Cozy apartment in Maplewood CENTRALLY LOCATED-close to downtown and everywhere you might want to go in St. Louis. Double bed, single bed, short futon, two comfy chairs, desk, microwave, fridge, hotplate, coffee maker, sink, bathroom, use of washer, dryer - detergent and softener provided. Entire house has central heat and air (vent opens into the basement), as well as wall heaters and fans. As this is a basement space (partially below ground level), the temperature stays quite comfortable.
This is a small space in a very safe, centrally located neighborhood in St. Louis - a few miles from Washington University, close to downtown, St. Louis University, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Forest Park, St. Louis Zoo, the Art Museum and so much more! There are two cats and one dog living with me so, if you have allergies, this may be an issue :) There may be doggy noise from above...we rise early.
I love living in Maplewood because it is so centrally located - 10 or 15 minutes from almost everything. This is a quiet, family area, with friendly neighbors. There is a lovely coffee shop a block away - Stone Spiral and a main street 3 blocks away. Lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and "Strange Donuts!"
  • My wife and I booked Mila’s place for an entire month as we transitioned from Bend, Oregon to St. Louis MO. We could not have dreamed of a better host and space during of first few weeks in this new city! Mila is endlessly kind, whenever we had a request or mild complaint she was quick to respond and help. Absolutely worth the value!

    Nobles2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great clean basement space in a fun neighborhood. Highly recommended.

    Paul2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Mila is a highly receptive host in an ideal neighborhood location; walking distance if not much further from seemingly everything.

  • Mila was a great host! The apt was very clean with an excellent location.

    Stacie2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Such a great place! The little touches are what really impressed me. Mila provided plenty of referrals for things to do, in the neighborhood and downtown alike. The area is very quaint and nice, right off the highway from downtown and there is a convenience store right at the end of the road for anything you might need (that Mila hasn’t already provided :) ) Overall an amazing stay, perfect for a quiet getaway!

I own an 1897 Victorian home in the Shaw Neighborhood close to the Missouri Botanical Gardens, St. Louis University and South Grand restaurants/shopping district.
This is a diverse, urban neighborhood with an active community group.
  • JoAnn is an amazing host! She is mindful and strikes a perfect balance between being available and allowing space. It is not easy to share a home with someone, but JoAnn does it with kind graciousness! Because the room is on the third floor, there are stairs-but the plus side is it is extremely quiet AND you get daily exercise 😊! I enjoyed being able to walk anywhere-to the park, the gardens, to church, for coffee or a bite. As a single woman I felt completely safe. I highly recommend JoAnn’s place!

    Eileen2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • JoAnn was amazing! Parking is just right in front of the house, location is easy to assess to many good restaurants, the famous Botanic garden, museums, highways, etc. Making life so much easier and really pleasant as I am new to St. Louis for my internship!

    Ching Lam2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place! JoAnn was an awesome host.

    Sai2019-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • The room is perfect if you need a space to stay near the city. Short drives to many different locations and the host is very helpful with directions and suggestions. The amenities are great, and you have a good amount of dedicated space in the kitchen for any supplies you might need. A word of warning though, be ready to traverse two floors of stairs often!

    Jonathon2019-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • JoAnn was the best host I ever lived with. I stayed at her place for almost 3 months. Her place is well organized and clean. She will fix any issue by her self as quickly and efficiently quicker than you expect. She will try her best to make your stay as pleasure as possible.

    Moosa2019-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • One of my best airbnb experiences. I feel at home and everything works perfectly. I've been in JoAnn's house for 3 months.

This house fronts a main street, no parking/stopping on McCausland. Please don't use the front door, come to the back door. This is a shared house, the bedrooms are private complete with deadbolts for your peace of mind, but the rest of the house is shared- if you would like to reserve the entire house please contact us or reserve all 4 rooms- the Blue Room, the Red Room, The Green Room, and the Grey Room. • He is the best house owner in Saint Louis. Best driver tutor. Very friendly.

