Lovely, spacious flat. Large ground floor windows directly onto the Graefekiez, a part of Kreuzberg full of cozy cafes and good falafel, make for a sunny living room.

Martin is a very good host, very attentive and cheerful and helped us with some problems we had. The apartment is very comfortable, clean and very well located, in the Kreuzberg district. Really high recommended, it is close to almost everything. We will repeat when we return to Berlin.

Lots of pros and very little cons to mention, amazing place for short stays

Everything great :) Tip: you have to ventilate for a while before going to bed because otherwise it is very warm in the loft bed and the thick air rises.

This is a very special venue, located in a very lovely warm neighbourhood full of cozy restaurants and cafes. This Airbnb is not to be compared by any other. The interior makes you think as if you are in an old movie yourself, and frank makes you feel as if you are staring as the main role in your first debut in a vintage film noir. Thank you frank!

Love this place

The room is lovingly and very individually decorated. Frank is personable and accommodating, but not pushy. The bathroom is clean and the Airbnb is only a few meters away from a good bakery and an underground station. Perfect for exploring Berlin for a few days. If we visit Berlin again, we will definitely try to stay with Frank again.

Daniel’s place is a great option if you want to visit Berlin. The neighborhood is lively, but quiet in the same time. You can find here a lot of restaurants, coffeehouses and shops. It is not far from the center of the city and you and can also take a walk to the close neighborhoods. Daniel is a great host, a very kind and friendly person. He can give you a lot of tips if you want to experience the city as a local. His apartment is very clean and nice. Overall, you will be more than thrilled to stay at Daniel’s place and to meet him.

The three of us stayed in Jeanette's beautiful apartment for four nights and were very impressed. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, yet there are plenty of great cafes and bars nearby. Interesting places such as Friedrichshain, Neukölln and other Kreuzberg districts are even within walking distance. There is a very good connection to the city center and the main train station by bus and subway. Communication with Jeanette was very friendly and quick. Unfortunately we couldn't get to know Jeanette personally, but the key box made it very easy to hand over the keys. The apartment is sparkling clean and has a great equipment with many extras and is very functional. We didn't miss anything and if the weather was nice we could have used the two wheels in front of the door! Jeanette's apartment is definitely recommended!

Very tidy and lovely AirBnb apartment equipped with everything we needed during our trip. Martin was really helpful and communication was as smooth as can be. Great location close to great cafes, bars & restaurants and although it’s a lively neighborhood the apartment is very quiet! Would absolutely recommend to stay there!

I stayed at Martin’s AirBnB with my 12 and 13-year olds and we loved the classic Berlin architecture with super tall stuccoed ceilings and the loft beds. Martin is an architect and it shows: everything was very thoughtfully and tastefully designed, with multiple light sources for a cozy atmosphere. I also loved being able to play my music through the Bluetooth speakers. The bus stops right in front so I was able to go see a music show in the evening and come back late and still feel completely safe. Don’t miss Graefestrasse for its many cafes and unique boutiques. Berlin retains an authenticity lost in most other Western capitals.

Martin’s apartment is super stylish and clean. It was very spacious for 2 people and can easily be shared by 2 couples. We could not wish for a better location, central and perfect for all the coolest parts of Berlin. We hope to be return!

This was my second stay at one of Martin's Airbnb's, and I would recommend it to anyone I know travelling to Berlin. Aside from the fact that the apartment is lovely, clean and in a wonderful location, Martin is truly a great host. I had to cut my trip short due to an emergency that required me to travel back home, and my change in plans was very last minute. Near a huge number of supermarkets, excellent restaurants and cafes, there is a bus stop near the entrance. Easy check-in and check-out. The cleanliness is perfect! Great location, individual little « house » in the garden. Very quiet, nice and warm space (visit during winter), everything was clean and cozy. Fits perfectly 1-4 people. The stairs to the kitchen and bathroom are quite steep though for little kids or people with disabilities could pose a problem. Kitchen is well equipped as well as bathroom. It was very easy to communicate with Martin and Christine through WhatsApp. There’s a market just around the corner and the location is great, plenty of coffee shops, wine bars and good restaurants nearby. Strong recommendation. 💪🏼

We liked the apartment very much. The neighborhood is also full of nice coffee shops, clothes stores and even a punk record shop. Good access from the airport and to attractions. We had a very enjoyable stay. Would recommend it anytime and would come back.

I had a nice stay and felt very comfortable. Despite the fact that the hostess was not there, the check-in worked well. At first I had problems finding the apartment, but the misunderstanding could also be cleared up!

