A beautiful house within walking distance of Barbizon village. The garden was pristine and a wonderful spot for breakfast. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well-equipped, and the house had lovely nooks for relaxing with a book. Helen was very responsive and the guide left at the house included all the necessary information. We hope to return.

House well suited to groups because there are lots of rooms , which is nice. The neighborhood is quiet and there are a few shops nearby which is very nice. We had a great time at Olivier's

We had a great time, I was a little apprehensive about the fact that the accommodation was on the owners' property and frankly 10/10 the hosts were very responsive, discreet, everything was thought of as it should be, we were able to enjoy the whole garden and a small area with the minimum of overlooking was available, the pool water was very good. We'll be back. 🙂

Beautiful place, beautiful mansion. Even if the old is preserved, modern comforts are available. The whole family enjoyed the indoor heated pool. A green setting where it's good to enjoy your loved ones and feel good.

Perfect house for a relaxing getaway with friends We were there with 8 people and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The house is beautiful, very stylishly furnished and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The pool was a real highlight – ideal for chilling, surrounded by wonderful nature and absolute tranquility. At the same time, the location is super convenient: you can get to Paris in a short time – both by train and by car. We tried both, very uncomplicated. The hosts were friendly, helpful and everything worked smoothly. A place to feel good, relax and at the same time perfectly connected – absolute recommendation!

We were with a group of friends for the annual bouldering in Tony's accommodation and were more than satisfied with our stay😊! A great house with all kinds of specials and everything your heart desires. We spent a lot of time in the large living area, as well as on the cozy balcony in the courtyard and the garden area and felt very comfortable! 😊 Communication with Tony was great, check-in and check-out were easy and straightforward! Accommodation with lots of charm, you feel good there immediately, Jean-Pierre and Dominique are very welcoming and accommodating hosts. We had a lovely stay at the quiet and relaxing potter's cottage.

Nice spacious pool house with modern feel.The crocodile (statue) in the floor is a cool feature and the area is super nicely located at the river Marne with lots of walking and cycling space. Playground and little cafe in the park within a few hundred metres. Very convenient for travel into Paris by RER. Bakeries and supermarkets all in walking distance. You stay on owners property which is just stunning and has parking too. Friendly hosts that are very responsive.

Wake up to the sound of birds, in peace, in a beautifully decorated house with all amenities. This was our second time staying at the Maison du Néflier. In the beautiful village of Saint Sulpice de Favières with its magnificent cathedral, a fantastic restaurant (Saint Louis) around the corner and a pretty surrounding forest for walking. It is an 8-minute drive to the nearest metro station and in 45 minutes you will be in the heart of Paris! Enjoy the perfect combination of romantic French countryside and lively Paris. We enjoyed it again and David and Olivier are perfect hosts. They're always there for you, have perfect advice and are really nice, very cool superhosts. A gem on Airbnb.

One of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The host was incredibly welcoming, communicative, and helpful, offering great local tips and thoughtful touches like a welcome note and snacks. The home was spotless, stylish, and fully equipped—from a comfy bed and soft linens to a well-stocked kitchen. We especially loved the cozy living area and peaceful ambiance. Location was ideal: quiet, safe, and close to shops, restaurants, and attractions. Every detail was carefully thought out, from fast Wi-Fi to clear instructions and labeled amenities. It truly felt like a home away from home. The attention to cleanliness and guest comfort was outstanding. We were so impressed by how much care went into making our stay perfect. There were 5 of us and it was perfect. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom area. The kitchen was fully equipped, the living room cozy and the terrace quiet and inviting to relax. Everything was clean. There was nothing to complain about. We highly recommend it.

Annette is very welcoming. The accommodation is very nice, very well furnished and tastefully decorated. The surroundings are very beautiful, close to the Fontainebleau forest, the Château de Courances, the Cyclop by Jean Tinguely, Milly. The only regret is that the road that passes in front of the cottage is quite busy, but you are still well isolated in the courtyard.

We spent 48 hours in paradise. The huge garden (or should I say peninsula?) is absolutely stunning. The definition of both "la vie en rose" as well as "joie de vivre", as the French say. The house was very nice as well. And despite being about half a millenium old, it still has all the modern amenities. Christine our host was very friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough!
