Kid-friendly vacation rentals in San Diego Bay

stayed two nights at Jess’s place and really loved the location and neighborhood—very quiet and beautiful. The Airbnb itself is cozy and nicely set up, perfect for couples or small families. It had everything we needed. Jess even provided a crib for my daughter, despite my last-minute request. I’d definitely love to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. The place was very clean and comfortable. The location was great. It was very close to the beach and it was very peaceful throughout the day and night. We would definitely like to come back someday.

My stay at jills place was one of my best experiences with Airbnb. she was extremely helpful and responsive and the energy of the house was peaceful, calm and refreshing. jill has taken great pains and care to make sure that all possible facilities are there to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. My wife and I were looking for a quick local getaway, and this place was perfect! A cozy and charming bungalow with top-notch decor. There’s plenty to do in the surrounding area, but we especially loved relaxing on the patio by the firepit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay.

Home is lovely and in very quiet area. We felt safe and our vehicle fit in the garage so that was a huge plus! I loved the fact they had a high chair for our 13 month old which made it 100% family friendly. The home is extremely clean, organized and everything worked as it should.

Nicole’s house was great. Her house was so comfortable that we felt at home when we got there. Our stay there flew by fast. The instructions she left for us was easy to understand and made checking in the place easy. The house was clean and beautiful. Communication with Nicole was very easy and would reply within a few minutes. She was eager to make our stay memorable. A lot of available parking on the street. I was not worried about finding parking at night. Would love to stay at Nicole’s place again.

This is a great landing pad for fun in the area. It's a modern space with a relaxing patio and living area. The kitchen bar is a great spot for meals, games, and conversation. The bathroom is large and accommodates 2 people getting ready together. I'd book this space again next time I'm in the area.

I enjoyed staying at Vivian's place and it worked just fine for my purposes. I was in town for a conference and the home is about a 20 minute walk to the convention center. The apartment was well appointed and I appreciated the in-unit washer and dryer. The home is in a quiet area of the city and fairly residential. There weren't many people walking around when I was coming back at night, which did give me pause as a solo female traveler, however I found the surroundings to be safe and had no problems.

Lucero was super sweet and communicative! Her home was beautiful, cozy and clean- a perfect getaway in the middle of everything that downtown San Diego has to offer. I definitely recommend!!

I had a great time staying at Thelma De La Paz’s place! The space was cozy, very clean, and exactly what I needed for a comfortable stay. Thelma was a wonderful host - polite, welcoming, and super responsive to any questions I had. Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful place to stay. My wife, my two children, and myself stayed here for three nights. Everything was a breeze, and we had everything that we needed. Mugs, glasses, plates, etc. were all provided. This is so conveniently located. You are within a three minute walk to Starbucks, a four minute walk to the beach, and a four minute walk to outstanding restaurants nearby. The area is safe, clean, and quiet. This place is ideal for a small family that is bringing only one car. If you bring more than one car, you have to park publicly on the side of the street, which is very inconvenient in my opinion. Geoff provided everything for us, including an extra twin size bed, sand toys for the beach, beach, chairs, and beach towels. We would love to stay with Jeff again.

We loved this apartment- it was beautiful and had everything we needed! It was even bigger than the photos make it seem. Gorgeous decor and beautifully maintained/cleaned. Lots of extras/amenities like kitchen items, toiletries, beach stuff, and linens. The host’s communication was very hospitable and helpful! Location and view is incredible - right on the beach and walkable to so many cute cafes, grocery stores and bars. Comes with a parking spot too, and pool and hot tub access! Would definitely book again!

Tony’s place was absolutely the best! It was so clean and the area was very quiet. There are several places you can walk to for a quick snack/lunch/dinner/coffee. Tony had a list of recommendations and they did not disappoint, we went to few of them and we loved them. Definitely a place to stay whenever we come to San Diego.
