This was our second stay at Jodie’s house. The location and amenities met our needs so completely last year that we rented it again and plan to stay there many more times in the future. It is spotless and comfortable and close to a very nice park with many activities. I had a couple of questions for Jodie this time and she responded to me immediately. Very happy with our experience!

We first one to thank Julie for opening up her home for us to enjoy our first North America youth Congress. Upon a arrival we marvel at how clean and we'll organized everything was ( easy to find everything). We got unpacked we start to fill right at home. Through out the mornings of our trip we enjoyed the wonderful conversation with her as she definitely showed hospitality to the whole group. The wifi work wonderful and it truly is a peaceful neighborhood. The best part of our experience is that we never felt like we where crammed , running into each other , or in the way. She definitely knows how to make you feel like your right at home and it was definitely one of the highlight of our trip to the Conference of North America youth Congress. When God leads us back to the same area we will come back without any hesitation.We had a blast and thanks alot from First United Pentecostal Church Youth Group.

Great family to stay with!

I love the location, I had no problem getting into the city for business. The house is clean, safe and a very quiet neighborhood. My host was a simple text away and always responded quickly. The snacks and drinks were just an extra perk... amazing stay..!!!

This is such a great place to stay if you’re looking to sightsee St. Louis or just needing to stay in Belleville. The house was very secure, clean, and welcoming. The little personal touches and complimentary products were amazing. It’s an older house so the ceilings are a little low and the shower is a little small, but it’s still spacious. If I come back to this area I would definitely stay here again

What looks small on the outside hides a gorgeous, charming, and spacious stay on the inside! Great place to stay if you're visiting family in the area, looking for local activities, and want to avoid the drab hotels. Also, this is a good place to start if you have never tried AirBnb before! Our host was very responsive.

Such a thoughtful place to stay! A Belleville gem 💎

This loft is incredible. You should stay here. It’s also close to all the cool places on Main Street. Seven, CopperFire, Lincoln Theater, Tavern on Main etc... All the amenities were awesome too. Basically every comfort you have at home is included! Well, Silverstein has a shower only - no bath tub. That’s good with me but it is good to know.

Geri’s place is a home away from home! Very comfortable, nicely decorated, has snacks and drinks waiting, easy access. Geri communicates well and is fast to respond. Highly recommend while visiting Belleville!

A total hidden gem! The cottage sits on a wonderful piece of land where the sunsets are beautiful and the stars in the evening are spectacular! We absolutely loved Dexter the donkey and Sammy the sheep, our pups enjoyed playing with them. The cottage itself is very quaint and homey, and decorated perfectly for the setting. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to unplug for a weekend.

Jill and her farm house are really great! Although I didn't get to meet Jill (due to my schedule, I needed a late check in) she was very easy to reach, considerate of my schedule, very thorough, and respectful of my privacy. The house is SO private and quaint. If you need some time away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place to go! Breathtaking views for miles, and maybe 1 or 2 neighbors in sight. Dexter, Sammy, and Marley are absolutely adorable. Marley is such a lover, and I spent a lot of my time hanging outside with him on my lap, enjoying his snuggles and purrs. During my stay, the low temp was in the 20's, but the farm house stayed warm and cozy. 5 stars all around! Thank you Jill!

Super cute place! Very remote and peaceful.

Jill is very sweet and accommodating. If things happen to your travel plans just communicate with her and she’ll do what she can! The house is very sweet, but old which adds a ton of character, so don’t expect a 5-star hotel, but do expect a comfy stay and the ability to feed some farm animals and disconnect from technology should you choose!

The house is perfect- secluded, spacious and off the beaten path, this house is great for people who want to leave the city life behind and need a day to admire all of nature’s beauty.

The little farm house is very quaint and rustic. Its definitely an old house, but you can tell that Jill takes care of it well!

Second stay was even better than the first. We were greeted with a warm house full of holiday decorations!

Super nice family and great quiet private location. A lot of natural beauty and the log cabin fireplace smell is wonderful.

