Come stay on our farm! The guesthouse is well appointed with a full kitchen, laundry room, two bedrooms, and a dining area. Our farm has hiking trails through the woods, and is a beautiful place to escape city life. This serene setting is just 5 minutes from Cossayuna Lake, which offers ice fishing in the winter, and plenty of boating opportunities in the summer. We are 30 minutes from downtown Saratoga Springs, 40 minutes from Lake George, and an hour from Bennington, VT.
While we are not pet friendly, we recommend Argyle Pet Lodge for local dog and cat boarding.
  • Very rural location Beautiful property and cabin

  • Liz has a great space! It is the perfect get away. We arrived late due to a snow storm and they helped us when we got stuck in the snow. They are helpful hosts and I would stay there again.

    Edwin2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Liz‘a place is great! We’ve stayed several time and each time there are new touches that make the place better than the last! We’ll definitely stay again next time we’re in the area!

    Megan2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriend and I had a great stay on Liz’s beautiful property. The place was clean, neat, and perfectly located close to an event we had tickets to. Although we didn’t get to meet Liz in person, she was a pleasure over messaging and communication was clear and timely. We were however, greeted by her sweet horse as we arrived. Would definitely stay here again and recommend!

  • This place is gem to stay and it’s really best place to get out of the city hustles. Really loved the cute little goat. The house was all set for us and it was really clean, it had all the fruits and food that was needed already in refrigerator which I never expected.

    Vinutha2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet, clean, and comfortable. Our boys enjoyed meeting the goats! Would definitely stay again.

  • Liz’s place is great! Definitely nice and quiet, peaceful, and lovely to be right on a farm where you can see some adorable animals right from the screened in porch!

Three Pines Lake House is a cottage on tranquil Cossayuna Lake in upstate New York's Saratoga/Lake George region. You'll love it here!
Three Pines is on a secluded gravel road - far away from road noise. Unwind and relax in adirondack chairs by the water or have morning coffee on the deck. There's high speed wifi and a 4K television if you are in the mood for entertainment.
Three major destinations are quite close: Saratoga Springs (35 min), Lake George (45 min), and Manchester, Vt (50 min). Close by (depending on the season) are: - Maple Syrup Farms - Berry Picking - Apple Picking - Breweries - Vegetable Stands
  • We loved Luke and Joy’s place so much this is our second stay! Great spot on the lake, a beautiful house, thoughtful amenities for guests, and very clean. It’s great for a relaxing getaway.

    Courtney2019-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • Luke and Joy will immediately make you feel right at home. When we entered the home there was a personalized note welcoming us in and small welcoming touches throughout the space. Luke and Joy were very communicative throughout our stay if we needed anything and made us feel very comfortable. The home is very cozy and clean. If you plan to cook (which we did for every meal) you won't have an issue navigating the kitchen at all. The kitchen and bathroom are stocked like a hotel room, and you'll have everything you need (save for personal toiletries like toothpaste and such) but there is soap and shampoo if needed and dishwashing soap and plenty of towels. This space could easily fit a family of four or five or a pair of couples. We knew we chose the right place when our anxious pup settled in right away. The lake is right outside and it is a gorgeous view. We had the quiet get away we needed and would go back! Thank you Luke and Joy!

    Adrienne2019-11-07T00:00:00Z
  • This Airbnb is PERFECT. Every little touch was thought of in this house: small notes, extra electronic chargers, ease if use and access. Luke and Joy were patient with our communication during a hectic visit with family, with late arrivals and early departures. The home was immaculately clean, and easy to use. It was simple to be there, and very relaxing. This is truly how Airbnbs are meant to be, and we were honored to be able to stay here! Thanks so much, Luke and Joy!

    Crystal2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • This place is absolutely beautiful in a peaceful area. It’s super clean and they are very responsive and accommodating. The view is to die for, definitely recommend this house and would love to return! Thanks for sharing your amazing house with us!! 😊

    Heather2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • 3 Pines Lake house is an amazing get-away in a superb location and is impeccably clean. It is furnished and stocked like home and you are guaranteed to enjoy every minute of your time there. Every question you have is answered and the lay out is intuitive. You are also very close to Vermont to see the lovely vistas there. For the area, you can not do any better.

