A cozy cottage behind a lovely Victorian house. It has a 3/4 bath (shower). The cottage has a brick patio and a large trellis covered with roses and grape vines set in an English Garden. Also, see our equally nice "Victorian in the Heart of Ballard" rental: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20928
A cozy cottage behind a lovely Victorian house with separate access and a 3/4 (meaning shower but no bathtub) bathroom. The cottage has a brick patio and a large trellis on the south side covered with roses, grape vines, and wisteria and is surrounded by an English Garden. The pictures posted should give you the right idea. (Alternative accommodation: We also have a really lovely rental space in the main house. See: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20928 ) The cottage: there is a microwave, a small fridge, and an electric kettle for making coffee or tea. It offers considerable privacy if that is desired. The bed is queen-sized. Extra high-speed WiFi is also provided along with cable TV, including all of the premium channels. It is also possible to close some giant wood-paneled pocket doors if you want to divide the studio into a bedroom and sitting room, if case someone wants to sleep and someone else does not. The cottage is used as a studio by Liz (who is the English gardener) when it is not being used as a guest house. So there is a lot of (really excellent) art, mostly studies in the human form, on the walls and shelves. (If you would like a cast of one of the statues, talk to Liz.) The Ballard Neighborhood is a great place to visit: *10 minute walk to downtown Ballard with fabulous bars and restaurants, great Sunday farmers market, nice three-screen cinema, and much more. *5 minute walk to the Ballard Locks, where ships enter and exit Puget Sound from Seattle waterways. *10 minute drive to downtown Seattle. Buses also run regularly downtown from close by - either to downtown Seattle or to the University District and elsewhere. Evenings are very quiet here and the air quality is unusually good for a city. We get a fresh sea breeze off of Puget Sound in the early evening. Guests find the cottage a calming and refreshing refuge from the bustle of the city.
Ballard is a fantastic destination neighborhood for restaurants and bars and music. We are an easy walk (5-10 minutes) from downtown Ballard. Great breakfast places even closer.
  • Would highly recommend this location to anybody! The cottage is tucked away behind the house and very comfortable with beautiful art all over. Such a good deal that exceeded my expectations.

  • Quiet, cozy and inspiring place. Good access from the heart of Seattle in 30 minutes by bus. Without a kitchen, I recommend the place for a short stay.

  • A wonderful spot in Ballard, with no shortage of character.

  • We enjoyed our 3-night stay at Brad & Liz's place. It's a cute cabin, and it's fun sleeping in a space full of fabulous art. The location couldn't have been better for our event in Ballard (and for Ballard, in general). Check-in and check-out was super easy, and street parking was convenient/available.

    Nancy2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place is wonderful- great location, comfy bed, cool art all over, and Brad / Liz are amazing hosts! Thanks for the hospitality- I would definitely return!!

  • This place is a cozy artist studio behind the main house. Plenty of space for 1 or 2 people and very quiet and private. I was there for an event in Ballard so for me the location was perfect; just a few block walk.

    David2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely space! It’s essentially a spacious studio, but plenty of space. Clean, comfortable, safe, and relatively quiet. Loved the thoughtfulness off the restaurant menu book, all the different books and guided about Seattle, not the touristy stuff but just interesting finds that people have collected. The space has lots of light, heated bathroom floors, heated towel rack, and the bed is probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. I spent my days there hiking and visited Predators of the Heart (highly recommend), so it was a great space to come home to and chill.

  • Charming, quiet, price, and peaceful. Great escape.

    Michael2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Erik’s place and clean and stylish. A little studio, but feels bigger with tall ceilings, lots of windows and Erik’s thoughtful use of the space. Great location - safe, quiet, close to everything. Only issue we experienced was spotty WiFi — Erik was very responsive and helped us troubleshoot, but the WiFi was still a little unreliable with several “dead zones” in the space. Doesn’t look like this had been a major issue in the past, so might just be a glitch ran into. Not a dealbreaker - Just did some work in a local cafe instead off the Airbnb. There is a walled off garden space surrounding the Airbnb and it is beautiful, quiet and calm. Loved it! Erik was very friendly and gave us some great local tips since we are moving to the area soon. Very pleasant experience, good value for the money paid. ☺️

    Danielle2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Erik’s place was great! Very clean and welcoming. Close walking distance to cool restaurants and sights in the city. Erik was very responsive and helpful!

  • This cottage was by far greater than what I had expected! My husband and I first time to Seattle, I was obsessed with our little cottage! From the cute decorations , the little fireplace and a huge book collection! It was so quaint and cozy! The neighborhood was amazing, we took a walk every morning! Such a Perfect spot, we walked everywhere for a bit to eat of a fresh cup of coffee! Highly recommend this cottage!! Enjoyed our stay so much! Erik was a great host, so friendly and personable! He also had great recommendations for everything!

  • Having a off-road parking spot is a big deal in crowded Seattle. This cottage is a perfect spot for one or two people. The neighborhood is very quiet but you can hear airplanes flying over. I have sensitive hearing that keeps me awake so I always travel with wax air plugs this did the trick....we will stay here again

    Caroline2020-02-07T00:00:00Z

Great location, clean, comes with all the amenities you'd need and Regina and Rhys are wonderful host, providing tips on local places to check out. They didn't hesitate to make sure I had everything I needed and that my stay was excellent. 10/10...would recommend! Overall excellent value!

  • The Urban cabin was perfect. Cozy, charming with use of hot tub and yoga studio. Quiet, walkable neighbourhood with plenty of on street parking. Regina’s suggestions for things to do locally were great!! Irwin’s bakery was an awesome gathering place just a short walk from the cabin. 45th St offered lots of dining choices. Our very favourite was the Urban Saloon. Good pub food and bartender Aaron was a wealth of tourist, brewery and sushi information. Thanks Regina. We would happily stay with you again.

