The Red Velvet Inn, was quite the surprise!! Denise has done an incredible job preserving a slice of history and paying it forward with proceeds going to canine rescue efforts. What a treat! Everything is so thoughtful and whimsical. Daisy was a delight as well! The trains lulled me to sleep in the most nostalgic way. I give Ms. Denise kudos for her efforts and the Red Velvet Inn 10 stars!!! And--shall we talk about the cupcake? OMG the cupcake is worth the stay alone! I confess, I booked this place sheerly because of the name and because my grandmother made Red Velvet Cake for all of my birthdays when I was a child. Thank you, Red Velvet Inn for taking me down memory lane in the most delicious way!

The Red Velvet Inn is beautifully restored and near to Washington County attractions plus Texas A&M. It is a quiet get away from the hectic daily life. We would return if headed that direction again.

May look different on the outside but, truly beautiful on the inside. It’s one of those “don’t judge a book by its cover” type of place. Amazing place.

My stay at Denise’s was great! It was a super clean, convenient location. Also, Denise was awesome at communicating, giving local tips, and accommodating my gluten free diet. I would recommend staying at her inn!

This house is an amazing location, at an even better price. All the rooms and common areas are beautiful. The red velvet cupcake that was left for us, along with a binder telling the hosts story and before and after pictures of the renovated property are wahat make this place even better than a regular hotel or bed and breakfast stay! I’m looking for a reason to go back to Navasota to stay here!

CLEAN freaks will love this space. Denise has thought of everything to make you comfortable. Well stocked kitchen and a beautiful yard if you bring your fur babies.

Impeccable taste! If you love old architecture and history this is a great place to stay. I would also recommend the Western Bar and Grille for a night of dancing! Only a 5 minute drive from the inn.

Rhonda was a super host! So attentive and welcoming. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and she had birthday party fun surprises when we got there. The house was wonderful and clean and had everything we needed plus! Will definitely go back.

Rhonda goes above and beyond for her clients ! She left drinks in the fridge for the kids and even had toys for them to play with! We loved our stay and plan to stay here again in the future! What an awesome experience and beautiful home!

Ms. Rhonda is an excellent hostess, very communicative. You can tell she is very proud of her home and wants guests to feel as if they were in their own home.

You can expect a BEAUTIFUL home with kind hosts. They really try their best to make you feel at home and comfortable. They were very kind and left me a graduation present and enough food to make breakfast for six which we greatly appreciated. The directions were a bit confusing, but once you find it, the Cozy Cottage is absolutely wonderful!

Rhonda’s hospitality was amazing. She thought of so many personal touches that made my family’s stay simply wonderful. The house is adorable, warm, cozy, relaxing, and spotless!! We definitely did not want to leave. Everything, just everything was perfect!! Rhonda and her husband were so helpful in providing tips and advice about the town. Their suggestions were great and made us fall in love with Navasota!! I can’t say enough good things! Simply the best!!

While drinking coffee on the patio, looked up to see a dinosaur nestled in a large patch of paperwhites in the backyard....good coffee and laughter! A great way to start the day!

This place was perfect! My partner and I had an amazing time enjoying the spot and all the additional special touches Christene put on it. The check-in was easy, the place was beyond beautiful and clean, and the additional amenities were exactly what we needed and exceeded our expectations. Definitely a place we’ll come again!

Beautiful old house and loved the little touches Christene has around the house and the back porch in the evening or morning was awesome just listening to nature.

The front porch is so comfy and adorable. Christene just added rockers and glider. It was cold and rainy this week but couldn't resist sitting in a rocker on porch to enjoy this small town neighborhood for a few moments.....no traffic noise, sirens or any metropolitan racket!! What a joy!

Great place for a game weekend! Mary is an outstanding host!

I highly recommend Mary's place. She is so close to campus so getting around is so easy. Plus, she was so thoughtful in helping ensure we had the best experience possible on our stay. She knows College Station, the campus, nightlife, food options - you name it. Her home is in a quiet home neighborhood so it was perfect to come back to at the end of each day and relax from being on campus, Midnight Yell and the game. The home is incredibly furnished - Mary has thought of everything from toiletries to food - there is nothing to worry about. The decor is so warm and inviting - I cannot say enough positive things about our stay and plan to come again.