Can’t imagine a better location to stay in Berlin! ~15-20 min walk to downtown Kreuzberg, but far enough out of the way to be peaceful.

Isabelle's flat is very comfortable and in the heart of Neukolln. Its a 5 minute walk to the underground train and surrounded by vintage shops, beautiful cafes, bars, restaurants... everything. There is a very sweet and cute cat in the flat that made the stay even better for me. Isabelle herself is extremely kind and helpful. If this flat is available, I highly recommend staying here.

Nice little flat in a great area

The place was super nice! Well situated, it is a 6 minutes walk from two U-bahn station (U7 and U8). The cat was nice and I did not any issue with him. Perfect place to stay if you go to Berlin!

Very chill place with bohemian interior, the hosts are very nice and easy to hang out with. Cozy and felt like home so if you like authentic and not-hotel-like airbnbs like i do then would recommend! The house smells like cigarettes but for me it was not a problem, just saying if someone has! :) Anyway, cute place!!

Andrea’s flat is literally 2 minutes far from Kottbusser Tor, super well connected and walking distance from everything you’ll need (including super good - and cheap - restaurants). Andrea and his friends are super chill and interesting people, it was a pleasure to chat with them.

Our stay was unbelievable. - Super easy checking - super secure place with super easy parking, and outstanding Organic shop, and Sudanese fast food nearby - quick walk to the award-winning Sonnenallee area - massive leg workout thanks to the stairs :-) The apartment is a DREAM. Mega clean. Mega bright. Mega silent. Mega spacious. It is MUCH bigger than what you can imagine on the pictures. The big pink fluffy thing on the ground is super stylish and we used it with passion. The amenities are outstanding, and although we did not use them, there were plenty of spices, coffees, teas . . . a powerful over, and super nice and clean microwave oven. The bed was MEGA comfy, super thick and warm and the heating system was super powerful. The bathroom's cleanliness made it a true pleasure to stay clean. Can't thank Caroline enough for her guidance, and providing DOZENs of amazing locations to enjoy nearby. Will definitely come soon for longer durations.

MAGNIFICENT The wifi works perfectly and trustworthy to work. I really love the care with decoration. Every day I stayed there it felt like home. The bed is comfortable, the towels are better than many hotel towels and the shower is very good and the water cames with pressure! All bathroom pretty and new. Would stay there again! Really near to the subway and the best cheap restaurant in region: a turkish one with pizza, pasta, kebab, salad, etc (near metro). Host is very nice, polite and kind. It makes the difference. The subway station is a little bit strange at night, but the path to the apartment is safe and quick. There are some bars nearby (two in 1min walk) and nice places to eat breakfast also. The neighborhood is beautifull and very "Berlin". I was pretty happy there. Would recommend to rent a bike and explore a little. :)

i chose the place for its location (which is absolutely perfect) but was very happy to meet the host and to live in a stylish and special home (which is really an architectural masterpiece of its own). great experience of real Berlin off the beaten path!

Regina is a wonderful host. She gave many tips about the surroundings and was very helpful when I needed to get around. The room is in a quite location, and her flat felt very friendly and sparkling clean. I'd recommend her place without hesitation.

Those were two great days. The location of the apartment is perfect, with cafes and restaurants right outside the door. I will gladly come again.

At the beginning of January I had an operation in the Vivantes Klinikum am Urban, which is only a 5-minute walk away. Before the operation, I was able to explore the surrounding streets, which offer enough shopping opportunities and nice restaurants. The Babylonkino is also recommended! After the operation, I stayed in my room for two more days until my husband picked me up in Berlin. I felt very well. Regina is a great and understanding hostess.I was very comfortable with my own small bathroom with toilet and sink, the comfortable sofa where I could sit and lie relaxed and also the TV in the room. The communication went smoothly and I had my peace and privacy.

Lovely home with amazing hosts

Regina's place is located in a lovely part of the city and is in a unique architect-designed building. The room was spacious and had everything I needed for my stay. Regina keeps the apartment spotless. I appreciated the tourist tips that Alexander provided and the help that Regina gave me with a phone call in German as I needed to visit a sick friend in hospital.

Had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! Great location, train station only a 6 minute walk away. The flat is very spacious and had everything we needed, even a washing machine. Hosts were very welcoming and gave us tips on tourist attractions, where the nearest supermarket is, etc. Martin was overseas during our stay but was still very responsive when we were having a bit of trouble working the stove. Amazing Airbnb, definitely staying here again if we come back to Berlin!

