Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Schneizlreuth

It was beautiful decorated, spacious, quiet, and welcoming. Communication was excellent. Well worth the fee and we only wish we could have stayed longer.

A quiet, peaceful, comfortable cottage near a small farm, the place has a lot of charm and a rustic feel to it. You can see the Austrian alps from the living room window. We felt very safe and secluded here, and there’s ample room for 1-2 cars. Josef and Helga, our hosts, made us feel very welcome right from the start. The village is walkable, and offers a couple of restaurants and a live theatre, and is less than 1/2 hour drive from Salzburg and all that this lovely, historical city has to offer. Whether your interests are hiking, history, museums, castles or even a 500 year old salt mine, this home in Holzhausen is a great place to stay.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel right at home. The house is fantastic for a family and Roxana is an incredible host. she had arranged our public transport tickets that allowed us to catch the bus from the end of the street into Salzburg. She also surprised our 10 year old with balloons and decorations upon arrival for his 10th birthday. We loved our stay at Roxana's house, it was amazing.

We had a lovely time staying here and exploring Salzburg! It was really easy to find the place and get inside - Ray's instructions were very clear and helpful! It's really easy to get to the city centre and the central train station which meant exploring the city and it's surroundings was simple! Ray was very communicative and ready to answer any questions we had! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again next time we visit Salzburg!

Wir (3 Erwachsene + 1 Kind) haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war sehr gemütlich und hatte alles was man brauch. Absolut ruhige Lage. Die Gastgeber Familie war sehr freundlich. Teisendorf ist ca. 5min mit dem Auto entfernt. Ein toller Standort, um verschiedene Ziele in der Region anzusteuern. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

De passage en Bavière pour un road trip familial, nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Anna. Le logement était te propre, parfaitement équipé et localisé dans un environnement très calme. Idéal pour se reposer après une bonne randonnée. Je te recommande vivement !

Die Unterkunft von Conni und Georg ist einfach fantastisch! Erstmal sind die beiden ganz tolle Gastgeber, die super hilfbereit und freundlich sind! Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen und können uns sehr gut vorstellen nochmal genau an diesen tollen Ort zu fahren! Das Ferienhaus ist sehr hochwertig ausgestattet und einfach eine tolle Urlaubsoase mitten im Grünen! Es war super sauber und gepflegt! Es ist alles im Haus, was man so braucht, sei es Handtücher und Bettwäsche, aber auch alles, was man so in der Küche braucht. Generell ist es sehr kinderfreundlich! Wir hatten einfach eine ganz großartige Zeit hier! ❤️

Amelie's place was spacious, clean, and had all the necessary amenities that a family could ask for. The lake view is simply amazing. You could spend the entire day at the apartment and unwind looking at the lake. Amelie was a very good host.

Franziska's guest apartment is delightful! We found everything we needed! We relished the coziness of the kitchen and great room, which were conducive to visiting, contemplation, yoga, and soothing window views. We valued the separate WC and lavatory. The entire apartment is comfortably spacious and functional, with ample hooks and storage nooks for things we like to bring. Surpassing the exceptional nature of the guest apartment is its responsive, caring, competent, and helpful owner, Franziska! She is friendly and engaging but not intrusive. Her sensitivity and professional knowledge of hospitality are evident in every detail. For us, her decorating and keen management of her guest apartment created a feeling of an inviting home away from home. We couldn't have been happier. We believe Franziska is an infinity Super Host, and we thank her for creating an environment conducive to our total relaxation and enjoyment. We have but one regret, two weeks wasn't an extended enough stay!

The apartment was beautiful. The views were great from everywhere in the home. The beds were the best I’ve slept on since being in Europe for over a year. The kitchen supplies for cooking were great and easy to use. The only drawback back was since we are not accustomed to how the TV and cable works we were never able to get it to turn on. But the WiFi was great so we just watched movies on our iPads. The apartment was pretty centrally located to where we wanted to go and there were lots of books and pamphlets on attractions in the area. I would only recommend the owners place an informational book or guide in the home for anyone not from Austria. Otherwise the apartment was amazing and worth it.

Das Haus ist sehr urig und wir haben uns sofort sehr wohlgefühlt. In der Wohnung ist alles, was man braucht. Beim Regen abends haben wir dann den Ofen angemacht und es uns richtig gemütlich gemacht. Die Betten sind bequem und man hat eine sehr schöne Aussicht. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Es ist ein Juwel, wenn man alte Häuser mag.

By far the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in, the host went above and beyond! It’s a perfect place for a small family (very baby friendly). Lubica provided everything you could ever want or need. The space was clean and organized. The location was peaceful and a short drive into the city. I would recommend this Airbnb to everyone, it was perfect and you could tell the host takes a lot of pride in providing her guests with an amazing experience. I hope to return soon!