It was in the perfect location because it was close enough to all the places we wanted to go in Seattle but just far enough that noise and parking were never an issue. They left some great little personal touches to greet us. Will definitely be back again, thanks Bev & Grant!

  • We have been to Seattle a couple times before, and this place was by far our favorite we have stayed at! Everything about our stay was wonderful, and we loved all the attention to detail and small touches they've put into their place. We can't wait to visit again!

    Jon2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, stylish, comfortable spot in a great neighborhood. I’ll stay again if I get the chance

    Ted2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Sometimes it's just perfect to have it be just the way you'd imagined. What a lovely creation this is! We had a quick one day vacay for a birthday getaway and we loved it! Tophats off to Tipsy! (Sorry we didn't have time to sign the guest book. We are locals so maybe next time!)

    Vanessa2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • We have been curious about tiny homes for a while now, this was an awesome chance to get to try it first hand! The place is really nice and we had a lot of fun staying in it and seeing West Seattle!

    Hayden2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first experience in a tiny house and it was perfect. The attention to detail was impressive.

    Lynnette2020-02-29T00:00:00Z

Great work-from-home alternative or staycation during these challenging times! Conveniently located near the Island's village & Seattle ferry, this 200sq ft architecturally-designed, eco-friendly backyard guesthouse is the perfect getaway. Ride into town on the bikes, enjoy the hot tub, garden patio, fire-pit and High-speed wifi!
This is a 200 sq ft guesthouse located next to our main house in the backyard. It has its own bathroom and shower, and kitchenette - a coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea selection. A mini-fridge, microwave, electric tea kettle complete the kitchenette. The guesthouse is flooded with natural light and a full suite of blinds on lower windows provides complete privacy should you desire that. Like the unit, the hot water heater is small so short showers (6 mins) are recommended (unless you like them cold). If you like long showers this is probably not the place for you. If the water begins to lose heat, it only takes about 30min to recharge. We also have a pack-n-play available upon request for a baby. Just keep in mind that the space gets pretty tight when it is in there. The guesthouse does not have a TV but you'll find a delightful patio garden with a fire-pit, gas grill and hot tub to enjoy instead. And of course high-speed wifi for streaming on your device. The guesthouse is located in a quiet residential neighborhood near to our little town of Winslow and all its amenities, and close to the Bainbridge/Seattle ferry. While not in the country it has a delightful mix of deep green, moss, and natural sunlight. We think it's perfect. We might have a slight bias, but still. **Please scroll down this page (below the reviews) to read more details on our location and how to get around. NOTE: Due to the current health crisis, we’re taking extra care with our cleaning and to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.
Our Island guesthouse is just under a mile (.9), about a 15 minute walk from the Seattle ferry, a 25 minute (1 mile) walk to the quaint village of Bainbridge Island (Winslow) and only a 5 minute walk, through the back of our neighborhood, to our up-town shopping area: Ace Hardware, McDonalds, Walgreens, Safeway, Family Restaurants & of course a Starbucks. In a car or on a bike, it's all moments away. Our residential neighborhood is full of kind, working families and it's quiet. The place has a unique blend of being close in, while feeling a bit further out.
  • A great place to stay while in Bainbridge Island. Very cozy and comfortable and central to the main part of town. Ben & Deb were great hosts and friendly and warm and helpful in every way. Hope to return someday soon!

    James2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Snug, quiet cottage close to town with a really comfortable bed. Quiet residential neighborhood near ferry. East to get to. Had a good night's sleep.

    Charlie2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at this little getaway was so relaxing! The space was slightly smaller than we thought based on the pictures but was the perfect place to celebrate our 2nd anniversary! We never got to meet either of our hosts but they were so sweet and helpful in our messages back and forth! There were some minor cleaning oversights but once we mentioned something to them, they remedied that immediately! One of the chilly days we were there, my husband started a smoky little campfire and roasted some veggie dogs before we hopped into the small hot tub cocooned in bamboo to chat with each other and just look up at the beautiful, twinkling stars. The atmosphere radiated relaxation and the outdoor string lights added charm and whimsy to the backyard entertaining area. One thing to note: We realized very quickly that the water temperature in the shower could shift immediately from the Misty Mountains to Mount Doom in the Black Land of Mordor. Be careful if you’re sudsing up and singing out heart out like Anna Kendrick without a care in the world and accidentally bump the water handle. I may have burned my backside slightly before I realized what happened. Definitely take short showers to preserve the hot water of more than one person is hoping to get squeaky clean but we’re used to that at home so that wasn’t any sort of adjustment for us. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay! Even in February, there were still some things to see and do and we had wonderful hosts!

    Ember2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great backyard hideaway. Check in was a breeze and communication was on point. We really enjoyed using the hot tub. We take short showers so the lack of hot water wasn't an issue for us. Would stay again.

