  • Tim & Lita's place was comfortable, cozy, and exactly as advertised. I was especially thankful for their prompt response when I had a question about the place, and their wonderful flexibility with letting me have a slightly later check-out. A great spot--would highly recommend!

  • Tim and Lita’s place was great for a quick stop in a cute little town. The space was clean, cozy, and comfortable, everything we needed!

  • Great place for a quick night passing through. Read the description carefully to understand the set up and noise Info. It worked well for my dog and I. Their smaller pupper gave me a jump scare a couple times. He can get his head between the fence post and the house siding. This is located at the corner right by the door you enter. Well, especially because I had a dog with me, the territorial barking ensued. Both of their dogs are beautiful and awesome. The dogs all got to meet and were fine, but they made me jump not expecting the barks and a head poking out a couple times. Haha It’s a cute efficiency. Comfy bed. Full shower. Friendly hosts with unique insight for points of interest.

  • My daughter didn’t want to leave & was calling the space her new joke while we were there.

  • Tim and Lita have a lovely private space with its own separate entrance. The open floor plan and thoughtful layout created a comfortable experience. Lita was proactive in communicating with us and was available to respond to questions and requests.

Amazing trail system just a few streets from the front door where you can mountain bike, run (which is what I did!), and even take your ATV if you desired. The Getaway is located just 120 miles southeast of Salt Lake City. You are located within blocks of historic downtown Helper. Enjoy a stroll along the river parkway, or meander down main street taking in all the art galleries and local eateries.
The Getaway has all the accommodations you will need to prepare your meals. Some books, movies and games are available if you want to unplug. If you are traveling with friends check out 211 Getaway. Each one bedroom apartment is adjacent to each other. So you would have your own space but close enough to go venture out to see the sights.
  • Cindi's place was a very clean and cute place to stay for the Helper Arts festival. We liked sitting outside in the patio area with our coffee in the morning.

Cindi even leave a few extra items incise you forgot anything. Parking is a little tight but totally doable for a mid size car or smaller.

Our "E" Street House is located on a dead end street with Balanced Rock as the backdrop. Fully furnished and ready to welcome guests. We offer 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, living room and laundry. The fire pit in the back yard is stocked with wood for an evening under the stars. ATV and snowmobile trails are abundant and can be accessed from our street within minutes. Helper has a new city swimming pool just blocks from our house. A beautiful golf course is just a few miles south.
Off street parking for three vehicles plus street parking. The house sleeps 6 people. Helper has an annual Arts Festival in August and is known as the Christmas Town of Utah. So the month of December is packed with town activities. The first Friday of each month most retail shops, art galleries and restaurants are open for the monthly celebration. You will be surprised with the amount of activity this quaint little town can support.
The house is on a very quiet street. With neighbors that look out for each other. The only noise you will hear is the occasional Union Pacific train coming through town. There is a wonderful little coffee shop and a few restaurants situated on Main Street.
  • We enjoyed our short stay in the house. You can’t really appreciate how big is the house from the outside. Extra clean house!

Quiet peaceful neighborhood, in Historic Helper Utah..its a perfect spot for hiking, biking, fishing, boating and lots of different activities, or just relaxing in the jetted tub or watching the 70 inch TV. Helper City has a lot of Art Gallerys to Visit. We have the world tallest coal miner BIG JOHN. The amtrax train stops here in helper..we are short walk up the hill from the depot. Half way spot between Moab(ARCHES CANYON) and Salt Lake City..
While you are visiting you can have a short walk or drive to down town Helper, Utah. There is Restaurants, Museum, Walk down the swinging bridge and the path following along the river. Spring Canyon is Very close to our house. Take a Drive up and you will see all the Mining Ghost Towns.
We live close to Scofield state park. And cleveland lloyd dinosaur museum. So much more that we can not list them all.
  • This place is perfect! It has a ton of little extra touches that help make you feel very comfortable. The place was very clean and the hosts are extremely easy to get along with! Would recommend to anyone!