The owners are great, attentive, readily available, friendly, and out of our business. The cabin was secluded, quiet, clean, and comfortable. My wife and I are both well traveled with high (but attainable) standards. As this was our first AirBnB stay, it seems the bar has been set quite high.

Lori’s place was perfect for my cat & I. Small but surprisingly lots of storage area which made it nice because I’m an over packer. All the kitchen essentials were provided as well as a TV and internet.

Absolutely loved this place. I lived here for two months during a rotation in St. Louis. It's close enough to be convenient, but still quiet and peaceful. There's an amazing park down the street that I jogged to nearly every day. Lori was a wonderful host and offered great suggestions, and always replied quickly. This is the best AirBnb experience I've ever had and I felt right at home.

So glad to have chosen to stay here! We were in search of a month-long affordable home base upon our arrival in Illinois from the west coast. Charles made us feel welcome from the start. His place is clean, the other guests are polite, and we loved strolling on the long walkway which runs by his home and winds through a university's nature preserve nearby. The house seemed new, and everything in it well cared for. I felt safe and comfortable. Charles is a gracious and considerate host. Would definitely recommend, and gladly stay again.

Kelley was a great host and has a comfortable home to stay in. We were there traveling for work and the place had everything we could have needed. Kelley checked in with us after a few days to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She had left a local warming gift that was much appreciated. I would recommend this stay to anyone in the area, an exceptional value and warm home.

We had a fantastic time. We are a military family, coming from overseas back to the states. The house allowed us to celebrate Christmas with the children, and keep a warm feel of home the entire stay. It had everything we needed, as we traveled with not much. We enjoyed cooking at home. I highly recommend staying. We loved it!

We really enjoyed this cozy, country home which was exactly where we needed to be for visiting our family in the area, and an easy drive into St. Louis. Everyone: check out the Faye Inn, just a few steps away, for a great meal, amazing breakfast Friday-Sunday!

This house is perfect for that hometown country feel. I love that Kelley had local places listed with points of interest/menus/numbers etc. it took one less stressor off of us! She was so accommodating on so many levels that I would recommend her to any and everyone! Would stay here again most definitely! 10/10!

I truly enjoyed my stay here with Jodie. The accommodations were perfect!! I stayed in the room above the garage which has its own bathroom and every accommodation you could possibly want. Wow. While we usually do not stay in an Air BnB with this much shared space, we didn’t even mind it and will totally go back again. Jodie & Doug are top notch - they make you feel right at home so it’s more like staying with extended family than strangers. PLUS their place seems like you’re in the middle of no where while being close to everything. Most ideal.

Jodie's place is beautiful, both her home and the location. It's about thirty minutes from STL but the location can't be beat if you're looking for some quiet and relaxation. We stayed in the basement which was very private. Bed was comfortable and living area was a nice touch for those that don't want to lounge in bed. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at Jodie’s place! It’s a beautiful area with the lake and all of the animals. Unfortunately it was raining, so we didn’t get to hang out outside. And if you have kids, this is an awesome place, inside or out! There are toys galore inside in the airbnb space for kids and adults. Our nine-year-old son had a blast! Thanks, Jodie!!!

Jodie’s place is lovely and tucked away, yet still not too far from necessities. I loved the scenic lake and the chickens and ducks.

An amazing home tucked away in the woods on a lake. Very comfortable home with a wide variety of animals, all kept outside. Jodie and her family are really hospitable and helpful. We had our 13 month son along to visit family and had my dad stay as well and we were all quite happy with everything. A great play area in the basement for kids with every type of toy imaginable. Clean, comfortable and fun. Lots of indoor and outdoor activity options. Lovely home and people.

Such a cozy little place to stay!

Adorable and quaint... the Doll House was perfect for my family of 4’s overnight stay. Spacious rooms, soft beds and bedding, power strips in the bedrooms, streaming TV and WiFi, and a full kitchen are just some of the amenities we enjoyed in our stay. It is also worth noting for taller guests, that the shower head stands at least 75” off the bottom of the tub, so I (6’1”) was able to take a shower without doing the limbo. Carrie (the host) was attentive and stayed in communication with us prior to arrival to make sure we got in okay... Given the opportunity, we would definitely stay here again.

