Buitenhuysje de Roos has recently been completely renovated and wonderfully quiet. The cottage is small but nice, about 55m2 and has 3 bedrooms. In 2022, our cottage has been renovated, with a new bathroom, kitchen and cast floor. There is a fireplace and fine wooden veranda, where you sit very private, with beautiful views. Within 5 min. you drive to Bergen or Schoorl, where you can find supermarkets, nice shops and catering. The dunes and the forest are within walking distance and by bike you can reach the beach in 20 min.

Welcome to our wonderful holiday home located in the beautiful town of Schoorl within walking bike distance of the forest the dunes and the sea. The house, completely renovated in 2020, is detached, has its own entrance, a small garden to the south with a cozy canopy. The cozy living room has French doors to the sunny terrace, an open kitchen with dishwasher and oven, one bedroom and a bathroom. There are 2 fine bicycles with gears for rent at the cottage.

I was very pleased with the entire booking and the stay on site. We weren't there for long, as we were on a fishing trip all over Holland and only used the accommodation for sleeping. However, the accommodation invites you to stay longer. Small cozy garden and you can use the barbecue. The cottage is sufficiently equipped with everything you need. The rooms are a bit small, but if you don't mind, you can have a nice time there.

Sunny cottage near dunes, forest and beach

We stayed for 1 week. The last few meters to the cottage are only accessible on foot, but that is manageable. Otherwise you have everything you need and the garden also invites you to relax :) We were there with our 1.5 year old daughter, who also liked it. Yvonne had provided a small play kitchen for them, which was in use every day. In good weather, you occasionally have a few roaring motorcycles on the country road, but that was within limits. All in all we had a nice and relaxing vacation :)

You must hike at Schoorlse Duinen, it is so beautiful there. It is best to hike with the komoot app, because the area is very large. The location is also cute. The accommodation is great, a large house for you alone. My favorite is the bathtub in the garden/balcony. We will be happy to come back again🙃.

Beautiful, renovated house. Nice, large bathroom and spacious garden. Nice area, close to climbing dune and beach. Quiet street. The only thing we missed were screens in front of the windows and back door, which saves flies and mosquitoes inside.

A charming building is presented with a unique polka dot exterior, featuring a mix of white and red. Outdoor seating is available with wooden tables and black chairs. An awning provides shade and a welcoming space for guests, while a stone pathway leads to the entrance.

We had a wonderful stay at this super cozy place which was exactly as described in the advertisement. Everything was lovingly furnished and very clean – a real feel-good place. Particularly positive is the weekly cleaning service: the cleaning lady came regularly, cleaned thoroughly and changed bed linen and towels – really great! The surroundings around Warmenhuizen are fantastically beautiful and the beach is close by. A highlight was also the cafe right below the property – there are super tasty food and great drinks. We were completely satisfied and would definitely be happy to come back!