  • John will go out of his way to ensure you have a great stay. He’s super quiet and unobtrusive, I hardly knew anyone else was living in the house for most of my stay. The house fit my needs perfectly.

    Joshua2019-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • It is one of the best Airbnb experience so far. Fantastic, kind host provided me with all the local tips, and even showed me around of ervery now an then. Convinient location, spacy, safe, and quite environment. Would definitely recommend to others, and come back to pay for another visit.

    Qiwei2019-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfotable house. Amazingly helpful. Clean. John went above and beyond to make my stay in St. Louis comfy. He even fixed a taillight on my car!

    Dylan2016-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Home is in a quiet, cozy neighborhood. John was very welcoming and courteous during my 1 month stay--took me around the city, offered coffee, and made sure I was comfortable.

    Aaron2016-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • John has been a great host for my 1-month stay in St.Louis. On my arrival he showed me around in St.Louis and we went to see Oklahoma at the Muny in Forest Park. He is really going the extra mile to be there for his guests. If you get to stay with John, you will experience great hospitality and feel at home in a foreign city immediately. Whenever there is anything needed, be sure John is eager to help you! But even if you are less of a contact guy, that is no problem as well, as there is no pressure or forced conversation. The house is in a great location and neighborhood. The kitchen got everything you need, and as John shares his groceries with his guests, you will always be able to find something. Air conditioning is alright, even though it was tough for me to get used to 72F in the house and 85+F outdoors. Bathroom is alright as well. The room I had, had a big bed and enough space to store everything I needed. The metro link is close enough to be reachable and is okay to get to different places in town, even though I would strongly recommend to use a car in St.Louis, as everything is far spread. All in all I would be glad to stay in Brentwood with John for my next trip to St.Louis. Kind regards, Nils (from Germany)

    Nils2015-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • I needed a temporary place to stay in a short notice and requested a week to week accommodation. I did not have any problem during my stay and Mr Lowe has been an engaging host.

    Eric2015-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • John was a perfect host and I couldn't have chosen to stay with a better person in St. Louis. The house is very clean and my room was comfortable with a big bed. This was the first time I tried Airbnb and John went the extra mile to make me feel at home. He offered to drop me to office the first day. He helped me in purchasing my car - drove me to many prospective sellers and even helped to get the car serviced. He knows a ton about cars. Always offered to make me a coffee every morning and always ensured there was breakfast available in the morning. He also took me out on hikes and trails. One weekend, we also went to Ozarks. I am fortunate to have found such a good host. Will definitely stay with him again next time.

Here lays a homestead "micro-farm" in a safe, quiet neighborhood in the city! I have a large garden with chickens & ducks! My home warmly holds 2 dogs & a cat! Your room is a private basement room and the bathroom is upstairs. ***My cat will find a way to visit you***, but the dogs stay on the upper floor. My space is perfect for travelers & animal/plant lovers. This space is perfect if you're not looking for a fancy room. It IS lovingly curated, clean, and a fun space to be in!
You have your own private entrance and the room is a private basement room. Keep in mind when you enter through the private entrance, you walk into the laundry room. Don't worry! Once you get passed that, your comfy, cute room will be waiting! There is a mini fridge with a jar of cold water, microwave, and cutlery already in your room. Any other cooking needs- please help yourself to my kitchen. There are animals, records, instruments, and trinkets that you are welcome to interact with. I am huge on lighting, so if you catch it at the right time, the upper-floor will be lit up nicely on some evenings. Feel free to start a fire in the fire pit, sit outside with the ducks, or relax on the front porch! Jude, the cat, loves people and loves letting you know!
My neighborhood rules. It's called Clifton Heights. Walking distance to Pint Size Bakery and Chris's Pancakes, as well as Adam's Smokehouse and two sweet dive bars- Sophie's Place and The Hideaway.
  • Wonderfully accommodating! Adorable home and her kitty is the sweetest thing! I would absolutely stay here again. Very comfortable bed, nice space down stairs with a private entrance and access to the house. The bathroom is conveniently located at the top of the steps. Very easy access and great communication! Everything you’re looking for at a great price!

