Alison’s place is a quirky, cosy, arty wee haven. Bigger than it looks in the photos. It’s in a perfect location and has everything you’ll need. And the train line at the back just adds to the adventure. I’ll definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Beach cottage, we always do. It is such a special place.

Our trip was amazing from start to finish. The cottage is lovely with spectacular views of the beach and sea. The beautiful front garden leads directly on to the beach which is only 10 minutes walk to the town centre, golf course and some great wee pubs and restaurants. Can’t recommend the cottage and Carnoustie enough! We will be back!

Spotlessly clean, well appointed room in a quiet residential location. Although the room is modest in size, it is very well equipped with a comfortable double bed, plenty storage for clothes, tea making facilities and even a bathrobe. Small touches make all the difference - fruit and herbal teas if you don’t want coffee late at night, personal toiletries, chilled water in a reusable bottle instead of single use plastic , a large bath towel, immaculate ( shared ) bathroom.

I stayed at Stephen's place for my last night in Scotland for this visit, and I absolutely recommend it. I had a car, and parking was easy. Stephen was very communicative with any necessary updates. Both Stephen and his wife were very welcoming and helpful, which created a more comfortable stay, and thanks to them for reading some instructions on some food I bought, my lunch was more delicious for my journey home! ;-) The neighbourhood is quiet, the bed is super comfy, so I had the perfect night's sleep, along with a good choice of breakfast to start the day. Thanks for everything Stephen, and if I'm back in Dundee I know where to stay!...and it would probably be with less text book filled luggage, hee hee! :-)

Thank you Sandra for being an amazing host and sharing your beautiful home with us. It was relaxing and pleasant to spend time there and to be able to be wake up to the seagulls and birds in the morning before heading to all our meetings in Dundee city centre. Lovely artsy house, great therapets (we wish we could have spent more time with Rufus and Angus!), and great location. Only 25 min during morning congestion to Dundee city centre via car but also a out 25 min at night to same area via bus. Bus is just a 2 min walk down from the house. We cannot wait to come back again (which we will since someone in our party is moving to the area🥰) and we will need to have time to settle into Dundee. Thank you again for everything and for the warm stay.

Sandra and her husband are great hosts and they make you feel like at home, so as their dogs :) the house is lovely and the rooms spacious; there is an access to a quiet beach 2 min perfect for the dog (they recommended it). we would definetly come back!

Sandra and Callum, Angus and Rufus are quite truthfully some of the absolute best hosts I've had the pleasure of staying with in all my years using Airbnb. It's unusual to feel such a sense of home when staying in another's home, but I really did here. Nothing was too much trouble, we chatted as if we were old friends. I'd just moved to the area and was flat-hunting and Sandra and Callum we so helpful, offering me suggestions of suitable places I might like. They even gifted me some earl grey tea after they found out I liked it and wee Christmas gift! I honestly didn't want to leave. Oh, and the fluffy duvet covers in the double room? Good luck peeling yourself out of that each morning! I simply can't recommend their place highly enough. Thank you SO much, Strathie family. What a perfect way to begin my relocation. xxx

I simply loved this place! The location is perfect, short walking distance to the station, bus stop and bars and supermarket just across the street. This apartment is the one with it all. Great location, right next to the golf club with views over toward the beach and North Sea beyond. Inside it was perfectly clean with everything you would expect and lots that you wouldn’t. Lovely stylish touches throughout and a great book of local attractions, restaurants and travel options. Netflix, WIFI all great Bed was comfier than my own. This host truly is a superhost.

We really enjoyed staying at this apartment in Carnoustie. It was newly refurbished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It is situated right opposite the famous golf links with sea views and coastal walks. It has private parking and is just a few minutes walk from take-aways, supermarkets, restaurants etc in the town itself. Lisa and Graham were very welcoming and friendly. They were also very accommodating when we arrived in the area a little earlier than originally planned!

We had the most lovely stay at this modern apartment with fab sea and golf course views. Lisa and Graham were so friendly and helpful. Carnoustie is a super location for a short break. We stayed 6 nights with 2 children and there was plenty of space to chill. Lots to do in the nearby towns and Dundee is a must and so easy to get to by train. Tuesday night is £10 for a 20" pizza at Titanic Pizza. We loved our stay. Thank you so much.

This is a great little apartment in a great location. It is an easy walk to excellent facilities nearby and the harbour area is full of interest. We took the train into Dundee for the day which was so much better and quicker than driving in.

