Antonio is a great gentleman and took great care of us during our short stay. This is a really historical house built with solid stones. History happened here. Unfortunately we cannot stay for the full length of our stay because the rough stone stairs and stone walls are dangerous to our crawling baby. This property is better fitted for older kids. Antonio was gracious to give us a refund on the nights and helped us to move to a new location with late checkout (very late). He is always ready to help at any time. We are grateful with all his help.

Un logement très agréable, parfaitement équipé, dans un environnement paisible et très beau. Le jardin est magnifique. L'espace piscine est superbe. La communication avec Pedro a été très facile. L'accueil par Fatima très chaleureux. Et la bonne surprise du matin avec un excellent petit-déjeuner que nous a apporté Fatima (pâtisseries portugaises, jus d'orange pressé, etc) Un logement que nous recommandons sans hésitation. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine.

Pedro was a fantastic host who provided detailed airport directions, transportation advice, and was incredibly responsive throughout. He personally welcomed us upon arrival and made us feel right at home. The location was perfect - peaceful and quiet, exactly what we hoped for. The pool was amazing with stunning views and a natural feel that made it truly special. A delightful surprise was fresh bread from the local bakery delivered to our door each morning. When we requested additional bread, Pedro generously provided extra at no charge, showcasing his wonderful hospitality. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a thoughtful host, serene location, and beautiful amenities. Already looking forward to returning with my family!

Notre séjour à Casa Museu a été super malgré que nous n'y soyons demeuré qu'une seule nuit , nous nous souviendrons longtemps de l'endroit car le décor nous donne l'impression de revenir à une autre époque . Antonio et son équipe ont été d'une telle gentillesse, le déjeuner du matin offre un choix varié, tout est propre. Finalement je recommande cet endroit les yeux fermés . Merci

Paulo is a great host! He takes care of the Airbnb as his own home and really makes the guests feel welcome. The place (and the surroundings) look even better than the photos - we're even lucky enough to try the strawberries and olive oil he produces which was delicious :) Paulo was very responsive all the time and gave us a bunch of local restaurant recommendation

Manuel & Helena we're a pleasure to deal with. So friendly and patient when showing all the amenities. The house and property is just spectacular with beautiful views from the many lounging areas. lots of seating around the house and in the pool area. Pool had a great view also. House was great, clean and comfy. Make sure you have at least one meal in the wine cellar area, very cozy. The property is in the heart of the Douro Valley, close to lots to do, but you will want a car to get around. I would recommend this house for up to 3 couples or a family vacation. Except Douro has so much to offer I could have stayed for 2 weeks and never leave the property. Thanks again Helena & Manuel for all the tips for food and adventure. Só temos coisas positivas a dizer. A Lúcia e a Sandra são fantásticas, são de uma simpatia extrema. Sempre atentas às nossas necessidades. As instalações têm boas condições. Os quartos são muito limpos e espaçosos. É o lugar perfeito para quem quer uns dias de paz e sossego.

sehr schönes Ambiente, wie in einem kleinen Museum wie man früher wohnte. Tolle alte Möbel und viele Kunstwerke, Bilder und andere Nettigkeiten. Frühstück war nicht passend zum Ambiente. Pressschinken und Lidl Scheibenkäse, Marmelade und Butter wie im Krankenhaus. Lieblos und billig. Der Weg von der Strasse zum Haus ist allerdings eine echte Herausforderung, sowohl für Mensch wie auch für Maschine. Zu Fuss muss man aber auch sehr fit und ausbalanciert sein. Die Lage ist echt toll für Naturliebhaber, alles sehr ruhig und beschaulich und ein schöner Pool. Man lebt dort unter einer relativ armen Bevölkerung, Bauern und Hirten, von der Sonne und dem harten Leben gegerbt, aber alle lebensfroh. Annehmlichkeiten wie ein Geschäft oder Restaurant sucht man vergebens, aber wenn man dort Urlaub macht, will man das? Alles in allem, toll, nur am Frühstück, da ist noch viel Luft nach oben. Gerne ein paar Euro mehr fragen, aber dafür mit Klasse punkten.

Endroit parfait si vous avez le goût d’être dépaysé. Prévoir toutefois que le route est un peu longue et que la maison est assez éloignée de tout. Notre coup de cœur va à la jeune dame qui nous a servi à déjeuner. Excellent service!

