  • Mags and Tommy were friendly and welcoming hosts and provided a cosy room for 2 nights in the delightful small village of Carnlough. All was as described in listing with excellent communication from Rach, with a lovely breakfast of cereal, fruit, yoghurt and toast. A highlight was the interesting and informative chats we had with Mags and Tommy and we really appreciated the pickup when the buses weren't running on the Sunday. A bus stop out front and eating options 5 mns walk away. Oh, Alfie was a friendly dog as well!

  • We have been in Ireland for three weeks. We've seen Trinity College, Titanic museum, City Hall of Belfast, many Cathedrals, Giant Causeway and many more, but the two days with Patricia and Tommy are the best souvenirs we are keeping from Ireland! Their house is cozy, neat, warm, welcoming, next to the beach and the pittoresque town. Our room was cute, confortable and had a view of the sea (and of the many rainbows!) and we had the greatess food of Ireland (Patricia is the best cook). So, in a world: you will be lucky to spend time with them! Enjoy it as much as we did!!! merci et au revoir Isabelle et Charlie (4 years old)

Situated in the quiet, historic village of Carnlough, this bungalow is nestled within the Glens of Antrim. Our property over looks a quiet beach, boasting a spectacular view, the Scottish mountains can be seen in the distance. With three gardens, including a sea front plot of land directly across the road, we offer plenty of outdoor space. From a great meal in one of the village's restaurants or craic in the local pubs, you’re sure to enjoy your stay. NI Tourism Certified.
When you book with us, you have full access to all facilities that the property comes with, including our gardens and our spacious garage. The property is unique in that it is close to both the village, beach and a safe environment for children to play! Pets are always welcome at our property as we believe that every member of the family should enjoy a getaway trip! We do request your pets are not on our furniture for health and safety reasons and that we put a huge amount of effort into maintaining the property. I’d also ask that should pets be brought into bedrooms, they do not go on beds for similar reasons as listed above and appropriate pet bedding will be necessary. The land around the property is meticulously maintained by a fantastic landscaper, who is always developing the exterior so we would request pets are cleaned up after and supervised around the gardens. Thank you for respecting our property!

A 45 minute beautiful drive along the coast will take you to the ‘Dark Hedges’, one of Ireland and Game of Thrones most famous locations. A drive of 40 minutes into the city centre will lead you to the Titanic museum, designed to give a real factual and fascinating insight into the history of the ship and its passengers. • Shay’s home is fantastic, its extremely clean and if you are looking value for money it is perfect for a get away up the coast. Having the beach on your doorstep is a big bonus, especially as Shay welcomes pets to his home! The beach is literally across the road! If your looking for a clean well priced stay on the on the coast I would recommend Shay’s home!

  • Really cosy home in a lovely setting. Carnlough is a very friendly town and loads to see in the area. Shay the host always replied quickly and was very nice. He even picked us up from the pub on new year's day. I would definitely recommend his home for a break and we hope to return. The welcome pack was also a nice touch.

  • We stayed at Rebecca's place - The Lookout for 2 nights and it was amazing. She is superhost as she ensured everything was taken care of before we arrived. The place is amazing and the view from the main window in the living area is spectacular. The view from both rooms on top floor is amazing too - one with sea view and other with the road-side view. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were tidy and all toiletries were available. She also left some eatables, milk and basic kitchen items for us to grab a bite as soon as we reached the place. We were lucky that the weather was nice during this time of the year and we had a pleasant trip. Thanks rebecca for making our trip memorable, even my 5 year old loved your place. We would love to stay at your place again and recommend to our friends.

    Bhavna2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very comfortable few nights in The Lookout. It was impeccably clean and very cosy and has obviously been recently renovated, which I hadn’t expected from the pictures. Rebecca was a great host and there were lots of thoughtful touches throughout the place which made us feel very welcome. The views from the window are very special, even in the pouring rain (there is a reason N’Ireland is so green and beautiful!). We loved walking in Glenarm Forest (and Red Squirrel spotting) and the beach at Cushendun. There’s so much to see and do outside of the main attractions.

    Jessica2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent! Wonderful stay at Rebecca, a lovely host, a warm welcome. The house is cozy. The view is breathtaking. Nothing is missing. It's just perfect!

    Fabrice2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • The Lookout is a beautifully decorated villa with a fantastic view out towards the sea. The host Rebecca was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Rebecca had left essentials throughout the house such as extra toiletries, breakfast items and tea/coffee. I couldn’t have wished for a better experience for my first Airbnb.

