  • A super cozy atmosphere in the northwest of Ireland. Stefanie is a great host. She knows the area very well as a local with good insider tips and excursions tips, excellent recommendations on where to go for food and drinks. It was a very pleasant stay at Stefanie! Thank you very much Highly recommend on AirBnB

  • We stayed at Stefs house as a couple with our dog. If it's a taste of the rural, charming, friendly side of Western Ireland you want then this is the place for you. A very dog friendly, lavishly furnished, comfortable home that is just that. a home. You'll want for nothing as Stef will give you your own space to enjoy your stay but never be too far away should you need guidance on the local area or beyond. The pub is 50m up the road and is a great bit of fun. The local village has all the usual amenities and is only a half mile away. If in the area again, this place would be first on the list without question! Thanks Steff and Ena.

  • Thank you again for this welcome! We felt like home. We were welcomed like royalty, with all the necessary. Stephanie is adorable, she will welcome you and make you discover the area! Thank you so much Steph and Ena!

  • 1 Gurteen View was a great and cosy place to stay. This was our second time to stay there ( we have family in the area) Brid welcomed us and there was a perfect rainbow in the sky ( we think she arranged that especially for us👍) Lots of space for 4 of us ( 5 last year) and room for more. She left us lots of food .... in fact enough for our 6 days there breakfast and lunch (we ate dinner out every evening) but everything we needed to cook dinner was available if needed Will stay there again in future most definitely

The house itself has everything you need, towels bedding etc. The little touches that were left in the house like fruit, butter, bread and essentials was so lovely. We will definitely be booking again the next time we visit Sligo.

  • We had a fantastic stay here. It's a really modern, clean and cosy place. We would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking to stay in the Sligo area. It is a great location for anybody looking to see the sights in the area like Benbulbin, Keash caves and Carrowkeel. It had everything you need and there were some lovely welcoming gifts upon arrival. We loved staying here and will certainly be back.

  • Vincent and Bridie have a beautiful place to share. Everything is brand new. The rural scenery is everything you could ask from an Irish Airbnb. We enjoyed the quiet, the full kitchen, the attention to details and our comfort. Vincent and Bridie loaned us a dozen (yes-12!) books on local Irish history and sights to see. There was so much we wanted to do and wish we'd have had more time for. They are attentive and very kind people.

    Donny And Kaylee2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks Vinvent and Bridie, I had such a great time and loved your place. I hope more people get to experience your lovely place and hospitality, outstanding.

    Boris2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • A great standalone modern cottage with full kitchen facilities. A lovely collection of items in the pantry to make breakfast and a hot drink. The wood burning stove I imagine will make it feel cosy in the winter although we didn't use it. There is a nice seating area outside as well for those summer days and evenings. The host and his wife are friendly and helpful. A great place to stay and relax.

Welcome to my cosy, peaceful, rural dwelling. I am excited to welcome all to my home. Tucked away in the unspoilt village of Keash, rural South Sligo, this is the ideal place to get away from it all.
Located on a small beef farm which is 2k from the famous caves of Keash. An ideal location for walkers, climbers, fishermen, nature lovers, artists and those wanting to be close to the Wild Atlantic Way. No place better to be to embrace the four seasons. A warm, spacious, king size bedroom with private ensuite. You also have a private living room with sofa, tv, desk and views to the unspoilt landscape. All areas are on ground floor with wheel chair access.
  • Highly recommend this airbnb! Catherine is a lovely host who provided a very warm welcome on our arrival. The room is really comfortable with everything you need and the breakfast in the morning was great! You will really enjoy your stay here.

Breakfast was great and the use of the kitchen to prepare your meal is handy. The WIFI worked splendidly. If our travels had us return to the area we'd be sure to stay again! thanks Catherine

  • Catherine is very friendly host. Thank you for your hospitality and recommendations. The house is big, comfortable in quite beautiful place. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean. Me and my husband were very happy to spend time here.

    Anastasia2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! Absolutely nothing wrong! Everything was perfect. Catherine was not here to greet us, but the explanations for entering on our own were very clear. Very nice host, small attentions for tea and treats on arrival and for lunch. Very large room, huge bathroom. And in addition to the small private lounge with a panoply of leaflets for the sites to discover in the neighborhoods. We really enjoyed! Thank you again Catherine!

Located in Ballaghaderreen, 20 minutes from Knock Airport and a 2 hour drive from Dublin. The Bishop’s Palace (aka Edmondstown House) was built in 1864 by Captain Arthur Robert Costello. The house was designed by John McCurdy, who also remodelled the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin. It is built in the High Victorian Gothic style. For 100 years the house was the residence of the Bishop of Achonry. A historically interesting building with beautiful grounds (and a full Irish breakfast!)
Living room, library and dining room.

  • This home is an absolutely stunning surprise! It’s Roscommons best kept secret! We loved staying there and would loved to have spent more time there! The hosts were so accommodating and helpful. We had a function to attend in a nearby village and they were kind enough to drive us there! Would highly highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!! 🙂🙂🙂

  • Chloe and David have an amazing place in huge grounds and the welcome was exceptional. The house is extraordinary and the room was large and spotlessly clean. If you don’t mind some of the quirks that go with an old house under renovation - and why would you? - we couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

  • Redhill House is a brilliant place to relax and unwind for the weekend. It is spacious and very comfortable and the amenities are great. The seaweed bath was an extra special treat! I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay. We are looking forward to going back again!

  • We LOVED our stay at Red Hill Manor. The only thing missing was a pair of Irish Wolfhounds by the peat kitchen fire. The house is beautifully restored and even the closets look like an art exhibit with thoughtfully selected items from the home's past. The only problem we had is when we arrived on Sunday evening, we planned to have dinner in Boyle. The pubs that said they were open on their websites were closed and the one open restaurant was full. So, best to bring your own food and buy it at a grocery store before you arrive in Boyle.

  • This is a wonderful house to stay in away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We came over from Brighton for the wedding of my nephew in temple house Ballymote and this was the ideal place for us to stay. The welcome box of goodies was much appreciated and the very friendly (outdoor) cat was much loved. All in all it was a really great find for us and we left much more relaxed and at piece with the world!!

  • This house is beautiful, we really enjoyed our stay. Moira and Emma were fabulous hosts, communication was excellent, the house came with everything you needed, the welcome back was really thoughtful, and the house was just a home. The garden was great for our dog, he loved playing outside. Honestly, I would recommend anyone to stay here. It was well worth the money.
