Waterfront vacation rentals in San Foca

What a wonderful experience staying at Casa di Mamma Anna. Upon arrival I was greeted warmly by the hosts Franca and Giuseppe. Not only is the apartment clean and bright it is in a fabulous location. Easy to reach the town , a nearby beach but perfectly situated to explore further along the coast. I loved everything about my stay in Otranto. Many thanks to Franca for friendly and helpful advice. ❤️

Die Wohnung ist modern, geräumig und schick eingerichtet. Sie liegt im 4. Stock eines Wohnblocks mit 2 grossen Terrassen mit Meerblick. Ein kleiner, ruhiger Strand ist auf der einen Seite, und ein sehr langer und belebter Strand auf der anderen. In unmittelbarer Nähe hat es zahlreiche Geschäfte und Restaurants. Man braucht kein Auto, wenn man keine Ausflüge machen will. Maria und Tommaso sind äußerst nett und hilfsbereit. Check-in und -out waren sehr effizient. Ein Korb mit Lebensmitteln und Getränke wurden zum Empfang bereitgestellt, und am letzten Tag als Überraschung eine Flasche Olivenöl. In der Wohnung ist an alles gedacht, selbst Strandliegen hat es. Das Wifi funktioniert bestens, und das Auto kann im Hof geparkt werden. Das war eine sehr entspannte Woche.

Die Wohnung war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Man hat sich eher wie zu Hause als in einer Ferienwohnung gefühlt. Die Ausstattung war auch besonders gut: Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, Fliegengitter an allen Fenstern, voll ausgestattete Küche. In 5 Minuten zu Fuß ist man am Wasser und ein paar Restaurants. In 20 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Altstadt mit weiteren Restaurants. Maria Cristina war äußerst nett, hat uns persönlich empfangen und hat uns einen schönen Aufenthalt ermöglicht. Für Autos gibt es einen eigenen Parkplatz direkt an der Wohnung. Die Unterkunft ist eine klare Empfehlung! Wir würden wieder buchen :-)

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 giorni a Otranto nella casa di Tania. Molto bene sotto tutti gli aspetti. Cortesia, pulizia, ambiente e biancheria profumati, grandezza dall'ambiente, parcheggio in strada con pass datoci da Tania e quindi gratuito, bellissimo terrazzo anche se nn usato purché eravamo sempre fuori. Amazing Place: Very clean with all the little things you need for an extended stay. Beautiful views from the terrace. We used it as a hub to. Visit the beaches of the area. A perfect stay!

Har haft en helt fantastisk vecka i detta boende. Kände oss direkt som hemma från det varma välkomnandet av Daniela och Valentino vid incheckningen. Boendet var mycket rent och tillhandahöll med allt och lite till som vi kunde behöva. Boendet är beläget med fantastisk panoramautsikt över havet, mycket nära till vattnet, flera olika stränder och badplatser. Boendet ligger mitt emellan två byar med utsökta restauranger och cafeér på varje sida. Vi är mer än nöjda med vår vistelse och kommer gärna tillbaka hit.

We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Chiara. Het huis is prachtig ingericht, heel proper en we kregen enkele welkomstgeschenken waaronder een zelfgemaakte heerlijke limoncello. We hebben met volle teugen genoten van dit aangenaam verblijf. Het grote terras met wondermooi uitzicht was ons favoriet terras. Dit is een adres om te onthouden en terug te keren. We voelden ons echt welkom!

Beautiful modern apartment very close to the beach road. Lovely balcony to enjoy outside. Very close to restaurants and beaches. Guiseppe the host was very helpful

We stayed for 11 nights in June. The place was very private and quiet. The apt. had everything we needed. The sea was really just a 1 minute walk away and there were hardly any other people swimming. The water was very nice. The terrace was incredible and had direct sun only in the morning. The view is east bound. The master bed was good in size, the mattress could be better. Towels and sheets were plenty and clean. The washing machine was good. The kitchen stove works with gas and the hot water works with a boiler. The water pressure was good and the water was always warm. The oven didn’t work unfortunately, switching it on made the electricity go off. WiFi does not work well inside the house but on the terrace, but we didn’t mind. We had a wonderful stay here and would recommend the place for a couple or a small family.

This house is a real gem. It is located right at the sea. There are stones in front of it but you can go swimming, if you want. On both sides approx. 5-10 min are very nice sandy beaches. The view is amazing and we had super nice sunsets. The house has everything you need and the kitchen is fully equipped. The decoration is maritime and quite cute. It was really peaceful and we had a great time. There are a couple of restaurants in the village as well as shops and even fish shop. We were there at the end of May. Many shops and restaurants were still closed but 20 min by car there is a bigger town where you have everything. We really enjoyed our stay. If you look for peace and quiet - book this lovely house! Highly recommended!

