My wife and I booked Mila’s place for an entire month as we transitioned from Bend, Oregon to St. Louis MO. We could not have dreamed of a better host and space during of first few weeks in this new city! Mila is endlessly kind, whenever we had a request or mild complaint she was quick to respond and help. Absolutely worth the value!

Such a great place! The little touches are what really impressed me. Mila provided plenty of referrals for things to do, in the neighborhood and downtown alike. The area is very quaint and nice, right off the highway from downtown and there is a convenience store right at the end of the road for anything you might need (that Mila hasn’t already provided :) ) Overall an amazing stay, perfect for a quiet getaway!

I was in St. Louis for research and Nermi's place provided an affordable and comfortable room for my week-long stay. The location was pretty good in terms of access to public transportation for where I needed to go in St. Louis. Nermi was a responsive and understanding host and I was happy to make friends with her dog, Lilly.

JoAnn is an amazing host! She is mindful and strikes a perfect balance between being available and allowing space. It is not easy to share a home with someone, but JoAnn does it with kind graciousness! Because the room is on the third floor, there are stairs-but the plus side is it is extremely quiet AND you get daily exercise 😊! I enjoyed being able to walk anywhere-to the park, the gardens, to church, for coffee or a bite. As a single woman I felt completely safe. I highly recommend JoAnn’s place!

JoAnn was amazing! Parking is just right in front of the house, location is easy to assess to many good restaurants, the famous Botanic garden, museums, highways, etc. Making life so much easier and really pleasant as I am new to St. Louis for my internship!

The room is perfect if you need a space to stay near the city. Short drives to many different locations and the host is very helpful with directions and suggestions. The amenities are great, and you have a good amount of dedicated space in the kitchen for any supplies you might need. A word of warning though, be ready to traverse two floors of stairs often!

Home is in a quiet, cozy neighborhood. John was very welcoming and courteous during my 1 month stay--took me around the city, offered coffee, and made sure I was comfortable.

John has been a great host for my 1-month stay in St.Louis. On my arrival he showed me around in St.Louis and we went to see Oklahoma at the Muny in Forest Park. He is really going the extra mile to be there for his guests. If you get to stay with John, you will experience great hospitality and feel at home in a foreign city immediately. Whenever there is anything needed, be sure John is eager to help you! But even if you are less of a contact guy, that is no problem as well, as there is no pressure or forced conversation. The house is in a great location and neighborhood. The kitchen got everything you need, and as John shares his groceries with his guests, you will always be able to find something. Air conditioning is alright, even though it was tough for me to get used to 72F in the house and 85+F outdoors. Bathroom is alright as well. The room I had, had a big bed and enough space to store everything I needed. The metro link is close enough to be reachable and is okay to get to different places in town, even though I would strongly recommend to use a car in St.Louis, as everything is far spread. I needed a temporary place to stay in a short notice and requested a week to week accommodation. I did not have any problem during my stay and Mr Lowe has been an engaging host.

John was a perfect host and I couldn't have chosen to stay with a better person in St. Louis. The house is very clean and my room was comfortable with a big bed. This was the first time I tried Airbnb and John went the extra mile to make me feel at home. He offered to drop me to office the first day. He helped me in purchasing my car - drove me to many prospective sellers and even helped to get the car serviced. He knows a ton about cars. Always offered to make me a coffee every morning and always ensured there was breakfast available in the morning. He also took me out on hikes and trails. One weekend, we also went to Ozarks. I am fortunate to have found such a good host. Will definitely stay with him again next time.

Wonderfully accommodating! Adorable home and her kitty is the sweetest thing! I would absolutely stay here again. Very comfortable bed, nice space down stairs with a private entrance and access to the house. The bathroom is conveniently located at the top of the steps. Very easy access and great communication! Lisa’s place was beautiful. He cat was so nice and loved to be downstairs with us. Every room of the house has a very personal touch and a style I just adore. Don’t be afraid to come in the winter time, she has plenty of rugs to keep your feet warm and the heater down there works great. The chrome cast tv was definitely a plus, and the mine fridge and microwave were much needed. I can’t wait to come back and stay again.

Great little place!

Very stylish place! The decorations and feel of the home were awesome. Having our own entrance and area in the basement kept everything very private though I wish I had seen the host to let her know how cool the place was. If you're not a pet person (cats, dogs, ducks) then this may not be the place for you, but my fiancee and I thought it was a really cool stay.

10/10 First off let me just say how cute this space was! If you enjoy the atmosphere of what I think feels like an artists home then this is the place for you. Lisa was so sweet and helped us with anything we needed. While we didn’t ever get the chance to met I would love to say that our other host Jude was quite the gentleman. It was a really short drive to the concert venue we went to as well as forest park. The best atmosphere, hospitality, location, and value in Stl. Will totally try to stay again.

The place was perfect for my husband and myself. It’s clean and location was great. Gilda was very quick to respond and offer any help as needed. The Energy in the space was good feeling. We did leave early because of the coronavirus. No fault to ours or hers.

