The supermarket is 6 minutes by car (Okajima: open 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM) To the east, south, and west, there are mountains, and no private homes. 5-minute drive to Tsuru Country Club and Tsuru Golf Club. There is a municipal hot spring, Basho Tsukimachi-no-Yu, a 7-minute drive away, and there is also a high-quality hot spring in the mountains, which I highly recommend (open 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM, closed Mondays). The TV is a smart TV, and there is no cable TV (terrestrial B and BS). Guests can watch YouTube as guests. You can use your own account to watch Netflix and other services, but please delete your personal information when you check out. Welcome to Richard Flavin's Washi House! Richard Flavin (1943–2020) was a Japanese paper artist originally from the US. He studied design in Boston and came to Japan in 1970. He later studied woodblock printing and developed a deep interest in the production of washi. He also cultivated the raw material for washi paper, paper mulberry. We invite those interested in washi paper and art to stay overnight and enjoy this space, reminiscent of a washi paper museum, including these unfinished areas.

This is the Kominka style BNB in Yamanakako. “Hirano no Hama” A 8 min walk to the breathtaking view of Mt Fuji overlooking the lake. Only a 5 min walk from the Hirano highway bus terminal to connect “Busta Shinjuku” / Tokyo Sta. Tourists in the most walkable neighborhoods of Hirano ward will find a car isn't necessary to get around.
