Right on the edge of the forest is our new house 'uncle blue'. It is lovingly built and furnished. The house is built from the wood of our own forest and our employees made sure it meets the high standards of insulation and Energy savings everybody seeks. It's quiet as a mouse in the house. Our idea "locally from tree to house" has been fulfilled here, with hardly any transport costs. We cut down the tree, cut the trunks into planks, boards and beams, dry the wood and then build the houses. The journey from tree to house only covers a few hundred meters. Our aim is quality and the house is furnished with antiques and artefacts to create a homely and cozy atmosphere. The house is situated in the tiny village of Troja (about 12 people live there) bordering directly onto a large forest in the middle of the 'Mecklenburger Seenlandschaft' Uncle Blue has 140 square meters, spread over 4 bedrooms, which can accommodate up to 6 people. There are two spacious bedrooms offering 160 cm wide beds and the 'children's bedroom' which has two single beds. There are two bathrooms with showers and toilets,a fully equipped kitchen which is connected to the dining and living room. In the downstairs bathroom you will find a washing machine. In the living room you can relax in front of a wood burning stove with sufficient amounts of wood. From the kitchen you look out onto the former water pond of the village and in the near future we plan to restore it with a small trail and some benches to relax on.you can purchase venison from our shoot and even request an evening on a hide. You can spend hours in the woods hiking without meeting another soul or go fishing in the little enchanted 'Schwarzen See' among hundreds of birch trees . You can take long bike rides with hundreds do bike trails leading you through the 'Mecklenburger Schweiz'. If you we let it happen you will get taken in by the great silence which exists here and if the night is clear you can marvel at the starry night which can be quite spectacular. Or you can just sit at twilight in front of the burning stove and relax reading a nice book. All we want to achieve is that you relax.
“Very clear recommendation: friendly house, great location for nature lovers, beautiful (old) wooden furniture, meticulous cleanliness, well-equipped kitchen and child-friendly equipment (high chair, sandpit, swing, stair gate, cuddly toys, games for inside and outside). We were with seven people plus baby in the house and everyone had enough space to feel really comfortable, enough rooms, showers and space at the dining table. We were also there in January, but it was still cozy and warm. We would have preferred to have stayed a while longer, that's how comfortable we felt. We will definitely come back again.”
The romantic apartment is located in the south of the Mecklenburg Lake District in a built in 1898 and listed as a former station building in Schwarz OT Buschhof.
“I spent two wonderful days in Buschhof and was able to relax very well there. The forest is right next door and even the weather was fine. Long walks, reading books in front of the fireplace, calm and fresh air, a cozy bed. Moritz is a very personable and courteous host who gave me tips on the hiking trails and also took the time to tell me about the old Buschhofer train station. The old photos had made me curious and especially what Moritz made of the old listed house is really worth seeing. I will come back!”
In the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District and alone at the lake Here in this sparsely populated lake landscape created by the Ice Age with its bogs and extensive forests you can experience nature in its most beautiful form. Far away from all the hustle and bustle. Start directly at the house with the in-house rowing boat or electric motor in the solitude of your environment. Fish your dinner behind the house. Jump into the water immediately after the sauna, as and when you want.
“The house is furnished with great attention to detail and thus provides a very cozy and idyllic atmosphere. The hosts are very helpful, open and friendly. Everything went very smoothly. We felt very comfortable and would definitely spend our holidays there again. The house is picturesquely situated on a lake. The nature on your doorstep.”