Tivemos uma estadia maravilhosa na Casa da Geada! Fomos eu, o meu marido e a nossa bebé de 4 meses e ficámos apenas uma noite, mas foi o suficiente para nos apaixonarmos pelo lugar. A casa tem um ambiente muito especial — é uma casa-museu que pertencia a uma artista plástica, e sente-se em cada detalhe a alma e história do espaço. O exterior é absolutamente deslumbrante, com uma zona envolvente tranquila e uma piscina infinita. Ideal para quem quer desligar e desfrutar da natureza com conforto e inspiração à volta. A Sandra, a Lúcia e o Zé são pessoas incríveis, que nos receberam e fizeram-nos sentir em casa! Recomendamos vivamente, e esperamos voltar com mais tempo!

Séjour agreable dans un site magnifique et verdoyant. Les hôtesses présentent le matin étaient à nos petits soins et toujours aimables et souriantes. Nous recommandons sans hésiter ce gîte hors du temps. L et P.

A casa da Geada é incrível, foi uma estadia de 4 noites perfeita, com paisagens lindas e uma zona bastante calma onde a piscina se destaca pela vista que tem e ótima para refrescar nos dias de maior calor (como foi o nosso caso). A D. Sandra e a Lúcia são impecáveis e super atenciosas o que torna a estadia ainda melhor visto que nos fazem sentir em casa! Sem dúvida um local a voltar ❤️

This is one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. The house itself is tastefully designed, our suite is spacious, and there’s so much green space to lounge around. Even though we just have a suite, we get to share the large living space with another suite. There’s a comfortable working area as well as an upstairs play room, with musical instruments and a foosball table. Marie and Stephan took great care of us, always making sure we were comfortable. Marie prepared a beautiful breakfast every morning, with homemade French pastries, cakes, yogurt and juice. They truly made us feel welcomed — and you could tell it came from their heart.

Uma ótima experiência em Arouca! Espaço acolhedor, moderno e muito bem cuidado. Estúdio muito confortável e a kitchette é ideal para uma refeição rápida, depois dos Passadiços do Paiva. Serviço com atenção a cada detalhe. À chegada, fomos surpreendidos com os famosos doces conventuais de uma pastelaria local, o .Come. Estadia 5 estrelas! Sem dúvida uma experiência a repetir. Espaço muito bonito e de arquitectura bem integrada na paisagem. Cuidado nos pormenores e cama muito confortável. Todos os equipamentos de segurança e desinfeção preparados e de fácil acesso. As funcionárias, Bruna e Isabel, muito simpáticas e disponíveis, sempre atentas. A comunicação com a Vânia também correu muito bem e agradeço a atenção que teve. Recomendo vivamente!

Die Quinta ist ein fantastischer Ort zum Wohlfühlen! Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich nett, das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und super lecker. Das Haus ist sehr schön offen, lichtdurchflutet und ruhig gelegen. Dennoch gibt es auch separate Ecken, um sich zurück zu ziehen. Alles ist sehr sauber. Die Umgebung lädt zum Wandern oder Spazieren ein. Wer Städte besuchen möchte, nach Porto oder Aveiro ist es auch nicht weit. Wirklich rundum absolut empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank, dass wir eine fantastische Woche bei euch verbringen durften! Wir kommen hoffentlich wieder!

Adoramos, desde do espaço a decoração. Tudo bonito, organizado e com muito bom gosto. Máxima limpeza. Os anfitriões super prestáveis e simpáticos. Pequeno almoço muito bom. Desfrutamos de dois dias de paz, com uma piscina incrível. Vamos voltar de certeza Obrigada

Diese Unterkunft hat uns einen großartigen Abschluss unseres Roadtrips geschenkt! Wunderschöne saubere Unterkunft, liebenswerte Gastgeber und Empfang, unglaubliches Frühstück, toller Pool und alles nur 30min von Porto entfernt. Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber haben uns auf Nachfrage ein tolles Restaurant empfohlen, das war großartig, lecker, einheimisch. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht hier und hätten gerne mindestens noch eine dran gehangen. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!

Ons verblijf bij Marie was prachtig. Het huis is verrassend mooi en heel uniek. Het klein zwembad was uiteindelijk meer dan groot genoeg. Perfect voor een verfrissende dip. Alles is zeer netjes onderhouden. Maar boven alles, was het eten fenomenaal. Het ontbijt is enorm en alles, echt alles is zelfgemaakt van Marie. Wij aten er ook 3 avonden. Ook het diner was heerlijk en supergezellig zitten. Marie is een zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw waar je een gezellig praatje mee kan doen. Ten zeerste aan te raden!

Estadia incrível! O quarto super confortável e arejado. Espaço exterior sem palavras mesmo, bom sol e uma piscina maravilhosa. Ponto positivo é que tem estacionamento privado. Pequeno almoço foi incluído, e estava tudo muito bom. Parabens a este anfitrião! Voltarei sem duvida.