    Levi2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing stay. The home is set up very well. Luke & Joy go above and beyond for the guest experience. Zero complaints. The pictures are great, and the place is too. Would definitely return.

Beautiful Vermont and the Adirondacks are within a reasonable driving distance, and so many other beautiful places! There is a fairly decent signal for at verizon cell service, but varies. I do have internet up at my yurt, if needed, walk up. NOTE: The tiny house is off-grid, please bring ice for cooler. ****COOL WEATHER NOTES**** This is a very rustic dwelling...Please bring warmer clothes, slippers, boots, as it can get cool, especially in the evenings. On a Sunny day, the cabin fills with warm sunlight...perfect spot to get all cozy, with blankets, in front of the wood fire. ***Using a wood stove. It could help if you looked up using wood stoves, to familiarize yourself with the process, also I will show you how to use it. *****PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING IN WINTER: Cabins can get chilly in the coldest of temps...please consider not booking if you are not prepared to deal with a rustic, minimally insulated, rustic dwelling in the winter!! Please check forecast...I do not control the weather, so please book accordingly. Guest access **The bathroom is a rustic, basic indoor compost toilet. *** The outdoor shower is not in use during late fall throughout winter. You can either wash up the old fashioned way (Basin, and heat up water), all essentials provided, natural shampoos, soaps, but do appreciate your bringing your own towels if possible. *** Please read through the house rules. NOTE: The shower is a shared area with the other rentals on the property, or you can take a bucket style bath! Enjoy the "back to nature" simplicity! I do have a garden hose as well... *** Cooler weather notes: Tiny house is insulated, but being a rustic camp, it is not like staying in a house...you need to tend to the fire in the wood stove to keep the warmth, and when the temps dip, the tiny house is for the more adventurous, who are looking for an experience to a simpler way of living... Please bring warm, weather appropriate clothes and boots/shoes. Interaction with guests I just love meeting all of the wonderful guests that I have been fortunate to share my tranquil, and lovely spot with! If I am around, I would be more than happy to answer any questions, or give you ideas, and directions to places of interest. Perhaps we can even share in a nice glass of wine! I do live on the property in a yurt as well. I am usually always accessible via text, or phone. * I totally respect my guests privacy, and need for their "alone" time. Please understand that I do wander through the property, tending to my gardens, etc, but will only socialize with guests, if they so desire! Other things to note **A recent inquiry has inspired me to note: All walks of life, sexual orientation, and gender identities are warmly welcome and invited to stay, share, and enjoy this property... So yes, I am LGBT friendly, and so is my 5.25 acre property that you can freely enjoy, individually, or as a couple * I live in a yurt on the property, as well as a few other cabin rentals...the property is over 5 acres, so each cabin has it's own private areas. when parking, and walking to and from back cabin, please be mindful of other guests privacy and desire for a peaceful respite, as you walk past their cabin to yours... ** I do have 7 friendly cats that wander the property, and have been in the cabin (in case of allergies), also I have two wandering Guinea Fowl (the clowns)!...that roost in the trees by my other cabin ( they are quite amusing but can be loud at times, they call them the farmer's watchdogs! Also, please don't be alarmed by the presence of flying or crawling pests, it is a rustic dwelling on a rural country property! (please know that field mice are a part of country living, there is no guarantee you will never spot one...harmless, but rural life is all about co-habitating with nature. ** I have a pull cart for your use, if needed, to carry your supplies from your car to the cabins. ** In the summer, there are plenty of fresh herbs, and mint everywhere for your use. In season, berries as well! ***A note about sunscreen. There has been much in the news about the dangerous chemicals for humans as well as the environment/sea/water source. Would be wonderful if you can use natural sunscreen, or none perhaps, if you plan on using the outdoor shower (again, it drains to the ground, near a stream) Thanks so much for accommodating my desire to keep my property as pristine and natural as possible! As well as providing a safe habitat for wildlife, bees, etc.
My neighborhood is a quiet rural spot on a country dirt road with great, but barely ever seen neighbors. Out here everyone is busy tending to their property, be it farm animals, gardening, or just doing all the chores that are required living a rural life! If you listen you can hear the horse whinny at the landowner next door, or the sheep herd (baaa) in the back of the land! The area is teaming with wildlife. At night, the abundance of stars against the dark night sky, will amaze you! Fireflies magically illuminate the summer nights! And when it's the frogs mating season, which are abundant along the ponds edge, their chorus will sing you to sleep! Great sunsets as well! I love where I live, when there is something needed the neighbors are always ready and willing to lend a hand! And when we can we get together for some socializing, we all catch up on each others lives. Out here we respect each others privacy, but think nothing of walking up to each others door and saying hello, or asking for a hand.
  • This is mine and my wife’s second stay at one of Victoria’s rentals. It was just as incredible as our first visit. Victoria greeted us, guided us along the path to the tiny house and showed us some helpful details about the place. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable during our visit. Can not recommend her places enough if you like off-the-grid, woodsy vibes. Can’t wait to get back for a 3rd time.