    Ryan2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • The Lookout is a wonderfully cosy haven set in the quaint town of Glenarm. The Antrim coast, with it’s coastal causeway has numerous small towns and natural geography to explore. We played at local golf courses which challenged us with towering cliffs and spectacular views. The picture window overlooking the bay was a great ‘nest’ for evening drinks. Sunsets in the evenings lit the coast and in the morning the sleepy town rose picturesquely. The Lookout itself was very well appointed, very clean and containing all amenities. Kitchen and bathrooms were immaculate and with all modern features. One or two couples would find this a perfect vacation retreat.

    James2019-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • The lookout is an ideal house for a relaxing getaway along the coast. There are spectacular views and the house itself is so cosy and relaxing with modern furnishings with lovely personal touches. It's close to plenty of attractions.

    Orla2019-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • Rebecca's house is perfectly in line with her announcement. It feels like home. The view is amazing, the location is perfect for shining on the coast between the Giants Causeway and Belfast. Thank you so much Rebecca!

    Aurélie2019-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastically located house with a beautiful view of the sea. Everything was spotlessly clean and there were some very thoughtful touches such as pancakes, milk, butter, coffee, tea and biscuits. There was also toiletries available should one have forgotten anything. All in all it was like staying at home and very cosy. The area is very quiet at night and so you can quite easily get a good nights sleep. The beds are comfortable and so are the sofas. Theres parking off street which was very handy and nearby you can walk to the Glenarm gardens or access the coastal road in a matter of seconds. We travelled from Belfast and it took 40minutes and commuting around via car was quite easily done. Rebecca was always in constant communication and did everything to make our stay pleasant and accommodate our timings. I would recommend this property and this host anytime! Thank you.

  • We genuinely don't have enough superlatives for this place. The welcome was so warm, our little boy loved his pumpkin 🎃 . It's comfortable, cosy, beautifully decorated with fantastic attention to small details, as well as spotlessly clean in every area. The place is safe and secluded, an absolute haven with access to spectacular scenery and walks. Book it, you will not be disappointed. We cannot wait to return. Thanks Ronan, Helen & Family.

    Lesley2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful couple of days staying in this very comfortable caravan. Very well appointed, really clean and beautiful views. Our hosts were extremely accommodating and had provided extra heaters for us to help with the chillier autumn nights. Ronan and Helen were the perfect hosts. Would recommend for easy access to lots of beautiful Irish countryside. Will have many happy memories for some time!

    Ruth2019-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay. Very cosy place and amazing hosts. The location was a good base to explore the coast and also allows for a day trip to Belfast.

  • Thank you Ronan and Helen for your outstanding hospitality for our stay, all your little touches made us feel extremely welcome, my Dad was already wishing we could return as we drove into Belfast , our purpose for the trip that we both needed to relax and enjoy quality time together , we got just that with the serene environment you provided , not to mention the outstanding views, the children had the best time EVER on the hay stacks and said they made wonderful friends ! 😊we will most definitely be back!!! Many many thanks ! Emma

    Emma2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding area of natural beauty the blurb said! Well, add to that outstanding hosts, outstanding accommodation, outstanding friendliness and you'll find an outstanding breakaway! We were so surprised to hear that this mobile home was approximately 25yrs old. Ronan and Clare have it finished to such a beautiful standard, you'd think it was brand new and you feel like you're the 1st ones there. It has everything you need and the wee touches when you arrive, fridge essentials, tea, coffee etc are topped off nicely by the sweet treats and wee bottle of Briarfield sloeberry gin! The view from the decking is fantastic and a lovely way to start the day, cuppa in hand watching the sunrise (rocking chairs included). We travelled with our 2 boys aged 9 and 12 and they loved it. We can highly recommend Ronan and Helens place, (we just hope it's not already booked out when we get the chance ourselves to go back again😊). Thanks for a great long weekend guys, to the lovely Alistair too, definitely hope to avail of your wonderful hospitality again soon.

We were lucky to witness a variety of weather conditions and looking out onto the bay in sunshine, rain, day and night with clear skies was breathtaking! All in all it was an amazing experience and would 100% stay again if we're ever exploring Belfast and the Nothern Ireland region!

    Kieran2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Really recommend a stay in one of the five Pods available. The views are really amazing.

As my foot was bothering me due to boots that were not quite broken in, she kindly drove us into town so that we could have dinner and also picked us up after dinner. She has lots of knowledge about the area and also provided a wonderful breakfast the next morning. She is a true Super Host!!

