Welcome to our romantic cute cabin. Perfect for a quiet getaway in a beautiful semi-rural location close to A3 and award winning Grayshott village with restaurants, cafes, pub and pottery nearby. Walk straight from the doorstep into the Surrey Hills and down to the South Downs National Park. Available room only mid-week or with breakfast at weekends (extra charge of £10 pp). For larger groups the Little Barn can be booked in conjunction with our Boutique larger oak barn (also listed).
This cosy and compact oak barn was inspired by our stay in a rough sewn timber ski lodge. We aim to give our guests a warm welcome and 'away from it all' experience in our stunning semi-rural location. The style is boutique with a seriously comfortable king-sized bed and en-suite facilities including shower; full tea and coffee making facilities and Satellite flat screen TV. Tucked away with its own front door the little barn is on the edge of our garden and driveway.
There are many places to go and see in the area and we are nestled in the Surrey Hills and on the edge of the South Downs National Park. We can arrange horse riding from our lane, cycles can be hired locally. You can walk directly from your front door onto Waggoners Wells National Trust or to The Devils Punch Bowl National Trust and cafe. Cowdray polo at Midhurst and Goodwood are both equally accessible. Haslemere train station is a few miles (10 mins by taxi) and is a main line with London Waterloo 50 mins and Portsmouth 20 mins in the opposite direction.
  • This is a lovely space, great for exploring the beautiful countryside in the area. Would certainly stay again.

  • A genuine beautiful stay. This was truly a rare find and an ideal getaway for time out and to reflect or just have some quiet time with you and a loved one. I stayed alone and could not fault this cabin one bit. It was clean, warm, stylish and ready-made environment to just relax and unwind. The room looks exactly as displayed in the phots. There are so many intricate details of the interior you would be amazed can fit in such a small space. Even the shower was luxurious. I will definitetly be back out here again. Amazing and helpful host, I could go on but really this is a charm and a rare find in my books. I loved it and wish them more success in sharing this beautiful space!

  • A lovely little cabin in a semirural location 15 miles from Guildford. Basic, but sufficient facilities, with good wifi, TV and a fairly powerful shower. It's cosy, but not cramped. Overall, a very comfortable stay.

We just stayed for 1 night but found the check in process and all comms from Mark very easy and fast. Excellent location for walking or just exploring the Surrey Hills/South Downs. Highly recommend the breakfast if you have the chance. We would have loved to stay for a few more nights. Highly recommended.

It’s close to pubs and restaurants, as well as lovely natural beauty - we went on a walk around the Devil’s Punch Bowl which was fantastic! Mark and Janice were friendly and welcoming, and we would recommend the cabin to all.

Fantastic self contained little barn conversion a few minutes from Haslemere and the surrounding villages. Perfectly cosy place to begin or end a walking holiday in the beautiful countryside on our doorstep, or as a short overnight stop whilst visiting friends or relatives.
The Little Barn is a recently converted space which provides everything you need for a short stay. With its own private entrance, it has a comfortably furnished living space with a vaulted ceiling and loads of natural light. Also a sofa bed and wide screen TV with Sky Q and Chromecast, a DVD player, a beautifully finished shower room with large rain shower. The kitchen area has a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, small induction hob and a Nespresso machine (and a few capsules to keep you going!) as well as all crockery and cutlery needed for simple meals. Breakfast isn’t included as we’d have to interrupt you to bring it over. A small (but steep) flight of stairs takes you to the galleried bedroom with a double bed and premium bed linen. There is parking directly outside the property and we ask that you park directly in front of the garage to allow other vehicles on and off the driveway.
Just step out of the door and you can explore the area through a maze of public footpaths. Also great for keen mountain bikers! Horse riding, clay shooting and course fishing are available in the area. A walk across Bramshott Common takes you to a wonderful pub with great food! But if its wet you will need wellies!!! Walk, cycle or drive to National Trusts Blackdown, Swan Barn Farm, Hindhead Common, or the Devils Punch Bowl. Spend the day visiting the market towns Haslemere and Midhurst. Stroll through the historic Cowdray Ruins and maybe take in a polo match. Head to Cowdray farm shop and café to stock up on or sample locally sourced produce. Or sample wine, beers & spirits at Lurgashall Winery & Blackdown Distillery. If you'd like to relax for the afternoon book into the Amarna Spa, which is a 10 minute drive away, or Champneys which is 10 minutes in the other direction. There is much to enjoy in the surrounding area too, including Petworth, an important centre for antiques and a bustle of boutique shops and cafés. Within the Petworth area is the famous National Trust Petworth House. Other nearby sights are Uppark, Arundel Castle, Nelson's ‘Victory' in Portsmouth Historic Dockyards, the delightful Elizabethan mansion and gardens at Parham House & Gardens and Weald & Downland Open Air Museum. Go horse or motor racing at Goodwood, we are a great place to start from if you are attending Festival of Speed or Revival!! In fact we will probably see you there! The City of Chichester is the next stop along the route. Spend a day on the West Witterings beach, Fossil Hunting at Bracklesham Bay or visit one of many charming seaside villages. See a show at the Festival Theatre or go to see a movie at the independent New Park Cinema. The area offers sights and activities for all ages and you will not be disappointed with your visit.
  • Lovely spot, lovely facilities. Quiet, but well connected

