A little further south we find about 20km Mari ermi, Is Arutas until we reach San Giovanni di Sinis with its evocative promontory that divides the living sea from the dead sea with the archaeological area of Tharros.

The cottage on Via Pia is a historic 1880s house, typically built with local stone: the black basalt of the Abbasanta plateau.
