Family-friendly vacation rentals in Scandicci

Our stay was a dream to be in. Francesca and Francesco have created a wonderful place, are likeable people and great hosts. We were warmly welcomed and received all the necessary information. From the first moment, we felt at home and could freely explore the lovingly designed grounds and also enjoy them in privacy. The contact with other guests was also pleasant and respectful. The rooms are rustic and tastefully decorated and exude a special charm. The view will take your breath away. The approach to Poderracio is correspondingly adventurous (hairpin bends and narrow, bumpy road). All products such as the breakfast basket are super delicious and of high quality. In addition, we received freshly harvested vegetables (zucchini, beets, onions and garlic) from Francesca. During the stay, we were invited to bake pizza together in the private rooms and enjoyed a wonderful evening. THANKS!

We had an absolute perfect stay in Salverio and Lorenzo's flat. It was incredibly spacious - very unusual to have a 3 bedroom/3 bath flat to rent in such a highly sought after part of Firenze. The decor was a perfect blend of antiques and art mixed with contemporary furnishings. Having a washer/dryer was a fantastic addition. Our favorite part of the flat was the rooftop terrace at sunset. You feel like you are on top of all of Firenze looking across the buildings. The duomo view was breathtaking. It was magical and truly stunning. The location could not be more suitable for proximity to all of the sights and indulge in luxury shopping. Salverio and Lorenzo were so helpful and accommodating. We will most assuredly be back! Thank you to you both!

Incredible trip. Paola and Michele were so friendly and welcoming. Always there to give advice and make sure you had everything you needed. The little converted hay barn was just beautiful and lovely. Location wise it just couldn’t be beaten. The garden was amazing and we ate outside morning and night, easy access to amazing Tuscany countryside and also a short trip on the train to Florence from Montevarchi. Loved every minute we were there and we were sorry to leave. Would highly recommend.

If I could move in here permanently, I would. What a gorgeous stay with responsive and respectful hosts. Everything was as described, the hot tub was glorious, and we loved looking through the binder of photos of painstaking restoration over the years.

Incredible home, with stunning views! I hosted a group of friends here before my wedding, and we all agreed it was the most beautiful Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The hosts (Francesco and his wife Illaria) were extremely responsive and kind. They recommended a local chef to us, which turned into one of the best nights of our trip. 100% recommend and will be re-booking next time I travel to Tuscany.

I can not say enough about Alessandra and her amazing land! It was the most magical place we have ever been to. We are taking a 3 month trip, hitting up 21 cities in Europe and this is BY far the best! She was so kind and took us shopping and back to our train! She was always there when we needed her.thank you Alessandra we will see you next year!

Incredible stay and Bernardino and his family were incredibly welcoming and pleasant. They helped us check in later and were there to help us with any questions we had. Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful Tuscan retreat.

Wow-10 days spent at Alec's villa and could have stayed longer! The age and beauty of this place makes you feel transported back in time. From the stone walls, the detailed wall paintings, furniture and decor, to the solid doors easily hundreds of years old... We spent hours just speaking of it's history. The house is clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for our family of 8. It is situated on a small family vineyard at the top of an incredibly windey road. There outdoor space was safe/secluded for my kids. The hill made for wonderful beautiful views and sunrise. However, as with much of Tuscany, we were glad our rental cars weren't too big! The closest town is 5 minutes away and has a few restaurants... Though not somewhere you can have coffee or walk the streets. About 15 minutes away is San Casciano where you can find coffee shops, restaurants, stores etc. Alec is a perfect host... helpful, responsive, and answered dozens of questions weekly. Book dinner at A Casa Mia for sure!

We stayed at Flora House as a family trip with my parents and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is very well equipped, and we really enjoyed cooking meals together with fresh ingredients from the host’s farm. It was a great place to unwind and spend quality time as a family. Highly recommended!