  • My boyfriend and I stayed here for three days, in the range of 10-20 degree weather with a nice little snow storm. It was a bit cold at times, but we did not mind one bit because of how cozy and beautiful this place was. The wood stove did a good job at keeping us warm, and we enjoyed being bundled up in all the blankets and having a lazy weekend. This tiny home is absolutely adorable and we were very sad to leave. If you are looking for a relaxing, yet remote location to spend some time this place is great. We did a little exploring and the area is beautiful. Victoria is an amazing and accommodating host. Our favorite part was how quiet and peaceful the area was. We were able to escape for a little bit and it was extremely enjoyable. Highly recommend, especially if you enjoy cooking, maintaining a fire, taking a break from electronics, and spending quality time with a loved one.

    Gillian2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Victoria was a lovely host, very communicative and accommodating to all our needs and responded very quickly, not to mention her property is amazing! The tiny house was a slice of perfection. It had everything we needed and more! We stayed warm by the fire (it can get chilly, so wear layers during winter), and it was so lovely to have this time to disconnect, relax, read and cook. I'll be back for sure.

  • This is absolutely something different, I’ve travel around the world... this two day gateway at this tiny/tree house is a must. No luxury,no connection to the outside world !! Great for a different type of connection with your love one.❤️

    Jaiver2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriend and I felt like we were in wonderland all weekend and Victoria was a warm, helpful, generous host. She had started the fire for us before we got there and even let us forage her garden for salad greens.

    Aaron2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Cute little tiny house and property

    Emma2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • I loved staying in Victoria’s tiny house! I needed a private low key spot to do some soul searching and this place ticked every box. It was simple but there was attention to detail with how awesome it was decorated to provided organic coffee and tea! Victoria is an amazing human and I enjoyed talking with her.. she provides all the privacy you need but is also readily available for any needs or questions. This tiny house is a must for anyone needing some solo quiet time or a romantic getaway.. check this place out! Thank you Victoria, I’ll be back one day!

    Sofia2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • The tiny house/cabin was a delight... charming, clean and private. If you want a respite from big city living, this is perfect! Victoria is a fabulous host, very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Her cabins are all well situated on the property to ensure privacy and lovely views. I’ll definitely be back to stay at one of the other ones!

Cozy lakefront cottage. Enjoy beautiful views from the deck. There is a dock and paddle boat for lake access. Great fishing right off the dock! The large yard has plenty of room for activities and there is a firepit near the lake for evening s'mores. The cottage is only 30-40 minutes from Manchester VT, Saratoga Springs, and Lake George. Although we offer many comforts of home, please keep in mind this is a seasonal cottage and not a plush hotel.
  • Aaron is a great host and the place is very cute.

    Helen2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Very beautiful location. We couldn't stop taking pictures of the awesome lake! Caught plenty of fish. Very enjoyable, peaceful and serene.

    Ronald2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • If your looking for a trusted host and beautiful scenery without walking far; this is the spot. Fishing, s'mores by the fire, paddle boat across the lake, and grilling. Exactly what we were looking for. Basic amenities. In between camping and a hotel.

    Deidra2019-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, quiet and WONDERFUL!! My grandchildren adored our stay. The lake was the high point and they spent a lot of time swimming. The cottage was clean and exactly as described. We plan to go again next year.