My husband and I and my parents came to College Station this football weekend to go to the game and visit our two Aggie sons. We had a wonderful stay at Mary's house. Everything was clean, and the fact that Mary was staying there as well was not an issue at all. She left some cereals and to-go breakfast items out for us, and her coffee bar was great! We would definitely stay at Mary's house again!

We enjoyed staying at Mary’s home. We were a little apprehensive since she lives in the home, but she made us feel very comfortable. Very close to A&M!

Mary's place is great for a quick (or not so quick) stop at College Station. We came here for a 1 day conference, but I was impressed by the nicely decorated, clean house and all the record players. The cute pets were very friendly and Mary was responsive and a warm host.

Austin’s place was above all expectations. Very very clean, amazing price and close to restaurants and a grocery store. A short drive to city centre College Station and the University. We loved our stay and highly recommend Auston’s place to other travellers.

This was a great place to get away from everyday life. The place is very stylish and homey. The TV is AMAZING for watching Netflix. Nice quiet neighborhood in a great location!

Very clean cabin with nice space. A good little drive off hwy 6, about 30 min from cstat. Pretty long gravel road to get to ranch. Everything as expected. If you plan to enjoy outdoor patio, bring comfy chairs as there is only a picnic table. Also, one little packet of coffee was provided. Very cool to see cattle roaming and beautiful country landscape. Thank you!

What a beautiful and inviting piece of property! The moment my family stepped in we felt at right at home. Every detail was thought out even down to a lighter, starter log and a wood pile which produced 2 blissful nights of S'mores making for my 7 y/o daughter. The lack of T.V. was my FAVORITE part, lots of bonding and exploring instead🤗 We will be back!

Wonderful place.

This is such a cute place, we reserved for a sister weekend, and my two sisters and I have been many places and been disappointed a few times, but not this time. The layout is unusual with the kitchen and sleeping area upstairs, but there is a dining table downstairs which worked out great for snacks and stuff we didn't want to go up and down for, we found a couple trays that we filled with ice to keep things that needed to stay cold, cold, and once we settled in for the night we did not care that we were upstairs. There are also bathrooms up and downstairs which was a huge help as we spent most of our time sitting out on the back porch. The coyotes really ramped up after dark which was very cool to listen to, they were off in the distance. This is the place to go for country sounds for sure, donkeys, and roosters, etc. There was a neat little fire laid for us, which started up immediately, good job to whoever laid that fire. The horses were friendly but we let them down by forgetting to bring carrots or apples. We locked ourselves out upon leaving despite numerous warnings, but what happened was when we went to bed for the night we locked the dead bolt and the knob lock, so when we went out and closed the door on check out we had forgotten the fob to unlock the gate was still inside the house and we couldn't open the door again. It was completely our fault and Arline helped us out instantly, but really please pay attention because she's not always going to be there, we lucked out. We really enjoyed our stay, you cannot go wrong with Arline as your host.

Perfect for a quiet escape. All kinds of room and very comfortable.

The Treehouse is a lovely place to come and relax. My husband and I enjoyed the fire pit in the arbor in the evenings. The bed was very comfortable, and she even has a box fan for those of you who like noise while you sleep. The full kitchen has everything you would need to cook meals. The bathroom is fully stocked with just about anything you would need in case you forget something. There is a small TV that will play DVDs if you would like to bring some. It is a lovely place in the country, but it is close to make daytrips to Bryan/College Station, Brenham, Navasota, Chappel Hill, and other towns. We also enjoyed visiting Washington-on-the-Brazos State Park which is just down the road. The views were amazing, and I can't imagine what they look like during wildflower season. We are looking forward to coming back!

This place is wonderful! The place is on a farm and is beautiful. The house is very rustic and definitely fits as a farmhouse. The area itself is very beautiful and not very far from town. Will be staying here again when we find ourselves in the area.

Debbies place is an excellent Airbnb. Her home was beautifully decorated and very clean. The value of this stay was outstanding. I will definitely try to stay here when I’m ever back in the area!

