Hiking trails in the immediate vicinity, and about 5 minutes walking distance to grocery store and bus stop. Several nearby public sandy beaches and a short drive to Øystese bathing land.

Breathtaking views of the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. There is a lot of eagles, especially sea eagles, but also golden eagles. Follow us on insta on Birdbox Sotra If you want to rent a kayak, we recommend northernexposure.

Charming, classic home with an idyllic location by the fjord. Centrally located, with just a short walk across the bridge to downtown Norheimsund. You'll get the view of the fjord, mountains and the beautiful Folgefonna glacier. The home has 3 floors with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 living rooms, a conservatory and kitchen. During summer, you can swim by the sandy beach or enjoy a walk along the promenade. In winter, the ski slopes and track by Kvamskogen and Sjusete are only 15 mins away.

A small apartment for those who need a place one night or two or even a whole week. No luxury, but If you go out the door you can take the morning bath in the sea. Catch your own dinner from the pier. The apartment consists of bathroom and living room. Cozy cottage by the sea with a view of the Hardangerfjord. The cabin has a 60s interior with its own warm atmosphere. Well equipped kitchen. Kitchen and living room in the same room. Bathroom with underfloor heating. Bedroom 1 has a double bed. Bedroom 2 has a single bed. Bedroom no. 3 has 2 single beds and a separate entrance from the terrace. Morning sun in the cabin wall to the east. Terrace to the west. You can drive to the door. The cabin is suitable for a family, couple or friends.

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken- tunet- Os. In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the tranquility. There are also great hiking trails close by.

Meisehaugen - charming cabin with nice outdoor area

Meisehaugen is a unique place. It is located in the middle of Norheimsund and Øystese. The road goes all the way up and there is parking behind the cabin. The view is great, with Folgefonna in the front. Oak forest and apple orchard frame the grounds and birds and flowers make the garden good to be in. The cabin with annex can house 7 adults. We also have a travel bed and chair for infants. The hiking possibilities are many, and it is easy to travel by car, bus and bike.

"Drengstovo" with a lovely view in Hardanger

Drengstova", an apartment that is located in the barn with a private balcony facing the fjord, Sørfjorden. At the dock it’s nice to take a bath, fish or just enjoy the view. Fogefonna sommerskisenter is one houer by car from us. There are many fine hiking in the surrounding area. The most famous are Trolltunga, Oksen and the waterfalls in Husedalen,Kinsarvik. It's nice to cycle along the fjord into Agatunet or against Utne with Utne hotel, and Hardanger Folkemuseeum .

Furnished apartment, with all you need of plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, pans, etc. The house is completely by the sea, and only a short kilometer from Norheimsund city center, where you will find most of groceries, cinema, beach, some resturants, hairdresser, etc. There are many nice mountain walks to reach right outside the door. It's a small apartment, so if there are more than two, it can get a little crowded.

Welcome to our light, and bright gousthouse by the woods , overlooking the Hardangerfjord. The house is made in wood, glass and slate.