    Eileen2019-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Aaron's cabin is peaceful, with a beautiful sunroom. It is tiny and has just enough emenities to be comfortable and cook. So, it really encourages you to enjoy nature and connect to the people you are with. The backyard firepit and available paddle boat are also really nice touches. Aaron is incredibly responsive in case you have any trouble. He helped us out in getting the well water pump restarted after briefly losing power during a severe thunderstorm. Just an fyi, the lake has very thick vegetation, which makes it less ideal for swimming than we had imagined. But, it's beautiful to look at and fun to boat in. The location also puts you within in an hour of a lot of different things, like Lake George and Equinox Mountain in Vermont. All in all, Aaron's cabin is a great value and I would definitely consider coming back with my family or friends.

    Dominique2019-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • My family truly enjoyed this cozy cottage and it’s location on the lake. My husband & son did a lot of fishing and were very successful! The cottage is serene and peaceful, but also not far from more tourist areas if you need a change of pace, like Lake George or Saratoga Springs. We really had a fantastic week!!

    Kelly2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great view from the back porch looking over the lake. The fishing was also good for my son and I.

    John2019-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Aaron’s place was clean and as it appears in photos, a great low key place to get away. We saw lots of wildlife during our stay on the lake.

  • This house is so special! There were 7 of us staying at the house comfortably and we easily could have fit more. It's on a secluded lake and has everything you could ever need. Well equipped kitchen and outdoor grill, fire pit, deck and dock, lake toys, the list goes on. On top of that, the host we interacted with, Mardi was an absolute pleasure! From the moment we got there, Mardi was attentive yet let us do our thing. She was so generous and kind which made the weekend that much better. 10/10 experience.- will be back for sure :)

    Caitlin2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back ! Gary, Mardi and Mike are very responsive and friendly. They allowed us to stay longer after check out so we could enjoy the great weather. We used their kayak on the lake and it was perfect. The house is beautiful and spacious. However there are only 3 real beds and the couch and the camp bed we found were not comfortable. So if you plan to be 8 adults, 2 may have bad nights. Also there were no curtains downstairs or any ways to block the day light. All the rest was perfect.

    Nicolas2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • We loved your home. Gary, Mardi and Mike were so wonderful and responsive to our questions. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy it. Everything was clean and bright. My son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed using the kayaks. We had fun cooking our meals in together and just looking out at the view. The house was beautifully designed. Thanks, again!

  • We had a great time at the Little Dipper cabin and we can't wait to go back both in winter time and in the summer! Cabin was clean and Pete was always available to help! He even had the wood fire going for us when we arrived. It was so much fun to try out his snowshoes and also to check out his guitar and other nifty music gadgets! Thanks so much Pete. Can't wait to have another vacation at the Little Dipper cabin :-)

  • What a wonderful spot! Funky and fun. This is off the beaten path, tiny home enthusiasts encouraged to check it out! Thoughtful touches, many walks nearby to enjoy, host is friendly and welcoming. Chickens, ducks and a perfect pup made our stay a great one!

    Jasmine2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great place with very thoughtful touches — inviting atmosphere, positive vibes, and the invitation to play the piano and other instruments is great. Pete is a great host who clearly cares about guests and his property. Very relaxing stay. Thanks!

  • Being a local to the area this little cottage was exactly what I was looking for, a unique get away for new years. Pete was a great host and truly believes in sustainable agriculture and living, which I valued a lot. I would highly recommend and and interested in coming back in the summer!

  • Pete's place is great - cozy and cute little cabin.

  • Had a great stay at the little dipper, is perfect for a weekend stay. Nestled in between lake george and Saratoga I was able to enjoy both areas as they were a short drive away. The cabin had nice home touches and a unique style. We particularly enjoyed the wood burning stove and Sauna. Pete was a great host who is very easy to communicate with and offers great tips on where to go and where to eat if you need suggestions.

  • Rick and Mary are amazing hosts and go the extra mile to make your stay awesome. Rick is a great cook and made us amazing breakfast every day and Mary is a skilled carver. The house location is great and the sunset colors from the patio are great everyday. The area is great to enjoy fall colors and to drive around to Saratoga or Lake George. Will definitely be back in the summer to spend more quality time. Will be even luckier if I get to hear some more of his insightful history facts or personal stories.