Our Little House is easy walking distance from some of Seattle's best coffee, restaurants, markets and retail stores. The house, formerly a garage, was completely renovated in 2013. It sits behind our main house and includes shared access to a courtyard, outdoor seating and a BBQ grill.
When Benjamin was 9, he vacationed with his family in a loft style cabin. His love of lofts grew from there. Originally built as a guest house for family and friends and used as an occasional home office, we decided to open it up to travelers who want to visit Seattle and in particular our community of Ballard. The house is 363 square feet and contains a sleeping loft accessed by a ship style ladder. Guests access the house through a separate gate at the end of our driveway, which opens into the courtyard. The house is quiet and comfortable complete with a kitchen, small fridge, living area and bathroom. The queen sized bed is new as of September 2016.
Ballard is a popular Seattle neighborhood with a rich Scandinavian heritage and history as a "sleepy fishing village." Ballard isn't sleepy anymore. Our neighborhood is hopping with retail, nightlife and great restaurants. Independent shops including two record and CD stores, an independent bookstore and many non-chain restaurants and retail stores. We have easy access to the Metro bus just one block away from our place. A 15 - 20 minute ride by car or bus puts you downtown near the WA state ferries, Pike's market, the Space Needle and Seattle Center. Golden Gardens (one of our favs) is two miles away and has a beach including views of the Olympic mountains and the Puget Sound. Our Airbnb guidebook has recommendations for many of our top places. If you are looking for something not covered in the guidebook, let us know and we will do our best to point you in the right direction.
  • Adorable space in a great location! Parking was easy. Great coffee shops near by. Ben and Alyson were very helpful.

  • A beautiful and cozy tiny home. It was perfect for our couple getaway. The location was perfect for all the tourist attractions. Everything was clean and so thought out.

    Anita2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Benjamin and Alyson’s home was the perfect weekend getaway spot. The tiny home was stylish and spacious and the neighborhood was fun and welcoming!

    Chelsea2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful stay in a great location with an awesome host. You must try the local fresh bakery a couple blocks away - yum

    Kate2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Ben and Alyson are wonderful hosts. Responsive and helpful, they thought of EVERYTHING, so many small details to make visitors feel at home in their space. The little house is GORGEOUS, stylish and immaculately clean. They did a great job covering everything a visitor may want to know in their well organized binder and when we did have a question, they answered right away. When the weather shifted, we found things we might need left for us outside the door. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and look forward to returning.

    Colleen2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • What a cool fun space. You climb up a steep stair case / ladder to a lofted bedroom. Fun for a young man like me or a young couple.

    Burke2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend! Ballard is unquote and charming area!

    Audra2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • I can’t recommend the little house enough! This place is just as lovely, clean, and cozy in real life as it looks in the photos. The bed is very comfortable and sleeps two easily. The sitting area gave us plenty of room to hang out with a friend for a late take-out dinner. The kitchen is small but has all you need. The bathroom is a little bit of an unusual arrangement (and probably best for couples/people who don’t need too much privacy), but it was a great set up and the shower water pressure was great. (Showers are short because it’s a small water heater, but that wasn’t a big deal.) The house itself is super quiet but still in a great location, with a 2 minute walk to good cafes and a 7 minute walk to the heart of Ballard. Most importantly, Ben was a fantastic host. He and his wife lent us an air mattress when we thought we might need one, and they were super easy to communicate with and very responsive and flexible. I’m definitely going to try to stay here again next time I’m in town. Highly recommend!

There is a key box next to the door where the entry key is kept. When you enter you will go up the steep stair case and at the top you have arrived. Welcome. Your space is private from ours. The door and stairs are about 24 inched wide.
Our small kitchen includes: induction hot plate, pans, micro wave, toaster oven, coffee maker, small refrigerator, nice size sink, cups, plates, glasses, silverware, kitchen towels, other utensils.
The space includes your own bath; tub & show combo, toilet & sink in bath, a small kitchen, a bedroom with a door, a living room area containing the kitchen, kitchen table and 4 chairs, futon, a closet where the vacuum and extra heater are located, an extra room with a single bed is off the kitchen area.
  • This place was small but cozy. The stairs were a little hard to climb with luggage but besides that the place is amazing. The beds were the best part! I would definitely stay here again!

Fun cozy cabin nestled near Ostrich Bay on quiet dead end street. Secluded area but very close to grocery store, dining, minutes to Silverdale and Port Orchard. 3.5 miles from Bremerton - Seattle Ferry terminal. Wonderfully decorated with whimsical coastal, western, reclaimed decor and furnishings! King memory foam beds with linen bedding! Great filtered sunlight all day keeps the cabin cool on hot days!
On dead end street near Ostrich Bay. Waterfront park about a 1/4 mile from cabin. This cabin has neighbors pretty close so if you're looking for ultimate seclusion this is not the house. Neighbors are very quiet. Can't promise the chickens won't come visit though! :)

This Bremerton charmer is in a peaceful neighborhood with an amazing view. Sit on the deck and enjoy the view of Mount Rainier, passing ferries and even the Space Needle on clear days! **Note: The property is not IN Seattle. It's in Bremerton, 1-2 hours from Seattle.** You'll have access to the entire top floor, including 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room, and a full kitchen. Located a couple minutes from the Silver City Taproom. Less than 20 minutes to the ferry and downtown Bremerton.
The house is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, but is minutes away from the freeway, Silver City Taphouse, Subway, and Dickey's Barbecue Pit.
  • When you can look out the back windows and see water and a great view, that’s what counts in a 5 night stay. They even have binoculars there if you want to see further out. Rooms were very nice, cleanliness of the place was very good.

    Darrell2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • The place was more than I expected ,super clean, comfortable and well organized. I like the little notes all over the house . The place is equipped with what I needed in a place away from home. I loved the safety feature of the door. The location is great a short drive to the ferry, if you have a car parking is available for you. Although they leave downstairs I had complete privacy did not even hear them ( I hope they did not hear us either). Ohh and the view is spectacular ( weather permitting) . I enjoyed my stay there and will definitely book it again. Thank you Rebekah!!!!!!

