Magnificent private hilltop villa on magical Saba

Haiku House on Saba is a gem. We stayed a week and with our family and it was fabulous. The view is fantastic and the house has all the amenities you could ask for. Assistance was always available from the property manager who was very responsive. Would highly recommend.

Compass Cottage

RandallRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Saba was a great vacation spot, and Compass Cottage was the perfect villa for us. People coming to Saba should be aware that this was not a lie-on-the-beach Caribbean vacation. You walk everywhere, and the hiking/walking can be rigorous (but beautiful). The walk to/from town is about 12 minutes, (but it is a bit of a climb up the hill). Windward Side is definitely where you want to stay. Compass Cottage was a relaxing and private home for a week. Mark was very responsive and helpful. The Saba community is warm and welcoming. Highly recommend Compass Cottage - and Saba!

Tree Fern Studio in Zion's Hill, Saba

KiraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Thanks to Jeff for the warm welcome on Saba, one of the best kept secrets in the Caribbean for excellent scuba diving and hiking. I felt at home in his apartment, a small, typically Saban cottage. Good choice. His father David (Jeff was working) picked me up at the airport, took me to Upper Zion's Hill, the highest settlement on the island. The accomodation is new, spacious enough for two persons, fully and top equipped, has air conditioning. The location is quiet, surrounded by nature, right next to the entrance of the Sandy Cruz Trail which has a branch up to Mount Scenery, the highest peak of the Netherlands. Walking to Windwardside, the next village with all the infrastructure, takes 35 minutes - constant up and down. Jeff helped me in finding a rental car which you definitely need on Saba. He also picked up my luggage which came one day after my arrival from St. Maarten. Next time on Saba I would pick Jeff's place again.

Spyglass Villa Charms!

ChrisRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This is a place which should be the model for all ABNB's. Obviously other ABNB's can't duplicate the amazing location, but the little things are what put Spyglass over the top: A place to hang your wet bath towels, binoculars to take in the 360 degree views, easily located linens for the beds, plenty of chairs for relaxing, a soap dish in the shower, plenty of cooking supplies, clean and also readily available supplies in case a mess is made. These seem like small things, but they make the stay more like home. The home seem designed to take advantage of the cool breezes and offer beautiful views no matter which bedroom you choose. Sitting on the deck enjoying happy hour or reading a book was one of our favorite past times. While the walk into town is steep, we did it a couple of times a day and enjoyed the local ambience while walking through the neighborhoods.

Beautiful traditional Saba Cottage

EfratRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Great stay at Saba. Exactly as described, clean and comfortable. This Airbnb goes the extra mile with providing 2 sets of towels and beach towels. I highly recommend this stay as an alternative to a hotel - it is located around the corner from a supermarket, restaurants and SeaSaba dive shop. You can organize a dive and get picked up straight from the shop with no extra cost. There are also trails that start close by. Special surprise: there is a museum and a playground adjusted to the backyard with chickens and bunnies running around. This was a dream for our 4 year old and although Saba is not the easiest place to travel with kids, I found that Michal’s place, it’s surroundings and friendly neighbors made it an unforgettable experience for all 3 of us.

Saba's Finest, Largest Villa

IverRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Panoramic views from high above the sea. Main home needs some attention, but is very beautifully designed and constructed. The property manager, Marc was always available and did an excellent job taking care of us while we were there. Steep walk up the driveway but then a fairly short and even walk into charming Windward Side with grocery stores, nice restaurants and the excellent Mt Scenery trail head. The Spring Bay trail head which also has very dramatic views is just a few minutes walk from the house.
