Maria’s room is a great place to stay in Catania - perfect, safe location, clean and with a nice touch. Me and my sister spent the whole days outside, exploring the area and knowing that you can go back to the room at anytime without stressing about the surrounding area, was a great relief. We spent our vacation during late February and it was warm and cosy inside, always warm water and comfortable blankets. The street was a little noisy but nothing too bothering. Definitely recommend especially out of the season.

Spacious room and ideally located.

We had a wonderful time at Lorenzo’s place. The location is perfect if you want to explore Catania. It was also easy for us to spend a day trip in Taormina (by train) and Etna (by tour). Lorenzo was so helpful and responded to all my questions quickly. He also arranged an airport taxi for us which was a relief with an early morning flight. Highly recommend.

Really fashionable, when I went in March it was cheap at around 8000 yen! This quality is the best at this price! Excellent location!

It was perfect. This was our first stop in Sicily and it made us feel safe and comfortable. It was also very clean and had heating which was important this time of year. Lorenzo was very kind and explained everything, including how to take the bus from the airport. Overall, it was a perfect experience.

Excellent accomodation for a trip to Catania.

Everything is perfect except the power of water stream in shower, it's very weak. All the other things are perfect, there's nothing bad to say, really — we had totally everything a traveller might need. Though a little bit confusing was the checkout time, at 10 in the morning, as for me it's a bit early. Also, we had only one keys bundle and if someone leaves the flat, he takes the keys and there's no way to use electricity for the other one who stays, because to use electricity you always have to keep the keys inside the wall. All the other things are completely perfect — towels, shower stuff, a little food in the kitchen, Smart TV with Netflix — fantastico!

Great listing, to be honest when we entered Catania, we were disappointed with this city and thought of booking another accommodation in another city without returning to Catania, but in the end we returned and It feels really unexpected. The house is as welcoming as the pictures and the details are intimate. It was also very clean. I felt that I had returned to my home. The landlord communicated in a timely manner and was very enthusiastic. I regret that I did not stay for two more days. In short, it is a worthwhile place to stay. If there is a chance to come to Catania in the future, I will definitely hope to have a chance to stay.

We had a nice stay at Giuseppes apartment. Its just a few minutes to the airport so this was good for us on our last day. Even if the adress is located at a big street, the apartment is in the backyard. So is was really quite. The beach is 15min to walk and to get in the city centre is about 40min to walk. But there are also busses which just need about 5-10minutes. Giuseppe was a nice and helpful host! The apartment was also really lovely and clean.

Well furnished apartment for 2 people with kitchen, bathroom and bedroom on the upper floor, quiet and yet very close to the airport. Can only be recommended!

This is a great value stay. It’s very close to the airport. Guiseppe kindly picked me up and dropped me back for a reasonable fee if 10 Euros. He is a very nice guy and the very clean apartment is cool. It’s a compact 2 story place in a little courtyard, and had everything you could need. Highly recommended for the price.

Amazing hospitality. Accommodation near the beach and the airport. However, the biggest advantage of this place is Giuseppe. He is a wonderful host who will help you feel like a true Sicilian. I hope see You again.;)

Super nice host. The road to the accommodation is not very pleasant but the apartment is great. Note, good pizzas 800 m (we went on foot but it is a bit dangerous, it is better to take the car).

Perfect studio size for 1-2 travelers, amazing view of the city skyline, and a cozy bed! Santo was an excellent host. As a solo female I never felt unsafe throughout our interaction or walking around town alone. Santo was easy to communicate with and offered local tips with quick replies. He was accommodating to my arrival time and was warm & kind. The location of the BnB is a quick walk to restaurants, squares, and shopping. I’d recommend!

We found the apartment with ease and received a warm greeting from Santo. Santo was extremely informative and even offered to show us around the local area. The apartment was secure and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful from the apartment and we loved hearing the cathedral bells. It was a little noisy at night in the area, but it is a city so is to be expected and we didn't find it an issue! There was a street just over the road with 'ladies of the night', however we walked past the ladies and had no issues. At the end of this street, we turned right and found 'San Berillo District', where there was a quirky bar that had a characteristic outdoor area with plant features. Well worth the visit and they do amazing cocktails! There are supermarkets close to the apartment and the main restaurants and bars are all within 5-10 minutes walking distance. It was so lovely to wake up to the stunning view every day from the apartment. The location is perfect and we would definitely return. Santo is an amazing host and we loved our stay in this wonderful apartment.