Es war einfach nur wunderbar. Das alte Bauernhaus ist ein Gesamtkunstwerk und von der Gastgeberin Sabine, die Restauratorin und Kirchenmalerin ist, perfekt instant gehalten. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und der Abschied viel schwer. Vielen Dank liebe Sabine für den herzlichen Empfang, wunderschönen Aufenthalt und die tollen Tipps. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen! Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Rolf empfangen. An Ausstattung fehlte nichts. Tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants waren inklusive. Wir könnten noch soviel positives schreiben - es war einfach Rundum perfekt! Wir sind sehr glücklich über die Entscheidung und freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen! :)

Last minute geboekt en bij toeval beschikbaar. Prachtige villa van alle gemakken voorzien, vloerverwarming in de woon/eetkamer, heerlijke sauna en ruime jacuzzi, goede bedden, vlak bij de piste en op 12 minuten rijden van Katschberg höhe. Met 8 volwassenen en een kind van 7, meer dan voldoende ruimte. Ook aan te raden in het voorjaar, zomer of herfst seizoen. Wij komen in ieder geval nog graag een keer terug.

Our stay at Roman’s. Was great. 😊 it’s a big home with plenty of room. The pool was fun and the place was nice and clean!! Roman was a great host and responded to questions very quickly!!

Wir waren super zufrieden mit der tollen Unterkunft. Unkomplizierter Check-In und Check-Out. Zu Beginn haben wir eine Führung durchs Haus bekommen und danach konnten wir auch schon den ruhigen Garten und den schönen Ausblick von dem Terrassen-Balkon genießen. Highlight war die Möglichkeit, die traumhafte Grillhütte paar Fahrminuten entfernt zu nutzen. Meine Schwester war auch sehr glücklich über den Wellnessbereich im Keller vom Haus 👌🏻

Es war viel schöner als auf den Fotos... solltet ihr echt neue machen! Es war richtig toll, sauber, mega ausgestattet, top Zustand, sehr gute Kommunikation. wir waren Rund um glücklich. vielen Dank wir kommen wieder

Wir hatten Anfang Mai 2025 einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Landhausvilla von Angela, Joy, Klaus und Tequila (dem Wachhund). Wir sind mit sechs Personen (Oma, Opa, Mama, Papa und unseren erwachsenen Söhnen), sowie unserem Familienhund Blixa angereist. Die Landhausvilla hat einen besonderen Charme, ist sehr hochwertig und vollständig ausgestattet und alle Räume sind supersauber vorbereitet gewesen. Alles was wir für unseren 2-wöchigen Aufenthalt benötigten, war vorhanden und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. An den kälteren Abenden haben wir den gemütlichen Ofen angefeuert und z.B. auf dem großen TV im Wohnzimmer gemeinsam den ESC 2025 geschaut. Wir wurden von Joy mit einem österreichischen Schweinsbraten und Feuer im Kamin sowie im Ofen begrüßt ! Da sich nicht nur Tequila und Blixa gut verstanden haben, hat Joy uns drei Mal ein wunderbares Abendessen gezaubert. Das war wirklich toll ! Für uns das perfekte Ferienhaus und wir können dieses Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen !

Perfecte locatie en zeer mooi verblijf. Perfect voor een skitrip, hou er alleen rekening mee dat je kort moet rijden naar één van de nabijgelegen skistations, en dat dat skibus niet meteen in de straat voorbijkomt. Maar als je een auto hebt is het allemaal perfect te doen. Zeker aan te raden!

Für viele Gäste mit Haustier (Hund) perfekt geeignet. Eigenes Haus und Gartenlaube, bei schönem Wetter sehr schön. Aufladen von E-Auto mit Wallbox sehr einfach und direkt beim Vermieter zu zahlen. Mitten in der Natur, sehr ruhig und sehr schöner Blick ins Tal, die Berge, auf den Dom und St. Johann. Die Küche ist mit allem was benötigt wird ausgerüstet.

Auch wenn wir nur zwei Tage Zeit hatten, hat sich unser Aufenthalt richtig gelohnt. Barbara war eine sehr gute Gastgeberin und erklärte alles ausführlich aus der Ferne. Auch die Wohnungsübergabe durch ihre Tochter hat super geklappt. Das Haus an sich war wie beschrieben und liegt traumhaft nur ein Paar Minuten mit dem Rad von Chiemsee entfernt in einem kleinen Dorf am Waldrand. Ideal für Menschen, die Ruhe suchen oder mit dem Rad/zu Fuß die wunderschöne Gegend genießen wollen. Wir werden lange an dieses Wochenende zurückdenken!
