Major supermarkets are one suburb away in either direction (both accessible by train). UQ is 10 minutes away. If you play golf I can arrange a round at Indooroopilly Golf Club.

Walking to the centre is via the harbour wall, a peaceful stroll with yachts and power boats less than 50 metres away.