This is a clean place for a family to stay, even has a crib upstairs, away from the noise of us downstairs while the baby naps. Carrie is easy to communicate with & very nice.

Excellent, as promised

It's perfectly fine for a quiet place to crash. The neighborhood seems pleasant and getting in and out couldn't have been easier. I really liked how close it was to the Belleville Metrolink station. I had no issues with the place. However, my two kids were less than thrilled because there wasn't much for them to do, i.e. no TV. Bring your own things for your kids to do while staying here, and it should go fine.

This place exceeded my expectations. The set up, is a beautifully styled home that only Airbnb people stay at. Three rooms total. I felt so catered to at the stay. They stock the fridge with food for the guests to eat, she was there waiting for me when I checked in, it was just nice. I work night shift, and even with other guest staying in another room, she was able to turn on the air so that it drowned out any noise and I could sleep during the day. Thank you so much for everything!

This is literally one of the best Airbnb locations I’ve been stayed at! I travel a lot for work and this will now be one of my regular stops from now on. Amazing hosts, very private and relaxing and SUPER clean and comfortable. I’m amazed they charge so little for such a high end experience...

1000 times better than the pictures. Billy is awesome, ask about his kitchen ceiling. Has everything you need, washer dryer, a kitchen with just about everything you need. Spacious living room. Close to IL 15 which makes getting to STL quick.

Julie’s place is a gem!

We were in town to visit family and needed a place with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. The Suite grabbed our attention, earning a quick reservation for that weekend. Julie sent detailed check-in instructions, bundled with parking and Writer’s Loft building access protocols. We knew what to expect before we got there. Upon arrival, we were charmed by “Ellie” the elevator. (100 years old and still working!) When we open the door to the Suite we were blown away by the open air spaciousness and layout. A great view of Main Street out front. A private balcony out back. A huge living room / kitchen area with copious daylight. And the location! It was wonderful to walk to a local restaurant for dinner, then to a nearby bar for a drink. No need for an Uber after a couple of drinks, just stroll back. Check out instructions were just as clear and off we went. Julie was a gracious host and I recommend her rental.

Literally the nicest AirBNB I have ever had the pleasure of staying in! I want to make the trip a few times a year just to experience Julie’s place again. The pictures really don’t do it justice, the space is huge, it’s perfectly clean, and it’s in an incredibly cool neighborhood.

The Cozy Corner was perfect for our stay. Literally minutes from the High School where my daughter's dance competition was held, as well as local restaurants and stores. Cute little house with everything you could need. Tami is an excellent host.

This place was amazingly clean. As a pet owner I am always Leary of places that allow pets. Tami’s place was absolutely clean. In fact it was cleaner than some homes that don’t allow pets. We stayed here while on duty at SAFB which was about ten minutes away. The breakfast items were an excellent touch. Every little thing that you don’t think about until you need it was addressed. I got a small cut on my finger and Tami had bandaids in the bathroom. Shampoo? Check! Laundry detergent? Check! Small Tupperware? Check!!!! Tami even had coffee and condiments. I loved this place. The only down thing that I can say is that sometimes the traffic on the street was a little loud. This was an amazing stay and I hope to stay here again!!

If I could give more than five stars I would. The convenience of the being NEAR the main street in Mascoutah but not ON the main street was great. The property had covered parking - very necessary this time of year. The host provided breakfast foods which saved SO MUCH TIME. It was very cozy and warm. My daughter and I had SUPER comfortable beds to sleep in, queen size no less. The house was warm and cozy, but had plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Towels were provided. The instructions and tips were all in a neat binder. Plenty of appliances and silverware were provided, even paper plates. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and coming back in the evenings was not even a thought I had to think about, and that is super nice this time of year.