A quiet location in an area of outstanding beauty in the heart of Surrey. Close to Guildford and easy access to local amenities. Also 20 minutes drive to Fitzpatrick Referrals Godalming. Private self catering accommodation perfect for a short break, walking, shopping or just chilling out. Cosy retreat. Sleeps four - double bed in bedroom 1 and bunk bed in bedroom 2 .
When you arrive at Beacon Hill Road, drive until you see a large dip in the road Parsons lane can be found at the bottom of the dip. Turn into lane and we are the first bungalow on the left with a five bar gate, don't drive up the incline because it is very uneven and difficult to turn around again. There are two entrances to Parsons Lane don't follow sat nav as it will bring you in past the dentist's and back of local School - longer and very uneven !
Beautiful spot quite and perfect for walking and relaxing

A comfortable double bedroom with the use of the kitchen and other downstairs rooms. The shared bathroom is normally only used by you. Less than a mile from Haslemere station, the house has easy access to the town and the many attractions of the South Downs national park. The room has a TV, facilities to make tea or coffee if you don't want to pop to the kitchen, and great views over our back garden with a brook running down the side. A simple "serve yourself" breakfast is included.
The bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. Guests may use the kitchen and living room downstairs for preparing and consuming drinks and meals, and relaxing in. Feel free to explore the garden and enjoy the garden room too.
Haslemere is a beautiful town with plenty of amenities and interest. The leisure centre (including a swimming pool) is a short walk from Brookside, and the town centre a little way beyond. There are nearby walks to the National Trust beauty spots of Marley Common and Black Down (with its wonderful views over the Surrey and Sussex countryside), and easy access to the Devil’s Punchbowl.
  • I had a great experience staying with Pete and Kate. They made it an easy experience and I received a warm welcome. I would stay again if needed in the future.

    Ellie2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • I received a warm welcome from Pete and Kate who managed just the right balance of being both attentive and laid back hosts! The room and facilities were just what I needed whilst attending a 3 day intensive event nearby. I will definitely return if the opportunity arises :)

  • Pete and Kate are very welcoming, friendly and accomodating. I really enjoy staying with them.

    Sonya2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • The room and house that the room is in, is absolutely wonderful! Pete and Kate are excellent hosts, very considerate and accommodating. Very knowledgeable, Pete and Kate always had insights for every need - where to go for a night out, good places to hike, etc. The room itself is wonderful and homey, with all things necessary to meet simple pleasure in life, e.g. an electric kettle for coffee/tea in bed. The proximity to great hikes and beautiful walks is an added bonus, as there are a surprising amount of redwoods in the area! For nature enthusiasts/ecologists/artists looking for inspiration, this is a great spot to see many ecological wonders and the joy of nature! Many amenities are in easy walking distance - not more than a 20 minute walk to the local Tesco, a wonderful cafe (the Lion's Den), and a few pubs. If you're looking for a rustic stay, some peace and quite from the bustle of the city, or in town for a wedding, this is the perfect spot to stay!

    James2019-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • Pete and Kate were the perfect hosts. A real home from home and they even provided cereals and toast for breakfast. Much appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

  • We’ve enjoyed our 1-night stay at Pete and Kate’s place. Everyhting from check in to check out was smoothless and it’s a grate value for money. They both are very kind and ready to help with you needs ie early check in / late check out etc.

