We had a great stay at Lisa's place. Our family spent a lot of time on the water exploring the lake in the available canoe and kayaks and really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub in the evenings. The outdoor space is setup perfectly for living outside on those sunny days and inside the cabin is cozy and has all the amenities you need if the weather isn't great.

What a gem! This lovely cottage was everything we wanted. Private, clean and super cozy. The view from the deck steps away from the back porch was absolutely beautiful. Douglas was very friendly! His response time was very quick to any questions and he made sure we had everything we needed. His recommendations for around the area were super helpful too. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing girls weekend at this cozy cottage! The space was perfect – just the right amount of room for our group to relax, play games, and enjoy some quality time together. It was colder than expected, but the cottage was warm and inviting, making it the perfect escape. Heidi was a fantastic host – super helpful, kind, and easy to communicate with. We’d absolutely come back again!

What an amazing stay!! We had been looking for somewhere remote but with access to lots of activities and it couldn’t have been better. The outdoor kitchen was truly a once in a life time experience, as were the thousands of fire flies that came out at night. We loved the attention to detail and amenities (pizza oven, outdoor shower, kayaks, firewood prepped, coffee available, and the kitchen set up and ready to use). I have had so many friends ask where we stayed and are already looking to book. Couldn’t recommend more :)

We didn’t want to leave this morning but we will be back for sure. It’s a beautiful place and the hosts are incredible. Norma and Angel responded to things immediately even though we didn’t mean to rush them. Friendly, relaxed, and a great first swim in a lake this year. Two thumbs up for sure.

Waterfront A-frame in Muskoka

We stayed for 4 nights at this cottage in late September, just as the autumn leaves were setting in. It was rainy at night but we enjoyed cozy nights watching The Hobbit or playing board games by the roaring fireplace. During the days, we did multiple hikes around Hardy Lake, went to Bala (a very quaint town-we made jokes about being in a cheesy Hallmark movie), toured the cranberry bogs and trails with hot wine drinks and just enjoyed time at the cottage. There is something for everyone whether you’re a cook, book-lover or outdoors enthusiast. We brought our two dogs who loved hiking the trails, watching chipmunks, swimming near the shore , and lounging on the dock. They even got into the canoe. There was a friendly senior dog who wandered down to say hi a couple times. The highlight of it all- we got engaged there! :) :) :) Sarah and Chris, you must be so proud of this enchanting cottage where so many special life moments were created.

We had an amazing time with the family at this incredible spot! It offers the perfect balance of modern comforts and breathtaking natural beauty. From stunning views to peaceful surroundings, it truly felt like an escape into the heart of the Canadian north. The host was exceptional—always responsive and helpful. We especially appreciated having access to kayaks and canoes, which made our days on the water even more memorable. When we realized we had forgotten a watch, our host kindly mailed it back to us, saving us a long trip—such a thoughtful gesture! We loved it so much that we extended our stay after the first few nights. This is the ideal getaway for anyone looking to relax in nature without giving up modern amenities. We’ll absolutely be back!