  • Parking and the private entrance were very nice. I didn't feel bothersome to the family's space at all or that I didn't have enough of my own space with how it is laid out. The space was cute and Amy added such nice touches of a variety of small snacks, water in the fridge, and the jar of Q-Tips in the bathroom saved my ears after showering as I'd forgotten to bring my own! I believe there were all the supplies needed, or at least some, for coffee too, but I don't like coffee so I didn't pick through any of what I saw to prepare a cup. The decor was well done and made the suite cute and homey :) The temperature on arrival was perfect, in my opinion, and we never did feel the need to adjust it but there were instructions for how to, and how to use the pellet stove, if needed. There were times we could hear noise from the main house, but it wasn't loud by any means, and I quite liked the sound of the dog's paws from upstairs. I never get to hear that sound anymore, not having a dog. Made me want to pet him/her! <3 I'm noting this as it made me cognizant of how loud things were on my end with the TV etc. as I didn't want to disturb them and think/hope we kept the noise levels low enough not to. The bathroom was very nice and what a relaxing tub!

    Mandey2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • I would just like to say the host was beyond accommodating with our needs. The Airbnb is in a great location, very quiet and spacious. Extremely clean and taken care of. The theme of the house was lovely and we'd stay again in a heart beat! :)

  • Steve and Amy were very kind hosts. Everything was as advertised, check-in was super easy, the tub and pellet stove are very cosy, and the bed comfortable. Moreover, when our travel plans got sidelined due to illness, they were very gracious in accommodating a last-minute late check-out and in offering a discount if we stayed again, even though our travel issues were in no way related to our stay at their place. I hope to have a chance at staying there again.

Le Petit Noir et Blanc is a very cozy little house that was built in the early years of World War 2. Bremerton was booming with a population over 80,000 as people came to work in the Puget Sound Navy Yard. Hardwood floors and coved ceilings add to the charm of this adorable bungalow. Jim and Patti have added a bit of European charm to remind them of their recent trip to Paris. Walk to downtown Bremerton and enjoy a wide range of restaurants or hop on the ferry to Seattle. A quiet rest.
This is old Bremerton that grew up around the Puget Sound Navy Yard. Lots of vintage homes in the area. One block south is Gregory Way with some beautiful architecture.
  • Jim and Patti have a great setup for both people that want to explore town and those who want quick access to the base. I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go and the house itself was a fantastic place to relax in between.

  • Great house with a great location. Clean, well stocked with kitchen essential. They even stocked apple juice and cheese sticks for my kids. Comfortable beds, we were able to snuggle on the couch and unwind watching movies. Had a binder with suggestions and a gift card for Oasis coffee shop. (Highly suggest Oasis Coffee Shop manned by homeless kids, and the Hi-Lo Cafe yummy!). I would definitely stay again on future visits.

    James2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in this charming home for a weekend trip to downtown Bremerton and Seattle. It is a small but uncrowded space that has been well updated without loosing its 1940s charm. Jim and Patti offered several recommendations for local locations to eat and visit and even left a gift card to a coffee shop within walking distance. Instructions for parking, check in, and using the amenities were clear and timely. The location is within walking distance of downtown Bremerton and the ferry terminal. It was perfect for two friends and could easily accommodate a small family with children.

  • Great little place to stay if you are going to be working on base! It’s also a vey convenient walk to the ferry and restaurants (we recommend Noahs Ark for quick and fun family eats and Axe and Arrow for a little nicer sit-down). Not a far drive to really any of the beautiful surrounding areas such as Bainbridge or our favorite, Poulsbo. Well within walking distance to the base or bus ride. The coffee shop staff and breakfast/coffee offerings were wonderful and it smelled really good first thing in the am. I would recommend. The host, Sam, was very responsive to my questions!

    Kimberly2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great unit and great location. Spent a couple months here and I would highly recommend it to people working in the shipyard. A 10 minute walk to downtown Bremerton. Sam is a great guy and will take care of you. Be sure to check out the coffee shop downstairs.

    Ruairí2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Right outside the gate to the shipyard and very easy to walk around Bremerton. Easy check in process with Sam, and he even had on site parking for a small fee. There is a nice little coffee shop downstairs with great breakfast items. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m in the area. Thanks again Sam!

    Chris2019-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • If you are Navy or working on Naval Base Kitsnap this is a perfect spot. It is literally next to a turnstile gate, no need to drive or fight for parking. Great little spot, close walk to downtown Bremerton.

    Jesse2019-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • awesome place to stay that was inexpensive and close to where I needed to be

    Michael2019-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • When you stay at Sam's place you can expect a very cozy home with a wonderful view and a wonderful host. Sam was very responsive and understanding of my ever changing schedule, and went out of his way to accommodate. His AirBnB is very stylish and had every amenity that I could have wanted. If you work on the shipyard you cannot find a closer place, and with the State Gate Cafe downstairs you cannot find a better place to stay especially TDY.

(Which is also available on Airbnb) Feel free to feed the koi and turtles in the pond while enjoining a steaming hot cup of coffee, check out the free ranging Belgian mini chickens or feed peanuts to the bald (sometimes) cussing parrots. We hope you enjoy your stay.

The home features a single private bedroom (with spaces out front for parking Including) with a comfy queen size bed, dresser, mirror and lamps. Travel time from Seattle: Fast ferry: 30 minutes +15 minutes to ferry. (Passenger only, No cars) Auto Ferry: 1 hour ferry +15 minutes to ferry. Driving through Tacoma: 1 hour and 30 minutes (Depending on traffic. I do have animals on the property; Chickens, Dogs and Parrots. • Cody’s place beat my expectations for an Airbnb home. It was by far the cleanest place I have stayed. I felt right at home and so welcomed. The fresh flowers waiting in the living room was such a nice touch. When I come back to Washington I know exactly where I will be staying.