    Mehmet2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • You can expect a warm welcome at Brookside. It's a comfortable bedroom at the back of the house away from the road so is nice and quiet. The room looks out onto a lovely garden with brook..hence Brookside! I didn't stay for breakfast, though it was offered, as I'd been invited out. Pete kindly took me to the venue. A big thanks.

    Fran2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Pete and Kate's place for a weekend while attending a course. They were very warm and welcoming hosts, Pete even collected me from the train station the night I arrived! The room is exactly as pictured, bed was very comfortable and there were tea/coffee facilities and a TV in my bedroom and I was able to use the kitchen to make dinner every night. Lovely stay and would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you

  • Lisa was a great host. Communicating well whilst also leaving us to our own space. The Annex was very clean & bright, with a large bedroom. Providing vegan options of oat milk & snacks as Lisa knew we are vegan which was a nice touch. Well kept garden & visits from the cat which we enjoyed. Lisa allowed us a late check-in with no problems. We had a lovely stay here.

This garden room has been converted from a shed in our garden. It is quiet and secluded, by a soothing stream with a lovely outlook into the garden, with space for a bed settee and a table. The garden itself provides more space in good weather. An easy walk to the main house gives access to the kitchen, cloakroom and dining room (with a TV) . The garden room does have its own TV and WiFi. A shower is available by arrangement with the hosts. Parking is possible by the room.
  • Just returned from a lovely stay with Pete and Kate in the garden room. It was me and my two young boys age 3 and 5. We are between homes so needed somewhere to stay. We stayed there 4 nights and it was a lovely warm cosy room with heating, electricity and tv plus facilities to make coffee. Pete and Kate were so welcoming and we were able to use the bathroom and shower in doors. Boys also has a great time making a den the garden!

Self Contained Annexe Grayshott - a pretty award winning village surrounded by National Trust Sites of natural beauty inc. Waggoners Wells, Ludshott Common, Gibbets Hill, great views of Surrey Hills. The village boasts great eating places, coffee shops, pub & Grayshott Spa at the end of the village
Private entrance with driveway for secure parking. Private garden and patio area You can hear road noise from A3 we don’t hear it but that may because we are used to it
Grayshott has the charm of an English Village and is very safe and friendly very accessible to some fabulous walks within Devils punchbowl and Waggoner Well It has its own pottery with a lovely coffee shop with amazing home made cakes on offer The Gurka Durbar serves amazing Nepalese food & the staff are so friendly Many places will offer home delivery too
  • A roomy modern self contained annexe with plenty of parking and well equipped. We enjoyed the location. Very close to the Devil's Punchbowl. The Sculpture Park at Churt is a MUST!!

  • I booked this Air B&B for my parents who came to visit me and they had a lovely time there! The location was really good and also very good value for the price. The kitchen was quite complete with a big fridge, mini wine cellar and dishwasher. We also enjoyed cosy evening on the convertible sofa and the very big TV. The Netflix account on the TV was a nice addition. We all felt at home and hope to be back soon thank you very much for the stay Maria. Only down side was the heating. We did not quite figure out how the timer worked and the heating would turn off every night so the morning were a bit cold but appart that we had a great time.

    Claire2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is a really beautiful place to stay. The location was perfect for me and we were driving to the South Downs for a race the following day You can walk to the local pub which takes about 11 mins. The roads are well lit so down worry about it being to dark or dangerous to stay out late! The property itself is very open plan which is great for a group having a weekend away together Just bear in mind there is only one bathroom which is upstairs adjust to the bedroom. And the bedroom upstairs has no door to the downstairs area so if you aren’t all planning to go to bed at the same time it could be noisy (personally I can’t see this being a big issue as the bedroom down stairs does have a door so early sleepers can have that room). If some in the downstairs bedroom needed the loo in the night you’d have to walk through the upstairs bedroom to get to it. I would absolutely stay here again we had a brilliant time in a wonderful property.

  • The Annexe was the perfect location for our visit to the South Downs. The house was wonderfully clean and tidy and our daughter very much enjoyed the box of Lego. The bed was extremely comfortable so we had a great nights sleep. Maria was a great host and was quick to respond to any messages. Would definitely stay again if we were to go back to that area.

