Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Santiago

The place was spacious, way larger than the photos present. It was a lovely surprise. The house, community and host welcomed us as if we were family. The host was very communicative and helpful. The neighborhood is walkable, peaceful, safe, beautiful, with a beach up the road. There are restaurants around and stores walking distance. We are very lucky and grateful to have found this place and definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at this authentic little house in the Picos Valley. A peaceful place where simplicity reigns. In addition, Lina's little dishes delighted us. We discovered the traditional Cape Verdean cuisine. Lina is a discreet neighbor who cares about the well-being of hosts. Our children enjoyed accompanying her husband to feed the animals. In short, a place with a beautiful soul.

Nice stay. Paulo was very helpful. If there was anything, we could always reach him. Renting a car helped him a lot. All in all, I am super satisfied. And repeatable.

We enjoyed the quiet stay at Dinohelders place in the hills of Santiago. The house has a very tasty interior design and we felt at home from the beginning. The garden is beautiful with all the plants and the pergola is beautiful. People living around the area are super helpful and friendly. You'll see all kinds of farm animals around the property. There are nice hiking opportunities available right from the house. Thanks again for letting us stay at this beautiful place.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay with Maria, Osvaldo and their three lovely children. I had planned to come with a friend who cancelled on short notice. Despite this, I could spend a wonderful & memorable time in Calheta, thanks to Maria’s and Osvaldo’s great company and hospitality. They made me feel right at home, let me participate in their everyday life and showed me around. This was a special experience for me, I could not have asked for more. Their house is conveniently located, the apartment is spacious, the bed comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. Maria was always responsive. She was kind and patient with me, speaking slowly so that I could understand her Portuguese. I enjoyed this because I try to learn some Portuguese. Osvaldo also speaks English, so the communication went well, even though I just speak English & Spanish. I highly recommend their place and I would always stay with them again 🙏❤️. It was really great, Guillaume is very friendly and helpful. There are a few animals in the kitchen but everything is well closed, so that's not a problem. Great location with beach nearby! Spacious and nice apartment. We felt comfortable, thanks for this great stay

The apartment was even better than we expected, super clean, very spacious with a lovely interior. Carlos was super responsive and extremely helpful with what we needed and advising us on places to go, how to get around etc. 10/10 stay would definitely recommend :)

Lavinia was very responsive, answered all our questions and even in a special way, providing convenience to facilitate our stay. The parents we met nearby were also very pleasant, with ideas and suggestions about the city to discover.

Luis was responsive and a great host. He managed our transport from airport to accommodation. The place was really good for that price. Spacious and clean flat.

The stay was perfect. We enjoyed breakfast every morning. The accommodation is very large, with sea views and sunsets. The natural pools are a 30-minute walk away, and the pretty black sand beach is 10min away. The village is very cute and the locals very welcoming. Zeza responds to messages very quickly, and made our stay a lot easier by giving us information about the activities and she even booked us a day with a guide to hike in Serra Malagueta. Thanks again!

Pleasantly surprised by the accommodation. The host is just great, responsive and very friendly. The accommodation is neither. I recommend it!

My stay at Casa Riviera went very well. The accommodation was large and spacious, with a cute little terrace. It was clean and nice. Very advantageous point, there is an affordable car rental agency right in front which is great. I recommend taking a car for 3-4 days to visit the whole island at your own pace. The beach is about a 10-minute walk. I recommend it:) Also, there's a lot of grocery stores nearby so it's great. Restaurant point: there is a brunch nearby Adèle good value for money.

A GEM! The dream apartment! Super comfortable, very well decorated, accessible on foot or by car, close to the sea and restaurants. Erico is an incredible host, proactive, responsive, warm, welcoming and very available. Very small downside for the water pressure but Erico has the solution to this problem. Bravo again and thank you! I recommend it without so much as a second thought!

We enjoyed staying at Sandro's apartment, everything was very organized and clean. My daughter felt right at home, she was still able to watch Netflix and we enjoyed exploring the nearby restaurant where they sell the best “catxupa, couscous, as well as fresh bread and coffee” This place is highly recommended, especially if you are traveling with your family.

The house is very nice, very clean and tidy, close to a central avenue and with a shower that works. The kitchen is equipped with necessities. Maria was very attentive to everything, and helped us with all our questions. However, if you come in summer, it's quite hot and there's no air conditioning.

I highly recommend staying at Carlos, the flat is extremely clean and we felt super comfortable. The area is safe and restaurants nearby are delicious. Carlos is a very nice and friendly person.