  • I felt at home the moment I arrived. Lisa was friendly and welcoming. Lots of lottle personal touches. Her cat and 2 dogs were fun to hang out with and play with. Lisa's check in instructions made my arrival so easy. Would stay here again.

  • Really cool place to stay. Everywhere you look there’s a new piece of art to see. The animals are really sweet.

    Rachel2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy place and friendly animal. The location was close to main areas in a quiet neighborhood.

    Anna2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa’s place was beautiful. He cat was so nice and loved to be downstairs with us. Every room of the house has a very personal touch and a style I just adore. Don’t be afraid to come in the winter time, she has plenty of rugs to keep your feet warm and the heater down there works great. The chrome cast tv was definitely a plus, and the mine fridge and microwave were much needed. I can’t wait to come back and stay again.

  • Great little place!

    Benjamin & Sarah2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • Very stylish place! The decorations and feel of the home were awesome. Having our own entrance and area in the basement kept everything very private though I wish I had seen the host to let her know how cool the place was. If you're not a pet person (cats, dogs, ducks) then this may not be the place for you, but my fiancee and I thought it was a really cool stay.

    Brandon2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • 10/10 First off let me just say how cute this space was! If you enjoy the atmosphere of what I think feels like an artists home then this is the place for you. Lisa was so sweet and helped us with anything we needed. While we didn’t ever get the chance to met I would love to say that our other host Jude was quite the gentleman. It was a really short drive to the concert venue we went to as well as forest park. The best atmosphere, hospitality, location, and value in Stl. Will totally try to stay again.

  • The place was perfect for my husband and myself. It’s clean and location was great. Gilda was very quick to respond and offer any help as needed. The Energy in the space was good feeling. We did leave early because of the coronavirus. No fault to ours or hers.

    Michelle2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Gilda’s! It was private and easy check-in and check-out, simply communicating through the app. We would recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay.

  • A wonderful and cozy spot to relax and have a peaceful stay. The amenities included a laptop, tv with plenty to watch, lots of covers, space heater, a few toiletries, beverages, lots of good books, and several places to sit and unwind, all made the place very homey and comfortable. We found the place quiet, clean, private, and very nicely & uniquely decorated. All around a really great stay!

  • Simon’s place is awesome! It’s very chic and styled perfectly! Simon is awesome! He’s a friendly talker, and super smart. He made sure that I was having a good stay, and he accomplished it and then some. If I ever find myself in St. Louis again, I’d rebook in a heartbeat.

    Shane2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Simon was a great host, he always answered my questions super quickly and gave us great tips when we arrived, which is worth seeing. The entire apartment is decorated in a very chic style & the room is very large & spacious. The private bathroom is right next to the room and there is free parking on the property. The apartment is in a very quiet neighborhood. A self-check-in is possible at any time thanks to a code lock on the front door. Simon is very friendly, funny and humorous, we sat together one evening and had a lot of fun. The entire property was spotlessly clean, I highly recommend it.

  • Neighborhood is residential and quiet, with easy access to restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. This is a room in Jordan's house, so at first I didn't know what to expect in terms of access at odd hours and negotiation of bathroom/kitchen in the mornings. Jordan replied quickly to my inquires before the stay and was out early in the mornings so it felt like I had the place to my own! At the same time, it was fun to chat with him when he returned from work, yet unobtrusive as he had other things going on and again I often had the place to myself in the evening. Place was comfortable, clean, and stylish. Fantastic for my stay. Thanks, Jordan.