Wonderful bright double bedroom en suite with French doors onto patio, which act as private entrance too, overlooking paddock and woodlands. Alongside is cosy living room with wood burner to cuddle up beside. There is a CD player and radio, there is Wifi so access to iPlayer etc. There is a small TV as well now. All this in heart of secret valley on edge of thousands of acres on National Trust area of outstanding natural beauty. Bring your own horse if you want and dogs welcome.
The location is in the most serene valley hidden away but on edge on thousands of acres of National Trust open spaces. Between Hindhead and Haslemere. We live on edge of enchanted wood and the birds sing all the time and this feels like a magical escape but yet so close to town. This is a much loved home, it's got heart and soul and is part of our family, with my son, dog, cat and horses.
Picturesque town on edge of Surrey with access to world class Polo at Cowdray Park and Goodwood races plus the sea at charming village of Bosham is only 40 minutes away. Fantastic sports centre with pool and massive gym open to the public all year around only 5 mins There are thousands of acres of walking, cycling and riding and this area offers many areas of outstanding natural beauty. Waggoner Wells and the Devils Punch Bowl are right here, Frensham Ponds with the opportunity to sail, is 10 minutes away. Bosham and Chichester Harbour are 35 minutes away. Local town of Haslemere offers great shopping and many local country pubs too. A famous local pub called the Duke of Cumberland offers wonderful Sunday lunches but you must book well ahead.
  • Such a charming surprise, I would love to have stayed longer. A little gem in the heart of the countryside, well found!

  • It is an amazing place. Its perfect for walkers and cyclists. Hidden from busy town.

  • A superb quiet spot at the end of the lane leading to a nature reserve. The room was lovely, though the new cleaner had given me a worn out duvet cover by mistake. Lisa was having a big clear out in the rest of the house, so was a bit distracted. Lovely bathroom and private use of a sitting room. A delightful retreat!

    Mary2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa is lovely, very friendly, chatty and helpful. She responded quickly to any queries/requests. Her home is charming and comfortable and the local area is so beautiful. I highly recommended a walk in Petworth Park.

    Eva2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • LIsa's place is absolutely beautiful and captures the essence of "romantic English cottage" Flowers line the pathway to the house, which abuts a field of horses. It is found down a narrow lane that is dotted with wildflowers and shaded by forest. The house has a shabby chic cottage feel. Very cozy. I loved it!

  • We had a lovely couple of nights stay here. It’s in a great location close to the local pub and shops. Very private with gorgeous views across the valley. Prompt communication from Rachel and self check in made it all very stress free.

  • We had a fantastic 2 night stay at The Look Out. It is even better than the photos suggest. Despite storm Dennis, we were perfectly comfortable with the log fire, Netflix and local Chinese takeaway keeping us happy! We managed to do a nice hour long walk in the local countryside before the rain came. Perfect for a couple who want a quiet break away. Book it now!

  • A little gem of a place. The photos do not do it justice. Lots of space and done to a high standard, excellent modern facilities with lots of lovely touches. Excellent communication from host and checked regularly that all was well. Situated in Grayshott village but far enough from the road to hear nothing but nature. Lovely views of the valley. Great location for walking , both from the accommodation and a short drive to the Devil's Punch Bowl . Nicely situated, was able to drive easily to locations in Sussex, Hampshire ,Surrey . The village itself has good local shops , so you don't to drive everywhere. Has a local pub which does good food etc . All in all a lovely place and a great holiday location.

    Tom2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • A perfectly proportioned and comfortable tiny house. Much bigger space than in the pictures. Despite stormy weather outside , the space was cosy with warm fireplace, added heating and soft furnishings. Nearby to Waggoners Wells and The Devils Punchbowl, great views at both . Highly recommended.

The Old Bakery is set in the heart of the beautiful South Downs National Park. It is a detached traditional oak framed building surrounded by ancient woodland with stunning scenery, walks and country pubs on the doorstep. An hour’s drive from central LONDON with the peace and quiet of a country setting. There is a flat above the Old Bakery. Both floors have their own private entrance.
You'll enjoy 60m2 of space across two generous rooms with modern shower, separate toilet and dressing room. The Old Bakery has a small Kitchenette area with complimentary teas, coffees, sugar and milk. The kitchenette has a small fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. A table and chairs for two can also be used as a desk in the main room.
We're a 15min walk through the woods to a lovely old English pub, the award winning Duke of Cumberland. Also other fantastic pubs, including a wonderful Indian (The Banyan), a short drive away.
  • Really nice comfortable place, location was perfect for us as it’s very safe there. Big gates that secure the ground. The Shower is probably one of the best I’ve seen in an Airbnb. host was really nice as well. Can’t fault this place one bit. 5 star

  • Natacha is the kindest, loveliest host you could meet. She is so welcoming, friendly and kind. From the minute I booked, she made the whole process so easy and recommended some lovely places to eat and visit. (I highly recommend Noa's Ark pub near Petworth) The barn is absolutely immaculate and so stylish. The bed was incredibly comfortable too so we slept very well. The attention to detail in every area of the barn was amazing from the beautiful fresh flowers, to the lovely fresh bed linen. It is just stunning everywhere you look. I cannot wait to visit again and will miss my daily view of the trees.