    Hannah2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Cody and David are phenomenal hosts! They were super friendly and so welcoming. Their place was very clean and cozy. What we really enjoyed was how spacious the house is. Big kitchen and living room, lots of space for comfort, and an amazing array of wildlife! My girl and I will definitely be coming back. 10/10 Cody and David!

    Matt2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • This was a magnificent stay! Cody was so wonderful. He came over when my husband couldn’t figure out the volume on the tv and then gave us both a tour of his beautiful property. Cody is such a warm and caring person and the house is incredibly stocked! Water, coffee, snacks all provided. This was one of the best stays I’ve ever had!

    Jennifer2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Cody was a spectacular host. Everything about the place far exceeded our expectations. The garden is stunning to walk through, and the guest house is beautiful and inviting. We felt at home instantly. Can’t wait to stay here again!

    Christopher2019-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • A real jewel of a house and a location, and Cody was a superb and thoughtful host. My only regret was not having more time to savor the gardens and the air from the water.

    Marshall2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Staying here is like being at home, so cozy and just right ! Cody’s guest home makes you feel so welcomed ! Definitely will be back !

    Arlene2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place is honestly perfect, and Cody is such a wonderful host. Just know Cody could easily charge $200+ a night for his guest house, so I would book before he changes his mind on the price. The location is great, the pets are extremely friendly, the landscaping is exquisite, the guest house is very cozy and inviting, and all around this is the best AirBnB experience ive had.

    Paul2019-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • I had such a pleasant stay at Cody's House. Clean, relaxing, accommodating, quaint, and friendly. I did not want to leave.

  • Stay here felt like home and it was very comfortable. I enjoyed the view from the living room windows! I would definitely stay again.

    Kim2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • This was an amazing place to stay at! It's in a beautiful, woodsy location, quiet and private, but relatively close to town. The host were gracious and provided little touches, like a beautiful Christmas tree, that made the stay special!

    Angela2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful house wonder host I loved this house def a great pick!!!!

    Sherria2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • The Carriage House is wonderfully stylish with an extraordinary picture window offering a view of wooded hills in the foreground and snow capped mountains in the distance. You feel noticeably on vacation every morning you wake up and enjoy your coffee in that special space. Moreover, your hosts will likely provide more hospitality and amenities than you expect. When we arrived, a lit Christmas tree and other seasonal decorations were there to greet us, along with a gift box containing our favorite coffee and other tasty snacks. I can't imagine a more enjoyable place to stay, or nicer hosts to stay with, when traveling in the Pacific Northwest.

    Mike2019-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • This was our best air bnb experience we have ever had! Eric and Vicky went above and beyond to show us hospitality. Also, the space and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. We were so comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Be mindful of the steep and uneven driveway if you have a low riding vehicle. We highly recommend the Carriage House and would love to come back again!

  • I do not know where to begin. Our first experience with Airbnb was amazing due to Ginger. So clean and cozy! We had everything we needed. Ginger gave it a special touch by leaving homemade baked goods upon our arrival and Christmas Eve. I would have preferred a k- cup machine instead of a coffee pot. I can't express what a great place Ginger and Ken have. We stayed 2 weeks and I could not have imagined a better place!

    Jim2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • What a gem! This place was exactly what I needed for a pleasant stay while visiting family in the area. Quaint, peaceful and private. I found the studio was exceptionally clean and the charming decor was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely reserve again in the future.

    Jamie2019-12-06T00:00:00Z
  • The view from the porch was better than expected. The beach landscaping and view are really beautiful. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything is clean and inviting.

  • What are charming and cozy little studio retreat! Located in off a small and private peninsula in Bremerton, it was easy to access all of Kitsap County and now far from Seattle and Tacoma. Thanks, Ginger!

  • Loved Ginger & Ken's hideaway! More spacious than I'd anticipated, very comfortable seating area and easy to use streaming options. Great views of the water and trees. Feels quite private and secluded. Nice kitchen with everything you'll need. A comfortable, nurturing ambiance with lots of unexpected amenities.

  • We loved staying at your place! It was very cozy and just enough room for us. The pellet stove kept the house very comfortable. The way you have it decorated is perfect, very pleasing and not cluttered at all. If we come up your way again we will definitely stay at your place. The weather was perfect the whole time we were there. Thanks so much!

    Ann2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great house! Very clean and thoughtfully laid out. We couldn't figure out how to turn off the pellet stove but when we reached out to Meagan & Brooks, they responded right away to help us out.

    Tracey2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • You will love it here! I can't say enough about the location. The cottage is conveniently located to downtown Bremerton, The Naval Base, The Ferry, etc.... It was perfect for our needs! We especially enjoyed the National Anthem played with the Raising of the Flags at the neighboring Military Base each morning at sunrise. You can hear it clearly from the front porch. This cozy cottage had all of the conveniences of home supplied. The linens were freshly laundered and smelled nice. The beds were very comfy. The on premise laundry facilities were a blessing. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed immediately. Two thumbs up!

    Sam2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived at this sweet little cottage home on a cool December day. Surprisingly, we were welcomed with flowers on the counter and a fire in the pellet stove. We felt at home immediately! It was the perfect place to spend some Holiday time with our family when home (Colorado) is too far away. Thank you to Meagan & Brooks for the warm, comfy and safe place to stay.