  • My friend and I enjoyed our stay at Richard’s place. Mary and Richard were very hospitable and made us feel comfortable in their home. The view of the lake from the lake was very scenic and beautiful. We had a lovely time in the hot tub located outside on the deck with the view of the lake under the star lit sky . Richard cooked a delicious breakfast for us as well.

  • We brought our college age children to Saratoga in late August to see the horse races and to enjoy a weekend on a lake. Richard & Mary provided us with outstanding hospitality in a beautiful setting. They were on top of making our stay as perfect as could be. Richard prepared us a wonderful breakfasts each morning and wouldn’t hear of me running out to buy donuts. He gave me such an incredulous look! The home, kitchen and bathrooms were spotlessly clean and well organized. The night sky was full of stars from there deck & hot tub. The lake was clear and cool - and they generously offered us a boat ride round the lake. When you drive to their home you are treated to beautiful countryside with horse, cattle and vegetable farms. It should be spectacle come fall. Make your reservation or I will!

  • Richard and Mary are wonderful hosts and extremely accommodating! A treat! Breakfast was served!! Beautiful spot on the lake! 5 stars!

    Eileen2018-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Hello! I want to start by saying that the idea to spend weekend in the Saratoga Springs area came suddenly and it was almost impossible to find an available apartment or room, but we got lucky!!! We found Richard’s place to be very clean, comfortable, and perfectly sized for one to two people. The bathroom and shower were excellent. We were staying in a cozy room with a lake view and we could watch an amazing sunrise at 5:30 am, without even getting out of bed! As a bonus, Richard cooked breakfast for us in the mornings which tasted delicious—even the coffee was fragrant and tasty! The place is located 30 minutes from Saratoga Springs, Saratoga Lake, and 50 minutes to Lake George! My friend and I like to explore new and interesting places and do extreme sports activities. Richard and his lovely wife Mary gave us an idea of where to go and what to see. On our last day after his delicious breakfast, Richard offered us a lake tour on his pontoon boat which we enjoyed a lot! For the price we paid, I think we got a great deal and it was well worth it. I am looking forward to staying here again one day. Thank you, Richard and Mary for your hospitality!

  • Rick and Mary go above and beyond to make your stay one of a kind. With a house on the Lake you wake up to a beautiful view and they will cook breakfast for you. We bought steaks and chicken and Rick grilled them for us and even took us on his boat onto the lake so we could go swimming. If I come back to this area, I'm coming here again

    Molly2018-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • You will love the solitude of the lake and its surroundings. Richard makes the most fantastic breakfasts and he and Marys company was a joy!

  • This is one magical place that we are so lucky to have visited. Don and Sue were lovely, helpful, and friendly hosts. We availed ourselves of the breakfast (almost all local!) and were able to spend some time on the farm. This is a perfect place to be with nature and a good book (they have plenty if you forget one). We look forward to coming back at some point, hopefully soon.

  • Such a beautiful spot, very wholesome and welcoming! Larry and Leslie are so accomidating. So much to do if you like the outdoors. Felt right at home.

    Kate2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Larry and Leslie are excellent hosts. Super fast responses whenever we needed anything and they were super informative with everything we needed to know about the air bnb. The house is beautiful and clean. It’s super cozy and stocked with all of the common accommodations for living in the house. I would definitely recommend staying at this house just for the views and places to explore. Definitely check it out!

    Eduardo2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful and well-appointed home nestled next to Cossayuna Lake. Larry and Leslie were thoughtful and attentive hosts. The space was plenty big for our party of 8, and the area was perfect for a nature walk in the fresh snow. We’re already looking forward to next time!

    Nick2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Larry and Leslie’s beautiful home was such an amazing, relaxing getaway! Everything and more was provided for us so we never felt like we were missing anything, which was convenient as we never had to leave the house for anything. Everything was nice and clean when we arrived, check in and departure was incredibly easy, and the instructions for everything were clear and concise. Larry really went out of his way to make sure everything was set up when we arrived including setting up the hot tub and making sure we made it to the house. The hot tub was huge and made our stay that much better! Will definitely stay here again and recommend anyone to stay here if you’re looking for a nice quiet getaway!

