Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer

Very nice apartment in a quiet location in a small residential area. Great view to the south towards Hohe Tauern or to the north towards Steinernes Meer. On foot, you can reach the lake in 15 minutes, and by car, it is also only 15 minutes to the ski resort to Saalbach-Hinterglemm. In summer, it's definitely great for cycling. Thanks to Mathilde and Alois for the lovely stay!

A wonderful chalet, very lovingly decorated and you feel right at home from the first moment. Especially the sauna, which can be used at any time, is the heart of the house. Cornelia & Roland are very attentive and extremely friendly. Thank you for the lovely holiday!

Had a great short stay! The apartment is centrally located in Kaprun, so you can quickly get anywhere on foot or by bus (ski area, hiking trails, bike paths, Tauern thermal baths, town center with shops and restaurants). The apartment and also the garden area are lovingly designed and we felt very comfortable with Nina and her family

The place was very nice. It was a little warm, but there were also two fans. The furnishings were great. Everything was clean. Nothing was missing. Hosts were very kind and accommodating. We traveled a lot and it was always pleasant to come back to the accommodation. Very cozy.

We stayed with Stuart for the second time and felt right at home! It's really great to have Stuart as a host, he is easily accessible, always nice and helpful :). You have the whole house to yourself, which is a great luxury and we always enjoy very much! In Kaprun you can walk to everything from the house, but at the same time you have your peace and quiet to relax superbly. We will definitely come back several times to be Stuart's guests:)!

The stay was just great! We immediately felt at home in the family atmosphere! The apartment was perfect for our needs. But the service and openness of the hosts was outstanding. There is also a large garden with chickens! 🐓

We had a lovely time at Carmen's home It's easy to get the bus to city center which is just 10m ride away.

The couple hosted us with smiles on their faces, place is amazing and surpassed 5 star hotels, amazing area and surrounding, what caught my attention is the attention to details everything is super clean and little pieces of furniture and house needed materials are everywhere, this place can be a standalone home for anyone. Definitely visiting again if we have the chance It’s worth mentioning the couple were responsive at all times and during check in they waited for us, also during check out we had a great chat and they helped with the luggage

Absolute recommendation! The area of Maria's place is like paradise. The view, the tranquility, simply fabulous. The place is really nice and there was nothing we missed. Maria's hospitality is particularly noteworthy. She made us feel at home. At any time, she gave personal tips on hikes and local events. One could list much more here, but unfortunately the characters are not enough. The fresh hay milk and eggs directly from their own cow and chickens were also special. It was really wonderful! Thank you! ☺️

Johanna and Flo are super sweet people but the sweetest is Rosalie, she is so cute!!!!! We were very kindly welcomed, everything is SUPER PROPER and NEAT!!!! Nicely decorated, the kitchen is very well equipped for cooking yourself. We greatly enjoyed the super cozy and nice terrace with beautiful garden and beautiful views of the mountains. Even though we sometimes had a little rain, we could always sit dry on the terrace. You have private parking at the apartment. Across the street, a cozy Konditorei with very tasty pastries. And a very tasty Pizzeria just around the corner, Jolly Pizzeria with very tasty Pizza. There is also a small supermarket nearby. The area was very quiet and you are right on the Konigssee. In the area you can take beautiful walks and excursions. Everything was PERFECT, we enjoyed our vacation SUPER and felt AT HOME !!!! We highly recommend the apartment and would definitely come back. Wonderful apartment with everything you need. Slept very well in the beds. Sunny balcony with lounger. Plenty of space in the cabinets. Very nice bathroom. We felt very comfortable all around. The landlady was also extremely likeable. I highly recommend the apartment. Horsepower If you want to go swimming, you can walk to the lake in 4 minutes 🏝️🫶🏊

The apartment is just like on the photos: a lot of space, a lot of light and breathtaking views. Super comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and many games like table tennis, mini billiard and more. A huge bonus in a hot weather is an access to the private lake few steps from the building.

Very nice place to make excursions into the mountains, great views at the apartment and Saalfelden within walking distance. Apartment equipped with everything necessary. Since the sleeping area and toilet/shower are only separated by a curtain, it out for people who feel very comfortable with each other

Anna is courteous, quick and easy to reach, very accommodating. There is nothing negative, everything is great.

Absolutely the nicest apartment that we’ve been to. Has a really nice view. But the thing is, the apartment has a veranda with a ceiling. We spent a lot of time there, also when it was raining. We ate breakfast there. We could see the view without the interference of a window. It was something. Birgit the host was fluent in English. This is not the case always with an Austrian host. In summary, this apartment was a true find. Could be the best deal in Flachau

The apartment is very large and in an incredibly beautiful location. The kitchen is well equipped with all the utensils you could need. You can go hiking in the area, Saskia and Arturs know each other well and have lots of helpful tips for things to do. The two were totally friendly and helped us a lot. The apartment is highly recommended!

Andrea was a great communicator and went above and beyond as our host. Would highly recommend anyone staying here.

We had a very nice short trip at Elisabeth's. The place is in a beautiful setting and we would have liked to have stayed longer to see more. We felt very comfortable in the apartment. We'd love to come back. :)

Wonderful, responsive hostess. Bea’s apartment is cozy and chic. Apartment was clean and well equipped for our 9 day stay. Bed was comfortable. The apartment is in a private home, situated in a peaceful neighborhood. Wonderful views of the mountains. Salzburg is a quaint town where the locals are friendly and the surroundings mountains are magnificent and the nearby lakes are emerald green. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We had an amazing stay at Nora & Peter's property recently. The apartment looks even better than the photos and the view is absolutely breathtaking. We have enjoyed our tea in the balcony watching beautiful sunsets. The apartment is very well equipped and very thoughtful designed by the hosts. Everything is exceptionally clean . The kitchen was also very well stocked which was helpful for us to make meals occasionally. We also were in love with this town, loved to walk by the lake. Its so peaceful. In the summers, this lake is filled with water activities, swimming etc. There is a small convenient store 2 min down the road. Nora and Peter were constantly in touch with us and were very helpful from the start to the end. This is one of the best properties we have lived in and Nora & Peter are absolutely the best hosts which made our stay so memorable. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Tanja is an amazing host, she provided clear instructions to the apartment and check-in. When we requested she provided excellent recommendations for scenic car drives. She was very responsive. The apartment was spacious, neat and clean. Very good views in a quiet neighborhood. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Karin is a really friendly host, she always responded quickly and helped us with all our requests and questions. Glad that the check-in and check-out are flexible, because the key can be picked up independently. The apartment is very complete, everything needed for a nice stay is present. The location is great, the AreitXpress and several supermarkets are within walking distance.