We enjoyed Jake's place, it was an inviting, relaxing venue for our weekend family gathering. The place was sparkling clean and has a nice patio out back. Comfy mattresses and a nice shower in the master bathroom. Just four kitchen chairs and a small table but there are folding chairs in the closet.

This is a beautiful and spacious upstairs loft in downtown Belleville. If the weather is nice, there is a great deck off the back as well. Clean, cozy, and full of nice amenities like snacks, coffee, tea and a full kitchen. Highly recommended!

This loft was FANTASTIC. It is not only modern and stylish but it had such a homey feeling. To top it all off it is right in a downtown district so I was a quick walk from coffee and restaurants with craft beers. And there is a ping pong table. Need I say more? :D

Conni was a great host who responded quickly in person and through the app. Stylish, beautiful space in a neat small downtown location. Quiet neighborhood during my stay—only heard a fire truck once and kids playing for 20 minutes at lunch at the nearby school. Walking distance to all the restaurants I visited. Would definitely stay again.

This loft is beautiful and homey. Has a perfect mix of rustic and modern feel. The stairs leading into the loft are fairly steep but they were manageable for my 6 month pregnant wife. Location is nice for the feel of Belleville and not too far from St Louis. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be staying with Connie.

We loved the size and open space! We wished the weather could have been better so we could explore the square and fin ships nearby. They were wonderful to talk to and had everything we needed to relax for the weekend.

Lori's place is fantastic! I travel for work, and her place has made me feel right at home in this area. The neighborhood is safe, and Belleville is such a nice town to live in while I drive into the city for work. I have been here three months, and renewed for another six months. It's definitely a home away from home with everything I need.

My third time staying here and one of my favorites. Got to see my family for the holiday season and Linda and Karen's place just cant be beat! My boyfriend loved the charming decor and amenities. My dog always also loves it here and how sweet Linda is to him. Made my holiday wonderful!

You can expect a beautiful 1850’s period home in a quaint neighborhood of the same houses. It is well furnished with all amenities and Karen is a lovely host.

Fantastic stay in Belleville. First time back in 30 years and this was easy walking distance to the downtown main street. Super friendly owner/landlord (Linda). The place has three rooms, and we were the only renters, so had the whole place to ourselves! We will likely be back someday and this will be our first choice!

We highly recommend this quiet and beautifully restored home. Great amenities for a very stress- free visit to Belleville! Close to downtown and dining options, the house has any needs already anticipated. Good neighborhood for a stroll!

This is truly a gem of a place. The hospitality by Linda cant be matched. The home is historic and lovely and Linda really went above and beyond to make sure me and another guest were comfy. I will definitely stay again in the future and recommend this place to anyone!

Karen and Linda were amazing hosts. They are so lovely and worked so hard to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Their house is so beautiful and the accommodations were top notch. They also were so loving to our husky mix Uconn. Breakfast was also so good. Can’t wait to go back!

Karen and Linda were great hosts! The house was clean and well kept. They offered us travel tips, maps of the area, and brochures of things to do. They have a brand new mattress in the bedroom and purchased a window air conditioning unit to make sure we were comfortable. The house was recently updated and is beautiful. We were able to walk the neighborhood in the morning! Very safe and quiet area. In addition, they made an AMAZING breakfast. This was by far the best air bnb I’ve stayed at and would recommend it to anyone traveling to the area. It’s a short drive to St. Louis and well worth the time to travel to and from. Thank you Karen and Linda for such an amazing stay and being such amazing hosts!

A charming place that is deceptively large. The antique furnishings are quite nice and Linda,our host,was very informative and accommodating. Wish we could have stayed more than one night

Best stay I’ve had at an air bnb.

This place is perfect for a visit to Belleville. All the amenities you need to be home away from home.

We had such a great time being back in our hometown and experience the awesomeness of this area during the Santa Claus parade and the festivities after. All of our needs were absolutely met and then some, we loved the kids table in the living room and the basket of kids activities, our daughter loved both! We loved and enjoyed the coffee bar and the cute little individual face wipes in the main bathroom downstairs was such an awesome touch. The home was immaculate and fresh food was available for breakfast and then some. We couldn’t find anything that we would have needed that y’all didn’t provide. Thank you again for the hospitality and we would love to stay here again in the future.