Wir waren zu zweit für sechs Nächte in der Unterkunft und mehr als zufrieden. Mai ist noch vor der Saison, sodass wir allein in der gesamten Straße waren. Die Terasse ist ein Traum, jedoch für die Nachbarn einsehbar. Dadurch, dass wir allein waren, war dies nichts schwierig. Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen, Fernando war ein super Gastgeber und war immer gut erreichbar und freundlich!

Non posso che scrivere un'ottima recensione, Francesco una persona gentile e discreta sempre disponibile per ogni problema. Ci ha accolto in casa facendoci trovare dei prodotti locali e anche una bottiglia del suo olio. La casa era come descritta, posto molto bello e tranquillo mare stupendo molto vicino raggiungibile a piedi. Da San Foca si possono raggiungere varie spiagge. Io e la mia famiglia siamo stati molto bene. Grazie Francesco ci rivedremo!

Words cannot describe how immensely special and beautiful this home is. Even the walls have soul! Every bedroom is in its own floor, which felt very private. The home is decorated beyond beautifully and is within walking distance of everything on the island, including amazing restaurants. What words cannot explain is how after staying at many Airbnb’s throughout our travels, the host is BEYOND amazing. She provided customized recommendations for everything on the island based on her experiences (the home is a beautifully restored family home)…. Places that avoided the typical tourist traps. She made sure we were absolutely comfortable, going out of her way at every opportunity. If her parking space is free, without a doubt, I recommend getting it as parking is very limited on the island. The view is literally the best in all of Gallipoli. Literally. Enjoyed so many gorgeous sunsets on 5 different terraces!!!!! Of course, the top one with a 360 degree view could not be beat!!!

La casa è veramente molto spaziosa e la posizione vicina a molti luoghi di interesse del salento la rende ottima per chi vuole un po' di tranquillità per le sue vacanze e gli permette di visitare in poco tempo tutto il salento. Camilla è sempre stata disponibile e chiara per ogni nostro dubbio. Consigliatissimo

Ich war als Alleinreisender in Giuseppes Wohnung. Eigentlich ist es ein ganzes Reihenhaus am Ende einer Gasse gerade ausserhalb der Altstadt: Eingang – eine schmale Treppe hoch für die eigentliche Wohnung – eine weitere schmale Treppe hoch zur Waschküche und zur grossen Dachterrasse mit tollem Ausblick über die Altstadt bis zum Meer. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber ohne unnötigen Kram, aber sie ist nicht riesig. Vor allem das Badezimmer ist eher für schlanke Leute gemacht. Alles Angebotene in der Unterkunft funktioniert bestens (Warmwasser, Waschmaschine, WiFi, Gaskochherd, Gasbackofen). 5 Sterne für a) die Lage (sehr ruhig, 5 Minuten zu Fuss zur Promenade mit allen Restaurants, aber fernab vom Trubel b) die Park-Karte erlaubt das unbegrenzte Parken in der blauen Zone (Ich fand immer einen Parkplatz im Umkreis von 200 m) c) die grosse Dachterrasse. Zufahrt bis vors Haus nur zum Ausladen des Gepäcks, keine Mikrowelle, Möbel auf der Terrasse etwas verwittert. Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen!

Merci Pasquale et Paolo pour l'accueil et le séjour. Tout était parfait ! L'appartement semblait déjà beau en photos mais il était encore mieux en vrai. La déco, la douche et la cuisine avaient été refaites. Ils avaient prévu tout le nécessaire pour notre séjour avec notre bébé : table a langer, baignoire bébé, chaise haute, lit parapluie, mixeur pour purée, poussette et même parasol et 2 chaises pliables (qui nous a permis de lui faire découvrir la plage de sable, a 5 min à pied de l'appartement). Parking dans le jardin, vue sur mer, cuisine tout équipée. Machine a laver et machine a café avec des dosettes également. Tout était hyper bien pensé pour que nous passions de bonnes vacances. Jusqu'aux moustiquaires. Ils avaient même prévu une carte et nous ont recommandé plein d'endroits sympa. L'appartement était également très propre. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir pour notre prochain séjour et recommandons a 100% leurs logements

Terrazza Doxi Fontana is a beautiful apartment with large terrace & amazing views from inside and out. The 3 en-suite bedrooms are very similar making sharing fair for everyone. There are lots of stairs to access the apartment so not suitable for people with mobility issues. Once inside it’s on one level and has a good layout. A great place to chill out. No parking available close by at the port so we had to offload luggage and wait with it whilst someone else parked much further away. Inconvenient but workable. Gallipoli was a lovely place to visit whilst exploring Puglia.

Our experience at Elizabeth's apartment was fantastic from start to finish. Communication with her was seamless; she was always quick to assist and answer any questions we had. Elizabeth went above and beyond, providing detailed instructions for our late check-in and sharing wonderful recommendations for nearby restaurants. We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful penthouse! The views are absolutely stunning. You can see the sea from every angle, and the sunsets were truly unforgettable. The area is peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk from the historic city center. Communication with the host was smooth and easy.
