Country Domes, Take Me Home!

GracinRating, 5 stars4 days ago
John and Janet have created a wonderful space for couples to enjoy! They went above and beyond to make our honeymoon getaway as peaceful and special as possible, even giving us rose petals on the bed, sparkling cider, and a specially-made video! It was everything we could have asked for and more. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of their dome, including feeding the koi and relaxing in the hot tub. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking to connect with their loved one, take a breather from the stresses of life, or just looking to enjoy the night sky from inside. Thank you John and Janet for being amazing hosts, we hope to be back again!

River Right Retreat

KatlynRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is one of our favorite Airbnb’s to date! Beth’s place was not only spotless, but the perfect home away from home. It had everything we needed and more! Beth gave us local recommendations (even for rainy days as our stay was expecting some rain). There was even a welcome card that was handwritten! We would definitely stay here again. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Yurts on Potts Creek

KarenRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Some places you stay—others stay with you. This yurt was one of those places. Perfectly curated, thoughtfully built, and full of charm, it wrapped us in calm the moment we arrived. Every detail was intentional, from the cozy furnishings to the salvaged and repurposed treasures used to create the space. You can feel the heart in every corner. Wes & Susan were absolutely incredible—welcoming us (and our dogs!) like old friends. They shared local tips, fishing advice and gear, and genuine kindness that made our stay unforgettable. We also left with tons of ideas for our own waterfront property because we were so enamored and impressed with the yurt and surroundings. The mini hiking trail right on property is perfection and we caught some trout! We visited the Paint Bank store, ate at the restaurant which was delicious, visited the fish hatchery and also visited the Sweet Springs area. We came for a peaceful escape and left with full hearts. We’re obsessed!! We will be back!!

The Loft at Falls Pointe

Joanna & FranckRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A cabin tucked away in the woods, the sound of the river, peace and quiet… doesn’t that sound like the perfect vacation? This place is absolutely beautiful — you can read a book by the river, listen to the birds, go fishing, take long walks, or warm up by the fire. The cabin itself is lovely: clean, cozy, and full of charm. In a world of constant media noise, endless notifications, and mindless scrolling, we can’t recommend this kind of nature escape enough. We’re so grateful — this was exactly what we needed. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Cottage on the crystal clear Gauley River

JenniferRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Tucked back in a little holler along a quiet, crystal clear river, this cottage is a lovely gem to kick back and relax in after spending the day enjoying the breathtaking beauty of the local area. And there's so much to do in the region, especially if you're the outdoorsy type, and this place is close to all of the cool stuff you'll want to do. There's also plenty of nature just sitting on the back porch (if you're lucky, maybe the neighbour's chickens will come visit). We didn't rent the kayaks this time around, but we definitely will next time. Indoors, you'll find comfortable furnishings, a roomy and modern kitchen, washer and dryer, three bedrooms (with very comfy beds) and nice linens. And bonus! The bathtub is deep enough to actually take a bath in! Everything is clean and neat, decent parking, and so much better than any hotel. Michael is quick to respond if you have any questions, and gives you your privacy if you don't. A good host. 😊