Debbie takes good care of here place. You will like the area it has lots of stores restaurants. Even a car wash which I really needed. Close to everything and if you like walking or jogging it’s great for that. Safe and friendly area. You can get to your car easily from the house. Plenty of parking room.

Debbie was a great host and very welcoming and accommodating. We only stayed for one night but enjoyed the space and location was very convenient.

I had a great stay here for 2 nights. Nice residential area. Bed was super comfy, bathroom was impeccably clean. Coming and going was easy with the keypad. Grocery and restaurants close by and close access to Hwy 6. I really just needed a place to sleep while I attended a workshop during the day. Worked perfectly for me! I would stay here again.

Debbie was an excellent host. Having little experience with Airbnb, she communicated the process well and was very welcoming! Even though I only stayed for a night, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again next time I’m in College Station. Thanks for making this a great and stress-free experience!

Taylor & Tyson’s place was great for our weekend trip to watch some Aggie baseball. The house was super clean in a very nice neighborhood close to restaurants and not far from the university. Would certainly book again!

7D is so amazing. I came here for a wedding and it was beautiful, the staff was amazing. Honestly, I would go back just for a quiet, beautiful trip away. I definitely recommend staying here. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed.

Plenty of room, very comfortable atmosphere, a/c is awesome for when you need the quick cool down. Plenty of fish in the pond.

Place is great. Send all of my guys to stay in the cabins while working in the area, such a nice quiet get away at the end of the day.

Our stay at 7D was amazing! We loved the pond, paddle boats, toddler friendly activities and gorgeous sunset. Ms. Carolyn was extra nice and hospitable and Brit was very responsive. Definitely recommend this place and we’ll be back soon!

This place was really nice and out of the way I really enjoyed the stay.

Lyz was an awesome host. She gave us great directions and helped us on our way in. Once we got there she checked us in and we got settled. She put out food and water bowls for our dog and pointed us in the direction of the nearest restaurant. The place was clean and exactly what we wanted. She put out earplugs so when the roosters roost we were able to sleep. ( I would recommend playing some sleep sounds to help driving out the noise. If you are in the area I highly recommend staying here!!!

We had a great weekend at The Chicken Coop. We were looking for a place to stay so we could attend an event in Navasota and Lyz's place was perfect! Our dogs were able to travel with us, which is a plus! As noted in the description, we had no (or very limited at times) cell service, which was enjoyed as we were able to easily unplug for a weekend. Definitely will consider returning if we are looking for a place to stay in this area again!

Nice space to visit and just what we needed. All the amenities were there and a nice wake up call from the roosters.

Delightful, charming, and as-described. The Coop is a rustic retreat nestled far from most built places. Lyz and Gustavo are great hosts: straightforward and offered help with accommodations if needed. It is a great respite for someone/s looking to separate themselves from city life, or if on a work trip in the area. Do note, however, that the roosters are real, as are the natural alarm clocks they provide. Bring ear plugs or the like if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise, you'll have ample time each morning to enjoy the sunrise and work on that fourth cup of coffee.

Perfect country getaway. Excellent walking neighborhood for our morning stroll with the dogs. Everything you could possibly need is there. Lyz was very nice and made sure we were comfortable when we checked in (including the dogs). Horses and chickens were beautiful 😍. Loved our stay and would love to come back if staying near Houston again. Thank you!!

What a sweet place to stay! Lyz was very welcoming and informative. The space is comfy and had everything we needed for our short stay. We loved greeting the horses, giving them treats, and admiring all the chickens. You may expect some animal sounds, however, it’s well worth the time away from freeways and the city. The walk to the lake was even closer to the home and more beautiful than we imagined! The location was perfect for staying the night before the Renaissance Festival - about 20 mins away AND we basically skipped the long lines leading into the park - all while enjoying the scenic drive.

Great safe location, quiet, clean, comfortable. I stayed here for 2 weeks while I took a course in Hempstead. After long days this little cottage was perfect to come back to with WIFI, hot water, AC/HEAT unit, and a comfortable bed. I even utilized the small weights which were a plus! Can't forget to mention the washer and dryer, that was nice not having to find a laundromat. Sarah was always quick in communication which was greatly appreciated. I am back in the area about once a year for additional training and this would be my first choice to stay.

