Villa Franca

JudithRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved the warm greeting from Antonio's mother and her explanation of how the place worked and the delicious homemade cakes and jam! The garden is beautifully laid out and tended with spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. The house was insect-free with good fitting fly screens on all windows and shutters. The fire was already prepared and lit when we arrived in May and we used it throughout our stay in the evenings. Had it been warmer we would have used the outside kitchen area and barbecue. Our 5 night stay passed all too quickly and we would love to return and walk further in the Pollino National Park.

Casetta Arsieni

The property is surrounded by nature, greenery, away from the streets and chaos of the city. The ideal place for those fleeing city stress and looking for quiet places. And also cool for those like us who were fleeing the scorching heat of August. Antonio and his brother were very friendly, very kind and helpful. 100% recommended host... we'll be back.

House of the Stars – Castelmezzano

Spectacular views from this Airbnb, especially at night on the balcony. I really enjoyed my stay at Pierfeancesco / Antonello’s place. The kitchen was very useful because a lot of the restaurants were all booked during the weekend I visited Castelmezzano. Parking was challenging. But Pierfeancesco provided detailed instructions and a video. There are a lot of steps to climb in Castelmezzano to get to this Airbnb, so I recommend you find the place first and then bring your heavy luggage on a 2nd trip. Otherwise, I had a wonderful experience staying at Pierfeancesco / Antonello’s Airbnb. I definitely strongly recommend.

Spacious villa with garden and sea view

MonicaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The accommodation provided by Michele met our needs as we were 4 adults with three large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms; airy and cozy living room with a functional kitchen, to satisfy even large families. Some constructive criticism concerns the state of some furniture, the lighting to be fixed, a sense of disorder in the garden that is still not cared for (perhaps we were the first guests in a while) and other details that are easily curable and do not detract from the availability and sympathy of Michele and his wife. With this minimum adaptation, we had a great stay thanks to Michele's advice for excursions and dinners in the area and the availability of his boat. The strength is the house in a magnificent location and its tranquility, also favored by the period chosen for the vacation.