Clean apartment, furnished with style and equipped with all comforts a stone's throw from Via Etnea. Santo is a correct person and available to give you all the information you need to spend a pleasant stay in the center of Catania.

Santo's place is wonderful - everything you could wish for with spectacular balcony view. Very well equiped, you have everything you could need in bathroom and kitchen. Location is good, maybe a little bit loud in the streets at night, but I think this is sort of normal for this neighbourhood. Santo is extremely helpful and easy to communicate. Definately recommend it!

Paola's apartment has very nice climate. The room was very nice and big. Also comunication with a host was fast and easy. We received a lot of hints and answers for all the questions we had. Maybe the only problem was the fact, that the flat has only one bathroom and sometimes is hard to get in. Anyway I really recommend this apartment, because the localisation is perfect and Paola is helpfull and doesn't make any problems :)

I had a great time at this place. The apartment is in centre and only a few steps away from all the Main attractions. Nearby you can find nice restaurants and bars. The communication was very easy and fast and Paola recommended me some places for Dinner. All in all i can really recommend this place.

On the same floor there are several bedrooms and three bathrooms to be shared. Our room was clean. The bathroom was not perfectly clean, but keep in mind that it is shared with other people.

The property turned out to be ideal for a trip to Catania. The hostess is very friendly. I would book this accommodation again at any time.

The room was exactly like in the photos! It was perfectly clean and I slept very well. Since there were other guests who shared the bathroom it had a bit of a nice hostel atmosphere.

Very large and bright rooms with impeccable cleanliness. The bathrooms are shared, but being three, it never created any problems. The central location then allows you to visit the historic city on foot. Availability of restaurants, pizzerias, and fast-food outlets in the immediate vicinity.

Very nice accommodation divided into several rooms quite distant from each other with two bathrooms and a kitchen to share. Our room was very bright, the terrace added a real bonus! Ideally located in Catania close to the city center, we highly recommend :)

Loredana's place was a really great find for me. I was looking for something in the prime area and I'm so glad to have found it. It is just 2-3mins away from the Duomo and being right on via Etnea there are ample stores and restaurants to choose from. It is about 20mins away from the central station, but there is a bus stop right under the apartment so connections to the station were very convenient. Loredana's suggestions were really helpful and I really appreciate how helpful she was with any of my questions and concerns. The room I was in had a lovely balcony attached (beware of the mosquitoes though!) that allowed for a lot of natural light to flow in. The bed was comfortable and the room was very tastefully done. The bathroom is also not very far away. I would definitely recommend this place! 😁

Pros: very big and nice apartment, bright, safe, huge sunny balcony with a great view, very nice owners, easy check-in and check-out. Everything matches description and it's definitely a good place. Cons (not owners fault or something they can change): noisy elevator and neighbors - elevator makes loud "bump - huuum - bump" every time some one uses it, and it used often, and you can heart neighbors in the bedroom clearly when they talk in normal voice, not to mention when they have some family drama.

The apartment was special, stocked with antiques and with a great view. It was clean, tidy and the communication worked well. The district is getting used to, but has many attractions and opportunities. We felt very well.

Giuseppe and Desirée’s apartment is so hard to be described to as just one word. With their warm and kind parents, it reminds me ‘home sweet home.’ It has three spacious balconies where I can see the sea and Etna with beautiful view of Catania. Also, I can have dinner seeing gorgeous sunset. And the living room is decorated with exquisite ornaments, classic furnitures and genuine old pictures of their parents. (I do love that!) The apartment is so classic and showed me how much it has been cared well with deep affection of their family. And when I arrived in Catania, their tender parents came to the airport to pick me and my husband with so many huge luggages who have been tired of during the flight. On the way home, they drove around the city center to show us some crucial points with detailed explanations. They also bought delicious pizzas for us who have been starving till the late night. I and my husband were not just their guests at that moment. They welcomed us with genuine heart just like as their relatives from abroad. I felt so moved as if I met my aunt and uncle who have lived far bringing my home in Catania. If you like to have ‘Home’ in Catania, this apartment can be the answer. I definitely assure that they are going to be your sweet family with pleasure.