    Em2020-03-13T00:00:00Z

We loved Natacha's obvious talent for décor and style, and the many heartfelt touches - down to the white roses... every possible need was anticipated.. and our host was in constant communication with us with suggestions for local activities and making sure everything was all right. We have every intention of returning.. I have a feeling we'll have to book well in advance.

Lovely, single room within my friendly 3-bedroom house in Witley, Surrey. Milford station 15/20 min walk, easy travel links into London. Bus 5 minutes. Parking. A good size room, with a quality single bed. WIFI and use of kitchen, garden, lounge. I have a very small Yorkie.
Single private good size room with single bed in good countryside location. The room is clean, quite and comfortably furnished with a reading light, wardrobe, desk, shelves, mirror, blackout blinds, heating, double glazing. I live in a close rather than on a main street, so it is quiet and peaceful.
Witley village is a great and lovely countryside location ideal for long walks and running, with Witley Common, and other country walks within short walking distance. The local pubs are a short walk away and offer excellent food and the locals are very friendly. A newsagent and other general shopping facilities nearby. This is a peaceful environment, which offers good access to Milford or Witley Stations, which provide direct services to Guildford (10 mins) & London Waterloo in under an hour.

The Airbnb is situated by the Devil's Punchbowl in the beautiful Surrey Hills. Ideal for walking and cycling. This is a newly converted studio room with its own private entrance. Our home is in a private road with easy parking. The kitchen area has what you need for breakfast and a microwave if you want to heat your own meal. Otherwise there are plenty of places to buy food locally. We will be around to help you enjoy the space and the locality.
We live in the countryside but near to main transport links. You should find our space quiet and calm.
We live next to a delightful village which has everything you should need. There is a row of shops at the top of our road with a delightful cookie bar and a fish and chip shop.
  • A gem of a venue, very bijou but everything you need for a couple of nights' stay. Clean, comfy, well designed space in a great location for the Devil's Punchbowl. We liked the walking, the Bayleaf and Fox & Pelican - both in Grayshott. Sally and Nick so welcoming and thoughtful. Lovely touches with shortbread and delicious breakfast. Suited us perfectly with the location and very easy to find. We felt relaxed and refreshed after our weekend away.

  • The studio is a converted garage which is tardis like in its ability to metamorphose into a larger space than would appear possible from the outside. All the amenities that one could want for a short stay here. The bathroom and shower is luxurious, the bed very comfortable and the kitchenette well appointed. Location is great and the little extras such as the home made granola are most welcome. Highly recommended.

  • I had a great experience at Sally's place. She and her husband Nick are two lovely people, and helped me during my stay and were very welcoming and kind. They picked me up at the station, and drove me there as well after the check-out. the place was very clean, and they provided breakfast, towels and other stuff. It was very easy to communicate with them, and I never had to wait long for Sally's response. They also provide tips about what to see in the near by area. They are very helpful, and I enjoyed my stay.

  • Perfect place for a peaceful, cosy escape! Sally and her husband Nick were fantastic hosts making us feel right at home. We felt spoilt for choice with breakfast, and the bed was so comfy I didn’t want to leave! Sally and Nick even took us to and from the station! We really couldn’t have asked for more and I’ll definitely be back soon! 11/10.

  • We first stayed here a year ago visiting a relative with our young daughter and were very happy to return. Comfortable, well equipped, clean and with enough space to fit a travel cot in one of the bedrooms - this was everything we hoped and expected. Great location and communication, this will be our preference as long as we have cause to visit this area

  • Lovely staying at Jackie’s place. So close to PGL, which is why we chose it. Great communication by email and a pleasure in person. The property is a lovely bijoux, quiet and comfortable bolt hole. Lovely and clean, traditional and homely. It’s attached to the main family house but we barely noticed. Little things like the complementary breakfast items were unexpected but really helpful. Comfy beds with high quality linen gave us a great couple of nights of much needed sleep! Acid test is, “Would I book again?”... In a heartbeat, “Yes!”

