We have restored an ancient bread oven on our little farm to make a cosy retreat in a quiet corner of the Dordogne. The kitchen and bathroom combine modern fittings with ancient beams and stonework while the comfortable sitting room features a log burning stove and the original paddle for the old bread oven, found when we started the renovation work. It is an ideal base for an active holiday (many options nearby)but the nightlife consists of sharing the stars with the owls and a bottle of wine.

Outside a terrace with sun loungers to enjoy the view or in the evening the dark starry sky and a dining table with chairs for eating or playing a game. There is a heated pool and a half court tennis court for sporty effort. The surroundings are wonderful...

Very nice house,beautiful garden, beautiful countryside. Very well furnished kitchen. Sue was very flexible on check-in and check-out times. On the other hand, electricity problems, the meter skips a lot if too many appliances are on, among other things if the jacuzzi is plugged in . We will gladly return to this rental .

We spent the weekend of Pentecost in this pretty little accommodation, 3 nights in peace, evenings in the quiet of the large park with its picnic tables with birds and the frogs singing. Small cocoon full of charm, with all the essentials to stay a few days. Very nice welcome from Lucas and Charlotte and Locky 🐕

This was one of the best French gites we have ever stayed at. The finish inside and outside was very high quality, the design was beautiful and it was very well equipped throughout and also comfortable. Christelle, our host, was helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The setting is so private, the only noise you will hear is the birds singing and the cicadas doing whatever it is they do to make that noise that confirms you are on holiday! In a word - lovely!

I fell in love with this house!, they had absolutely everything you might need. A shop within walking distance and petrol station. The views are beautiful.