Expect Texan hospitality on a working flower farm. The sunrise arising across the pond is worth your time to observe it’s glory beaming across the water. I hope to return again.

This is such a cozy cottage on a beautiful working flower farm. Our hosts, Georgia and Jordan, we very accessible. We had a chance to visit the flower fields, the chickens and the barn cats, too. The sunflowers are just stunning. The bed was great, very comfy. Plenty of pillows and blankets if needed. Kitchen is perfect for making meals and all the necessities are provided. The location is perfect if you are visiting College Station or want to explore nearby communities like Brenham. We look forward to a spring visit to see the new blooms.

This is a lovely little house about 10 outside of Brenham. It is super cute, super clean, and super quiet and peaceful. It is easy to find with the directions given and communication with Natalia is first rate. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is your place. Oh and there is a fabulous covered back porch!

Natalia's home was beyond my expectations. It is a beautiful cottage that has been well maintained and it is obvious that lots of though went into making the garden a very special place. I visited with my children and we had a wonderful time carving pumpkins and making meals in the kitchen. Everything we needed was in the house. This beautiful cottage is definitely secluded. If you visit, be prepared to only hear silence when enjoying a cup of coffee in the gardens. We look forward to a future stay in this beautiful home. I really appreciated Natalia's communication with me prior to our stay.

Julia was a fantastic host! We will definitely stay again when visiting family or just want a quick weekend getaway. We loved how all the rooms had a different theme. With a little bit about each room. Sitting on the front porch drinking coffee while listening to the birds chirp and the horse graze was one of my favorite moments. Not to mention the cute vegetable garden next to the house.

If you’re looking to unplug and reach total relaxation mode, this is your place. A roomy establishment with a cozy fireplace, nestled away on a working ranch. Full shower/bath, and a comfy king sized bed in the master. We picked some fresh rosemary, peppers and green onions from the garden that really kicked up a steak dinner we had planned. Take your time on the windy roads, but venture out to the surrounding small towns and get schooled with some good old fashioned Texas history.

We had an awesome stay. The house was clean and stylish, and it was a great value. About 30 minutes from College Station, this is a good location for football games without breaking the bank. Julie was friendly and hospitable - she even baked us a cake as a welcome gift. We would stay here again for sure!

Extremely exceeded our expectations. Was perfect for our family of 6. The entire place is decorated beautiful and had personalized touches in every room. No bugs like there typically is in country homes. Perfect country get away.

I rented Julia's Country Cottage for a weekend family gathering and it was perfect! We all enjoyed it and it was the perfect place to spend time together. We really liked sitting on the front porch in the evenings and mornings. We also enjoyed the good-sized kitchen while we prepared meals. The Cottage was very clean and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and allowed for a good night's sleep. The location is ideal to explore nearby towns and learn about the history of Texas, and is also a short drive to College Station. The price is unbeatable! Everyone in my family enjoyed their stay here and was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again! I highly recommend!

Beautiful above the garage apartment. Close to Aggies stadium. Lori is a great host even to opposing team fans “Roll Tide”. She had a map with tips for us ready and then she even stayed around to give us directions on where we should go and let us know what roads would be closed so we wouldn’t park that direction. Apartment is great. Neighborhood is beautiful! Enjoyed our visit to College Station. It was a great town to visit wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a great “cabin in the woods” experience. Rustic, cozy, incredibly peaceful, wonderfully quiet!

The cabin in the woods was absolutely perfect in every way. Lots of space to walk and enjoy your surroundings, dog friendly, clean, warm, and cozy. We arrived on a temperate afternoon but a storm came in and the weather turned very cold. The house stayed warm with the wood stove, we never needed the electric heaters or heated mattress pad. We loved cooking on the grill and snuggling on the porch with a nice cup of tea. We never left the property from the time we arrived. It is the perfect place for a long weekend away from the city. I hope next time we can stay longer.

This place was perfect for traveling with our dogs. Such a cute cabin. Really pretty area tucked away. It’s about 18-20 minutes from the HEB and Walmart in Brenham so it’s not right in the middle of town but the drive was easy and it was right next to the wedding venue we were there for. Host was easy to contact. The only concern was that we weren’t able to lock the cabin when we left for any period of time and that made me nervous. Overall a great value and a cool place to stay and get away.