The Carriage House is a bright, fun studio located in popular Tower Grove South. It shares a large patio, garden, and trampoline with a historic home. The open floor plan and twin beds allow plenty of space for families and friends. Guests of all ages love the local artwork, plants, art supplies, books, and games the CH offers. Don't forget to have bread and coffee on us before you walk through the Morganford Business District, Tower Grove Park, and South Grand! We can't wait to host you!
ATTENTION: As of March 1 there will be a queen sized bed and a twin sized daybed. Currently there are two twin sized beds. Featured on Apartment Therapy and St. Louis Magazine! https://www.stlmag.com/design/property/10-cool-airbnbs-to-check-out/ https://www.apartmenttherapy.com/house-tour-3-roomies-share-a-colorful-st-louis-home-252355 https://www.stlmag.com/design/airbnb_1/ The kitchen is complete with a full stove/oven, fridge, sink, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and butcher block island. Local coffee and bread are in the fridge for you! Feel free to use all kitchen supplies. All we ask is that you clean up after yourselves, thanks! In the living/sleeping area, there are twin day beds that can be pushed together for couples or pushed apart for more privacy + plenty of room on the shag rug to set up sleeping bags and air mattresses to fit more guests and kids. For each day bed we provide two sleeping pillows, a throw pillow, a top and bottom sheet, and a blanket. We also provide a toddler-sized foam sofa that's great for little kiddos. Please bring your own sheets, pillows, and blankets, and towels for extra people, including kids. :) FYI The daybeds are currently on metal frames that are a bit taller than the ones pictured. One has an "extra long" twin mattress to help accommodate taller adults. Some guests have mentioned how bright the studio is due to daylight or alley lights. We love the light however you might want to bring a sleeping mask. If you're sensitive to noise, bring earplugs; the AC/heater can be loud and the crickets and birds around the garden like the sing. One more note! The building is old, industrial, and not well-insulated. Occasionally you’ll spot bugs or feel a draft. This is normal. :) Adjust the thermostat as you wish!
Our neighborhood is the best! Beautiful old homes and local businesses surround Tower Grove Park. Our home is located on a quiet block, just steps from the Morganford Business District (shops, bars, restaurants) or a longer stroll or short bike ride to South Grand. All highways and main roads are easily accessed from our neighborhood, making it simple to hop around to tourists spots.
  • Great!

    Magdalyn2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for one night of our road trip across the country and it was our favorite air bnb of the trip. The space is even nicer than it looks in photos, we loved the artsy quirkiness of the decor and the openness from the high ceilings and sources of natural light. We felt like we were kids again staying in our dream “adult clubhouse.” Communicating with Elsie was easy and check in/check out was seamless. We will definitely stay here again if we’re ever back in St. Louis.

    Katie2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Elsie was a great host. Her carriage house was really cool and eclectic, and she had coffee, bread , and jam ava I'll label in case you needed a snack. She also had a great coloring and art table setup that would be great to use for kids, or an adult who just wants to enjoy out for a bit. I enjoyed her space and would definitely stay there again!

    DeAnna2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is an awesome spot. Great location and amenities for the price. Elsie was extremely helpful and responsive. Highly recommend. Just a watch out - as others have said, the bed is actually two twin beds pushed together, but still worked fine for my partner and I.

    Chris2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The carriage house was incredible. Many people come to St.Louis and don’t know what to expect, this studio gives people a proper idea of what things are about here. it’s not always crime, or bad; St.Louis is rich in culture, history, art, etc. Elsie does an amazing job at showcasing a unique twist on St.Louis luxury. I would live in this space if I could.

    Konnar2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • This Airbnb looks like its out of a magazine. It’s complete eye candy, everywhere you look is a unique touch that makes the whole space feel so playful yet relaxing. And the space is comfy! The heating system is powerful and I felt totally cozy even with the industrial features. Would definitely stay there again!