    Steven2019-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed with Jackie and her family for 12 weeks and she was welcoming, quick to respond to queries and the BnB was lovely. A cosy home away from home with everything you need for short or long stays and with lots of character thrown in. I’d highly recommend a stay here as it’s close to amenities, places of interest and public transport and it has lots of great walks right outside your door.

Beautiful private room and bathroom with access to garden and outdoor seating as well as private parking. Located in the quiet village of Liphook, the room is within walking distance to local amenities, local pubs, country walks and Liphook golf club. The room is a 5 minute walk away from Liphook rail station, with mainline trains to London Waterloo and Portsmouth. The room also has easy access to the A3.

  • Lovely people and clean, comfortable room. We didn’t realise it was part of the house but it’s in a separate bit just off the lounge and we didn’t feel too much that we weren’t completely private and the room is beautiful and it’s great value. I would recommend the room and think that anyone that stays will have a comfortable and pleasant stay.

  • I stayed with Ewa and Richard when I was in the village for a trail race. It was the perfect place to rest my head - with a cosy room and THE MOST comfortable bed. Thanks for a great stay!

  • We spent a very comfortable couple of nights at Ewa's and Richard's place. The room was fantastic, bed extremely comfortable, exceptionally clean with lots of nice touches. They were both extremely welcoming, as well as very responsive to questions in the lead up to our stay. We used it as a base to travel into London, for which it was well located a short walk to the station. Overall a fabulous stay. THank you!

    Patricia2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful weekend at the piggery. Gemma and her family are super friendly and helpful. The place is in a great location - with lots of places to walk and eat within easy reach. The accommodation is bright, spacious and has everything you need - even with a dog and baby in tow. I would highly recommend a stay here and will be back.

    Hannah2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great place and perfect sorroundings, quiet and well kept place. I am sure when the weather is great this is even a better location (unfortunately we had gust wind and rain practically the whole time we stayed) but having a nice, warm and dry place to stay made Gemma's place even more attractive!

    Carlos2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic stay at the Piggery. The space itself is very clean and comfortable and you can tell a lot of thought has been put into ensuring guests have the best possible stay. I would highly recommend the Piggery for anyone looking to explore the local area.

  • We really had the best time here! The Piggery has lots of thoughtful touches which is so thoughtful and refreshing. We arrived to the sound of music which was left on for us - I loved this so much. The property was absolutely impeccable. It was spotless, warm and inviting. Everything mentioned on the listing was there and everything worked fine. Gemma was responsive, the instructions received were clear and the information provided was great. The taxi service worked very well and the forest trail and pub Gemma suggested were great fun and just as described! We would be sure to return if possible :)

Liphook’s endearing village centre is a walkable 0.7 miles away and holds everything you could expect from local shops. From banks and pharmacies to takeaways and florists, all your daily needs are catered for. For a larger shopping trip, Sainsbury’s superstore is only 1 mile away by car and provides all the variety and choice you would expect. Local towns such as Haslemere and Petersfield bring more variety to the region with big brands and familiar names.
This Studio Apartment is part of a well known property in Liphook. With on site parking within a private gated garden, Guests and their Family can feel safe. The Studio is light and airy, being freshly converted. We offer Nespresso Coffee Maker, FreeSat TV with Netflix available. Your car is safely parked within our securely gated garden which requires passcode access. Guests are welcome to use our garden. When it comes to dining out, if you want a break away from local takeaways or pubs, then nearby historic inns have good menus and welcoming firesides. Further afield towns closer to the coast such as Chichester with Wagamama’s and other well-known restaurants provide a richer choice. For entertainment local Liphook Millennium Hall puts on occasional events while Haslemere Hall, an early 20th century theatre and arts venue in local Haslemere, is ideal for a night out. With films, plays, music and events all year long the Hall is highly regarded in the region. Alternatively, visit the famous Champneys Forest Mere Hotel & Spa or spend a day out at the South Downs National Park. Old Thorns Manor Hotel Golf & Country Estate under a mile away is an ideal stylish retreat with excellent facilities such as its spa, golf course and bars. Nearby, Hindhead benefits from many acres of protected countryside, owned by the National Trust, the Devil’s Punchbowl (being one) which is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty
Set in the South Downs with its rolling hills and bustling market towns, Liphook is perfectly placed for discovering footpaths, rolling farmland, ancient woodland and lowland heaths with picture-book villages and their traditional pubs.
  • Thank you so much to Martin and family who made this the best Air B and B experience we’ve had. Such a friendly, personable experience and the apartment was beautiful! 10/10 would really recommend to anyone