The apartment is simply magnificent: clean, beautiful, with a huge balcony on two sides of the house. From one balcony you can see Etna. We admired the sunsets in the evenings, having dinner on the balcony. The hostess's parents very warmly greeted us at the airport by car, presented us with hot arancini, delicious grapes and a pack of drinking water. The kitchen has everything to cook. The bathroom has everything for hygiene. We even played old chess. Near the house there is a bus stop 925. 5 minutes to the supermarket. To Cathedral Square on foot 25-30 minutes. We are very pleased with the trip to Catania!

Désirée's parents were super nice! They picked us up from the train station, showed us around a little and then brought us some stuff to eat (arancine, watermelon, even left us cold water in the apartment). The apartment is a bit old, but it is super big. It has nice balconies, and luckily, an AC in the bedroom. The center is not that far on foot. So in all, it was a great stay!

Very good room for our one night stay - clean and warm (has a heater, which is not standard in Italy!), very close to the city centre and the train station. Also, very good and quick communication!

Room was perfect for a short stay and to discover Catania since it was just 10mins by foot from everything. Central Station was less than 5mins away. Luca gave us really good restaurants recommendations and was available for any questions.

We stayed in the top room and had the bathroom adjacent to ourselves. Small room, large shared accommodation (but very private) with high ceilings and clean, Nice location, quick stroll to the fish market in the mornings was lovely. Luca also gave easy clear self check-in instructions. It's only a few minutes down the street to the Catania central train station too.

Luca's apartment is located very close to the main square. It's well equipped, cosy ,clean and has a big balcony with an Etna view. Luca is very helpful and he responds very quickly. He gave us a lot of tips on where to eat and what to see In Catania. Also he let us check-in earlier and when the gas in the kitchen run out his father changed the gas bottle immediately.

Thanks to Luca and his father! The apartment is good located, not far from the city center. Inside there is everything you need, the apartment is clean, there are fresh linens and towels. wonderful balcony! The shower is for the thin people :)) but its not a problem, and there is hot water! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed staying in Martina's home. Martina was very responsive and friendly. The bathroom is kind of small but great - very nice style. We both also really liked the bed - the mattress was amazing! And also the location was perfect for us. In the middle of the center and still pretty quiet.

Martina is an excellent hostess. The reception was perfect and even without knowing Italian, she could understand me and explain everything in the best way. The apartment was even more than I expected, the cleanliness is outstanding and very comfortable (in addition to being equipped with everything one might need). While the street where it is located is a bit dark, I had no problem during my stay and would stay at this place again.

Excellent, comfortable, stylish apartment in the center of Catania. Cleanliness is ideal, balcony, summer terrace. The bathroom is simply gorgeous. I would love to stay again. There were minor problems opening the doors with keys, but this is not at all significant in general.

Luca, is polite and welcoming host. There were no difficulties in communication. Luca responded very fast to all our inquiries and requests. Also, check-in was prompt, easy, and without any problems. Place is very well located. Just in 10 minutes walking from the main square of Catania. The only moment that there is no central heating in the building and it was really chilly at the night time in this period of a year. So, it's better to ask the host for some extra blankets in advance if you're planning to come here in winter. All in all, Luca's place is really worth to pay attention on. I recommend to stay here.

Rodolfo provided us with valuable tips as for where to eat and what to see and was welcoming and responsive. The place is stylish and in a great location. Two important issues though: 1) there was no soap to wash hands (only tiny bit of dishsoap), although it was listed in the amenities; 2) toalet seat was absent.

Nicely renovated apartment in town center close to everything and walking distance to the train. Jhonny was a really great host, responding within minutes to any question or request. Self check in went perfectly. Well equipped kitchen, including espresso machine and coffee pods, and the most comfortable bed I’ve encountered on this trip. Although it’s on a busy street, the shutters and doors block the noise, and we slept well. Shower was a bit quirky but worked. WiFi went out once, but Jhonny fixed it immediately. Note that it’s upstairs with no elevator (noted in the listing) if you have heavy bags. We would stay again.

