Vacation rentals with beach access in Santa Cruz la Laguna

I agree with all the previous reviews - can’t recommend Griselda and Antonio’s place high enough. San Pedro is loud ! And this is an oasis of calm yet walkable to the town and language school(s) we will defo be back.

We had a really nice stay here! The location is perfect, very calm neighborhood but still only a few minutes away from the city center. We would definitely stay here again, if we come back to Lake Atitlan!

Great place for a weekend away with my daughter. It’s about a 5 min walk to the lake where you can catch a boat to the other cities. We walked to the main part of town, which was about a 15-20 min walk and took a tuk-tuk on the way back, which we preferred. The place was clean and cozy and perfect for two. The host was very responsive when I had questions and let us leave luggage behind the LOCKED gate so we could go around town after check out without lugging it with us. I would stay here again. We loved the place, great location, very clean, nice warm shower, walkable to the downtown but quite enough at night and super kind hosts with a cute dog! :) We hope to come back!

This Airbnb is what Airbnb was supposed to be 10 years ago. It’s not just another property from a manager that you never see. Jean was very warm welcoming and welcomed us herself on our arrival. She was very proactive by giving us some tips from what to do, where to go or eat. She answered really quickly and helped us organized some massage sessions. The property is as described. The heated pool, the private beach and dock. Be aware that there are a lot of steps in the property and that arriving there from San Marcos may be a little difficult because of the road. But in my opinion those aren’t a problem after you see how beautiful it is there. I hope I can return one day

We loved staying at Nicolas’ home! It was so peaceful and beautiful. The views are amazing and loved waking up to a beautiful view in the morning. Although our trip was short, we enlisted every minute of it! The location is a bit far from the lively cities but the boat rides are pretty consistent so getting around was not difficult at all. Not to mention Nicola’s had recommended to us the best way of transportation around cities so that was help for sure.

Beautiful quiet place, you could hear the birds, I liked everything, a super beautiful place. Next time I will return with my children. Thank you for everything, very cool and the good thing is that we met some guests and we shared with them. Next time, if I bring my mini grill 🫢🫢

This view was to die for! Watching the sunrise above the volcanoes every morning with a cup of coffee was so peaceful. The hike up from the main road is no joke. My boyfriend and I are from Florida and use to flat and no elevation so it was quite difficult but as long as you take breaks it makes it worth it! We took about 5 breaks the first time as we were carrying huge luggage (travel light if you can) but after that we would take 3 breaks up and no breaks down. But it was just the adventure we wanted!

Great place to stay for a decent price! Taxis come by every now and then so you might have to wait awhile. House was just as beautiful as the pictures.

We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning home on Lake Atitlán. The views of the lake and volcanoes are truly breathtaking — photos can’t capture just how magical it feels in person. The house itself is beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and perfect for spending a relaxing week. The kitchen is well-stocked, which made it easy to cook and enjoy meals at home. It is a bit of a hike up to the house, but Ventura (the house manager), his son Randy, and Captain Martín made our arrival and departure seamless. In my opinion, as long as you’re physically able to walk up to the house on your own — about a five-minute uphill hike after taking a tuctuc as far as the street will take you — you’ll be totally fine. They provided plenty of help with bags and anything else we needed both on the way in and out, so it wasn’t an issue for us at all. Restaurants and stores in town close early, so good to keep some food and snacks in the house. Once you arrive you won’t want to leave!

It's an exciting place. I had the opportunity to see the rain on the volcanoes and the lake in front of me. It's an experience that matches any attraction in the world. I recommend it 100%
