We really enjoyed our stay out in Woodside, it was really beautiful. Really enjoyed waking up to watch the cows past our windows, and even coming up to say hello! David was really helpful and friendly, and I'd recommend his place to anyone looking for a peaceful weekend away.

Escape to Adelaide Hills ~ Nature's Den #2 (of 4)

RenaeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My husband and I just spent a weekend at Nature’s Den in Mount George and it was absolute bliss. The outlook from the den is five stars — peaceful, private, and breathtaking. We woke up one morning to find a kangaroo feeding and relaxing just a few metres from our bed, and got to watch him while sipping our morning coffee. The space was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed, with a comfy bed and a handy little kitchenette. It felt like a true escape, yet still so close to the CBD. A perfect spot to unwind and reconnect. Highly recommend!

Charlie's Cottage

GregRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Charlie's Cottage hit the mark for our needs & catching up with SA family. We loved walking around the property, relaxing & just taking in the beautiful surroundings. It had been a long time since I had been on a working horse property, and never on one so well maintained. A perfect location to for any touring around the Adelaide Hills and easy drive to Mannum and the local sights along the Murray River. We were extremely fortunate to have Charlies' Cottage recommended by a local. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at Charlie's Cottage. Appreciated, Greg & family

We did enjoy our stay at Rob's studio. Loved the fresh eggs from the chicken next door. The studio was cozy, beautifully maintained and detached from the main house. We would definitely come back. Rob was a great host.

Paddle Wheeler Lilian - floating on Murray River

SallyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We stayed on the Lilian Paddle Steamer as a family of four, consisting of all adults. The space is compact, but very well designed and laid out with all required amenities. The owners live nearby and are on hand should you have any issues (which we didn’t), but they are not intrusive in any way. Beautiful setting on the river. I loved getting up early to sit on the deck and watch sunrise along with the pelicans. The centre of Mannum is just a ten minute walk away. Despite the heatwave, it was walkable/ and the boat has effective air conditioning and fans for the bedrooms. There is a log burner located in the centre of the boat and we are already thinking of returning in winter to experience the boat during a different season. Highly recommended !!!

Spa Bath, Entire Home, Off Street Parking

CourtneyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a winter getaway at Hannah’s property she manages in Eden Valley. The cottage was quaint and perfect for a couple getaway. The cottage is also dog friendly and great to visit with our cavoodle. The cottage was clean, tidy and had amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Backyard was big and the gardens beautifully maintained. The fire was perfect for enjoying in the lounge room. Wood was supplied however we did buy some kindling and fire lighters to get the fire going. Welcome gifts were provided on arrival which was a kind touch. Thanks Hannah for the stay.

A wonderful, relaxing stay in a beautiful location. Loved the views and light-filled, open-plan living area. Plenty of room for our party of eight to spread out and enjoy the peaceful, scenic surrounds. Thoughtful touches, such as Easter chocolate and wine on our arrival, and generous breakfast supplies provided. Beverley was extremely helpful and responded to all our enquiries swiftly. Highly recommend this beautiful home - we’d love to come back! Thank you, Beverley!
