattel were truly unforgettable. Thanks Sonja and Marcel for making our trips better!

This place was beautiful! It’s such a peaceful spot with amazing views of the lake and quite accessible to lots to do (assuming you have a car). Everything was very clean and it felt brand new. The amenities were great, there was even a washer/dryer! Everything is automated - lights, AC, blinds. For Europe, having AC in the summer is a must and was really important to us, so we were glad that it worked seamlessly. Riad was also a great host, communicated very well and responded promptly.

we loved our stay at Martin's house! the views are beautiful, it's very peaceful, and the house was as described and comfortable for us and our 1 year old. Martin provided very clear instructions and was very thoughtful - we would happily recommend this Airbnb to anyone and hope to return one day!

Amazing Chetal. A great place to unwind and enjoy the nature. Views are amazing and the surroundings are scenic. The views are even better than the pictures posted on this listing. The drive is a little steep and narrow for last 4 kms but it's worth every bit. There's a cable car around the corner if you need to go down to Sattel village and also an outdoor play area "Rondos" at walkable distance. The kids spent one full day at Rondos while the adults had a good time relaxing at the restaurant near by. Overall a great place to stay if around the area and I must say the people in the area are very friendly and welcoming.

Located in a quiet area. Equipped with all necessary appliances, from kitchen utensils to games/books for children. Very pleasant for family stays. I recommend it!

Beautiful place with amazing views over Sihlsee and to the mountains. Three terraces so plenty of options for enjoying a coffee or dinner outside. Picture window by dining table so you're able to enjoy the view even if it's chillier. Well appointed and comfortable.

Excellent, cozy , peaceful, with all amenities including basic cooking ingredients like oil, salt, pepper, spice mix, cofee, milk.

It is a mountain apartment so don't expect luxury, but it has everything you need for a group of friends to stay overnight.

I had the best stay in years. Beautiful ´house´ on a beautiful place. Martin and Heike immediately made me feel welcome. Everything you wish for was present , I lacked nothing. There was more than enough room for me and my dog. I definitely will come back to explore more!

I spent 3 wonderful and relaxing days in Tamara's apartment. If you are looking for peace, rest, me time, walking to the lake, this is the place for you. The apartment is lovingly decorated, very cozy, with cute decorations and many books, just to feel comfortable. Tamara is a very kind and helpful hostess. Tamara's massages are highly recommended! And also great the sauna in the bathroom.😃 Stay with Tamara is highly recommended. I can't wait to stay here again for a few days😊

We had a wonderful week at the Rigi. The chalet is in a great location, quiet and with a great view, yet you are quickly in the village shop or at the train station. Sandra is friendly and easily accessible, as well as extremely helpful even with special requests! We will be happy to come back.

Amazing! This place is great, peaceful and well decorated. You have your own private patio, with a fire pit. You also have a private parking. The appartement is just perfect, even better than the picture. The host is also great, really nice and did everything to make our stay wonderful. I would highly enjoy comming back!

In the tiny house you can completely relax surrounded by nature. The village is also great for hiking. You have everything you need. You can buy fresh products in the farm's own store. Very familiar atmosphere. Breakfast is put together by the hosts themselves, very tasty!

The house is located in a super location where there is no noise and no neighbors nearby. We spent 4 days in this house in the middle of April, the weather was fine, we served the table outside, walked a lot, bathed in a warm bathroom that stands in the courtyard. It snowed on the last day and it was beautiful too. Many thanks to the hosts who were always in touch and always promptly answered questions. I also want to note that the house is very functional and it is convenient that you can buy essential products on the spot.

****Exceeded our expectations****h the view are absolutely amazing . Ralf was very responsive and very welcoming. Wish we could have spent more time but needed to move on with our travel plans. Would definitely recommend, loved the personal touch of the very cosy chalet.

Marc is a fantastic host. The accommodation is a typical Swiss mountain hut with tradition, which we really liked. The arrival was comfortable, the cabin is easy to reach. Thanks Marc, we will be happy to come back.

Beautiful Maiensäss, where we enjoyed 3 quiet days. The rooms and facilities are very nicely done and everything you need is there. The cool rainy days offered the opportunity to fire up the stoves, which contributed a lot to the cozy cottage feeling. If you like the modern and still look for simplicity, this is the place to be. We would come back in a heartbeat.