An absolutely unique, I liked it very much! You have to like the area, otherwise, perfect connection, you get great from A to B, check in / out everything super easy, Frank is a great host. I would love to come back!

Frank was extremely friendly and easy to communicate with, which made check-in stress free. His space at the Kinomuseum is one of a kind and in such an ideal location in the heart of Kreuzberg. Being right next to the train station was also very convenient.

This was such a nice place to stay. The metro is a 3 minute walk from the apartment and Marie is super kind and helpful with good tips for the city.

Marie is a great host! She considered everything we need in the house. Her house feels like home. It is on 3rd level. It is clean and heated well in winter. Heating was important for us since we had a baby. We could leave baby's stroller in the locked basement storeroom. The kitchen has more than you expected. It has dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, microwave, oven, kettle, coffee machine, soda filter, pots etc. The bath has razors, cotton swabs, towels, shampoos and even deodorant for men and women! Living room is also the bedroom. There are one king size cosy bed and an expandable coach which is cosy too. My back is sensitive and I had no problem sleeping on them. Tv has Netflix and other channels. It was very kind of her to leave us some fruits when we first arrived. It was soo good and delicious because we were tired. Marie is a very kind and thoughtful person. She let us late check out because we had to move in the afternoon to our next accomodation.

Everything is great

This Airbnb is in my favorite part of Berlin. If it's your first time in Berlin, STAY IN MAYBACHUFER!!! In other neighborhoods, it's easy to get the impression that Berlin is rather dark and just not as beautiful as other European cities; however, that just means you haven't seen the canals. My only disappointments about this stay was that the apartment doesn't have a view of the canal (and the abysmally flat pillows). It is a "gartenhaus," which means it's on the ground floor. It looks out on the "garden," which is really just a courtyard. This means that if you need total privacy, you have to close the shutters and lose all the light. There are shades, but they're transparent. So there wasn't as much light as I was hoping for. That said, the apartment itself is super chic, everything you could need (except for pillows that are thicker than a comforter). Very functional kitchen, bathroom, and beautiful antiques. I particularly love the pale blue walls. Whoever designed it clearly has excellent taste. Frank was a wonderful host (except for the pillows, which I asked about in advance). My schedule evolved a bit right before my stay, but he worked with me to change the check in time, and on a few other things that came up. Communication was always quick and cheerful. For light sleepers and/or lovers: This is a good spot for you. Quiet and quite soundproof with nice thick walls. For adventurers: I was totally delighted to step out the front door and find myself in the middle of the Turkish Market, which seemed to happen every other day. Here you can find food, handmade things, and tons of fabrics and other stuff for creative people. On the opposite side of the canal is my favorite spot in Berlin--beautiful restaurants, cafes, and shops. The U-Bann station is a 5-minute walk, and there are several grocery stores and an "everything" store within a 3-minute radius.

It’s really a good apartment! Very local Berlin style. Vintage furniture is very very beautiful and comfortable. Hope I can choose this apartment when I back!!! Btw, Frank is very nice and quick reply person. Hope he also have a good trip!

Great apartment and very close to train station

Franks place was clean, tidy and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. Check in was really easy and Frank was great with communication and was quick to respond to any messages. The apartment is close to restaurants, bars, shops and the u-Bahn, however the location felt a bit dodgy at times, particularly at the stations and at night.

Nice place, nice shower. Nice and quiet, no noise from outside or neighbors. All facilities are available nearby

He is a boy but comfortable studio, well located, many shops nearby, fairs and a few blocks from the tran. It has the essentials to live, I was almost 2 weeks and I had no problem. I recommend.

Perfect apartment for 2 guests staying for a few nights in Berlin with a very close metro station. Jeff is very fast in responding and very flexible as well. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Berlin soon :)

A large room in a very stylish apartment. Gunter's place is located in a cool area of Berlin (lots of restaurants and boutique shops) and 2 mins from the undergrund. Highly recommend!

Excellent location . The building is very nice although to reach the apartment you have to climb four floors by stairs. The rating is very nice, spacious and comfortable.

Wow, cool spot. Thomas and his roommates were amazing and wonderful artists and people to encounter on my first trip to Berlin. A true Berlin experience?? If you're looking for a quiet boring place go somewhere else (although they were very quiet and respectful when I finally was ready to sleep). If you're looking for an authentic place in the heart of an amazing city I recommend it.