    Carmen2019-12-29T00:00:00Z

    Lulu And Hlynur2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • What a cozy little home with character galore! Meagan and Brooks have thought of everything to make for a comfortable stay: wonderfully soft beds, a stocked kitchen with all the essentials for cooking, throw blankets and plenty of pillows, and even games and a record collection! Our family of five was quite comfortable for the two nights we spent here while we visited family in the area. We appreciated their detailed directions, both to get us there and to maximize our enjoyment of the home. We were thankful to find this gem in an unfamiliar place that didn’t seem to have a ton of great hotel options. These hosts are also very good communicators and are quite helpful with their responses!

  • Very nice quiet relaxing weekend at Grams cottage. With plenty of room and cutely decorated. 👍😎

    Karen2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful stay. The charming little cabin was super clean and welcoming. Very cozy and you can beat the view and location. In fact, a family of seals were playing right in front of the house and was such a treat to watch. The one thing I would suggest is to supply your own creamer and sugar if you like that with your coffee. We will be back.

    Shelby2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the house so much! It was perfect for what we needed and you can't beat being right on the water! It is an older house, but with so much character. We had an issue with the router not working (last person who stayed here unplugged it) and they were quick to respond with help! Highly recommend this place!

    Amy2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is our favorite holiday stay. It is such a welcoming and serene home. The hosts take great care and do the little things that mean so much to guests. They are great with communication and very responsive. The view cannot be beat! My favorite activity there is to just sit on the porch and watch the sea and wildlife. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway (by yourself or with a partner), this is the right place for you!

    Christi2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful stay! You can have morning coffee on the porch and watch sea lions and shore birds. Very quiet and cute neighborhood, walking distance to a nice cafe. We loved meeting Minnie the cat (who stayed only outside) who came to visit from a few houses down. Heating and everything else worked well.

    Veronika2019-12-10T00:00:00Z

Sleep under the stars in our farm green house. A unique experience awaits you when you visit our farm. You will be able to engage with goats, alpaca, chickens, turkeys, ducks, dogs and barn kitties. The Farmer's Market is right here. Enjoy Barker Creek and the sounds of nature. When you have had your fill of the farm, visit downtown Poulsbo "Little Norway." Poulsbo is filled with one of kind shops and dining options on beautiful Liberty Bay.
The Greenhouse is a wonderful place to stay the night under a blanket of stars or enjoy the sounds of rain on a glass roof top. While there is no heat in this building, we have a heated mattress pad and comforters for you to snuggle up under. The greenhouse is located in our lower field and 300' from the main house for added privacy at night, although it is a glass house. If you are looking for a fun get away, this is it. We may be working during the day so if you are looking for a place to sleep-in, we would not recommend our greenhouse. We will not start any noisy machinery until after 8am. There is a short walk to a nearby porta-potty.
This is a rural residential neighborhood. You will be driving through equestrian property to get to our farm, PLEASE DRIVE SLOW. We are on a dead end for extra privacy.

Welcome to our home! Staying with us is a mix of visiting with locals and meeting travelers. This room is a good budget option for those wanting to stay in a walkable area. This is also a good option for people new to the area.
Hello! Our house is a couple blocks off broadway in the northern section of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The room is one of five bedrooms in our house. You will be staying with roommates as well as other airbnb guests. We have a cozy kitchen, bathroom and living room with lots of light! You can do laundry downstairs ($1 wash / $1 dry), and hang out in our lovely living room. Our house is the tall, dark and handsome type, height / weight proportionate, with a red brick exterior (if you're into that sort of thing). Good to know we are an older home, not a hotel so the aesthetics come with the territory. We're two blocks from Broadway, with a stupid amount of cool shit and buses within walking distance. You can get to the Pike/Pine nightlife in a short 10-minute walk. Broadway has transformed from its grungy gutter-punk needles-and-heroin 90s roots. Maklemore filmed a music video here last night. Sir Mix-A-Lot wrote "My Posse's on Broadway" about it. Pearl Jam came up with their name at B&O Espresso just down the block (RIP B&O – now moved to Ballard). We also live right by the library, and we've even been there a few times. The room is best suited for 1 person. As we have multiple listings in this house as well as roommates and one bathroom we limit the overall number of guests in the house to 5 at one time. Due to this, this room is able to accommodate one person. Be aware that our house is older, and feels very lived-in. The paint and furniture have blemishes, our carpets have stains that won't quit and our tile floor looks like it needs a mopping even after a vigorous cleaning. We deep clean the house a couple times a week and do daily light cleaning. While our house shows it age, it will always be cleaned up and ready for guests! We appreciate our house for the location and the people. Our neighborhood can be challenging to park in and only street parking is available. You'll be staying with two of us and a few other airbnb guests: Leah, 34: Leah has lived in the house for 4 years. Leah is a Midwest transplant who grew up in Michigan and spent a few years in Chicago before relocating to Seattle. Living with Leah is like summer camp. Her favorite moments in life are (1) when the power goes out (camping time!), (2) summer barbecues, and (3) when everyone wants to have a dance party. She's really good at people. Leah has several part time jobs that range from working as an ABA therapy assistant (therapy for youth with Autism), staff in a young adult shelter, Residential Advisor for High School International students in a dorm setting and driving with Lyft. Leah likes to keep busy and is often out of the house. You are most likely to see her around if you are at the house during late morning/early afternoon or get a ride from her! Guests can contact her directly via text to schedule rides depending on her availability. Andrew, 32: Andrew is new to the apartment as of Jan 2017. Andrew hails from Florida and has previously worked with homeless youth and young adults in Seattle area. Andrew works with International students in a dorm setting in the neighborhood. He also drives with Lyft and is aiming to head back to school to study nursing in spring 2017. He has a place in his heart for a well crafted computer game (including story line, coding and graphics) and has a series of mods for his favorite games he has created. Andrew also likes to lift weights to stay fit and gets really pumped when he gets new personal best when doing squats. Come stay with us awhile and enjoy the area!
  • This was my second month here; absolutely incredible value for the price especially! Perfect location, personal touches, and an overall great place for long-term or short-term stays in Seattle.