  • Hill St. House was a wonderful place to stay. This was my family and I's first stay at an AirBnB, and we were not disappointed. Not only were our hosts gracious and easy to communicate with, but their home provided every essential my family needed. We enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

    Jeremy2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • You can expect to be astounded by how absolutely phenomenal Clayton and Kathryn's place is. It felt better than staying at any hotel--their place is better! They think of EVERYTHING, and I do mean everything. As a type A person, I enjoyed that there was a binder of "extras," like how to use certain gadgets in the house if you aren't tech savvy, what the local eateries are, the numbers and addresses to any local emergency information should it be needed, and a welcome letter. The stay at their house far exceeded my expectations, they have monogrammed in-home and to-go coffee cups, breakfast and food items as needed, water bottles (for free, unlike a hotel), extra blankets, extra towels, a basket of bathrooms items people are prone to forgetting (like toothpaste), brochures of local activities near them, comfortable beds, you name it. I am picky about how clean places must be, and that was not a concern of mine while staying here. Their place is spotless--under the bed, on top of the fridge, the shower, everywhere. Board games for all ages are available, as is a mini hot tub inside one of the bedrooms. I don't want to ever stay anywhere else, I just know I'll be disappointed; this place was the best. Thank you! :)

    Camille2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at! We couldn't believe all of the little thoughtful touches included in the home... they had set out waters for us, and also keep cereal/milk/eggs/muffins/butter/coffee/tea and other cooking items in the kitchen for use! The living room had a huge TV with Netflix, youtube, etc. And the bedrooms were very comfortable -- to include the jacuzzi tub. Also, Clayton & Kathryn let us use their dog pen to let our dog run. And they have an outdoor seating area with a nice heater. On top of all that, they are a short walk to downtown Helper, which we loved with it's Railroad & Mining Museum, art galleries, and eateries. All in all this was an outstanding stay with great hospitality and in a really amazing and fun location. I would definitely come back.

    Emily2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • The place was perfect for two brothers, their wives, one kid and two dogs. It was a bit too cold for camping so we decided on an Airbnb instead. The gas fire pit made it feel as though we were in nature nestled up against a hill with no neighbors behind us while still providing a warm bed and comfortable place to relax. We enjoyed cooking meals together and exploring the area for a couple days. Our nephew and sis-in-law both enjoyed bath time in the spacious jacuzzi tub. The dogs felt at home as well. Thank you for the stocked frig and breakfast items~above and beyond what's expected in a normal Airbnb. We appreciate the hospitality and care.

An architectural treat, this charming guest home in Helper, UT is a perfect stopover for Arches/Moab (2 hrs south), or quiet getaway with plentiful nearby hiking. Within an hour are some of Utah's greatest undiscovered treasures including Nine Mile Canyon, the Wedge (Little Grand Canyon), Buckhorn Draw Pictograph Panel, the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry and the San Rafael Swell. You will also enjoy the artwork throughout the house and the high-speed internet. Dog friendly ( 1- $35.00 2-$50.00)
100 year old family home, restored with modern aesthetic yet maintaining original charm. King bed in bedroom with fold-down couch in living room and floor space for air mattress. One block from historic downtown Helper with easy access to two diners, western mining and railroad museum, artist studios and antique shops. The guest house is located on a separate property so we typically arrange to get our guests a key and leave them to enjoy the space. A list of local food options and house details is left for each guest; however, we are always up for showing our visitors around our little town should the mood strike!! Helper is a quiet little town but the just-off-Main Street location of the guest house offers a great starting point to walk the small commercial district and check things out.
  • The pictures set a high expectation, and the home delivered. It was unbelievably cozy and pleasant. We really enjoyed our stay. The art and collectibles were really a nice touch, not to mention we had a blast sipping a glass of wine enjoying the massive DVD collection. Would certainly stay again.

    Andrew2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, for some reason I was getting the vibe the place would be a little sterile, but it was far from that. It's a very cozy little place with a lot of style and very conveniently located next to the museum which is very cool. The house's art is unique and many of the paintings come from local artists you can actually go and see in town.

    Lucas2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • This is place is AWESOME. It is so cozy, amazingly decorated and has every amenity. The hosts even came by and brought us an umbrella in case we needed one. Would definitely stay here again!

This is an historic property that has been completely renovated. I will stay here again. Room was clean and completely updated. Quiet and there were no issues all. I will definitely say this is one of my top favorite stays in my long list of travels all over the US. Finding it in Helper Utah was another bonus. • This place was adorable! In the cutest old building that is well kept and feels very cozy, especially in the winter. Great location if you were going to do things in town (though we were there on Thanksgiving and passing by on the way to National Parks). The space fit two peoples needs perfectly and the kitchen was clean and easy to cook dinner in. Bed was very comfy! For as small as the space is, it is very well designed! Parking out front was no trouble at all. Would stay again!!