I liked the apartment, located in the center. It was warm and comfortable. Very comfortable bed. In the kitchen, everything was ready for breakfast and it was even possible to have dinner (there were products, salt, sugar, butter., Pasta ...) On the contrary there is a small shop. Recommend.

Casa di Elisa is a great place from which to enjoy Catania. Jhonny is an attentive host and can help you out. The Casa has everything you need and is perfectly quiet at night. The big double bed is great and there is a fold-out divan too. You're about 100m from the beautiful Teatro Bellini and 5 minutes stroll from the magnificent Piazza del Duomo. The city is vibrant and wonderful; if you want to see it "in private" just get up early and take a stroll. The fish market will already be in full swing so shop for some of the best fresh food you'll ever taste! Enjoy.

We had a wonderful time in Santo's Airbnb. Three of us stayed and the host gave us a lot of local tips. From the moment we landed in Catania, Santo was very helpful, he gave us recommendations for supermarkets, restaurants and best way to get to Etna. The location of the apartment is in the center and everything is close by. The kitchen is equipped and the place was larger than we expected. You can see the beautiful sunset from the apartment and we even witnessed the fireworks during the festival which were spectacular. Santo was kind enough to even drive us to the airport on the last day and made sure we had a pleasant time in Catania. I would highly recommend this Airbnb and hope to visit back soon :)

Excellent stay in this old apartment all in height. Two small terraces in the city center with a view of the domes and you can see Etna from the higher of the two. There are the necessary utensils and I cooked for 10 days. Claudio was a considerate, available host and gave me good directions to the city when I arrived. I recommend!

The room was as in picture. It was more as a hostel type with shared kitchen and more bathrooms. The room was on the main street so a lot of cars noise. But for us it was perfect because it was the most animated street and you could just walk right on it. We came in January so it was cold outside about 18 degrees Celsius during the day and in the night around 8 and the rooms were not heated so if you are a person that needs heat better not come in the winter. The room was really big and great view.

Great localization! Apartament is very close to the city center (main street) and bus stop (it's very easy to get to the airport). Contact with host was great. Cesare was very communicative, helpful and responded for all questions. Also, gave great advices regarding bar and restaurants in Catania and things to do.

Very clean and nice rooms. Sensational contact with the host. The only caveat I have about bathrooms, which could use some refurbishment, but I must admit that despite this they were very clean. The location is also sensational in the center, on the main street, so you have to be aware of the fact that it is a bit loud.

Overall a fine place near a beautiful park. The room is located in a huge apartment with many rooms and bathrooms adapted for rent. We had a room on the side of a busy street (via Etnea) and it was a bit loud, but it didn't bother us much.

If you are a light sleeper, take your earplugs as you can hear everything from the busy street and the other rooms..Apart from that it is a great place to stay and indeed very central. I do recommend it.

Apartment is in a great location, near lots of historical sites as well as great places to have some food! Our room was amazing, big, with balconies, comfortable bed, sockets to charge phones next to bed and very light! There was a TV for people interested in that and a few books (in Italian though). All and all a great stay!

It is a very well located accommodation to know Catania, the room is spacious and very comfortable and they have locked doors in the rooms for more privacy.

Everything according to expectations

Pietro’s place has a great location in the city of Catania. There’s a lot of great restaurants and bars close to the apartment and everything important you might wanna see is within a walking distance. The room is spacious, clean, cozy with two convenient balconies. Pietro is a great host, the communication was excellent and the self checkin is a big advantage. We would certainly recommend this place. We’re definitely planning to come back ourselves.

Pietro’s place was a beautiful room with a view over a garden in a great area in Catania. Lots of space in there and a nice place to hang out as it rained a bit. Easy walk into the central area just a few minutes away.

Cozy flat in perfect location. Perfect support before, during and even after the stay.