  • What an exceptional host both in the lead up and once we arrived. The place was spotless, modern, comfortable and well located. There were very kind personal touches in the apartment, such as fresh bread, ham, milk, juice etc. which was such a pleasant surprise. There are some wonderful long country walks you can do locally, i can't recommend this place enough. 10 out of 10.

    Laurence2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Martin's studio is the perfect Airbnb. This cosy self contained studio has everything you need; it's warm, inviting and extremely comfortable. The thoughtful touches such as additional breakfast items and the friendly welcome lift this place to another level. Communication is excellent, friendly and prompt and lots of additional information provided by the host but also leaflets and brochures in the studio. Martin is an excellent host; his affable nature and genuine interest in his guests bubbles through and he strikes exactly the right balance between being available if anything is needed but ensuring privacy is guaranteed. The secure nature of the property makes for a relaxing stay and prioximity to the town is another tick. The bed is super comfortable and the studio really flows well so that even though it's open plan you feel the living and sleeping areas don' conflict with each other. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to book again if I am ever back in the area. Thank you very much Martin.

My place is close to many places of historical interest and natural beauty. The A3 gives direct access to London or to the beach and Portsmouth. You’ll love my place because of the amazing nature surrounding it, the quaint English village feel and the quirky cosy property. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.
King size memory foam bed in "the cave" (converted basement with window to allow light and air) with private ensuite with power shower and heated towel rail. Toilet upstairs on landing next to the kitchen. You will have your own entrance via the kitchen so you can come and go as you please without going through the house. It is effectively a self contained flat you would rent for the price of a room.
I live on a small village street in a very friendly community with all amenities. I live next to the old post office (which has moved to be inside the convenience shop but the red post box remains outside). Also in the village there is a Chinese takeaway and a Dominoes Pizza takeaway, a coffee Lounge that does light meals, a local produce + grocery shops - one sells Cooks dishes, a post office, local pub, garage, charity shop, hairdressers, dry cleaners and pharmacy.
  • The Cave was a delightful stay! Really comfy bed, amazing decor, good size bathroom with lots of thoughtful touches and good water pressure. Genevieve is just lovely and it feels as though you are staying at a friend's house. She was very helpful with the best places to go and recommending what would suit my needs. Could not recommend this stay enough 💜

Small single bedroom, raised bed (see pics) with shared bathroom opposite and shower-room/loo downstairs. Good wifi. Help yourself to tea/coffee anytime, and cereal/toast etc in the morning. The cat will probably force her way into your room, I'm afraid. Plenty of on-road parking. 1 mile to station, village shops 1/2 mile but you'll find a car easier as Godalming is better for eating out. Ideally suited to people travelling for work, although we are in a great area for walking and sightseeing.
As the room is a bit small, it's probably not great for using as a holiday space - though that's up to you. We are in a great tourist area, but close to London, Guildford and M3 corridor. We both work from home so there's usually someone about. We're close to Fitzpatrick Referrrals (1.5 miles), easy access to Guildford/Portsmouth (A3 and rail) Breakfast is DIY - cereal, yogourt, fruit, toast (I'll show you where everything is). If you are staying for a week or more, you are welcome to use the kitchen for prepping an evening meal (no hot food upstairs) but let me know when, and whether you need space in our rather small fridge. Please note that you are sharing our living space, and it is a medium/small family house, so I may have a few questions for you when you book. If you have any questions, please do contact us prior to using the instant book facility. There is plenty of on-street parking. If you are an intern student at Fitzpatricks, and staying for longer than a week, please contact me for a discount before you book. Also talk to them about lift-sharing with staff/other interns, as it's a long walk (and not great in the winter) and they're not on a bus route. Similarly if you are a 'pet-parent' needing to stay over, let me know (sorry we can't accommodate any pets).
We're in a quiet cul-de-sac in a rural location - the footpath to the common is opposite. Great for walking. Transport links are good - we're on the Waterloo/Portsmouth Harbour line, so plenty of trains. Very close to the A3. However, bus services are pretty bad here.