New to Airbnb, the Manette Beach House has just undergone an extensive renovation, and is ready for your next trip. It's located within walking distance of quaint downtown area of Manette, with it's restaurants, the famous Sabatour bakery, and shopping. Take the ferry from Seattle to Bremerton, and the house is only 1.5 miles away (5 min drive, 1/2 hr walk). We took great care in building out the space to clean, comfortable and luxurious.
The house sits right on the beach, at high tide it feels like you are on a boat. Watch the boat traffic go by, including ferries, navy ships, and sailboats races. There is always wildlife flying or swimming around outside, from Bald Eagles and Herons, to Fish and Sea Lions (and occasional Whales). We've made sure that the house is top quality from the bedding to the kitchen utensils. Enjoy cooking in the well appointed kitchen with gas stove and grilling on the beach front patio.
  • My fourth visit here I think. Great as always. In addition to the ferries and seals I got to see the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier go by out the window this trip.

  • Beautiful location and a beautiful home! We really enjoyed our stay.

    Rainier2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The view from the beach house’s massive windows is mesmerizing. It is a delightful place to stay while we visit my daughter and her family.

    Casey2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This charming little house is right on the water. Loved sitting and watching boats and ferries go by. Really quiet neighborhood. I could listen to the waves as I went to sleep.

  • Can't recommend this place enough

    John2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place to experience the Sound. Sitting at the dining table each morning watching the sun come up, seals playing, flocks of birds skimming the water, the ferries going by like clockwork, all while sipping coffee. Place was clean and comfortable, hosts were great, but you are really coming here to see the water and the life surrounding it, seemingly just a few feet from your windows.

    Shawn2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • It feels like you are on a riverboat cruise, surrounded by water. Extremely clean and comfortable - especially the bed! Perfect location, most enjoyable stay.

    Jeanne2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • My third stay here, and it's my favorite place. I love sitting and watching the wildlife and ferries go by. Sometimes I make a fire in the outdoor fire pit.

Our guest house is nestled between towering trees by the salty waters of Dyes Inlet in Bremerton. Follow one of the winding paths through cottage gardens to the waters of Ostrich Bay where you can watch boats, seals and birds. Our 1/2 acre waterfront property faces west with beautiful views of the bay and the Olympic mountains. The guest house is located behind our house and is a luxurious, clean and relaxing space filled with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Ten minutes to the ferry.
The guest house has an open floor plan. The full kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, granite countertops and is completely stocked with all the essentials you need. The sofa converts to a bed with a nice twin mattress in the living room. A second twin mattress is available to go on the floor to accommodate a fourth person. Works well for two adults and two children. The private bedroom has a comfortable queen size mattress with a large closet and a desk to work at. There is free wifi, a separate laundry room and an outdoor eating area with a gas barbecue. Beach access.
Our property is located on Marine Drive- a peninsula with waterfront homes on both sides of the road. It is a very peaceful, beautiful and friendly neighborhood. Restaurants and a grocery store are minutes away.
  • Janelle and Kasey were amazing hosts! Very thoughtful, excellent communication, super accommodating.. from the very first day to the last day. They made my trip awesome! I highly recommend booking with them! Every morning I was able to make a cup of coffee and go enjoy it to the beautiful view from their patio and it was just AMAZING. Thank you to the both of you and if I ever come back out to Brem I know where I’ll be staying!

  • Enjoyed our quick stay! Met all our needs as a small family and there were some lovely extra touches.

  • The bungalow was so much more than my daughter and I expected. The place was so cute, clean and had everything we could have wanted for our stay. I now know why the hosts are called super hosts...they made our stay absolutely perfect with their attention to detail and thoughtfulness. My daughter and I were able to walk to the beach and collect shells, look at all the wildlife and completely relax. What a wonderful experience!

  • We have the most amazing stay here! It was the cutest home with everything we needed. Extremely spotless and comfortable. We walked down to the private beach area and it was magical. Everything was perfect! My girls loved playing with her dog Tommy who might be the cutest dog of all time! Thank you Janelle for the perfect stay. We will be back!! ❤️

  • This sweet little house is in a lovely wooded neighborhood and has a trail down to the beach. It is spotlessly clean and very pretty inside. There is a complete, beautiful kitchen with tea, cocoa , wine, fruit, yogurt, and granola waiting for you. And flowers, lots of appealing art on the walls, and books to read, games to play. There is a deep bathtub with a great shower. And, there is an adorable boisterous rather big dog who loves to play ball - a lot.

We are located in downtown Port Orchard Washington. Port Orchard has a small old town section with restaurants and bars. We have a nice walkable waterfront with lots of boats and parks. You can catch a historic wooden foot ferry boat to Bremerton and then another larger ferry to downtown Seattle. All of this with minimal walking. You can bring a bike and ride out to Manchester State Park, the city of Manchester or hang out downtown and do some serious antique shopping.
Our home is an older cottage with lots of character and wood! We have an outdoor fire pit and bbq available. Depending on the season, we have berries, lots of flowers in the yard and even some vegetables.
We are located in a quiet family neighborhood of older turn of the century homes. We have the shipyard right across the water and if you are lucky, you might get to see a carrier go in or out. Sometimes subs go by as well and there is always the Washington state ferry and the smaller foot ferry to Bremerton. The tall ships come here a few times a year as well as the Chris Craft club. We have several festivals that are just a few blocks from the house. Spring, fall and summer are lovely and there is always something to do. Winters can be more challenging but one of the best things to do is catch the big ferry to Seattle in the middle of a windstorm. when you get off in Seattle, there are several restaurants where you can enjoy hot clam chowder. Our favorite is the Ivar's seafood bar. A beautiful place to go in any weather is Anderson Point Park. I have never ran into more then one other family at this gorgeous secluded beach. We can even lend you beach blanket and thermos for cocoa.
  • I stayed just over 2 months as I looked for my new home. Denise was amazing and she is kind. The house is spotless and I fell in love 💕 with her dog Lobo🐾She’s is. 5 minute walk to Bay Street and the foot ferry. I highly recommend!