This was my second stay at The Garfield Inn. My daughters and I rented the entire Inn for a baby shower and were soooo happy with our entire weekend. Not only was the Inn sparkling clean and safe - but the kitchen was wonderful and the little extra touches were over the top. Linda catered the entire affair with 15 guests. The food was tasty, classy, and wonderfully presented...truly professional. Linda and Karen have a gem here that will make you feel like you're at home, even when you're far away. I'll definitely be back for a third, fourth, and even fifth visit. The Garfield Inn will always be home when I'm in town.

This was a charming place to stay and the hosts were so hospitable. When it was time to leave one of our kids said they wanted to move here.

Karen and Linda provided an exceptional location. All rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were exceptional. There are so many little touches, food, and bathroom items provided. We rented to whole home and felt more comfortable than any other AirBnB stay. Belleville is 30 min away from downtown St.Louis and there is so much to do in town whether interested in history, art, or going to restaurants and bars. We found many dog-friendly locations as well. Linda was extremely knowledgeable about the town and was so kind. Communication with Karen over prior to our stay had a great response time. We will be back!

This is a little gem in Belleville. Historical building built in 1850s in a truly great neighborhood. If I were going to move back to Belleville this would be where I would move. Linda is an amazing hostess and I felt lucky to stay here and experience her hospitality. Worth the money and so much better than a hotel!

We rented the entire home for two nights. We were quite surprised by how wonderful the inside layout was with all new interior design. Even with the fresh interior you get this nice historic vibe. Big kitchen and a pleasant host who cooked a huge breakfast for the entire party! 3 beds with two baths and one spot off-street parking. Just blocks away from the downtown restaurants and bars. Super quiet street in residential area. I'm still smiling with choosing this home for my weekend stay in Belleville, IL.

Lori was an amazing host! Quick responses, very thoughtful, and was only a call away. Just the privacy I needed and walls were very thick and I couldn’t hear other guest. Studio also had a lot of room, so I did not feel crowded in this space. Highly recommend Lori’s place to other travellers. Equipped for a weekend stay or 3 month stay!

Great experience, perfect for what we needed.

The studio is quite comfortable and adequately supplied with all the necessities. The place is neat and tidy. The neighborhood looks a bit old but was very quiet and I never saw another person. (It was 16 degrees and snowing while I was there.)

We have had wonderful luck with bnb and this was no different! We had a great stay; cute, cozy, and had everything we needed!

All of positive reviews of Lori’s place are accurate. We rested and relaxed after many hours on the road in a quiet, safe, and clean studio space. Bonus detail were many too but especially liked Lori’s smart style.

LOVED loris place- and the bed was so amazing. The host was so lovely, wanted to know how everything was and how we liked the town so far. Gave great recommendations! We traveled 9 hours that day and like Lori had said- the bed was beyond cozy. The shower was warm and inviting with soaps and showers thankfully (we’d forgotten ours at the last place sadly). The heater was one of the best features- easy to use and worked quickly. We were also able to drink our wine with cute glasses provided. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet neighborhood outside St. Louis!

Lori's space is absolutely gorgeous, modern, functional and beyond comfortable - inside and out, and located on a quiet, residential street in Belleville. Dedicated parking in the rear of the property is a real plus. A very short drive to all manner of small business or chain/franchise shopping and restaurants. Lori is a communicative, engaged, thoughtful, warm and welcoming host. Would 100% stay at this place again - and/or at any of her spaces, anywhere, anytime. P.S. Don't miss the Cahokia Mounds in Collinsville while you're in Belleville, Illinois. Fascinating history to be learned at both the museum and on the paths around the Mounds.

Smaller space, feels like your in NY or somewhere in Europe. Has everything you need to cook and have a great stay. Off street parking available as well although it took a couple tries to find it. Overall, would definitely recommend for the price and location. Go to Balance Coffee!