Helper House is a cozy, single level home located on Helper's Historic Main Street. Located close to the River Walkway, this charming house is in an ideal location for all of your explorations in Central Utah. • This is the epitome of “what you hope for” but rarely experience. Great host and great house. The most charming of towns and everything about this place to stay continues it right into the home. The beds, oh my the beds! Get ready to spend extra time in the beds. The kindest hosts as well.

    Cliff2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Ginger was an amazing host and was so quick to respond to our inquiries. Absolutely 5 star experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Becca2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Place was fantastic! Cozy, clean, and we were able to make a holiday dinner which can be a feat in any kitchen. High ceilings, the living room, and comfy beds with TV's in each room (although we didn't use) help make the space. We stayed right after Christmas, the heater kept the home nice and warm, had holiday touches which helped make it feel like home, and beds were comfy. I'm from the area but for those not, it's walking distance to local shops on Helper main street and a quick drive to pick up some groceries at the market at the other end of main (not a full selection but many of the essentials). Ginger was super responsive and helpful. Easy and quick to communicate with. Place exceeded our expectations. Perfect for our visit!

  • This place is a charming remodeled home with a nicely fenced in yard. Random things I enjoyed about the place were the keyless entry, the nice kitchen with a few tools and essentials to make a homemade meal, large TV, extra blanket, plenty of towels, and the ability to use the washing machine if needed. It’s lovely. There is a small basement apartment, though I rarely saw or heard the person. I usually only knew they were there because a car was parked in the back parking area. Behind the home is a trail that leads up to several hikes, which is very nice. It is also within walking distance of the college and a few parks including a dog park. I only wish I came to visit in warmer months so I could enjoy the area more.

    Lisa2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I with our two large dogs stopped through on our travels. Quiet and convenient location. Loved the trail in the back, especially with all the snow! There is a tenant in the basement unit that we must’ve missed reading in the listing, but just our personal preference to have the entire place. He does not bother or make noise so no issues! Host is great and responds quickly

  • Beautiful house. Great location, close to gas stations and restaurants. This place had everything you need and it is incredibly clean. The shower is huge. Tim’s response time was incredibly quick and he was very accommodating to us. We got this place VERY last minute yet right away Tim responded and made all the accommodations needed for us. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful place to spend a couple of days in.

  • This cottage was perfect for two. It was very clean, quiet, and in a great location. It was also well-stocked. The breakfast foods and snacks were very appreciated. We hope to return soon. Helper is a delightful town!

  • This is a super clean, convenient and comfortable place to stay. Nothing fancy - but everything you need. Helper is an old railroad town and this is a small cottage style home- it is an easy walk to downtown with the fantastic restoration museums, the art galleries and cute shops. Thank you Bruce and Sally for the selection of information, and the morning essentials provided!!

    Karen2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Bruce and Sally were very friendly and informative about the area. Their cottage style home is very clean and well appointed. The master bedroom king-sized bed was super comfortable. The 2nd bedroom only has a futon, not a regular bed. The home was acrossed the street from a kiddie park and a short walk to charming downtown Helper. I highly recommend this cozy home if you need a place to stay in the Helper area. I will be back!

  • When we drove into Price we just went through a heavy snow storm. Even though several of the driveways were still covered by the storm the home we were at was already shoveled, clear and had ice melt out to make sure we would be comfortable getting into the home. Nice touch! Everything was clean, warm and ready for us. We plan to come back again next year and if this place is still available we would love to return here again.

    Warren2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and comfortable place located on a nice and quite neighborhood street. Warm and comfortable after a long day of driving in the snow. I highly recommend this place...

  • This place is perfectly located and easily accessible from the interstate. It is warm, welcoming and cabinets are labeled with what's in them from extra linens, to which cabinets have cups and plates. The home is large and has ample sitting areas for a large crowd.

