Loved the hospitality! Front door lock/code made it easy for us to come in after long day and leave early without feeling like we were disturbing Ann and Norm. Super clean private bath, loved the dual sided heated mattress! You'll need to be able to navigate thru dog gate to get to your room (little dog was very sweet) and there's no TV in bedroom but that didn't bother us! We've booked the same room for next month! Ann and Norm are super sweet!

Ann and Norm are so welcoming! Everything you could think of was provided! Extra pillows, blankets, heater, fan, hair dryer, q-tips, soap, lotion, and I was able to use the washer and dryer! Ann made me amazing blueberry bread and banana muffins! It was a wonderful stay! I highly recommend staying with them.

Lovely home and wonderful hosts! Super clean and very comfortable! Really enjoyed how at home we felt. Norm and Ann felt like family! Very thoughtful hosts. We even had our own shelf in the frig! My son and I are vegan and this small gesture was huge to us! Home is lovely. Room and bath were spotless and the bed was super comfy. Plenty of space for clothes and bags! The morning view out of the window of all the trees is very dreamy! Must also say that their granddaughters were very sweet hosts as well! Very sweet girls and extremely well mannered. Adorable kids! Ginger their dog, super quiet and kept to herself. Wish we could’ve hung out with her more.

Very welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment. Our stay was great! Stayed with Ann and Norm a little over a month and a half with my wife and two dogs. They were amazing hosts. Would recommend to anybody looking for a stay in a great neighborhood and even better hosts. Room was perfect, plenty of room for our baggage. Backyard is spacious, which my dogs enjoyed a ton. They were very accommodating and always did their best to make us feel more comfortable in their home!

Ann and Norm are only 10 minutes away from the Tacoma Unit #1 horse arena, which is where we spent the majority of our time. We only saw them for a few minutes but they were friendly and I could tell they would have great tips for us if we needed any. They were also happy to provide breakfast for us, which we didn't sample because we don't eat breakfast, but I'm sure it would have been wonderful.

A quaint, lovely historic home. Comfortable, welcoming environment. Peaceful. Noel greeted me and was most hospitable. Quality bed. Independent heating in the room that I could control. Coffee, juice, yogurt and toast in the morning. Everything was great for me. I’ve already reserved a return stay. I made a furry friend or two (beautiful indoor, some outdoor cats).

Noel's rooms are an incredible value in a cool older house in a great central Tacoma location with easy access to freeways and a straight shot to downtown. We were there to tour both PLU to the south and UPS to the north, and it was an easy drive to each. Noel mentioned that the local bus at his corner goes straight to the airport--we didn't use it but ask him about that if it interests you. His home is spacious with cool early to mid century details (I loved the bathroom and staircase) with a huge lush yard that I wished we could see in spring! The two rooms there (blue and green) are big enough for couples, with large tvs and bedside lamps for reading. Comfy bed in the green room where we stayed. Common area was spacious with a remote controlled gas fireplace, shared fridge, dining room table, and sofa. Noel provides coffee, tea, toast, yogurt, and juice for his guests. And, yes, the cats are adorable, especially the one that sqeaks. Noel and his wife are quiet, talented intellectuals and their home was great to escape back to after busy days.

It was incredible stay at Noel’s house . The tv was perfect and also the bed was comfortable and the room plus the food and coffee they have in the mornings really help and nice of them and the cats are super cool , the house is really authentic it was wonderful staying.

Great place to stay, the bedroom is comfortable and charming, and there is plenty of space for parking outside. We had no problems using the shared bathroom although there were guests in the other room. Noel is a communicative and experienced host and we really appreciated the flexible check-in time. If we come back to Tacoma, we'll definitely be staying here again!

Staying at Noel's is a must if you're in the Tacoma area. His hospitality is second to none and the beautiful, historic house and room are incredibly clean and comfortable and full of nice little touches. I had a wonderful stay in a wonderful house with a wonderful host. A trifecta!

Amazing place to stay a true home away from home feeling. Would recommend this to anyone travelling or moving to the area. both Larry and jennis are amazing host and go out of there way to assist in any thing they can in regards to the stay. I can't put into words how greatfull I am for the hospitality shown to me 12 out of 10 stars from this guy for sure.

I have stayed at Georg's place multiple times during my trips to the South Puget Sound. Georg is a fantastic communicator and makes it so easy for me. I love that! His home is so beautifully decorated and has become a home away from home for my business trips. His dog Twinkles is super friendly and just loves people. 👍

Georg's place is the reason why airbnb should be on top of anyone list. His home was clean, comfortable and reminds me of a museum. The art work and his collections of art are amazing. I had a wonderful sleep and did not want to leave the cloud like bed! Communication was prompt and checking in was a breeze. Twinkles and his cute cat are extra bonuses. I highly recommend and next time I'm in town, I'll be sure to revisit.

The gated neighborhood was safe, the home was lovely, the room comfortable, and the cat and dog extremely freindly. George was an excellent conversationalist who seemed to take a genuine interest in his guests.

Perfect! The obvious intentionality of Jada's home really struck a chord. Comfortable, incredibly interesting, great selection of books and high quality furniture. The writing desk was a nice touch, and I could have stayed there several weeks.

Marshall’s place was stylish, clean, and fun! There was a great space to watch TV, play ping pong, etc. and he was very welcoming when we arrived. His communication beforehand was great! It was a really nice place to spend the evening with my wife.

Absolutely loved our stay. The location is relatively close to everything. It was great to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The breathing taking view of Mt Rainier welcomed us each morning and the farm fresh eggs for breakfast made for a perfect start to the day! The cottage is easily accessible for anyone staying here. We stayed at Sharon’s place for the weekend and it was an incredible stay! The rooms are nicely decorated and the home is very inviting. I absolutely loved the piano in the lounging area. It gives the whole place a nice touch. Extremely satisfied and would come again!

Stayed at Tom's for a little over a week. He was very responsive and the room was exactly as advertised. His dogs take an interest in new people, so those with dog allergies might be careful.

The room we stayed in at Tom's Airbnb was very nice with lots of thoughtful touches, space and it even has a refrigerator and a walk in closet. Tom was a great communicator and when we arrived we were greeted with a smile and even introduced to the two little doggos that live there! I would recommend this Airbnb to a friend any day.

Clean, easy to access, and great location - close to the Tacoma mall and right down the street from the store.

BETTER than the interior pictures! This newly-created, modern, beautiful, efficient small space is totally uncluttered so feels roomy. The bathroom belongs in an expensive home--and the shower is brilliant! I ignored the exterior and it paid off handsomely. The small heaters keep both rooms comfy (and actually a bit too warm if left on) even in 35° outside temps, once they get a couple of hours' head start, which they'll have thanks to Jessica checking in with you on timing before you arrive. Parking was literally right outside the entrance gate on this roomy street. On both a "better than expected" and "price-to-performance" basis, plus interior attractiveness, this space was ALL win!

This is an absolutely great place to stay if you need access to Tacoma and it is just a short hope away from Seattle. The apartment is very clean, and has everything you need for a multi day day. The host is extremely helpful and quick to respond if you have any questions whatsoever!

Great place in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. The host were quick to reply to messages, the home neat and clean, the backyard was spacious, and the room was larger than anticipated. After a quick home tour, I felt right at home, and settled into some lively conversation and spirited debates that lasted well into the night. It turned out we had many life experiences in common, so the words just flowed easily. This was a great place to stay - comfortable and clean. Noel even helped us with a bassinet for our 2-month old. He also made delicious coffee! The only thing to keep in mind is the street noise - not terribly loud but we were glad to have packed ear plugs.