Loved staying on the waterfront at this apartment. Good restaurant, The Boatyard, 100 mts away and great fish and chips at Marco’s almost next door. Apartment was clean and well equipped and the area has plenty to offer with great drives south along the coast to St Andrews and Crail and north to Aberdeen. Would love to return as we love Scotland.

The apartment was clean and comfortable with (almost) everything you need. It was in a great location, convenient for the town and supermarkets. The bedroom was at the back, so it was quiet to sleep in and the bed was comfy. The only downside I found was a couple of essential items were lacking - there was only one toilet roll provided. I was staying for 4 nights, so this seemed like an oversight to me, but when I questioned it, I was advised that only one is provided, if you need more you need to buy your own. I have travelled a lot and this is the first time I have ever needed to buy my own toilet roll! Also, there was no bin liner provided. I was advised that they could bring one to me the next day, but it would have been inconvenient to stay in waiting, and what was I supposed to do with any litter in the meantime? Also, although I did bring my own, there was no tea/coffee provided. It’s pretty common in almost anywhere you stay in the UK to have at last a couple of sachets/tea bags to welcome you. These are relatively small complaints, but conversely relatively easy to resolve as the fundamentals are all fine. It just took the edge off what would have been a fabulous stay and made it a great stay. Not enough to knock a full star off, but I would have knocked half a star off if that option was available.

This was a perfect place to stay for us as we toured the area, got to know Dundee and met up with family and friends. Tracey ans Craig were really helpful and the house is sparkling clean, beautifully kept and has all the amenities you could want for either for short or longer stays.

Tracey and Craig introduced themselves on the first night and were very helpful and were there if we needed them at all. Can recommend a stay here. Thanks to them both.

Tracey and Craig met us on arrival and showed us around the apartment, they were both welcoming and friendly. The house has everything you need for a relaxing break. We loved the spacious kitchen. Tracey has added many little personal touches and they were very much appreciated. We would definitely visit again.

Great spot! Private and cozy with all the little touches you could think of. Breakfast provided was one of the best we had in Scotland. Sad our visit was so short but we would gladly return! Tina gave me a long list of restaurants and we enjoyed getting an early dinner at the 19th hole in town before crashing after a long day of travel. If this is on your route in Scotland, definitely stay!

A beautiful cottage in a location with so much to offer. Lots of nice (and unique) shops and places to eat, and really easy access to Dundee and further out. It was very cold when we were there and we loved it, but it must be even better in summer with the beach being so close.

We only stayed one night as a stopover on our way to the Orkney islands. We couldn’t have had better hospitality, the cottage was immaculately clean and the towels were SO soft and fluffy! Perfect air bnb would happily stay again for a much longer break and recommend to others!

The flat was lovely, bright and spacious. It was like a home away from home while we visited relatives. The check in and out was easy with the key safe and the host was friendly. It's great that essentials are provided and it has good parking. We had a great stay and definitely would consider staying again on future visits to see our relatives.

Everything about my stay was fantastic. The location, the house itself, and the kindness and helpfulness of Noela were top notch. I would unhesitatingly stay with them again, should I return to Carnoustie.

Stuart & Noela's Bungalow was the best location in our 15 Days UK-Trip. We felt so good, that we have extended by one day. Super Clean and very good maintained. Great location for a few quiet days by the sea. It was much better than we expected. We found there everything we could need and even a lot more. Noela is very friendly, open and extremely nice. She gave us a lot of tips and was immediately on the spot when we asked her what. It was such a wonderful place to be there. Quiet and peaceful, perfect for us after visiting London. Our kids loved the empty beaches, the shell search on the rocks at low tide and the skatepark nearby. We have enjoyed watching the sea coming and going from the living room while drinking our coffees and we miss so much our long walks on the beach. We will come back some day for sure. fanastic vacation - great hosts - perfect view to the sea

Great house in an awesome location. Close to the beach, train, and shops. The hosts are quick to reply and very helpful.

The accommodation is a bungalow right on the water is very beautiful. Whether at breakfast or from the sofa or balcony you have the North Sea always in view and can enjoy. The kids had a lot of fun to go out and collect mountains by clam and climb over the rocks at low tide. The nearby playground also left no wishes open with the children. We were able to do some shopping on foot and park the car on the property. The communication was very fast and easy. And there is a thick folder with excursion destinations. I can recommend the accommodation and enjoyed relaxing in pleasant temperatures while the rest sweats in Europe. Thank you Stuart and Noela

Elspeth’s place is a cosy apartment right on the harbour - which is quite busy so you have lots of things to look at whilst sitting on the balcony enjoying a wine or two... The car park is right in front of the building - on the waters side, with the main entrance to the apartment down the side road. Very comfortable apartment and as per the photos. We had a great time using this as a base to explore the area both on foot and in the car. Loved the fresh flowers that Elspeth left us too - much appreciated...