We immediately fell in love with this property. Everything here makes up the image that can be made of the beautiful Tuscan countryside. At the top of the hill overlooking the valley, the view is splendid and romantic. The property has been renovated with today's comforts while retaining its soul of yesteryear. You feel good there, the energy is beneficial, nature, animals, everything is in harmony! The welcome, Oscar's cooking, the superb swimming pool, the shaded terrace, the hearty homemade breakfasts! It's more than a favorite, this place is a gem! We'll be back!

We loved our stay at La Presura. The place is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The pool is a big advantage in this very hot month of June. The host at the reception was very nice and the glass of wine offered on arrival was very much appreciated. We would recommend it without hesitation. Thank you!

We stayed here for a few nights and had a fantastic time! The views were amazing, and the place was very spacious and clean. Lapo was fantastic - really helpful, even picking us up and dropping us back off at the bus stop. We'd highly recommend!

We come from Hong Kong, and a building like this is not often seen there. We are very happy to have had the chance to stay at the house. Some of the details in the house really impressed us, especially the antique furniture! Pietro is a great host—very friendly and responsive. I had some pleasant conversations with him. Thanks again!

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful Airbnb which was thoughtfully restored to reflect the history of the area. You won’t want to leave. We explored Certaldo Alto and Montefioralle- both amazing sites. The pool area was perfection and we couldn’t get enough of the landscape! Couldn’t stayed a week!!!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Daniela’s place - it was clean, had stunning views and was quick access to Pisa, Florence & Siena. Beautiful pool and lovely terrace with amazing views and sunsets. The kitchen also had everything we needed, including local olive oil and pasta & local wine as a welcoming gift. Daniela went above and beyond providing us with lilos and a pump for the pool too. Overall, 10/10 stay!

**Unforgettable Stay with Perfect Pool and Stunning Views** This BNB met our expectations during our family trip to Italy. The property was clean throughout, and the hosts went above and beyond with their hospitality - greeting us warmly in person and thoughtfully providing welcome snacks and a bottle of wine. The pool is absolutely perfect and became the centerpiece of our stay. Some of my most cherished memories from our entire Italy trip were spent relaxing by the pool with my family. The sunset views from the property are breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for our evenings. Both sisters who run this place are genuinely wonderful people who clearly care about their guests' experience. Their personal touch made our stay feel special and welcoming.

Christine and John were the best hosts, making this incredible location even more enjoyable. They went above and beyond, recommending restaurants, wineries and experiences that made our trip unforgettable. Christine also helped us get our lost luggage back, ringing the airport for us and liaising with a driver in Florence to pick it up and drop it off to us. Incredible service. Absolutely recommend!

Anna was a fantastic host, who treated us with the upmost respect and kindness. While her place is a bit difficult to find at first, once you're there, you're in one of the most beautiful scenes we've seen during our time in Italy. Also, it was close enough that we were still early able to travel into Florence each day we were there. Anna was so nice in providing us with breakfast each morning, which included apricot jam from her fruit trees and homemade bread. We would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet place to stay outside of the busy city.

Our stay with Silvia was very pleasant...very quiet, beautiful garden, swimming pool,...also Silvia, her husband, and children were extremely friendly..and helpful...nice base to visit all the surrounding larger cities..we had 10 beautiful days of leave in Empoli...definitely recommend..good value for money ! !

Eva's place is absolute heaven. We stayed for 10 days with our two small children (1 and 4) and had the most wonderful time. The apartment is perfect – beautifully decorated with everything catered for. The outside garden and terrace is great for eating with amazing views. And the pool is also wonderful – we had it to ourselves the whole time we were there. We couldn't recommend this place more! Thank you, Eva and family!

Rafaella's place was nothing short of amazing! We had such a great time her place had everything you could need and more. She and her husband were super responsive. My only wish is that I wish it was warmer so that we could have enjoyed their beautiful outdoor space more. They even gave our girls sweet easter eggs. Amazing villa and location. Amenities were beautiful and restaurant was amazing. Plenty of parking and access. Great back yard and swimming pool for kids with amazing views.