  • Debbie's property was perfect for a weekend away with a big group, the house was spacious and very homely. The view across the water was really spectacular, the photos do not do it justice, and the house was close to the town centre. Debbie was also very hospitable and responded quickly.

  • We were met with keys and shown into a beautiful, clean and comfortable space with incredible views. It was totally worth the money and my wife and I will be returning and staying here again. Elaine was extremely kind and helpful, and I really appreciated the cleanliness of the place. There is even a freakin washer for your clothes, in addition to an oven and stove, sink and view of a beautiful mountain/hill from the sink. Great water pressure when you take a shower and it's about a 1 minute drive to the oceanfront.

    sheldon2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Elaine’s place is perfectly finished, clean, modern and stylish. It’s comfortable and warm, the bed is amazing, the shower is powerful with instant hot water and the kitchen/dining/living room has all you could need for a short or long stay. It’s beautifully situated with mountains on either side, making for incredible views, as well as being so close to the beach and the forest park. Elaine was so accommodating and thoughtful, and very efficient in communication too. Cannot recommend highly enough and would be delighted to return as soon as we get the chance

    Sam2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • 100% recommendation for this appartment. We stayed there for 3 nights and it was the best stay we had in our vacation.

    Robert2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying here! Elaine’s holiday accommodation is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need for a self catering break. Elaine had kindly left us the essentials for a cuppa when we arrived. There is a boardwalk at the end of the road which leads to a beach cafe. Elaine has provided a bbq which we made great use out of and all the necessary accessories were provided. There is a fire pit to sit around as the evening draws in. Our break here was a relaxing tranquil break where we were very well looked after. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and extremely clean. There are plenty of tvs for all the family and of course the necessary Wi-fi. We will definitely be returning. Thanks Elaine

  • Had a fantastic stay at Glenhaven. The pictures don't do the views justice, such a scenic and peaceful location. So much space and great for kids. Everything you need and more, Elaine was more than accommodating providing a travel cot and highchair, and lovely touches like milk and pancakes on our arrival. House was spotless and location excellent for exploring the Causeway Coast & Glens. Hope to return again in the future.

    Jacqui2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is one of those places you want to keep as your own little secret. But the hosts Eileen & Eamon were so welcoming and sincere that they really do deserve all the success in the world. It's a peaceful, relaxing, idyllic location and exactly what we needed. We're all looking forward to going back and would highly recommend.

    Sam2019-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • We have been to Ireland three times and for our fourth trip we wanted to do the north coast. We have two boys, 2 and 4 years old. This house blew us away and was better than we could have ever imagined. Everything about our stay here was like a dream. The location was set in beautiful mountains on either side but if you drove three minutes there was a beach and grocery store. Elaine, Eamon, and their children were so accommodating and gracious. They made our stay, as well as our children's perfect. She had toys for the boys to play with inside and out and my son can't stop talking about his Thomas the Train bedspread she put out for him! Their family graciously invited the boys to hold and feed a lamb and some sheep. The location is also only about 30-40 minutes from all the areas along the north coast we wanted to visit. We will remember this trip forever and will absolutely be back again!

    Kate2019-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • Elaine's cottage possibly ranks as the best Airbnb we have stayed in so far! It's decorated to be cosy, clean & stylish and you instantly feel at home and the local knowledge is immensely helpful and thorough. The area was stunningly picturesque and refreshing and we would highly recommend both the cottage and area for a relaxing retreat.

  • You defiantly need a car to get around here but beautiful scenery and location. House was amazing the pictures don’t do it justice was really happy to find tea and coffee and sugar on arrival as we arrived really late. There is a little shop on the same road good for bread and bacon, papers and milk etc. Didn’t meet Marie but communication was brilliant.

This quaint cottage is perched on one of the best coastal drives on the planet. Fallowvee cottage in Glenariff has a stunning absolute shoreline position. This amazing home has been awarded the Tourist Board "Rural Cottage of the Year" . The two-bedroom cottage has been sensitively restored and upgraded to include all home comforts. Historically part of Lady Londonderry’s estate the weighbridge and pier was gifted to Sir Winston Churchill. Minimum7 nights in high season( June-sept, Xmas, Easter)
Located in the heart of the Famous Glens of Antrim. A short drive to the Giants Causeway , Bushmills Village, Portrush , Ballycastle . Less than one hours drive to Belfast
  • We really enjoyed our stay at this rustic coastal house. The views are stunning and the cosy fire was lovely for evenings in. You will need a car to get around but I think most people know that as there is lots to explore along the coast. Thanks

    Lucie2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This place is as beautiful in reality, as it is in the photographs. It is one of the very few properties along the coast line that is right on the ocean--most have the coastal road between the place and the ocean. The cottage was clean and had all the amenities that it lists. The sitting/family room in front of the fire is a perfect setting to relax as the Atlantic crashes into the shore below. While the weather was typical for November, the rain and high seas add to the charm of this cottage. There are some nice places to eat/drink in some of the villages a short drive from the cottage. Of the 10 or so airbnbs we have stayed in 5 countries, this place had the most authentic character. Highly recommend!

