The "chicken house"

The chicken house is located in the middle of the beautiful permagar, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhupten. Gabi and Guido live here their dream of independence and want to expand the farm in a sustainable and tedious way. For example, the walls and ceiling of the chicken house have been made from the more than 200-year-old floorboards of the main house. Our accommodation is a large, well equipped attic apartment. In addition to a cozy bedroom, there is a living and dining room with a sofa bed for 2 people, a reading corner, a modern bathroom and a kitchen. From the bedroom there are great views of the Altshausen Castle. The location is central (various Shops, bakeries and restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance) and yet quiet. You are welcome to use the garden. You can walk to a beautiful swimming lake in 10 minutes.

Shops are in Oberessendorf, Eberhardzell, Bad Waldsee,.... Unfortunately, there are no Shopping and Restaurants in Mühlhausen. The Adelindis thermal spa can be reached in Bad Buchau, 5 km away, while other thermal baths are within 25 km. The summer cottage is not suitable for children under 4 years and not for people with disabilities, as the sleeping compartment can only be reached via the steep ladder.