Newly fully remodeled 100+ year old mining home. This structure was taken down from a mining camp in the mountains and placed on a foundation in downtown Price during a mining boom to help with housing needs. Easy to locate in the rear entrance of McDonald's parking lot and within walking distance to USUE, museum, library, and restaurants.
We kept some of the vintage feel while updating with modern features and comforts. TV's in bedrooms. Walk-in closet. Small office desk. Dishwasher. Keurig, so bring your favorite morning beverage. Tankless endless water heater for those long showers. New central AC and heating for personal comfort preference. Plenty of parking including space to handle RV's. The old thick plaster walls with new windows keep a quiet restful environment. One Queen bed has a Serta foam mattress, and the other Queen is a spring bed, more firm.
Price is a melting pot. You will find a variety of all walks of life. Great resting spot on your way to Moab, Lake Powell, Natural Bridges, Goblin Valley, and Joe's Valley.
  • Super cute and cozy. I felt very at home.

NO CLEANING FEE, NOON CHECKOUT! Your personal adventure basecamp is located only 6 min south of downtown Price and miles away from the daily hustle bustle. This peaceful 1250 sq ft, 3 bed country hideaway, with beautiful outdoor space, gives you the chance to decompress from life’s stresses while enjoying modern conveniences. The Gateway is located behind our home on 5 acres of land, and adjacent to State Land for recreation. Only 1h 45m from Arches NP. An affordable alternative to Moab.
We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years and recognize what we believe to be the most important qualities for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation space. We have tried to duplicate those same qualities here. First and foremost, it must be CLEAN and UPDATED. In addition we want it to be BRIGHT, with plenty of light, except when we are trying to sleep, then we want blackout curtains. PRIVATE, QUIET, and SPACIOUS. Last, but not least, GOOD BEDS! A lot of time and research went into the purchase of the beds, especially the sofa bed. It’s not fair that the people/person sleeping on the sofa bed have a sub-standard sleeping experience. We have also added beautiful artistic images by a local ‘dark sky photographer’ for your viewing pleasure. Bistro lights adorn the interior for that relaxed summer evening feel, even if it’s too cold to be outside. It’s a wonderful experience to relax after a long day of adventure under the glow of the soft golden lights.
We are located approximately 1 mile from Hwy 10 in a quiet country setting. The home is on a slight incline to better enjoy the views of the valley. All neighbors in the area have 5 acres or more so the homes are spread out and private.
  • This guesthouse is first class. Gorgeous space with tons of room and a super comfy bed, plenty of bedding, great full kitchen etc. It's priced very reasonably for what you get and Brenda is super friendly and helpful. It's the perfect location to explore all the rock art around the area. Brenda went above and beyond to accommodate a few special needs and did so graciously. I will definitely stay here again. One of my best experiences!

  • Brenda is an amazing host, it is an amazing rental!

    Audrey2019-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here while visiting family in town for the holidays. If we hadn’t been spending every waking minute at the relatives, we would have loved to cook in the beautiful kitchen. I have never seen an Airbnb better outfitted for comfort. It always seems like they are missing something essential- like spoons, or enough bedding, the wall-mounted air conditioner drips or the table only fits 4 while the house sleeps 6. This place had all the essentials, including a highly accessible washer and dryer and dishwasher and complementary detergent for both. This place clearly feels like it was made for an extra home for family to visit and stay a while- not just a forgotten money pit where they are trying to recoup monthly mortgage costs. The counters and sinks were beautiful, the towels clean and plush. The shower was lovely. There were even a sensible number of electric outlets in places that made sense! Gasp! I loved the extra lamps and low lighting for evening calm. I was worried this would be difficult to find. In the dark, you definitely can’t see the house from the road (no street light above it) but once you find the mail box, you’re good.

    Joanna2019-11-30T00:00:00Z

Nestled in the foothills of northern Price lies the Covestead. Our endearing home is full of warmth and history that will stay with you throughout your stay. Located under a mile south is USU Eastern and several options for shopping and dining. The real gem of our location is in the dozens of beautiful recreational areas surrounding our dear city. If you find yourself drawn to Castle Valley or are simply passing through, allow us to give you the home away from home experience of the Covestead.
The Covestead as we like to call it, is our humble homestead that has a warm, rustic feel. Many of the decor, furniture, and structures have personal and historical meaning to us. This space is perfect for families with our playroom and the many activities that fill the space. The Covestead is also great for anyone that needs a great bed to stay in and a relaxing area in between days. The bed frame consists of wood beams from our grandpas 100 year old cabin he grew up in. The bed is covered by a hand stitched quilt from our sweet grandmother. The barn wood wall is wood from our family farm. While most of the decor has been collected from the history of our family owned possessions. Our own hand crafted projects add to the charm of the space. My wife has a small library for all other like minded book lovers that she is constantly adding to. If you find yourself with a bit of down time we deeply encourage you to nurture, or find your love for reading.
Our home is settled in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood. Melodious birds charm the sun into rising each morning. While on occasion small cotton tails can be seen enjoying a meal with in our yard. If you are feeling the need to exercise the basin walking trail is located just a couple blocks from the house. For the more adventurous type there are miles, and miles of bike riding, hiking, and ATV trails that sit above the neighborhood within the foot hills.