With all the charm of a southern provincial Victorian estate in the heart of STL, this solar-powered, recently renovated 126-years-young home boasts a low carbon footprint! A spacious wrap-around veranda overlooks flowering terraces; while the interior offers abundant common space (2 kitchens, sunroom, dining, living, deck, grill). Private rooms come with personal TV, DVD, and guest accounts for Netflix, Hulu, Prime, and HBOnow. Organic raised bed garden in back. Adjacent to YMCA (with pool).
Third floor bedroom, with window AC unit for personalized climate control. Two lightly stocked kitchens. Two bathrooms with renewable bamboo toilet paper and other toiletries. Ample common space, both indoors and out. German Sheppard lives downstairs with owner. Four security cameras protecting entries.
The 'West End' neighborhood lies (you guested it) just West (and a bit North) of the 'Central West End': one of STL's trendiest and haute-est neighborhoods. Solar Urban Oasis rests just a 5 minute drive from Forest Park, one of the nations largest urban parks {well eclipsing NYC's Central Park (840ac)}, with roughly 1300ac. Forest Park houses many cultural icons of St.Louis: the expansive and FREE art museum; one of the country's last FREE zoos; one of the largest outdoor summerstocks in the Americas (The MUNY, w/FREE seats in the back); a boathouse, and Shakespeare glenne, a golfcourse, miles upon miles of trail, et cetera ad nauseam. Just a bit further West is the Delmar Loop, home of the Pageant (amongst other venues), Wash U, and international cuisine marketed toward college/concert goers. To the Southeast, you will find The Grove, on Manchester: a great option for barhopping and local acts. The North side of Forest Park is more residential and less crowded than those to the South, making commuting less troublesome. Solar Urban Oasis resides North of the Delmar Divide. At last census, the neighborhood was 85% Black, 8% White, 4% Hispanic, 3% Asian/Native American/Other. If those numbers make you uncomfortable, please consider other options. Discrimination will be met with only the minimum of civility. Openness and kindness will be matched in hospitality. Along with my son, I have been renovating, flipping, and managing houses in the St.Louis Metro area for almost 20 years; focusing on ethical development: supporting sustainability, revitalization, affordability, and battling gentrification by cultivating neglected historic properties near cultural centers. I live at this property with my 100lb German Shepard, and of all the properties I own or manage around St.Louis, there has never been any issues with safety or theft on the SUO property. I hope that continues as I open my home to you.
  • Wonderful home for a cheap stay with a great host. Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom was a super plus, and the amenity basket. Only detractor was that the home is in a slightly sketchy area.

  • It's really lucky for me to find a room in Heather's house. It's quite near to WashU and the Metrolink station, also in the walking distance to United Provisions which sells Asian foods. Heather and the roomate Beata are very nice people. And I couldn't forget the night when they invited me to their party, where they made a fire in the yard and made the baked marshmellow (amazing taste!). Heather's warm-hearted and helped me a lot during my short stay. Thank her for all these.

  • Heather's house is so charming. Great location. The subway is only at a 10 minutes walking distance, the university campus is also very close and the neighborhood is super safe. I didn't get to know Heather very well, since she was also traveling that weekend, but our interactions were super warm. I would completely recommend staying with her, whether you are visiting the university or simply touristing in the city.

    Gabriel2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • My first visit to St. Louis and didn't want to leave. So much to see and do! Heather's space is perfect to relax see the sites - very close to public transit and I rented a bike for a day. I stored some food in the fridge and the kitchen has exactly what you need. Bed comfy and shower - lovely. Used the laundry facilities, so convenient. I lucked out as Heather was available to introduce me to a couple local events making the visit so rich and engaging. Forest Park is nearby and worth a visit - it will take at least a day to enjoy the free museums and zoo! Thank you for an exceptional Airbnb experience.