    Sabrina2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • The house was as advertised - very comfortable and spacious in a lovely spot next to Lake Cossayuna. Coffee on the dock was joy during autumn; the view was exceptional. Lots of canoes and kayaks, a fire pit for cold nights, and an old but still very functional play set for the kiddos in the backyard. We traveled into the Queensbury/Lake George area both days that we stayed which was a very pleasant ~45 min drive. (There is a lovely brewery named Slickfin about halfway in between in Fort Edward.) Larry made sure to call and confirm that we arrived ok and was a very gracious host.

    Evan2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Larry was very communicative and easy to get in touch with. The place was great and as advertised. The house is clearly loved and utilized by the owners and the setting is great. Enjoy the boats and lake, go for a nice long walk or just relax. Great place!

    Ashton2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Larry is a wonderful host. He waited for our arrival to show us the house. There were plenty of kayaks, canoes and boats for all nine of us to explore the lake. The house is extremely spacious with plenty of beds and the jacuzzi was loved by everyone.

    Kimberly2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had an excellent weekend at this house. Everything was clean and accessible for our use. Just wanted to call out that the house is down the hill as the number was hidden and we stopped at the neighbor’s house first. Also, the house has an obstructed view of the lake, the picture on the listing is from the dock which you need to walk down through the woods to access. Larry was very welcoming and would definitely recommend this to others in the future.

  • such a kind couple with a beautiful home! photos don't do the house justice, a warm & cozy place in a gorgeous location! perfect for a nature getaway, and Don and Sue are lovely people! definitely recommend staying here! breakfast was delicious, and they were happy to accommodate my dietary preferences

  • Amazing rural location in a beautiful rural town. Don was a fantastic host and guide, and the stay was perfect. We got up to watch the sun rise—from bed—and the setting was the best way to visit Argyle. We'd definitely stay there again.

  • My husband and I stayed at Lant Hill Farm for two nights recently and it was wonderful! This is a special place owned by Don and Sue who will go out of their way to make your feel comfortable and enjoy the experience staying at their beautiful bed and breakfast. It's a peaceful place with amazingl sunrises and views. A photographers paradise! We did partake in their two of their one of a kind breakfasts made fresh each morning. Don't miss it. With Don's homemade popovers we had the choice of Sue's pear, kiwi or raspberry jams and the muslei/oatmeal with fresh berries and edible flowers was out of this world. But it is the genuine kindness and friendship that Don and Sue offer that makes the experience going to Lant Hill Farm something your won't soon forget! We will be back! We highly recommend it!

Relaxing waterfront lake house with modern amenities. Lake days are the best days and we are happy to be sharing our home with you. Our camp means the world to us and we know you'll love every minute you spend on Cossayuna Lake. Camp Cossayuna sits right on the water so you can spend each day admiring the beauty it showcases. Just 40 minutes from Saratoga Springs, Lake George and Manchester, VT and 60 minutes from the Troy/Albany area makes our lake house a convenient escape.
BBQ on the grill, roast marshmallows at night over the fire, great fishing right off the dock, kayak to the big island, get cozy with a book by the fireplace or have game night with the family! We are a Pet Friendly Home. Get out on the water in one of our kayaks. We have a variety of adult life jackets in different sizes. You may want to think about any kiddos though! Cossayuna Lake is a 15-20 minute drive to Greenwich where you can find a larger grocery store, a variety of takeout food locations, bank, pharmacy and Kmart for any last minute needs. We have an adorable country store located just 5 minutes from the camp with fresh baked goods, small grocery selection and homemade pizzas to go!
  • My husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway with our dog and this place was perfect. To begin, Heidi was great to communicate with, as she was quick to respond and answer any of our questions leading up to and during our stay. The camp was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting out on the upper deck for breakfast and grilling (there was plenty of propane for us to use) on the lower deck for dinner while admiring the lake views. The area is very quiet and therefore, very relaxing. During our stay we went kayaking several times (there are two kayaks/paddles that renters can use), toasted marshmallows by the fire, took a day trip to Lake George, which is 35 minutes away, and watched Netflix, Hulu, and HBO at night. There are air conditioners and fans throughout the camp making it comfortable for hot summer days and although we didn’t get cell phone reception, the WiFi worked great. There were some nice touches Heidi provided, including several bottles of water in the fridge and a bag of firewood for the fire pit. We had such a nice time that we extended our stay by an extra night. We would return and if we did we would learn how to fish and take advantage of the fishing poles provided for use (the lake seems great for fishing) and we would take a drive to Saratoga. Thanks Heidi!