    Philip2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Wow the view alone is worth visiting for! What an amazing scenic little spot! The cottage is quaint and decorated with an array of quirky maritime/farming decor, with some beautiful artwork on display! Kitchen well equipped and lovely open fire. We had a wonderful time, would love to return, and the definite highlight was the waves crashing the rocks below!

    Laura2019-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • LOVED this cottage! Incredible view and very quiet and peaceful. Super cute as well and I loved the antique touches.

    Alyssa2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • We wanted to stay somewhere close by after our wedding that we could chill and just reflect on our day. This was the perfect location. The peace and quiet of the sea and the warm fire was the perfect combination. The boardwalk especially down the sea is pretty magical. It's on our list to stay here again as it was just amazing. Johanna was very helpful in her communication and Una for making sure the fire was lit and we had all we needed.

    Adam2019-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Such a gorgeous spot and such a lovely cosy house. I could happily wake up to that view every morning. Lovely find and one of the nicest Air BnBs I've stayed in , thanks Una and Johanna. Tip: the food up at McBrides Pub in Cushendun is some of the best I've had up the coast

  • We arrived relatively late off the Belfast ferry from Birkenhead. Keeping in touch with Gillian with regards to our arrival time is really easy. Gillian had very kindly left milk, bread, butter and eggs in the fridge for us, such a kind thought. We thoroughly recommend this place. The location beside the sea, with views across to the Mull of Kintyre, the comfortable space and the parking is all great. We saw a family group of porpoises heading north across the bay one evening followed by a traditional sail boat heading for the Maritime Festival at Ballycastle. Magic.

  • The accommodation is right beside the water and so your views are lovely, particularly at sunrise. Tastefully decorated, clean and some lovely welcoming touches from Gillian. She is a great relaxed host! Just be aware that the building is made of stone so can be very cold!

    Rebecca2017-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic spot. Although on the road, it is really quiet and you wouldn't know. And just across is the sea, nothing like smelling fresh sea air first thing in the morning! Fresh eggs, Milk and bread....and we were allowed to have our dog stay as well! Such a fab few days exploring the surrounding area.

    Soph2017-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Gillian made us feel very welcome, its a great cottage and a great location on one of the most beautiful coastlines I've had the pleasure to explore. very quiet and peaceful.

  • Gillian was really friendly and welcoming. The cottage is in a beautiful location with amazing views from all the windows. It's a good size, lots of space for 2 people. There's plenty of space to park and it would work really well as a base for exploring the coast road.

Sympathetically restored cottage in the sleepy conservation village of Glenarm. Shared garden with No 26 with sea views. Ideal location to explore the beautiful Causeway Coastal route and the Glens of Antrim. Accommodation comprises one double room, one twin room and a bathroom. Downstairs is an open plan kitchen/dining/living area. Parking is available for one car outside.
Glenarm is a pretty village on the Antrim Coast with lovely drives & great walks. Nearby are locations of Game of Thrones. The Castle has a lovely cafe & a shop selling local craft goods. There is another shop in the grounds with fashionable clothes for men & women- definitely worth a visit. The village is also home to a Jewellery Workshop & Shop To try Guinness & other drinks there are two traditional pubs. In the next village, Carnlough, there is a hotel with great pub food. This is where you will find a Supermarket.
  • Beautiful cottage, sure to return again.

  • Lovely house in a dreamy village. Sparkling clean, beautifully restored charming cottage. Glenarm is like from fairy tale, Grimms could live there, with castle, forest, hills...My son regretted to not bring fishing rods with him - river as the sea are full of fish there. Playground is beautiful - one of the best on the coast. Children had lots of fun there and it is right on the beach.... Plenty to do around the coast. I couldn't get enough of Coastal Drive. Lovely beaches. And people...very nice and chatty. We had wonderful time.

