Emil's Winkel am Wald invites you to enjoy the tranquility with us at Wald am Bückeberg. Make yourself comfortable in a 1-room apartment with its own kitchen and bathroom with shower and washer-dryer, which we have furnished with love and care. In addition, we have purchased furniture made of recycled wood and the upholstery is made of recycled plastic :-) You are welcome in our garden and can pick some fresh herbs for dinner. Or look at the surroundings, such as the castles of the region.

The apartment with fantastic views comprises the entire attic of my house. It is located in a quiet location in Lamspringe directly on the edge of the forest and is completely newly renovated. It is accessible via the main entrance via a separate (!) A place of rest close to nature. The bedroom has a large, cozy double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and there is a sofa bed. My place is right in the center of the historic old town of Höxter. Restaurants and pubs as well as all shopping are within walking distance. Corvey Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is only about 3 km away. Höxter is located on the R1 bike path, only about 500 meters from the apartment. Towards Godelheim after about 1.5 km is the recreational lake with swimming and sports facilities, which is very popular in good weather.

Welcome to Werder , a small village 5 km from Bockenem and the A7 with connection to the A39. Hanover , Brunswick and Goslar can be reached in about 30 minutes. Shops and restaurants are located in and around Bockenem. The Harz as well as the Weserbergland invite you to hike and cycle. Motorcyclists will also get their money's worth here,we ride a motorcycle ourselves and are at your disposal for tour questions.

Our Romantic Wooden Lodge has been created with an eye for detail to offer you a warm and cosy atmosphere in a wonderful woodland surrounding. Depending on the season you have the choice to swim, to enjoy the sauna, or just chill sitting by the cosy wood burning stove in the lodge. Hiking trails start directly behind the BLH and a restaurant with a beer garden is 800m behind the BLH.