Charles place is a good place to be based - a quiet suburban street, yet real easy access to main thoroughfares and bus routes into Dundee, and the rest of the Ferry. Charles made me very welcome, and very communicative - and his place is spotless, and very open to use the facilities. A very comfortable stay, all in all.

Charles is a very friendly and warm host, always happy to help and give good advice. The place is pleasant, comfortable and close to the seaside.

Stayed 2 nights with Charles while my friend was coming to visit. Really lovely flat in stunning location, right by broughty ferry. Charles was extremely quick at communicating and very accommodating around my work schedule! Very friendly host who even bought us breakfast and brought a TV into our room! Definitely recommend, extremely good value for money!

Delightful, cosy cottage in a lovely rural location right on the edge of Monikie country park. The cottage has all the necessary amenities and extra bonuses such as a pretty garden & a fireplace. We visited Montrose, Arbroath, Broughty Ferry & Dundee during our stay - all within a short drive of the property and with lots to see & do.

The cottage is in a lovely location and is very homely. It's very equip with everything you could need for a family holiday.

We recently returned from a short break staying at Woodside Cottage and had a wonderful time. The cottage itself is beautiful - spotlessly clean, cosy and very homely. It had everything we could possibly need. The location was ideal for us, just a short stroll from Monikie Park which was brilliant for my little boy. Fiona’s cottage is very stylish and sparkling clean. We had great time there as a family with two young kids. The cottage was fully equipped, with everything we could need. Irene displays a fitting testimony to grand Scottish hospitality and friendliness and you immediately feel most welcomed as a guest in her home. Irene's home is a joy to stay and offers fresh milk on her tea trolley on the landing next to the bedrooms in a wee fridge than rely on uht milk portions. I'm mentioning this as this is just one example of her points of detail to ensure she excels in making your stay a enjoyable experience. Offering a breakfast treat is also fantastic and would help any golfer to last the demanding choice of three nearby courses. The county of Angus is a delight to visit and I stake my airbb reputation and offer Irene one of my highest accolades and thoroughly recommend her place as a great base to explore this part of Scotland not just for golfers but other visitors also

This was our 3rd time here and once again we had a lovely time. House is perfectly situated, right on the beach, 2 mins from town and train station, playpark 5 mins away.

What a location! A really lovely, and very spacious modern house in the most incredible beach front location. The town is really lovely, and has everything you need in very short walking distance. The house is a great space and stayed lovely and warm during our stay. The fenced garden was perfect for our dog, and the garden literally backs onto the beach, which makes this so perfect for walking or rock-pooling with kids. We spent literally hours sat in front of the big patio windows staring out at the beautiful ocean. I really recommend this place, and we definitely intend to return. Thank you :)

The place was ideal, the dog loved it straight out of the garden onto the beach. Everything was to hand if you intend to cook couldn’t fault it. Will be back in the future as my cousin lives in Easthaven so just down the beach

We had a wonderful one-week stay here. We found it excellent value for money and very well located in Broughty Ferry, and the host was amazing.

The location is perfect. The Broughty Ferry is the best place you'd like to live in Dundee. Vincent and Sheena are very thoughtful and kind. The flat has everything you need and may be more. Very comfortable and lovely place. That was my best experience.

This flat is in a great location, near shops and the seafront. The place is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has limited working space so don't plan a 3 course meal there but it's suffice for the odd one pot meal. I would return for a short stay and recommend it such.

Lovely little spot. Very close to everything you need and nearby to beach and all the good spots in the Ferry.

Had a short midweek stay at this accommodation. Communication was good throughout, host was friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and had good facilities for the price. Would happily revisit.

I was given a very warm welcome with tea and biscuits. The accommodation was warm and comfortable and I had everything I needed. I îreally felt at home. I was given helpful advice about local amenities and a lift to the station to catch my train home.

The landlord is very good, the room is bright and clean, you can rest assured

Ruth and her family are lovely and easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable in their house. The room is spacious and clean and the neighborhood is quiet. I enjoyed my conversation with them over breakfast. Thanks for the tip about the Arbroath smokie, which one should try if passing through. I would definitely stay here again.