A wonderful and cozy spot to relax and have a peaceful stay. The amenities included a laptop, tv with plenty to watch, lots of covers, space heater, a few toiletries, beverages, lots of good books, and several places to sit and unwind, all made the place very homey and comfortable. We found the place quiet, clean, private, and very nicely & uniquely decorated. All around a really great stay!

Simon’s place is awesome! It’s very chic and styled perfectly! Simon is awesome! He’s a friendly talker, and super smart. He made sure that I was having a good stay, and he accomplished it and then some. If I ever find myself in St. Louis again, I’d rebook in a heartbeat.

Simon was a great host, he always answered my questions super quickly and gave us great tips when we arrived, which is worth seeing. The entire apartment is decorated in a very chic style & the room is very large & spacious. The private bathroom is right next to the room and there is free parking on the property. The apartment is in a very quiet neighborhood. A self-check-in is possible at any time thanks to a code lock on the front door. Simon is very friendly, funny and humorous, we sat together one evening and had a lot of fun. The entire property was spotlessly clean, I highly recommend it.

This place is a hidden gem! Close to a cute street with many shops and a beautiful park. The space was bigger than expected, very clean, and the bed was super comfy. Check in was smooth and we had plenty of street parking. I will definitely stay again next time I’m passing through Saint Louis.

There was a huge bath tub with jets that was a big suprise to me. The room was cold because we didn't know about the space heater located next to the TV. Other then that it was beautiful.

Easy to locate with easy check in instructions. Nice room and bathroom. Price per night is probably too low considering how nice everything was from location to cleanliness.

Neighborhood is residential and quiet, with easy access to restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. This is a room in Jordan's house, so at first I didn't know what to expect in terms of access at odd hours and negotiation of bathroom/kitchen in the mornings. Jordan replied quickly to my inquires before the stay and was out early in the mornings so it felt like I had the place to my own! At the same time, it was fun to chat with him when he returned from work, yet unobtrusive as he had other things going on and again I often had the place to myself in the evening. Place was comfortable, clean, and stylish. Fantastic for my stay. Thanks, Jordan.

We stayed here for one night of our road trip across the country and it was our favorite air bnb of the trip. The space is even nicer than it looks in photos, we loved the artsy quirkiness of the decor and the openness from the high ceilings and sources of natural light. We felt like we were kids again staying in our dream “adult clubhouse.” Communicating with Elsie was easy and check in/check out was seamless. We will definitely stay here again if we’re ever back in St. Louis.

Elsie was a great host. Her carriage house was really cool and eclectic, and she had coffee, bread , and jam ava I'll label in case you needed a snack. She also had a great coloring and art table setup that would be great to use for kids, or an adult who just wants to enjoy out for a bit. I enjoyed her space and would definitely stay there again!

This is an awesome spot. Great location and amenities for the price. Elsie was extremely helpful and responsive. Highly recommend. Just a watch out - as others have said, the bed is actually two twin beds pushed together, but still worked fine for my partner and I.

The carriage house was incredible. Many people come to St.Louis and don’t know what to expect, this studio gives people a proper idea of what things are about here. it’s not always crime, or bad; St.Louis is rich in culture, history, art, etc. Elsie does an amazing job at showcasing a unique twist on St.Louis luxury. I would live in this space if I could.

This Airbnb looks like its out of a magazine. It’s complete eye candy, everywhere you look is a unique touch that makes the whole space feel so playful yet relaxing. And the space is comfy! The heating system is powerful and I felt totally cozy even with the industrial features. Would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful home for a cheap stay with a great host. Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom was a super plus, and the amenity basket. Only detractor was that the home is in a slightly sketchy area.

This was by far the best Airbnb my girlfriend and I had either ever been to. Shelley goes above and beyond with amenities as well as providing a comfortable, sparkling clean room. I would come back here time after time.

I cannot recommend Shelley's place enough! Her home is beautiful, everything was clean and extremely organized, and I encountered no issues during my stay. I was a bit worried about finding parking, but street parking is ample. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

Love the classy old brick houses in this neighborhood. Very close to my new job and the University as well. Love the laid back atmosphere, hard wood floors and stained glass in this classic house.

It's really lucky for me to find a room in Heather's house. It's quite near to WashU and the Metrolink station, also in the walking distance to United Provisions which sells Asian foods. Heather and the roomate Beata are very nice people. And I couldn't forget the night when they invited me to their party, where they made a fire in the yard and made the baked marshmellow (amazing taste!). Heather's warm-hearted and helped me a lot during my short stay. Thank her for all these.

Heather's house is so charming. Great location. The subway is only at a 10 minutes walking distance, the university campus is also very close and the neighborhood is super safe. I didn't get to know Heather very well, since she was also traveling that weekend, but our interactions were super warm. I would completely recommend staying with her, whether you are visiting the university or simply touristing in the city.