Justin is an incredible host. We were coming down and just needed a place to crash for a night and were running way later than anticipated. Justin was super cool about us getting there so late and even stayed up to greet us. The room and bathroom were super clean and we slept like babies.

I would recommend Evgeney C’s place to anyone visiting College Station for personal or business travel. It’s clean, very cozy, quiet and in a very quiet neighborhood about 12 minutes from the Texas A&M campus, but near everything you need (gas, groceries, restaurants, highway, etc). The room, though up front, is very private and the bathroom is just for the guest. The coded entry and flexible check-in time was ideal and street or driveway parking was available for my vehicle. There were lots of nice touches and extras - including a welcome note, bottled water, well-lit, workspace, coffee maker, fruit and snacks, plenty of electrical outlets, ceiling fan, room key, WIFI, extra toiletries in the bathroom and lots of places to hang towels and clothes. Evgeney is a very warm and welcoming host, but is also sure to give each guest their privacy. She is also communicates with each guest well - sending me several notes in advance about check-in, parking, what to expect, etc. and also answering any questions that I had. Again, I would recommend Evgeney’s place for your next visit to College Station!

One of the best families I have ever encountered ! Gene is a wonderful person and has a very kind heart. In fact I felt she is like an 'angel' and preferred calling her that way. I was much happier during my 1 week stay and have decided that any future stays in Texas will be at Gene's place. I frequently visit college station and now I know where to go !! Felt like family (home away from home). Wishing we always stay connected. Recommend her place to all those who love to be organised and be left at peace.

This town home is beautiful! It looked really nice in the pictures, but was not expecting it to be as nice as it was. Private patio upstairs, and great kitchen/living room for entertaining. Will definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful townhome! We were in town to visit Santa’s Wonderland and needed a place to spend the night. Page’s home was perfect for our needs with a great location. Beautifully decorated. Communication was easy and she responded very quickly. We would definitely recommend this townhome and stay there again!

Quaint and quiet...great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life! Centrally located to visit Brenham, Round Top, The painted churches and the Sherwood Forest Faire as well as lots of other places.

Midge’s retreat is gorgeous . Beautiful serene setting in such a peaceful location . I truly appreciated Midge’s hospitality! She gave me very helpful hints on the area about places to visit , restaurants and quaint shopping areas. This was exactly the place you would hope to spend some time in !!

A lovely room set in a wonderful home with outstanding hosts. I stayed 3 weeks and can honestly say this has been my best experience with Airbnb. Michael is a wonderful host - very responsive and thoughtful. The spaces, kitchen, laundry, family room, and bedroom are well equipped and nicely organized and the bath room is beautifully designed and spacious. Loved being able to spend relaxing time with Gus, the super friendly dog!! Will be back for sure - this is a real home away from home!!

The master bed room was better than I expected. Although I didn’t use it, there is a small jacuzzi in the master bath.

We had a great stay at the West Cabin! The grounds are so peaceful, and you can tell that Blackwood is a very special place.

This is a great, quiet place to get away and enjoy nature and growing food the right way. Exploring the property is so much fun and the dinner with the Chef is an absolute must do.

Such a cute little cabin in the sticks! Super clean, quite, and peaceful - my wife had some of the best sleep she has had in a while! The outside shower was memorable for the both us, seeing as it was 40 degrees out ;) really not that bad as you would think taking a shower outdoors. It is part of the highlight of this place! Would definitely stay again and likely for more than 1 night!

This place is even more incredible than it seems online. It is AMAZING!! I wanted to rent the cabin indefinitely. There is such peace in the cabin and on the grounds. I saw the stars! It had been entirely too long since I’ve been anywhere where that would be possible, and at first sight of them I realized what a tragedy that is. There are such serendipitous surprises in the surrounding woods and on the grounds, too. This place is worth so much more. I will definitely be back.

