It was a small but really cozy room. Both Bente and her son were sweet, welcoming and hospitable, and by no means "intrusive". There was full respect both ways. In addition, the area around Virklund is absolutely fantastic

Bente is as she describes. In addition, the other persons in the home are also extremely hospitable and you feel like a natural part. The location of the house is beautiful with access to forest and lake. It will take a short time to get to Silkeborg if you do not want to enjoy the surroundings in Virklund either. I highly recommend staying at Bente.

We stayed in Vibeke's cozy apartment for 4 days in July 2019. The apartment is in an older building but is clean and neat, and there is everything you need. Vibeke is a helpful and friendly host. We will gladly come again.

Everything was fine and just as it is described. The keys were easily to find. The appartement is well equiped with enough space for your own things. It was a nice and pleasant stay.

At Vibeke I had a very pleasant stay, where I had everything I needed. The communication was easy and the apartment was nice, cozy and peaceful to live in, and then there was only 10 minutes walk to the station and the center.

Can only be recommended!

Last time, Bente was an incredibly welcoming and hospitable host. The kitchen / dining area has what to wear, a good bathroom completes the picture. Will come again again ....

Great place for us who wanted to experience nature, Silkeborg and Himmelbjerget for a weekend. It was nice and clean and the hosts were really helpful and pleasant. In addition, we got some company of a very adorable cat, Sitan. Recommended.

This is such a great place to stay in Silkeborg that I wish I could keep it to myself! Wonderful, helpful hosts and plenty of space -- bedroom; sitting room with TV, sofa and several armchairs; bathroom; and complete kitchen. And plenty of light from outside, although it's officially in the cellar. There's a handy little supermarket just a few minutes' walk from the house, and if you have a car, you can get anywhere in town in minutes. This is my new favorite base in Silkeborg. :-)

Good overnight stay

The house is located in a quiet corner of the lake near the forest. The place has everything you need, as a Fisherman i especially enjoyed the access to their rowboat in the garden. The lake was clean and teeming with life. The hosts are a nice couple with a wonderful house and an impressive garden.

Lovely place! Great for 2 people. Good cooking facilities and good toilet facilities. It is close to the center. The house itself is beautiful and decorated stylishly! Can definitely be recommended.

I especially liked the communication with the hosts. They answered quickly and very kindly. Also the Apartment is really clean and comfortable. I stayed there for three weeks and everything I needed was there. I enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to everyone who looks for a nice apartment in Silkeborg.

We had a wonderful weekend in Anja's home. Anja is a sweet host and the communication has been really good. It is a lovely house with everything you just need. The location is fantastic as the house is in the forest, which gives rise to coziness :-)

Great place! The cozy cabin was very much lived in– it felt like home. Great, personal touches. A great jumping off point for many other nature sights around the area.

Anja's cottage is the perfect place to relax and enjoy Denmark's beautiful forests and lakes. It's quiet, cozy at very tidy. Anja is a great host. We'd love to come back.

First I want to say, Sussi is very nice, helpful and relaxing to be with. I had five nights and would have liked to stay much longer. I was there to write so I stayed in the room a lot and it was cozy. I appreciated a good mattress. There is a private bathroom with direct access from the room. Lovely. And the bathtub that I enjoyed. I cooked every day and there was a nice, large kitchen and family room that I used for eating and relaxing. As a relaxation, I went on hikes with the two amazing 100m +/-. It had great views of the city, lakes and forest. There were only 600 meters and I was there almost every day. I also went down into town where there are several shops and church and walks along so and years. I highly recommend staying here and would love to do it again.

We stayed with Lise for a single night. It was like stepping into an adventure. No matter where you look, there is something to wonder about. Lise was extremely pleasant to communicate with, and super sweet. We got a place to sleep, and an experience to buy. Would recommend to everyone else. :-)

Spent a single night in Lise's studio, which was absolutely perfect: the place is so nice, exciting and Lise was sweet and welcoming. Would definitely book again.

Very untraditional accommodation, but very stylish and so distinctive. As a host, Lise was quick to respond and to arrive at a warm wood stove, quiet music and tremendously cozy lighting "made my day".

I was already thrilled at the thought of spending the night in a garage converted into a studio and really liked the photos on Airbnb, but still hadn't fully anticipated the feeling of stepping into a 1001 night adventure - on the occasion of Christmas at full throttle at the Christmas decorations. It was definitely an experience and I would love to come again a second time.

A nice and huge room, with small intricacies everywhere. It is very close / walking distance from both Jyske Arena and from supermarkets and lakes. Communication with Lise was super. Lise responds quickly both before, during and after her stay. We will definitely return to Aladin's cave again

Lise's place is nothing less than amazing!!! Entering the scented room with perfect lighting, filled with tasteful art, and a lit fireplace really took my breath away! It's so beautifully decorated that word's can't ever begin to describe it. A personally written letter and brochures for local takeaway restaurants was very thoughtful too. My small journey into Lise's wonderful universe, is one I will never forget. I can't wait to go back and hope to spend more time then <3

Nice place to spend the night. You are very private with Sebastian and family. It feels like you have your own bath and you have your own entrance. You can use the kitchen as you please and the host is very hospitable. Great place if you need one or more nights

It was a really good stay. Inga was easy to get in touch with as our arrival was a bit late and the room and surroundings were impeccable!

