Off the beaten track, small haven of greenery

SmiljaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A magical house cottage in a magical garden in a lovely village walking distance from the beach where you can swim and enjoy the simple life surrounded by some nature giants. I stayed for a week and loved every second of it. Cooked and worked outside. Easy to get to town but perfect to hide and connect with real nature. A lovely host too who took me around and connected me with great cultural events. Highly recommended! Thank you house!

Just book it—you can rest assured your stay will be amazing. From beautiful morning swims on the beach to the bonfire and barbecue night that Patricia, the lovely housekeeper, generously set up for us, every moment was special. Falling asleep to the soothing beach breeze was pure bliss. This was the perfect holiday spot for my partner and two friends. We’ll definitely be back again!

Bungalow with direct access to private beach

Pauline Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
I stayed 2 nights with family (our 5 and 2 year old children) at Régine and Jacques's. we both agreed that this place is a little slice of heaven! it was even beyond my expectations! it's nice, friendly, beautifully decorated and well maintained despite conditions (by the sea) that quickly damage the equipment. The host is friendly, responsive and accommodating. on site, it's invaluable to ensure that you feel good and safe. It's super nice! Honestly, don't hesitate to book. it's worth the trip. Plus, Bassam is a very nice city. we liked the visit to the costume museum. In short, we'll be back. 🥰🔆🌊☀️

Cocoa Village atta kwame bungalow

LeBraunRating, 5 stars100 months ago
If you really want to find an escape, this is the place. Right on the edge of the lake in the middle of this huge cratered-mountain is the perfect getaway. The views are amazing. I suggest waking up early to watch the sun come up as the local fisherman cast their nets. They have a restaurant with a great cook. The staff is professional, friendly & helpful. If you truly want a secluded place in the heart of Ghana I suggest you stay at CoCoa Village!

Our stay at the Baobab bungalow at Patrice's was a memorable moment for my wife and I. The place is calm, restful, and all is made to make you feel at home. It is located in a calm neighborhood, ideally located 30m from the scenic beaches of Saly while a 3mn walk away from busy downtown. Patrice, a very thoughtful person, anticipates your every needs and will do everything humanly possible to help his guest enjoy to the fullest. I definetly recommend it.Thanks again Pat, et a bientot jespere!

Cosy and safe private apartment in Bijilo

RachealRating, 5 stars3 months ago
I had a wonderful one month stay at Svens Airbnb. The apartment is inside a family compound and this is something I really enjoyed. Being surrounded by a Gambian family made my stay special. We ate together, they showed me around and learned me some Wolof. I had a blast with Mo and his family. The area, Bijilo, is calm and 10 minutes walk from the beach. The house is close to the main road from where you can go everywhere. To senegambia it’s only 5-7 minutes drive. Mo is very attentive, social and helpful. He can help you with anything and if he doesn’t know he will connect you. I really recommend this place if you want to connect with Gambian lifestyle and learn to get to know the culture. There is no wifi but for 150 D you can but you wifi for a week. Anyway, I had a great time

I really enjoyed my stay at Cynthia’s place! She is a great hostess, very responsive and helpful and makes a great team with Friday. Friday was a great help, always there on the spot for anything I needed, handeling the power, opening the gate - making my stay as comfortable as possible. I would warmly recommend this accommodation! Thank you Cynthia!

The Comfort Zone: Self-contained bungalow in Accra

JaneRating, 5 stars65 months ago
Martina and Marguerita are exceptional hosts. We could not have had the incredible Ghana experiance had stayed in a hotel or went on a tour. Martina provided some off the beated path places that are her favorites. We had all the privacy we wanted with help and guidance when needed. The neighborhood in Tesano is lovely and safe. While staying t Martina'sm we had a medical emergency. This is when our hosts' quick response meant that we lost a day but it did not spoil our trip. I just can't say enough about our experience.