  • Heidi’s place was perfect for a relaxing time on the lake! Great views and they had kayaks and fishing poles so you can get the most out of your time on the lake. It was even an easy drive to Saratoga for our evening plans. Would highly recommend staying here!

  • Best Camp on Cossayuna !   In my many times staying on Cossayuna Lake, I have found this to be the best available camp on Cossayuna. This camp offers everything for a comfortable, and fun stay on the lake. The home is lovely, has a large open floor plan, with a well-stocked kitchen, and 3 large bedrooms w/ queen beds. Each room is independently air conditioned, providing maximum comfort to each room. A large cast iron gas fireplace in the living room, heats the home more than sufficiently during cooler nights if needed. Oversize couches and chairs in the living area provide plenty of space to relax, read a book, or stream a movie. We streamed the live Basketball, and Hockey finals from my laptop with the HDMI cable attached to the TV. The camp also offers Amazon, Hulu, etc., for streaming movies or shows. The owners share everything in their home, and you will find most items you need for preparing, cooking, and cleaning readily available. The home is well furnished with towels, washcloths, linens, sheets, blankets, pots, pans, dishes, silver, glasses etc. You will find no shortage of fun things to do while staying at Camp Cossayuna with a View ! The property is spacious with plenty of room for parked cars, and boat trailers; and still plenty of room for children to run and play on the grounds. The camp is a quick, and easy ride from the NY State Boat launch (free), and the camp dock is large enough to accommodate 4 or more fishing, and pleasure boats. There are so many provided emenities, and fun leisure activities. Kayak on the lake with the provided boats, and paddles. Fish from the dock with the provided fishing poles. Panfish, perch, bass, and pike fishing is excellent right from the dock. Play a family game of whiffle ball, read a book, or just relax with loved ones over a jigsaw puzzle. Food, drinks, ice, and bait worms for fishing are available at the Stewarts shop 8 minutes away in Argyle. The view from the home is beautiful looking out over the lake. The raised deck down by the water has a spacious picnic table, and large gas grill for that family fish fry, or steak cookout. At the end of your fun, and relaxing day, enjoy some roasted marshmallows or Smores by a bon fire right next to the water in the stone fireplace ring. The owners are friendly and accommodating, and the booking and reservation process is simple and easy. I can’t say enough about Camp Cossayuna with a View. Thank you, and see you again soon ! • This was out 2nd time staying at Linda's. We feel right at home in this lovely and comfortable spot.

  • Amazing! We had the perfect experience. I usually spend time at a family cabin in Up North Wisconsin and was trying to show what the experience was to some family membera visiting NY. We were not disappointed, the lake is beautiful, so quiet and green. We kayaked, fished, and built fires at night 3 feet from the lake shore. The appartment itself is right in front of the water with only a beautiful loan and garden in between. Great views. Linda and Bill made us feel at home. They took us on a boat ride to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. Again, amazing! I really recommend it!

  • It was all great. Right on the lake. Great space. Great hosts. Lovely 3 day get away. Highly recommended. Space was much larger that expected.

  • Staying at Linda's place was like staying at the home of a friend. The apartment is very cozy and comfortable. She has thought of everything you might need from Q-tips to coffee filters. There are even dishes, wineglasses, pots & pans, silverware etc. Lots of comfy places to sit and relax. The house is right on the waterfront so you have access to beautiful lake. The lake is not too deep and very clean and clear.

  • Linda and Bill were genuinely kind hosts who welcomed us like we were old friends. My wife and I had wonderful time at their place which was better than it is described ( of course catching perfectly good weather like we did helped instill wonderful memories in retrospect). My spouse and I can't wait to go back when the opportunity permits. That wanting to go back, as much as their place and the wonderful lake setting contributed to that urge, was primarily a function of their kindness of spirit and easy going nature. They made us feel that their home was our home for the few days we were there. Simply put, they have the right place, and more importantly, the right stuff that great hosts and friends are a made of.