Our Shepherd's hut is set amongst 30 acres of unspoilt mixed woodland and paddocks, just on the edge of the South Downs national park and yet also moments away from Haslemere's lovely shops, restaurants and cafes. The hut is fully insulated and has central heating so is suitable for year round use. You will have privacy and your own space, and although our family home is on the same site, it is nearly 200 metres away . We are on site and will be at hand if you need anything.
Our brand new shepherds hut has recently been built to a high specification. It is a good sized hut with a kingsized bed, kitchenette and en-suite bathroom with a good sized shower. It is well insulated, with central heating, and is fully serviced so will be comfortable year round. The hut is situated out of sight of our main residence in a secluded position. Due to the bad winter weather the parking is available on the large tarmac area by our garaging & stabling, but from spring and summer it will have its own private space very close by. We have 30 acres of fields and woodland and guests are welcome to explore and we have some amazing walks nearby as are within easy reach of Black Down, Devils Punchbowl (Hindhead) We have lots of animals and you are welcome to collect fresh eggs from the chickens in the morning. Just ask and we will direct you.
The great thing about our location is that you can have the best of both worlds- peace & quiet surrounded by woodland, yet shops and restaurants are only a 10 minute walk away (3 min drive if you're feeling really lazy)
  • This was a truley wonderful little gem of a place...Vicky the host was amazing withbthe little extras she left for us of milk, bread and eggs..the hut was everything and more....could not fault it at all from the location to the actual shepards hut..cosy,romantic and warm...I would definatly come back to explore more..and I I'll be telling my freinds all about it!!

  • I would totally recommend this. My husband and I had a much needed night away to relax and top up on parenting tokens. This was a lovely peaceful location with stunning walks just a stones throw away. You will not be disappointed.

    Gladys2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Vicky's shepherd's hut is an absolute joy. It is equipped beautifully with everything you need - all designed so cleverly that is feels genuinely spacious inside. It might look like a shepherd's hut from the outside, but step through the door and it's a real little home from home! The location is truly private and the woodland birdsong blissful. Tip : for any vegan guests "Hemingway's" on the High Street is a revelation, the choice is phenomenal

Welcome to our peaceful annex, set in a lovely garden behind our family home. The property is located in a quiet, private lane, with woodland opposite. It's perfect for exploring the local area, with countless stunning walking routes in all directions.
The annex has patio doors opening into a studio style room with a wardrobe, double bed, TV, table and chairs, and a small kitchenette with sink, refrigerator, microwave, electric hob, toaster, kettle, and kitchen essentials. There is also a separate shower room with toilet, sink and shower. Outside, guests can use a patio area with table and chairs. Access is through the garden, down some steps off the driveway, onto the lawn then around the side of the house to the back of the garden (automatic floodlights show the way at night). Parking is always available on the lane opposite the house. Haslemere is a lovely market town, nestled on the edge of the Surrey Hills and the South Downs, both Areas of Outstanding National Beauty. • Lovely little place to stay, very quiet and peaceful. I was worried when I booked that noise from the A3 might be an issue but you can't hear it at all. Convenient position for going south to the coast or north to Guildford, and with shops and a garage locally. Very clean. While cosy it's very well thought out and equipped to make best use of the space. Very clean and homely, definitely recommended!

This is part of a conversion of outbuildings and a small open barn. We left as many original features as was possible and added cosy underfloor heating beneath solid oak floors. The bedroom is not large, but is beautiful and is furnished with antiques. The shower room is contemporary and the shower works really well! Car parking is available on our private drive. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided, but breakfast is not normally.
The front door opens into the entrance lobby with hanging space and a table with tea tray. There is a bedroom with a king size bed dressed with White Company bedlinen, goose down pillows and duvet. There is a smart TV and a comfy arm chair. The shower room has a good shower with a basin, a wc and White Company bath towels. The Barn has wifi.
We are situated on a B road which is quite busy, at times, with traffic during the day, but not so at night. It is a short walk to shops and restaurants and a very short walk to a particularly lovely pub! We are situated just 15 mins walk from Haslemere mainline station on the Waterloo (55mins) and Portsmouth (30mins) line. We have the beautiful Marley and Lynchmere Commons within a short walk (National Trust) and a little further away are The Devil's Punchbowl, Blackdown and many more acres of wonderful countryside!