  • Denise is a lovely, kind, and gracious host. The home is super cute and the decor is perfect. I love the smells from the kitchen and her killer brownies. I stayed 2 months and every day her home is inviting. I could not have asked for more💕 Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

    Sharon2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Denise's home stay is simply phenomenal. Not only did she supply breakfast on the morning of a marathon I had signed up to run, but her home was clean and easy to find. She was super helpful and quick to respond, and had a wonderful cat that loved to love. 10 out of 10 would reccomend to a friend :)

    Kassidy2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • At Denise's place, you'll arrive to friendly welcome of a local, who can give advice, directions and history ~ and is more than prepared for your arrival... the room was thoughtfully decorated, clean and comfortable. And you won't need to carry your suitcase far - up four steps into the house, down a short hall and voila! Denise helped me get my bearings, had recommendations for walking to town and shared a bit of history about both Port Orchard and her home, which was fun. She also had water in the room and coffee or tea was available whenever I wanted, in addition to a light breakfast!

    Patricia2019-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • Close to downtown Port Orchard and in a wonderful little neighbourhood that is great for a quick stroll. Almost everything I needed was in walking distance. Denise is a wonderful host! She gave me great tips about what to do and where to go. I felt very welcomed in by her and the town.

  • Jeffery is a great super host & offers a great physical space. But beyond that, he genuinely cares about his guests & their needs. Thanks for the the human connection.

    Edie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Nice quiet room you don’t have to interact with the rest of the home. Steam shower was AMAZING and the coffee & kitchen accessories were a nice touch. Exactly what you need for a temporary stay.

    Jeffrey2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Have stayed here before & it's a quiet, centrally located space for me. The steam shower is great. Jeffery checked on me daily with the heavy snows, much appreciated.

  • Great place to visit Bremerton, has a grill did have time but would been good eat and chill and relax

    Tony2019-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • Very good host, I had a rough day and came several hours after my check in time and he said it was no problem and showed me to my room and it was very cozy but not to little just perfect, felt like I was staying in a cabin. He wasn't loud at all upstairs and didn't disrupt me or anyting because he knew I needed to study. He even went out of his way and printed out some stuff for me which was awesome. Bed is comfortable. I like the privacy there is a door with a chain lock on your side and a chair in front of it so you can feel safe someone not barging in as well as two locks on the main entry door. You have your own bathroom that has a steam shower if you want to relax or you can just have a regular shower, shampoo if you forget and body wash, even television like not just a couple of channels and Wi-Fi worked great. This was my first experience using Airbnb and it was a great first experience.

In the heart of Manette situated above a Salon is this fun, fabulously decorated, contemporary Cape Cod style house with breathtaking views! The colorful, upbeat decor will make you cheerful even during the gray days of Washington. Less than a mile from the Seattle Ferry and in walking distance to wonderful restaurants and shops, Manette is the perfect little escape from the city. A nice quiet place to stay with access to downtown Seattle via a 60 minute ferry ride.
Full kitchen with top of the line appliances, stairs to the bathroom and bedroom, a fun "round" bed about the size of a queen. Air conditioned bedroom makes for a very comfortable sleep on hot days!
Manette is a quaint little town within the city of Bremerton. There are bars, shops, and dining within a short walk from the house.
  • This was my second visit to Terry's place, and I went back because it's such a beautiful, welcoming space. Even on the rainiest Seattle winter day, you get a lot of natural light in this apartment. I'm a writer and needed a quiet place to write for a few days, and Terry's place was perfect for a retreat. Huge desk for writing and a gorgeous kitchen to cook in when I needed a break from writing. And the shower. If you love water pressure, this place is for you.

    Therese2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect setup for an extended stay that included working from the airbnb. Quick walk over the Manette bridge to get to downtown Bremerton. Typically very quiet, except for a few times in the evening because it's a popular spot for people to park their cars, but always quiet when it was time to sleep. There are plenty of restaurants and bars that are walk-able but the hours, at least in the winter, were not great, luckily there's a huge fridge and full kitchen in the airbnb for the Sundays-Tuesdays when things are closed, or in the evening to make all your meals. Really loved my stay, can't wait to visit again.

  • Amazing house with amazing view!

    Yufei2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • It's a fabulous place! Like others said, it looks exactly like the pictures showed. The location is excellent. Great restaurants and bakery all within 5min walking distance. Only thing to keep in mind is that the entrance is located on the second floor, so you will need to carry your luggage.

    Lingyi2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome, stylish space with a great view. Terry was super quick to respond to my request to extend a few days.

    Paul2019-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • Sparkling clean, extremely stylish and well appointed home perfectly located in interesting Manette, with the fabulous Sabotur bakery right across the street and the Bremerton ferry terminal just a 15 minute walk away.

    Craig2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place with an amazing view! Lots of things to do and visit. Near the ferry terminal and restaurants. You will not be disappointed.
