Kid-friendly vacation rentals in San Jose

Our stay was lovely here, we were in San Jose a quick trip and check in was very flexible. They did a great job providing very clear checkin instructions. The room was great, very clean and honestly a very fun experience staying in a very special location. Primarily street parking out here, and it was pretty abundant. It felt very safe and peaceful in the neighborhood. There were several other rooms booked by other visitors and the other people were respectful of quiet hours, so it was pleasant.

found everything as described in listing. host responds promptly to messages [some airbnb hosts do not but FenFen does]. room has separate entrance where there are three rooms rented out; they share one bathroom and living space with full fridge and microwave. as another reviewer already mentioned, rooms are marked A, B and C and the fridge has three shelves marked A, B and C so everyone has their own shelf in fridge and food will not get mixed up. tip for future guests; bath tub drains slowly so open water flow to minimum necessary and use hand held shower head to direct water to different body parts

Mona's place is the perfect spot I was looking for. If you are looking for a quiet place in a beautiful area of San Jose, I highly recommend this stay. Mona was also very kind and flexible with a last minute booking and late check in. I really appreciated this and it made my stay feel even better.

I am an elderly woman in San Jose to mourn the passing of my dearly beloved son. Angel and Steve helped me with luggage, walker, laundry - all with kindness. I very much appreciated their assistance.

I was greeted by Fiona shortly after arriving in the shared living room. She was extremely kind and helpful. Everything was exactly as shown in the listing on a clean & quiet street. I almost didn't want to leave a review because they're already booked out so far and I often need a room in San Jose! But they have such a well organized system and lovely location, it deserves to be recognized ;)

Michelle was a very proactive host. Space is clean, neat and as pictured. Was great alternative to hotel for a conference trip. Would stay again.

Luong’s place was a great pit stop during our California road trip! The surrounding area had a lot of amenities to offer and was only a short ride away to the coast line. The beds were comfortable and offered a good nights rest which we were in desperate need of! Overall good experience!

Very well equipped, including smart Roku TV and good WiFi. Only a few options to eat & drink within walking distance, but great access by car.

The cozy casita was absolutely amazing. It was perfect for my weekend getaway. I had plans in emeryville it was very close. The details of the casita were well thought out. I felt the love that was put in. Would definitely stay again.

Hanna and Jimmys place was awesome! We came for a girls trip and their Airbnb made our trip even that much more special. The space was in a great location, spacious, and was very clean. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. :)

The location of the suite is in a nice area close to the Mission hills. Very quiet neighbourhood with attractive homes and gardens.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an apartment in Santa Row, San Jose, and it was nothing short of fantastic! This vibrant area is a true gem for anyone looking to experience the best of what the city has to offer. First and foremost, the shopping options are outstanding. Santa Row is home to a variety of upscale shops and boutiques, making it a shopper's paradise. Whether you're looking for high-end fashion, unique gifts, or the latest tech gadgets, you'll find it all within walking distance. The convenience of having such a diverse selection of stores right at your doorstep is a huge plus. Speaking of walkability, the area is incredibly pedestrian-friendly. Strolling through Santa Row, you’ll find beautifully landscaped streets, making it a joy to explore on foot. The proximity of cafes, restaurants, and entertainment venues means you can easily grab a bite or enjoy a drink without needing to drive. This makes it particularly appealing for tourists and locals alike.

Very convenient location, easy walk to UC Berkeley. Even though it's near a busy intersection, it felt very quiet and peaceful. The unit is much more spacious than I was anticipating and it was nice to have a complete kitchen. Al is a very kind and responsive host. I would definitely recommend!

Very convenient in walking distance to downtown and to the Stanford Campus

It was a little confusing gettinto the place. We parked in the structure and gained access through 2 floor bridge, but got locked out. We found the ground floor door and were able to use that. The garage gate only open one side. The parking space was tricky because it was next to motorcycles parking. BE CAREFUL, mattress sags at edges, husband fell off bed and hit his face. All in all we had a great time. 👍

We had a fantastic time. The view was second to none, with easy access to the beach and restaurants. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Great coffee shop within walking distance (albeit with a decent hill). We happened to stay when whales were just off the coast and saw them from the shore. Could not have asked for a better day. For those with mobility issues - you do need to climb about 10 narrow steps to get to the tram, which lets you skip the rest of the stairs. But there is no way around those first steps. Would absolutely come back.

This home is amazing. Looked even better than the photos showed. The view is to die for. I literally could have stayed there all day just gazing at the sea. Lots of space , comfortable settee. Kitchen great. Loved the magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Plenty of towels. Parking outside was great. Short walk to a lovely beach. 10 mins to Capitola. 15 mins to Santa Cruz Living in the UK I don’t know when we will be back in California but if we do this is the only home I want to stay in. Loved every minute here and was sorry to leave.

Perfect place to stay in Alameda with young kids! Kimberly’s condo had a pack and play, highchair, and even toys for my young children to play with. The walk in closet was a great space to put the pack and play to add some separation for nap and overnight sleep. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay. The home is lovely and the area is very walkable with lots of restaurants and shops accessible.