This historic brick home straddles the border between Dutchtown and Tower Grove South, right off of old Route 66, and has a distinctive vintage flair. Located in the heart of South City, guests have easy access to great restaurants along South Grand Boulevard, eclectic shops on Cherokee Street's Antique Row, and beautiful natural spaces like Tower Grove Park and the Missouri Botanical Garden. If you are headed Downtown, the Arch is only 5 miles away.
I live on the border of Tower Grove South and Dutchtown. Tower Grove South is a beautiful neighborhood centered around Tower Grove Park and the dozens of restaurants along South Grand. Dutchtown is one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the city. The neighborhood was historically dominated by German immigrants but is now home to several different immigrant communities from all over the world.

  • This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed at David’s place and it was the first time I had trouble checking in using the door code. It was no problem though because I easily got a hold of him thru phone and helped me. I like that they always keep the place really clean. Definitely recommend!

  • Beautiful house. I felt like I need to come back and write a classical book in this space. Check-in was so convenient, bathroom and bedroom were sparkling clean. Will definitely stay again if back in the area.

  • David’s place was amazing! Truly appreciate all the little details: labeling everything, beautiful bathroom with great toiletries, and picking up the phone immediately when we had a question about parking. Highly recommend!

  • This was a really clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay. David was amazingly responsive and helpful, which was much appreciated. He went above and beyond what was required.

  • This was my first time staying at an Airbnb. This was a very pleasant stay. Everything was as described. The room was very clean and neat, as was the bathroom. The common areas (kitchen, dining room, and living room) were very nice with updated appliances and comfortable sitting areas. 💯 The surrounding neighborhood was awesome with restaurants, Whole Food Store, etc. All in all a very good experience! 💯 Will definitely stay again 👍🏾

Great location, well furnished, balcony, next to a famous deli, a Starbucks, four great restaurants, with many others nearby. Close to Washington University, Forest Park, Chase Park Plaza movie theater, the famous Delmar Loop & trolley, the Central West End district, Barnes Hospital, etc. Also only twenty minutes from the airport. Complimentary wine and regional snacks provided. Keurig machine and variety of pods provided. Two bicycles provided.
Well-furnished, fully appointed, friendly welcoming space. Second floor condo just near the business district, along scenic Wydown boulevard leading to Forest Park. Walking or biking distance to everything.
Wydown Forest is a prized neighborhood that is centrally located in Clayton. Located behind the corner of Hanley and Wydown, this neighborhood is tree-lined and, due to the small lots and shallow set-backs, exudes a "Vieille Ville" charm. Most of the homes were built between the mid-1920s through mid-1930s in period revival styles. The homes carry many architectural details that are often only seen in larger homes. A few of the homes were even designed by the famed St. Louis luxury architecture firm of Maritz & Young. One of the more affordable Clayton neighborhoods, sold prices range from the $300s to the mid $600s for larger, more up-to-date homes. If there were such a thing as a price-to-walkability ratio, Wydown Forest might have the best in town. Residents enjoy walking to Downtown Clayton, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Washington University, and the metro-link for quick access to BJC, Busch Stadium and St. Louis City. If you are a runner or cyclist, the neighborhood is an ideal starting point for a trip down Wydown Blvd to Forest Park, the Zoo, the Science Center, the History Museum and much, much more.
  • Fabulous location for accessing all of Clayton. Only a few steps from a Starbucks, four great restaurants and a great deli.

  • Great apartment and wonderful alternative to a hotel in Clayton/St. Louis. Clean, well located, and Jason was a great host. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Great location above a Starbucks but not much noise. Nice entertainment system and very friendly host. Lots of places to walk to so no car needed, but if you have one, good safe parking.

    Kevin2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This review comes after my sixth visit to Jason's place in as many weeks. (You can see my earlier reviews by scrolling through.) Every visit has exceeded my expectations, and Jason's place has been my home away from home on Mondays through Wednesdays. It's comfortable, cozy, and well-equipped. It is always spotless, and the linens and towels are fresh. Coffee maker? Yes. Coffee? Yes. Milk/Cream? Yes. Shampoo and conditioner? Yes. Body wash? Yes. Toothbrush if you forgot? Yes. And so on . . . My previous reviews spoke of the location, and let me emphasize that it is perfect if you have business in Clayton or at WashU. There is parking if you come in a car. If not, everything is a short walk or quick Uber ride. And restaurants are just around the corner. Even on Monday nights when most eateries close you can go to I Fratellini for a terrific Italian dinner. Prefer a latte in the am? Starbuck's is downstairs. And value? The rates are lower than other nearbly places, places that are not nearly as comfortable. Jason's place is now my go-to spot for future visits to STL. It should be yours as well.