A charming cottage on a working farm in a unique location on the Glenarm Castle Estate in the first of the nine Glens of Antrim as you drive north along the famous Coast Rd. It's colour & individual style is the hallmark of the artist whose home it has been for the past 25 years. No square corners, retro with few mod cons, wifi, no shower but a long bath. Lovely walks along a salmon river; ancient indigenous oak woods & frequent sightings of red squirrels. Children welcome. Dogs negotiable.
Basic but comfortable & friendly; a perfect antidote to 21st century life. A secret shared.
You could easily spend a week here : off public roads in the middle of a lush, unspoilt glen grazed by organic shorthorn cattle & sheep, with a salmon river (daily fishing permits can be bought on request), the sea only a mile away, Glenarm Castle's restored walled garden & cafe (half price entry on proof of booking) & a pretty historic village to explore on foot before you need to get in your car.
  • Flora’s cottage is a truly unique uplifting space created by an artist. It is full of books and objects to delight the soul and is supremely peaceful. It is like stepping back in time to enjoy the artistic space of a 1920s creative. It is comfy, welcoming and spotless. It is a privilege to be allowed to stay.

    Andrea2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • The Mill house is a beautiful cottage in stunning and tranquil surroundings. If you are looking for a quirky place to stay with lots of love to detail and personal touch, you just found it! It is suitable for families (amazing selection of games, children's books, art materials) to keep the children entertained on rainy days as well as a perfect place for someone to recharge the batteries and relax. All major tourist attractions of Antrim are accessible from this haven of peace. We loved every minute of our stay and could not have had a nicer and more welcoming host.

  • We are a family of two adults and two kids 9 and 11. We had a two night break in glen haven and we just had a great time. The cottage is spotless and so comfortable just to relax in and is also a great location to explore the glens of antrim, the stunning Glenariffe forest and the Causeway coastal drive. It’s near several nice beaches and places to hike. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. Never slept so well as all the beds are extremely comfortable. The kids loved the freedom of being in the countryside and getting to feed the sheep and play rounders etc outside . Seeing the sheepdogs in action was a real bonus and highlight for them and us . There is nice walks from the cottage up the glen with fabulous views of the surrounding area. The beach is only a few minutes drive and very easy to pop down to for a stroll. We ate in some really nice restaurants near by in Cushendall and drove the beautiful coast road to the giants causeway stopping along the way in places like Torr head. We also went to Glenariffe forest which is very close by which was just fabulous with beautiful walks and stunning waterfalls. This is my first time using Airbnb and it really was a great experience . Elaine and Eamon were so welcoming and it’s great to meet the locals and find out all the best places to visit. Elaine and Eamon went out of their way to make our short stay very memorable . Our kids loved the cottage and were excited seeing rabbits playing out in the field in the early morning and coming across pheasants while they were out walking . We spotted red squirrels in Glenariffe forest which was lovely to see. It was a great weekend and already have decided on a return visit for a week.

  • We loved staying at this Airbnb! It is a great location for exploring the Antrim Coast. The setting is gorgeous and pastoral. We had a view of the sheep in the field with a dramatic backdrop of mountains on both sides. Elaine was a very gracious and warm host. She had great suggestions about what to see and where it all was. The house is clean and nice. When the airline lost my bag, she loaned me laundry detergent to wash my clothes and offered to wait for my luggage the next day while we went sight seeing. Her kindness and hospitality went above and beyond what we expected... We would love to visit again!

    Patricia2018-07-23T00:00:00Z

  • A truly magical place! The house is modern, immaculate and in the most spectacular setting. It has everything you could need and is close to shops, attractions and the beach. Elaine and Eamon were wonderful hosts who went above and beyond (even allowing our kids to feed and pet the sheep!). We couldn’t have asked for more and will most definitely be back. Thanks for your hospitality Elaine and Eamon - this place is amazing and you are so lovely!

Channel Vista is situated on the world famous and scenic Antrim Coast Road, approximately 30 miles from Belfast and approximately 42 miles from the Giant's Causeway, overlooking the picturesque Glenarm Bay and Marina.
The unique mystery and beautiful scenery of the Antrim Glens make Channel Vista a perfect place from which to explore the surrounding countryside
Channel Vista is situated in the neighbourhood of Glenarm, within walking distance of the historic Glenarm Castle. Tea rooms are convenient in the high season and there is also a Saturday night dining facility which is very high quality with bob. Glenarm forest provides as lovely walking opportunity as does the coastal path out to the Mad Man's Window.
  • Karen's accommodation is truly wonderful, very large, the sea view is splendid and this place is a great base for exploring the coast and making trips to Belfast. We were really charmed by the beauty of the Northern Ireland coast.

We were so impressed with her willingness to go out of her way to help us with our little ones and their needs away from home. Thank you Karen!