The setting is exceptional and the town of Silkeborg is ideally located for exploring Jutland. The room and the equipments (bathroom, kitchen and tidying up) are qualities.

The accommodation is fine, the room not so big, the beds nice, good kitchenette with all the necessary cutlery, porcelain glass etc., nice bathroom and fridge and freezer. But the very best was the terrace and the view. The picture is exactly as it looks, one has its own access to the lake and full view from the terrace. And then right by the forest. And briefly to Silkeborg. We would have liked to stay longer and come again :-)

Really beautiful place with an amazing view. There are two rooms, bit we were lucky there was no one else so had everything for ourselves. The room was big enough. You can go for a nice walk around the place. There is beautiful nature there! Inga is a lovely lady who was there to welcome us. We felt really welcome.

You feel welcome in Torbens lovely house. Quiet location, close to Silkeborg. Room with 2 beds, and some private place to chill out a bit. You're free to use kitchen and bathroom. And grab a Danish beer🙂. Highly recommended place.

What a cozy and beautiful cottage with the right amount of amenities to make you feel like you can do what you need while you're there and at the same time the feeling of going back to a simpler time with a fireplace , carpet on the floor (which was nice because we were there in September and it really helped keep our feet warm), and the older furniture that helped with the feeling of coziness. When you have a car, the cottage is perfectly located when it comes to the city of Silkeborg, where you can do everything from museums, restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. Getting to the center by car is only 14 minutes away. We really enjoyed our stay there and loved going out all day and then coming home in the evening to cook and enjoy the fire. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone thinking of going to this area of Jutland. Else is a really attentive host who responds quickly to messages and is present in her interaction with you. A clear recommendation from here! Thank you for borrowing your lovely cottage Else ☺️ The PS. If you choose to go to Silkeborg, we would suggest you take a trip with Hjerlen (the world's oldest active wheel steamer) to Himmelbjerget, and enjoy a picnic and a walk there before heading back again with Hjejlen.

This lovely cottage by the lake and river is a good old-fashioned holiday home, you will be completely nostalgic when you step in the door. With the Gudenåen and Sminge lake close by, however, beautiful nature and abundant wildlife are guaranteed. A true little gem.

We had a really nice stay

The house is cool and comfortable! The beds are wonderful, this is the main thing that we managed to appreciate overnight. Liked the area around the house. We did not have a car, but there is parking. Everything is equipped for housing. And cool trampoline in the yard!

Can only give positive comments, Sebastian's residence is located in a nice, quiet and quiet neighborhood and close to Silkeborg center. Very nice communication with Sebastian, so should the trip go to Silkeborg, I can recommend this accommodation, we have 8 fantastic days.

Fat house

Location was good with 5 min drive to city center. Main bedroom bed was comfortable and we slept well. We also used the washing machine for laundry. Replies for my messages were really quick.

I Travel to Silkeborg 2x a year and this will certainly be my first choice as accommodation.

We searched a room along the bicycle route 4 to Copenhagen at our second stop in Them. Therefore Elin's apartment was perfect. She had a safe place at the garden, where we left our bikes. The apartment was nice, with lots of details and we had dinner in the sun in the garden - that was quiet nice. The communication was very friendly. So, Elin, thank you very much, we had a very nice stay!

Nice and cosy room, and the kitchen and the bathroom was shared with the other visitors. I had very friendly hosts who made my visit comfortable. The environment in Virklund was beautiful and peaceful: pure nature, beautiful lake and nice trails to walk or run - and just next to the house! I used to cycle with the bike that Bente lent me for my period, because I did not have my own car. There is good road for cycling to the city. There is a bus stop is near by the house, so it was also easy to take the bus to the city.

I very much enjoyed my three night stay at Henriks appartment. Sparkling clean, stylish and practical sized for one or two persons. A beautiful view from the first floor and the center of Silkeborg is located only 3 km away.

Great apartment! Tiny house style. It has all you need for a great stay. The place is brand new, well equipped and interior decoration is really nice with lots of attention te detail. Really cosy and warm. Stayed here for 4 nights, but you could easily spend weeks here. All you need, including a huge TV with Apple TV, a well equipped kitchen (microwave/oven, fridge, Induction plate, etc), bathroom with big shower. Even had lots of candles! I can definitely recommend the place. It's along a relatively busy road, but at night there's hardly any traffic and the bedroom is in the back of the house. Great central place in Jutland to explore the surroundings.

Henrik is very friendly. The apartment brand new and spotless.

The apartment is new and it feels. During our stay some equipment was missing but nothing blocking for our stay. The hosts are lovely and even lent us kayaks for a long walk on the lake. Moreover, the lakes are easily accessible and you reserve incredible walks. I recommend !