The front sleeping area can get a bit noisy (right near the main street and train tracks) and a little bright in the AM, but the back bedroom is nice and quiet. Definitely enjoyed our stay!

It’s exactly what you might expect and more given the pictures but that’s not why I am so grateful to have chosen this place. Mark took my last minute plea for a booking and did so quickly...even offering me a ride. You can’t possibly be disappointed if you stay here. Thank you!!!

  • What an incredible stay! Joane’s house is absolutely incredible. Wonderfully themed rooms, huge kitchen and lots of amenities to make you feel at home. The bathroom was incredible and had a tub if you’d like to unwind after a big day of exploring. This is the best place to stay in Price and I encourage everyone to stay at Joane’s house! Very peaceful and pretty close to some amazing places in Utah. Thank you for a wonderful stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Emma2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Wow ~ just wow! Not only is Joane's home just gorgeous. But the kindness and generosity to take me in last minute was exceptional. I was on a long drive across Utah, on my way back home to Colorado, and became too tired to make it all the way home. I rolled into Price, Utah on a wing and a prayer that I would find a comfortable place to rest for the night. And it was SO much more than that. The home is beautiful, had everything I could possibly need, and Joane (though not in town) was the most gracious host. We spoke at length and she and Ashley (her assistant) made sure I was able to settle in and be well appointed. Thank you so much for a most serendipitous experience!

  • I was very surprised to find such a comfortable and up to date place to stay in Price. Once finding the House of Angels there was no other place that really compared.

  • We were shocked to discover the thriving art scene in Helper. We live in Salt Lake City and usually drive through Helper while heading to and from Moab. After this visit, we will make it a point to stop or even stay in Helper to grab a bite to eat at one of the great restaurants and pop in to an art gallery on our trips. Helper is really growing thanks to people like Gary and the local artists and business owners.

  • Great place to stay and relax. We enjoyed the different themed rooms but the openness of the house and backyard were great. Joane is an amazing host and really made her home a wonderful place to stay

    Brian2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • We rented the entire house for a gathering of friends. It worked out great. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The house provided plenty of space for people to eat, visit, and relax. We enjoyed barbecuing on the back patio and listening to the crickets. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we could possibly need for meal prep and serving. We were a little worried about noise from the high school across the street but it turned out not to be problem as all their activities wrapped up at a reasonable hour and the neighborhood became very quiet. We were amazed by all the fun things to do in this area. Price is a great base camp for exploring the red rock country.

    Lauren2019-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Joane’s place was the best! Not only is her home beautiful it’s also comfortable, spacious, clean, and safe. She communicated promptly and was very hospitable.

    Crystal2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Desert Rose was for 8 people. The sleeping arrangements were perfect with king bed, two queens and two twin beds. The kitchen was kindly stocked with a hot chocolate and coffee bar that our adults and grandsons loved. In addition, the host provided soap and sample shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms. The location was great for our family visit, and would be a bit off the main road for someone traveling but is easy to get to. Large, spacious home and yard is perfect for large family gatherings. Would be perfect for someone in town for a family reunion. We played games on the large dining table, planned a family bbq on the back patio, and visited Huntington Lake nearby for boating, kayaking, and paddle boarding. This state park is only 25 minutes away and beautiful mountains surrounding the lake. Large fridge and freezer for your food with well-stocked kitchen for your cooking and meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again when the opportunity comes up Joane was a generous hostess.

The Getaway is located just 120 southeast of Salt Lake City. Within walking distance to downtown historic Helper. Meander on the walkway by the river or visit some of the local shops along main street. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. • This is an awesome place with the best hostess ever! Joane was so welcoming and helpful to us. She is so interesting to talk to and has a wealth of knowledge about her local area. She gave us driving directions and lots of helpful tips. The home is stunning! Beautifully clean and decorated. The towels were huge and soft and lots of wonderful amenities. I could have stayed forever!