  • Great experience. An entire floor to yourself that leads out a spacious covered porch. Steps away from the dock & the lake. They have tons of water equipment available to help you enjoy the water (tubes, kayaks, paddleboat, etc). The indoor area is spacious & has a sizeable satellite TV. There is a small kitchenette stocked with dishware in case you want to cook (& propane grill outside). Microwave, coffee maker & toaster too. No cell service but good wifi. Toiletries & towels provided in the restroom. Approximately a 15 minute drive to nearest stores in case you need something. Big thanks to our hosts for showing us around the lake on their boat too. About a 4hr drive from Manhattan. Perfect getaway from the stifling heat of the city.

  • We all - 4 adults, a 4-year-old and a baby - had a fantastic stay at Sunset Way! Linda could not have been kinder, and did everything she could to make sure we had a great time. The fruit and drinks in the fridge when we arrived were a real treat! Linda and Bill are great fun, and we really enjoyed meeting them! The location is super, and the boats, bbq, and garden are perfect family entertainment.

  • Linda provided every thing we could ever imagine needing or wanting. She was helpful with directions and when we arrived it was clear where we needed to park how to get down to the space we were staying. The space was not only an indoor space but an outdoor living space which was absolutely awesome . There was a gas grill ,prepping space for food a little refrigerator, a cubby with utensils and plates and glasses anything you would need to cook with . There were tons of places to sit in this outside space . There was a fire pit, a long dock you could walk on with kayaks, a rowboat and a dock further out that you could cannonball off of . There was fantastic views of Lake Cossayuna complete with a family of ducks, nesting bald eagles , birds everywhere on the feeders, it was so cool. Linda and Bill were amazing hosts we got to chat with them the night we got there and then on Saturday and they told us a brief history of the lake and we just chitchatted for a while and got a special boat ride on their pontoon which is really extremely cool of them and not expected . The neighborhood was chill and quiet, there were some people waterskiing , jet skiing , fishing . The house was comfortable with Ceiling fans, a large screen TV with the million channels again tons of places to sit and sleep . There was a futon, a blowup mattress, and a separate bedroom with two full beds. Linda thinks of everything: toiletries(just in case), towels, there's a toaster , coffee maker , microwave , real dishes inside & another refrigerator , cook stove and oven . We look forward to staying here again next year! It was so relaxing and we all felt totally at home! We miss it already

  • My family and I along with a friend and their family just stayed at Valerie's place for labor day weekend. We really enjoyed our stay. We found the place to be clean, quite , accommodating and extremely relaxing. I would highly recommend valerie's place to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, quiet location to enjoy with family or friends.

  • The Cossayuna lake house is a beautiful piece of property with easy access to the lake for kayaking. When we opened the door, the tv was on and music was playing making it very welcoming. The home is very cozy and comfortable! There is a gorgeous view outside but also from the inside looking out through the large windows. We had daily bonfires using wood from the pile on site.

  • The Lake House is truly as Val states; with some updates. There is Wi-Fi , TV and the such; but you really won't need it. The house is beautiful and beautifully furnished. Val, as a hostess, is the best...she provided us with info on places to visit as well as actually spending time with us and allowing us to spend time with her family as well, as she lives next door. We had the use of the kayak, paddleboards, canoe and Val took our daughter and granddaughter out on the boat with she and her family tubing. They had a wonderful time. We made so many wonderful memories and look forward to going back. I would definitely give Val "5" stars for this beautiful piece of heaven. To the sunrise in the morning, frogs croaking, birds singing, peacefulness and nighttime bond fires. We truly enjoyed our family getaway. You will not be dissappointed!!

  • A peaceful and restful weekend on the lake. The perfect place to hangout with the family and have fun on canoe and paddle. Everything is available in the house, with delicate attentions from Valarie, an amazing view and access to the lake. Awesome (Hope the English is clear...) À French Family

  • The photos do not do justice to how idyllic the lake views are from the porch and the boat dock. Each morning we had coffee/tea on the deck followed by a canoe row from the dock. And each night we went back to the dock for star gazing. There is also a fire pit and chairs near the dock. The cottage is spacious with plenty of room for 8 of us. Only one bathroom was a bit limiting for 8, but we weren't in any hurry. We are eager to return next fall.
