This rustic home situated in a secluded valley in Montserrat National Park, 60km from Barcelona was built after the Napoleonic wars. The legend has it that it was built with money stolen from the corpses of the defeated French soldiers after the battle of El Bruc. I rebuilt the house from a near ruin, respecting the original structure in 1992. I have decorated it with a notable and very personal collection of art.