    Ray2020-02-19T00:00:00Z

  • Jason’s home is a nice option in the Clayton area. It has a lot of charm and nice touches provided by the host, and the area is very convenient, with stress-free parking and easy access to everything in the surrounding area. Jason was very quick and helpful whenever we had any questions.

  • Wonderfully secure; keypad lock on side entrance AND your room. Walk-able neighborhood. Close to Central West End (food, shopping, public library...) Forest park is locks away. Whole Foods or Straub's for groceries and a little corner store round the corner that makes AMAZING subs! The Murphy room s by the stairs and you can hear people coming and going but it's still pleasant and pretty quiet!

    Devin2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous old home. The Murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable, the bathroom was SPOTLESS with fantastic water pressure. It is winter and the building has radiant heat so I had to open windows and put on a fan because it was very warm when I showed up. Could hear others walking around sometimes, but still felt very private.

    Mallory2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Pretty great experience, very hospitable and a nice cozy room. The bathroom was very nice, I didn’t really check out any of the other amenities of the house but it seems like a nice quiet place.

  • Talk about a great experience... I felt completely safe, the house was secure, clean, and as advertised. Extremely prompt replies on questions I had, they made my abour trip, so much easier. Being on my on this trip, I didn't feel as safe in a motel that anyone could just walk into. The home was lovely. Wish I could of seen the main floor, as it looked beautiful from the ascending staircase. Just Beautiful! The bathroom was clean, the shower was amazing, and the water nice and hot.

Cozy and bright room with window AC unit, for personalized climate control.
The greenway starts 2 blocks away and heads straight (2 miles) to the Museum in Forest Park. Delmar Loop and Central West End are 2 miles away. Within 5 miles are the Zoo, Science Center, Fabulous Fox Theatre, Mo Botanial Gardens, Tower Grove and the City Museum. The Arch is 6.5 miles away, as is the Cardinal Stadium or Soulard. Cherokee Street or the Anheuser-Busch Brewery are only 8 miles away.

This home is a mostly renovated 100 year old house. It was meant for our growing family so much attention was paid to quality finishes and our personal decor style. We got called away for a job relocation, but hope you love it as much as we do! The space is larger with many amenities for our guests, it has a queen size bed a large shared full bathroom on both the first and second floors. a full kitchen, tv room, small library, small gym, and some toys for kids. the large fenced yard is fantastic in the spring summer and fall with many fruiting trees on the property. Located minutes from the best St. Louis has to offer, it's one of the most convenient locations in the city. plenty of FREE private parking available means you can easily park your car steps from the door. Our home is your home, and we hope you enjoy your stay!

This is a one of a kind 2 bedroom shotgun home basically on top of "The Hill". Ideal location where you can walk to the italian markets, restaurants, and deli's on "The HIll". Centrally located very close to the hospitals, botanical garden, zoo, forest park, and art museum and close ride share to downtown. Private back yard with garage access. No basement access.
This is an old shotgun home that is over 100 years old and is in a great central location. Directly accross the street is location where the Columbia Theatre opened in 1926 but is now a private residence. You can see the Arch from the front of the house.
Old italian based neighborhood with great restaurants, deli's, and markets.

Mike went above and beyond in making sure that my stay was enjoyable and his generosity in allowing me to park my truck in his garage was much appreciated, you will be hard pressed to find another property with all of the amenities or for the price so don’t hesitate if you are debating whether or not to get it, you won’t be disappointed!!!