The location is good. The train station is not far away. It is not far to the attractions and popular restaurants. The landlord helped me to carry the boxes. I explained patiently the surrounding shops. Where to go to the airport and other refrigerators. I also prepared a lot of yogurt juice and breakfast bread. Very caring but the only regret is that the two Italian girls were chatting loudly at three in the morning next door (should be the same homestay), screaming and laughing loudly to wake me up and knock on the door and still be fine and everything was perfect

The apartment is easily accessible by bus / train (central station in 10-15 minutes away by foot). City center is 10 minutes walk away from the apartment. The neighborhood/houses may seem a little bit old, but we did not feel unsafe at all. The hosts were very helpful and we had a smooth communication / easy check in / check out process. We also received some welcome drinks / sweets and breakfast, which we really appreciated!

Giovanni's apartment is very close to the train station (also to Alibus from/to the Catania Airport!) and city center. Flat is very spacious, really bright and has balconies in literally every room. Apartment was very clean, and communication with Giovanni is very easy because he responds in no time. Wifi was very fast. Totally recommend!

About ten minutes walk on a main street to the Duomo and heart of Catania. There are grocery stores, bars, bus routes, etc along the way. You are within walking distance of everything you'd need. Check-in was easy, Marco picked me up from the airport! Exceptional host and kind, with great local tips and suggestions. Private room with shared bathroom and kitchen. Great value for the cost. Marco is a kind and helpful host, the apartment is located 10 minutes from Piazza Duomo, a clean and tidy room!

The appartment was amazing! In the old town of catania. The roof top terrace was perfect for having a nice breakfast. The daily market is just around the corner, where you can buy everything for a delicious breakfast. All in all, a great place to stay!

Accommodation in a very good and well-kept location

Great space with an awesome rooftop view. Close to most major attractions. We arrived a few hours early due to flight cancellation and rebooking and the staff were able to check us in at 11:30am instead of 1pm!

Nice, silent place not far from the centre (10 mins on foot). Well equipped - we even got planty of water in the bottles. Slightly overcrowded area - heavy to find a place to park a car - but that's like everywhere in Catania. Honestly recommend the place. You can easily go for Etna or for Syracuse. Or both :)

Melania is an excellent host, available and ready to answer every need: I felt like family :) The room is large, with an adorable balcony where you can enjoy the sun as soon as you wake up, a comfortable bed and strategic proximity to each point of interest (Roman amphitheater and via etnea 2 minutes on foot, metro station Stesicoro and Alibus for the airport around the corner)

The location was just perfect and we bought fish from the local market behind the apt. each morning and cooked it for dinner each night in the very functional kitchen. Very well located accommodation, on the main street of Catania, a stone's throw from the Bellini Garden and the Botanical Garden, almost halfway between Piazza Duomo and Catania Borgo station (where Circumetnea passes) and comfortably on the Alibus route from / to the airport (with € 4 you are already starting to get an idea of the city). On the fourth floor, the room is elegant, with a large wardrobe and beautiful light if the curtains are opened; unfortunately the windows of the balcony cannot isolate from the continuous noise of the traffic all night, and in winter it is better to have a light sweatshirt if you don't immediately sweat under the duvet. Independent and very simple check-in and excellent cleaning even in the large bathrooms and kitchen (although a larger dish drainer would be ideal). If you choose to eat with the tray in the room and not in the common areas, the shelf where the chair is located is a bit too high, I preferred to free the table near the bed (which also has useful USB sockets on the bedside table) . Ultimately high value for money: accommodation with almost hotel standard but with the comforts (use of kitchen, fridge, common areas) and the low costs of an economic BnB.

Luca has a wonderful apartment. I really liked how easy it was to check-in with the key box. There are four flights of stairs to climb to get to the apartment, just FYI. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. There were other guests while we were there, and we had no problem with sharing bathroom space or noise. Our room (#2) was adjacent to the bathroom so we did hear sink and shower noises but it wasn’t bothersome. The location is hard to beat! Parking was easy also. The room had a deadbolt lock as well which made me feel secure during our stay.

This place has a great location in Catania. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need if you want to cook. Luca was very nice and helpful and the check in was super easy. Great value

Nice place close to all the attractions. Kitchen and bathroom is shared with the two other rooms. Kitchen has everything needed to cook a meal. Hot water runs out quick so space your showers apart from others. Water cut out on the first night and Lucas father quickly came over and fixed it. Found the place quite cold at night in the winter with no heating.