My first visit to St. Louis and didn't want to leave. So much to see and do! Heather's space is perfect to relax see the sites - very close to public transit and I rented a bike for a day. I stored some food in the fridge and the kitchen has exactly what you need. Bed comfy and shower - lovely. Used the laundry facilities, so convenient. I lucked out as Heather was available to introduce me to a couple local events making the visit so rich and engaging. Forest Park is nearby and worth a visit - it will take at least a day to enjoy the free museums and zoo! Thank you for an exceptional Airbnb experience.

Cozy, comfy stay in St Louis!

Ryan's place was very good and clean. We had a very comfortable stay. Really liked his idea of taking instant pictures and pasting them on the wall to make it personal. He was very good with giving us local tips and communication too.

For a quick & simple stay in town before an event the next day, this was a perfect setup. Interacted with the host & his roommate, which made for some interesting conversation.

Just like the pictures! Very cozy and Ryan made us feel comfortable and right at home. Would definitely recommend.

This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed at David’s place and it was the first time I had trouble checking in using the door code. It was no problem though because I easily got a hold of him thru phone and helped me. I like that they always keep the place really clean. Definitely recommend!

This was my first time staying at an Airbnb. This was a very pleasant stay. Everything was as described. The room was very clean and neat, as was the bathroom. The common areas (kitchen, dining room, and living room) were very nice with updated appliances and comfortable sitting areas. 💯 The surrounding neighborhood was awesome with restaurants, Whole Food Store, etc. All in all a very good experience! 💯 Will definitely stay again 👍🏾

Great location above a Starbucks but not much noise. Nice entertainment system and very friendly host. Lots of places to walk to so no car needed, but if you have one, good safe parking.

This review comes after my sixth visit to Jason's place in as many weeks. (You can see my earlier reviews by scrolling through.) Every visit has exceeded my expectations, and Jason's place has been my home away from home on Mondays through Wednesdays. It's comfortable, cozy, and well-equipped. It is always spotless, and the linens and towels are fresh. Coffee maker? Yes. Coffee? Yes. Milk/Cream? Yes. Shampoo and conditioner? Yes. Body wash? Yes. Toothbrush if you forgot? Yes. And so on . . . My previous reviews spoke of the location, and let me emphasize that it is perfect if you have business in Clayton or at WashU. There is parking if you come in a car. If not, everything is a short walk or quick Uber ride. And restaurants are just around the corner. Even on Monday nights when most eateries close you can go to I Fratellini for a terrific Italian dinner. Prefer a latte in the am? Starbuck's is downstairs. And value? The rates are lower than other nearbly places, places that are not nearly as comfortable. Jason's place is now my go-to spot for future visits to STL. It should be yours as well.

Jason’s home is a nice option in the Clayton area. It has a lot of charm and nice touches provided by the host, and the area is very convenient, with stress-free parking and easy access to everything in the surrounding area. Jason was very quick and helpful whenever we had any questions.

Wonderfully secure; keypad lock on side entrance AND your room. Walk-able neighborhood. Close to Central West End (food, shopping, public library...) Forest park is locks away. Whole Foods or Straub's for groceries and a little corner store round the corner that makes AMAZING subs! The Murphy room s by the stairs and you can hear people coming and going but it's still pleasant and pretty quiet!

Gorgeous old home. The Murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable, the bathroom was SPOTLESS with fantastic water pressure. It is winter and the building has radiant heat so I had to open windows and put on a fan because it was very warm when I showed up. Could hear others walking around sometimes, but still felt very private.

Pretty great experience, very hospitable and a nice cozy room. The bathroom was very nice, I didn’t really check out any of the other amenities of the house but it seems like a nice quiet place.

Talk about a great experience... I felt completely safe, the house was secure, clean, and as advertised. Extremely prompt replies on questions I had, they made my abour trip, so much easier. Being on my on this trip, I didn't feel as safe in a motel that anyone could just walk into. The home was lovely. Wish I could of seen the main floor, as it looked beautiful from the ascending staircase. Just Beautiful! The bathroom was clean, the shower was amazing, and the water nice and hot.

The house is beautiful and a great place to stay. The neighborhood was questionable. A great value for a long term stay. House is on a cul de sac, so vehicle traffic is very minimal. Parking in front of the residence is well lit.

Sarah and Amanda were fantastic hosts! Very responsive with any questions and concerns. The private basement was clean and the kitchenette was a huge plus for me. They made the whole house feel like home, would definitly stay again!

Clean, spacious, and a big garage! Central location is handy. Mike is very quick to communicate.

Location was pbenomial. Garage was a joke. I drive a compact car and had issues parking and exiting it.

This house is exactly as advertised and even better in person, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. Mike went above and beyond in making sure that my stay was enjoyable and his generosity in allowing me to park my truck in his garage was much appreciated, you will be hard pressed to find another property with all of the amenities or for the price so don’t hesitate if you are debating whether or not to get it, you won’t be disappointed!!! And the bath/jacuzzi was very therapeutic and enjoyable as well, I will definitely be back Soon!