Blackwood land and the cabin were absolutely wonderful! It was quiet and peaceful. My son and I began each morning with a walk through the trails in the woods and around the farm. We relished the sound of rain on the tin roof and were sorry we didn't have a chance to use the outside shower. This land is about 15 minutes away from my dad's house and we enjoyed both the visit with family and having our own little vacation. Absolutely wonderful! We met Cath and she is warm and delightful. Come taste a little piece of solitude and peace in this corner of the woods.

This place is a must do...the perfect getaway, loved the wrap around windows, the outdoor shower, open setting, outdoor fire pit,and pizza oven on the opposite side...Tom greeted us Bella greeted us,the chickens,greeted us,the birds greeted us,sasquatch greeted us... kidding just acorns hitting a metal roof...all around great place,such a blessing, I think God's Angel's hang out there!!! Can't wait to go back.

What a great place to hang out on the Winter Solstice. Lovely cabin, lovely grounds to stroll around. The cabin was spotless. We even braved the outdoor shower in winter--which was far less "shocking to the system" as we thought. Highly recommend. The communication was quick and clear, the directions to finding the cabin were clear. Highly recommend.

What a relaxing and quick getaway from Austin! Nothing fancy but still comfortable - and close to the cute little towns of Brenham and Chapel Hill! The hot tub was wonderful to lounge in on the chilly evening’s with a nice glass of wine, the breakfast was a lovely, convenient touch, and the robes were a comfy surprise! Great for quality time with your beau or just for quiet time alone. Would definitely recommend!

Barbara is very sweet and quick to respond to all calls. My husband and I enjoyed the secluded cabin. The eggs, pancakes, sausage, and coffee were the perfect touch to our couple’s getaway. We loved the outdoor jacuzzi and nature-filled surroundings. I watched a hawk fly overhead and listened to the other birds chirp in the morning. The cows mooing and donkey’s nehing were the best for our need to unplug from our busy lives. I was worried about not having cell phone service but T-mobile did work in parts of the property and not hearing the phone constantly ‘buzzing’ was definitely an unexpected PLUS!! We really appreciate Barbara sharing God’s gift with others. We recommend this place to all!!

My husband and I have a hobby of traversing through Texas, finding quaint getaway cabins with beautiful scenery and great amenities. We have been doing this for 20 years now, and Lillian Farms has been one of our most spectacular finds! We loved Southern Comfort - it’s so cozy- with a comfortable king size bed, a screened porch , hot tub, and deck with a barbecue grill- all facing the woods. We watched fireflies and deer, heard coyotes in the evening, and saw and heard many different birds in the morning. I highly recommend this getaway. It’s close to Brenham where you will find quaint shops, great places to eat, wineries, antique stores, and even a local chocolate factory.

We stayed here for a wedding in Plantersville. Decided to make an adventure out of the trip instead of staying at the wedding accommodations. Cabin was comfortable and welcoming. We are thinking to rebook and make a whole weekend out of it next time!

Our party was pleasantly surprised by the charm and great hospitality this property had to offer. It was very spacious and had everything we needed and more. Loved that there was two seperate bathrooms for each room. The property is beautiful and fun to explore. We enjoyed waking up to a herd of cattle just beyond the fence. The host was extremely accommodating and we highly recommend this tucked away retreat.

The experience was like no other. Beautiful scenery, rolling hills, livestock, the pond, the swings...all was more than expected. Very quaint location, we all felt like we were on the set of Little House on the Prairie. :)

My family and I absolutely loved this place and can't wait to go back. The kids loved the paddle boating and I loved the peacefulness and open space. The cabin itself has everything you need, I was able to make a full Christmas dinner with no problem. The owners really thought of everything, from foil I forgot, to pans, cups, utensils, fire wood, charcoal, lighter fluid, bottled water, towels, even shampoo and soap all provided. We enjoyed the satellite channels after dark. The 2 showers had plenty of hot water and the beds were comfy. The only thing I could've wished for was for the cabins and surrounding area to have been decorated with Christmas lights to really set the holiday mood. There is a very cute general store on property that would look adorable decorated with lights. This of course no way took away from the great time we had though. Thank you for a memorable Christmas Eve and Day!

The 7D Cabins are wonderful. The interior is surprisingly modern with a great little kitchen and living space. The beds are very comfortable. Nice and quiet with enough outdoor space to hangout outside.
