It's a very lovely and green and quiet home in Karen - the place instantly makes you feel at peace. Enjoy being in nature but still close to Karen places. I have been there twice now and would definitely visit again!

We traveled to Nairobi for 2 weeks to be close to our son's family, who live nearby. Specioza's place was as described, very secluded and private, with beautiful grounds, and all the amenities you would need for a short or long stay. Specioza and Peter (the groundskeeper) were very responsive, and flexible with our booking. However, guests should be aware that you absolutely need to have your own vehicle to access this property, and in rainy weather, you would need AWD. We typically get around via Uber, and often order grocery and restaurant deliveries, but none of these options were available to us, due to the long dirt road leading to the remote property. Fortunately, we were able to borrow an AWD vehicle from our son, which made our stay workable and pleasant. We would highly recommend this property if you like a very quiet and secluded setting, and have your own vehicle. We would definitely consider this property again for future visits.

Nestled in the peaceful, leafy neighborhood of Karen, the property is full of charm and character—every detail from the rustic decor to the lush gardens gives the house a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. What truly sets Amani House apart, though, is the hospitality. The staff were attentive and kind, going above and beyond to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. A special shoutout to Russell, who was not only gracious and helpful throughout our visit, but even came to the rescue when our car wouldn’t start. He helped us jump it without hesitation—a small act that meant a lot and reflects the spirit of this special place. If you’re looking for a serene, beautifully designed spot with heart and soul, Amani House is it. We’ll definitely be back.

Every detail in Pauline‘s place is thought through and prepared with extreme attention to detail. We could tell from the first moment that a lot of love went into the creation of this accommodation. The remoteness, calmness and privacy the place provides were a highlight on our trip, and we would book again in an instant if our way leads us in the area. Breakfast on the terrace is a must! 10/10 would book again.

We loved our stay at five acres. Marvin responds very fast and correct. He is flexible and friendly. The house is exactly as described in the ad. It has a lush green garden and is located in a safe enviroment. Would def come again.

Overall, everything was satisfactory. The instructions were accurate during the check-in process, and the host responded kindly. The accommodation is located on the high, so the view is nice and nice. The bedding in the accommodation was also clean and comfortable. If I travel to Nairobi, it was an accommodation worth using in the future!!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Nairobi! The place was exactly as described — clean, stylish, and very comfortable. The attention to detail was impressive, from the cozy furnishings to the thoughtful amenities provided. The location was perfect — close enough to access key parts of the city easily, yet peaceful enough to unwind after a long day. I felt safe and well taken care of throughout my stay. What really stood out was the host’s hospitality. Communication was smooth, check-in was effortless, and they went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nairobi — whether for business or leisure, this place ticks all the boxes. What a wonderful space, and what a wonderful stay! Guyo is warm, welcoming, highly responsive and so so helpful as a guide to both Karen and to Kenya as a whole. It's a bit far from the city center if you plan to be there every day, but it is great as a base if you want to explore Kenya or the surrounding areas of Nairobi more broadly, and the cleaning/water/laundry/security amenities are reliable and good. The building itself is surrounded by birds, ivy-covered, and in one of the only walkable areas of Nairobi that I know of; many of the other guests I encountered chose to extend their stays upon arrival. I feel lucky to have found this spot. A comfortable, sunny resting place in a peaceful area of an otherwise somewhat chaotic city. Thank you for a great few months!

My family and I stayed at Paps cabin for 2 nights only because it was fully booked and I couldn't extend my stay. The cabin is private, the surrounding garden is really well maintained and the staff were incredibly helpful. Bunduz is perfect for families that want to spend some quality time and watch beautiful sunsets. The restaurant is an added bonus for those who'd like a break from making their own meals, the food at the restaurant was excellent! The only improvement I'd suggest is the restocking of some of the kitchen utensils and crockery like plates. My family and I will definitely be staying here again

Ol Losowan proved to be a very peaceful place to spend our final few days in Kenya before flying back to the U. K. Within walking distance of the Giraffe Centre, we took in that experience and then cooled off in the beautiful saline pool and read beneath the trees and umbrellas. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds made for restful nights, and we made the most of the kitchen and bbq facilities to prepare most of our meals on site to the sound of the tree hyraxes and bush babies. Thank you for hosting us Julie and your team. Our only disappointment was that we never got to meet you in person!

Lovely lakeside house- so peaceful. Great for a small family or a slightly larger group. We enjoyed the coffee farm tour and the trip to see the animals. Mostly we enjoyed the quiet of the gardens and getting away from the city into nature. The WiFi works great and there is good mobile signal but I would definitely recommend losing the phone for your time there and relaxing instead! The guys onsite were really helpful and great with our 2 small children, who had a wonderful time. We've already recommended to several friends.

Amazing quiet getaway for family and friends. Beautiful surroundings and very friendly staff at the property. The walk around the property that we did was very enjoyable by adults and kids alike. The heavy showers added to the dramatic scenery from the property. Definitely will be visiting again when possible!!

My friends and I had an amazing stay at Olsotowa House! The property is incredible with plenty of room for 10 guests, a great pool to relax in, fun activities to do (ping pong, foosball, archery, spa day, movie nights), and a wonderful view of the sunset from Ngong Hills. The hosts were very helpful and responsive, the property staff (Dorris, Julius, etc.) were great, and the chef (Martin) prepared delicious meals and snacks for all dietary preferences. I would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to going back!

We had an amazing stay for one night. The house is great and well equipped, the location is beautiful and incredibly peaceful, and Ivan, the guard is very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend for a quiet getaway.
