My cottage is located in the climatic health resort Bärnkopf, a small place in the middle of the Weinsberg Forest at almost 1000 meters above sea level. Here, the sun shines very often while in the valley of the fog and the nights are starry. There is a good infrastructure - shop, restaurant, many hiking trails, a swimming pond and in winter a wide network of cross-country trails. In the vicinity, you will also find Rappottenstein Castle, the Arbesbach Bear Forest, the Ysperklamm Gorge and, of course, a lot of untouched nature.

A small nice house with about 70 m ² of living space in a quiet location, on the Johannesweg, 4 km to the thermal spa and 25 minutes by car from Linz. Our house was built in 1974 and completely renovated in 2019. Therefore, it is modernly furnished and very cozy. Here you can relax, unwind or take a break on the Johannesweg with a 3-day pilgrimage and feel the magic of the mill district. Due to our network of riding trails of about 700 km on the Mühlviertel-Alm, we are always looking forward to hiking riders!

Completely newly renovated, 650-year-old old town apartment, just a 5-minute walk from the city center in an absolute quiet location in the beautiful Wehrgraben right next to the Steyr River. Special features are antique furniture, marble bathroom with underfloor heating, original wooden flooring combined with modern amenities inconspicuously embedded in the charming ambience. We are located 100m away from the center of Grein. 150m from the train station. 200m away from the Donau. It is very peaceful here. The apartment is located in our house, but it has a separate entrance. So it is private. There are several places to eat, not too far away from us. There is a pharmacy right up the street and 2 local supermarkets. The city tax is 2,20€ per person per night. By Austrian law I am required to input your passport information into the Austrian data base.

This is a breathtaking place for people who really want peace and nature, far away from everything else. Meadow, forest, fresh air and mountains. There are deer, chickens, cats and bees here. The apartment is on a farm, alone in the middle of a large clearing, which I build as an organic farm with permaculture.
